For retraining motor patterns: shorter, more frequent sessions work better than grinding until you collapse. 15-20 minutes of deliberate practice where you can maintain focus and proper form, then stop. Yeah I agree with most of that. The recoil control point makes sense and it lines up with what I was feeling in game even if I am not one hundred percent sure I am executing it correctly yet. Using the arm feels more stable and repeatable, and when I slip back into finger control it definitely gets messy.
I also think you are right about the volume. I wanted to push through it thinking more reps would force adaptation, but I can see how fatigue just brings old habits back. I am still a bit unsure where the exact cutoff should be for me, but grinding until everything feels sloppy is probably not helping.

Makes sense. The arm control thing is one of those adjustments where you know conceptually what you're supposed to do, but actually ingraining it takes time. You'll probably catch yourself reverting to fingers a lot at first, especially in actual matches when you're not thinking about mechanics.
For the cutoff, just pay attention to when your focus starts drifting or when you notice your form breaking down. That's usually the sign to stop. Could be 15 minutes, could be 30. It varies day to day depending on how fresh you are going in.
The passing out thing is definitely worth taking seriously. Could've been a one-off from lack of sleep or not eating enough that day, but if it happens again or you're consistently getting unusually tired from aim training, probably worth checking in with a doctor. Might be nothing, might be something like low iron or blood sugar issues. Better to rule it out than brush it off.
Rest won't fix everything on its own, but it's part of the equation. Your muscles and nervous system adapt during recovery, not during the grind itself. The practice creates the stimulus, the rest is where the actual improvement happens. That's why sleep-deprived practice sessions tend to feel like they go nowhere.
