What loopy is trying to say is that the curve only adds extra nuance to what you could already do yourself, by having your mouse movements be 1:1 with what you do. It feels much more natural and you can build off that more positively by learning small things like using your fingers or your wrist to give you that more wide range of control (if it's a burst of speed you want or something super slow and precise) you get both of those things by learning how to play normally but just better
