2. you’re overextending and W keying people/groups that you don’t have to trading 2 kills for a death

3. you’re not really checking anywhere except directly in front of you. let go of W and check ur surroundings once in a while

you spend half the match trying to kill one dude, he presses one button and heals to full

then you spend the 2nd half of the match killing him again

its current implementation as basically an extra life is harmful and a lazy patchwork fix

what it really should be is something similar to how estus flasks work in dark souls

or healing in soulslikes in general

gives you a certain hp buffer that regens over time, if you get hit, the entire buffer vanishes

still gives the potential for a full regen for skilled players with good dodging

but completely shafts people who use it as a get out of jail free card

"oh shit i did a misplay by overextending into 3 people, lemme press instaheal and get no punishment for it"

to differentiate it from natural regen, it would obviously have to be faster than natural regen

maybe 2-3s for a full regen

still gives more than enough time for the other party to chase them down and tag them to get rid of their regen

and make them vulnerable

bc i feel like instaheal as a utility in itself isn't malicious, its just how its implemented as of now that's bad

and im specifically taking inspiration from soulslikes, since that's what i feel like an active selfheal should be
