if u take caffeine consistently for a while then stop then it gives me a massive headache since i become reliant on it
so after a week or two i take a week off
ye i have to take it cuz regular migraines
yea many people get that when going cold turkey after building high tolerance
withdrawl ye
from what ive understood its because caffeine supports blood flow to the brain. the lack of that extra blood flow is what causes the headache if you stop taking it
i havent seen more improvement past 60 days of taking it. at this point its very hard to tell whats placebo and whats actual effect of my supplementation.
have u tried to see what happens if u dont take it
yea my feeling is: im able to handle stressful days a lot more easily while taking it. when i would usually get overwhelmed by work schedule it helps me to maintain cool and get things done step by step.
in case anyone reads this and is curious what were talking about: heres a good source for all kinds of supps https://examine.com/supplements/ashwagandha/
examine.com š
No
@twin moss
how can i get betetr posture
yo
so basically
lets get nerdy
the whole idea that muscle memory has negative consequences is mega baloney
and there is no scientific research that actually supports the idea of muscle memory having negative consequences
i.e. changing sense and constantly over or under flicking every time now for days or weeks on end
because in reality most of the time you are aiming/ moving your mouse in game it is a conscious action in response to a stimuli and not an unconscious reaction.
but it does happen, just not much. In all of my time in valorant it has probably only happened ~5 times where the whole process (flick, click,) has happened unconsciously
ye "hospital flicks" lmao
you know when it happens because you are like surprised/ caught off guard
(definitely all skill and no luck whatsoever)
because you are still reacting to being shot at from just off the edge of your screen near greenbox
I need to think about it
its obviously not just luck
your brain is like processing a bunch of information really fast, because you know there is only a really small area in which he could be off the edge of your screen
so I think it is technically muscle memory but just not what we normally think of when we think of it valorant
how would we "thing about it in valorant"?
sorry
wanted to do a breakdown for fun
your flick was probably around an 70-80 degree turn
still super impressive that you unconsciously mentally visualized it and were able to land that
all of my muscle memory flicks are always vertical against people I dont expect to be up high, and like my brain registers them unconsciously from my peripheral vision and flicks
kk
thank you for the detailed explanation
so muscle memory is only really in unconscious reactions?
or have i misunderstood
yep, but colloquially it doesnt have to be unconsious
depends on the people I guess
aiming just isnt the same sort of thing that is typically associated with muscle memory
and the vast majority of the time you are aiming and flicking it isnt muscle memory at play
but aren't the skills in "conscious" skills in aiming and flicking, such as hand-eye coordination, a form of muscle memory.
there is a lot of hand eye coordination like you said, but hand eye coordination is seperate from muscle memory
oh
its why performers like jugglers can still juggle even when drunk
stuff like that
aiming is much more similar to something like driving
and in this anology we know that its a no no
surely when they are drunk, the hand-eye coordination is the thing "messed-up"
yes exactly
but muscle memory is not
well depending on severity
and how deep the muscle memory has been developed
because for me, I am able to juggle but its nowhere near the level of it being muscle memory
I have to intensely focus and can only maintain it for 30 seconds at most
so it depends also on how much you developed it and how truly repetitive the activity you are doing is
I could talk about this shit for so long
I do coaching and am also been personally interested in neuroscience in regards to esports and aiming
the whole subject is a big passion of mine
so conscious aiming = hand-eye coordination, reactivity etc. unconscious flicks and reactions = muscle memory
yeah you have it exactly right
so as far as aim training goes, im sure there are some high level static players who use quite a bit of muscle memory but
as far as professional players go there is very little muscle memory in aiming. You typically see muscle memory in clicking without mouse movement
the clip I linked was the first time I had a muscle memory flick
actually wait
the more I think about and do the math
I honestly think muscle memory is even less common
because doing the math in this clip I know it took me 217ms from the moment the cypher was on my screen to the moment I began turning to flick him. assuming I had the optimal 80ms unconscious mental processing speed + my peak 140ms reaction time
actually yeah that makes sense
thats actually probably exactly the recipe to those "wow" moments where you surprise yourself
its because there is no delay between you unconsciously processing the player and then consciously reacting to begin your movement
makes a lot of sense
honestly that might even be the "genetic factor" thats so important when it comes to esports
You need to have S tier unconscious reaction time to visual stimulus on top of having S tier conscious reaction time
In what part of genetics would make you fast at unconsciously reacting to a stimuli
like in the genes
I am pretty sure that connection hasn't been associated with a gene yet
probably not a high priority for geneticists
but a hereditary link in reaction time has been observed before
which implies genetic faster pertaining to reaction time
kk
genetics is crazy and only beginning to be understood and itll be a long time until we are close to fully understanding it
so its anecdotal I guess
what is the healthiest way to have my entire arm on the table while aiming?
To do so I usually have to rotate my body like 45 degrees counterclockwise (usually gives me shoulder pain), or I have to lean far forward while facing it straight on (usually causes neck pain). Am I missing a very obvious way to do full arm aiming comfortably?
Why do you want your whole arm on the desk
Cause it's what I've always done
I've tried other things before, but nothing works quite as well for me
Hello! Do u have any good advices for sweat hands? is my main problem rn
just put a towel right next to u
which grip is "best" for the thumb? or is it just a preference thing?
whatever feels comfortable
ight, ty
how do i stop tensing my wrist when aiming
fastest way to unlearn flicking habits ?
sometimes i flick my target for no reason n i dont realize i do it till it costs me my 1v1
Hey i broke my wrist a year ago or so, finally feels fine but it still very hard to do smooth flcks/ tracking, is there any tips?
Its called Hyperhidrosis palmaris and there are ways to fix this, there are creams like Antihydral creams that could help you or sweat gland removal surgery, there is also medication for it but most of them have unpleasant side-effects so i woulnt take them into consideration.
Wrist exercises are your best bet
Do you have any recommendations for such exercises ?
pinned messsages
^
maybe lower your sens?
@rancid rover
Heya to maybe clear it up a bit and add things u might wanna know from somebody who had your condition (me)
Heres what id do if i where you:
1.) if u take any SSRI antidepressantās (or things like adderall) talk to your doc, they are known that they can cause overly sweaty hands
2.) if you have mildly sweaty hands you can try wearing a thin glove or pick up a good antiperspirant at your local pharmacy. Good antiperspirants are mostly aluminum based which is said to be very unhealthy for you.
Edit: at this point you should 100% go to a doctor to get a professional to check you out
3.) if you have a more severe case of hyperhidrosis i strongly advocate to not touch any meds against it, there are 2 better variants that will COMPLETELY stop your hands from sweating (no its not bad for you dw) ill go from less invasive to more invasive.
Less invasive, TEMPORARY solution:
Botox! Yeah might sound crazy but getting botox injections from a dermatologist will completely stop ur hands from sweating for 6-12 months. The procedure is prolly the most painful thing iāve ever went through, it hurts like absolute hell if you dont get local anesthetics but youāre good to go with no pain after 2-3 days. This will range from 1000-2500$
More invasive and PERMANENT solition:
Endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy (ETS). Its a tiny operation that completely stops sweaty hands, the recovery time is rather short, i got out of the hospital on the second day and is rather painless compared to getting stabbed 100 times into your hand. Thats all ill add to this, here you 1000% need to talk to a doctor.
DONT take meds, they are shit, they will fuck with your body wayyyyy too much
Heres the order u should do it:
Glove -> talk to doc and get antiperspirants -> botox -> surgery
The surgery is 1000000% the best option if you have severe hyperhidrosis since you dont need to get it redone 1-2 a year.
Botox is 100% effective like the surgery but its fairly expensive and you need to suffer through it multiple times a year and the recovery pain is ass
- sweat gland removal on the hand doesnt exist, i got that wrong not too long ago aswell
^ only works on your armpits
To this^
Well written!
Thanks bro, i tried lmao.
Theres not a lot of good information out there for hyperhidrosis on hands!
yea not really, its not that common
yall taking sweaty hands too seriousely š
Youāre just insanely ignorant.
Having absolute 0 knowledge about the illness
Room temp iq at most
Are you actually like that š?
Never said to get surgery for video games
Hyperhidrosis is an illness
You dont even know how much u sweat
So stop trying to comment on stuff u know nothing about
Idk why some ppl find that so hard
š
Dont even reply
Hyperhidrosis literally decreases your living quality, sweating heavy without doing anything is just annoying
^
any advice for people starting to develop cubital tunnel syndrome? for me stretches seem to make it worse as it increases the inflamation in my forearms/wrists is that normal?
Talk to a doctor⦠like rn
And dont play till he gives you ok
Ull just make it worse
Thank you a lot for the answer!
i think i will start trying using gloves and antiperspirant and i will see how it works. I think i dont sweat a lot, but a lot of times is very annoying, specially when u are playing fps games, because i cant hold my mouse with full control and my aim ends being totally crap.
If that doesnt work i guess ill talk with the doctor.
Btw, u talked about bad antiperspirant, are they generally bad? And how can i know if a antiperpirant is actually good for my health?
And about the gloves: any recommendation? does any normal glove works fine?
what do you guys think about sleeping without pillow
does it help with posture around the neck area ?
no pillow im not sure but a thin one is certainly a good idea if youre a healthy individual
also pillow under foot to put them slightly higher actually helps with deeper sleep according to andrew huberman
interesting

when i move my right wrist too far right, it starts to hurt and feels like something's squeezing it. my wrist strength has gotten much weaker and pain is on the top side of the wrist
anyone have any idea what this could be? started January last year
my wrist sometimes (not sure when) hurts in this area and also cracks a lot, what could be the cause of that?
when it hurts, it doesnt constantly hurt, but when I move my hand to the right on the mouse
or like turn my wrist right
Any tips on clearly up a stuffy nose?
Do you only have problems while gaming?
Then you should go see a doctor, if its interfering with your everday activities
doctors in my area take forever
because healthcare is free
so waiting lists are
long long
The cracking is normal (as long as it is not accompanied by pain) due to gas between the joints or tissue rubbing over the bone. Same rule here, if you have Problems in everyday activties you should visit a doctor, if not then do some wrist exercise
But its important to get it checked regardless, i can't diagnose you but the possibilities of Arthritis or CTS are there
alright thanks
would a warm pack or cold pack help?
like
Always cold
Don't overuse your wrist tho
Health always goes first ;)
I dont really have everyday problems, as the pain is not very frequent
Im gonna stretch more often though
also ginger tea with lemon is really good for your muscles and joints btw
idk why the health guide says green tea
im not lying lol
We like evidence based tips
So yeah thats 2 in a row my shoulders making me suffer big time. Im following the rule of ergonomics yet im still getting massive amount of headache this time (last time it was my left arm cramping nightmarishly)
its proven
saying something is proven doesnt prove it
just link the evidence
Naturopath for a reason
??
thats your "its proven"
thats 40 participants, it says nothing about joints and it only claims "reduced pain" which is very subjective with that low sample size
saying its "really good for muscles and joints" based on that is a far stretch
yea thats bs
P-hacking moment
Just a reminder that p-hacking basically makes you able to make anything as scientific facts.
Always go for peer review if non-urgent and available.
Preferably with no disclosure of CoI
But thats rare.
okay i guess š
ginger is a mild anti-imflammatory
so maybe it help with specific joint inflammation, but idk
Exactly
does anyone have any exercises and warm ups for primarily arm aimer
I have some hand exercises if you want them!
yes please
Sorry for the late response.
Here are my Hand Exercises for Gamers. It's a follow-along routine that just takes five minutes of your time. You can use them even if you're not a gamer, they are also hand exercises for guitar, or hand exercises for women and men that have weak hands after e.g. surgery.
Personal one that helped me out a lot.
Another good one

Welcome to one of the first walk through videos I will be making more consistently for the gaming community. In this video I walk you through a series of stretches you can do after a gaming binge or after a couple of competitive games (CS:GO, Overwatch, League, Destiny, Fort-nite, PUBG, etc.)
...
Do whatever one works best for you!
"Itās key to keep the movement as fluid as possible" Why is this? I'd appreciate some elaboration on this
it means that you have to rotate the hands both smoothly and slowly
I see, thank you. I'd also like to know why that's recommended
- Doing too fast may injure your wrists
- Doing it slowly and smoothly will give you more control of the wrists so that when you are rotating you're not using any momentum to rotate the hand but purely your wrists. And also having more control over your wrists means that your wrists are more activated when you're doing the exercise, thanks to that you will receive the full benefits of the exercise which is warming up your wrists and make your wrists more flexible
Since I have been having a bit of wrist pain in certain movements, do I take a break from gaming or does it help strengthening?
depends what kind of pain, wouldnt hurt to take a break and then start a strengthening routine
Is it bad to tense up forearm while playing?
Im just gonna play very small amounts (without pain) and do the strengthening, I was recommended by a 1hp guy
Been losing motivation on the weekends to aim train ā feel like those 2 days are the only real time I get to game and do other things I donāt get to during the week due to work so I end up neglecting the aim training sessions. Any tips for this? Is this just a time management issue?
Time management issue
Only tip is to stop treating aim training like itās something you have to do rather than something you want to do.
Got it, will try that. Thanks for the help!
wish I could help more but honestly I think everything could be managed if you love doing it so try to make it something that brings you happiness or use your improvement to bring you happiness atleast. Also no problem!
Fully agreed. There's no point doing something that feels like it's a chore if it's not a mandatory chore set by your parents lol
should i stretch my hand before aim training, and not only that what if i don't see any improvements in my aim how to push myself so to speak to the next level and overcome that barrier and gain motivation
@quiet kettle we could have friendly competition
I'm always down for a bit of competing
And yes, stretching your hands correctly before aim training is a must
Yes there are
bit complex
there permitted here i think
^ doing it on a yoga ball but, ofc, you can do it standing up or sitting in your chair
100%
Iām down for A little friendly competition
@violet swan bet, I sent you a friend request
so i have this pain in the tendon in my thumb and i worry this is gonna become a recurring problem. I stretch regularly but it still is hurting. Should i maybe change grip? Because i do fingertip grip, and also my serving job may affect this too
Change grip and see how that works for you - comfort is key to aim training, so even if your scores are a bit worse at first, keep playing with that grip to build consistency, then you can focus on peacemaking
Pacemaking*
is your pain here? That would be where my hand/wrist hurts too
i have pain in the exact same area
Yeah
@eager moth @brittle mason I was told to stretch if it doesnt hurt a lot and also take a break from doing pc stuff with that hand for atleast a week and slowly start after (if the pain is gone, if not, see a doctor)
Yea probably a good idea
Does anybody else experience losing awareness of what your facial muscles are doing? I've recently noticed my jaw tends to drop and my head tends to tilt up when I'm in high-focus scenarios (e.g. when aim training or playing). I can't seem to find much about it online, and I was wondering if people have similar experiences?
Almost all the time for me, especially in tracking scenarios. I will find my tongue sticking out and/or my jaw drops/mouth open. Not sure why but it feels like it helps me concentrate more even though I do it unintentionally.
Hey guys, i was making a doc to help out somone with better food options and meals and such, and I realized the more I could add to this, the better, let me know what foods to add to this
https://docs.google.com/document/d/146MjItf0kl63tSzh8vfSWBY0XdpP_ttVOd8NQVZEO60/edit
Food listings This is a community project put together by Sky, contributes of food is general and commentary is personal research and experience from Sky Food will be labeled ā[Name] | [Calories per 100g] - [Carbohydrates per 100g] - [Protein per 100g] - [Fat per 100g] All food will be measured...
Oats under carbs imo.
All nuts are wonderful!
I really love adding walnuts to salads
Iāve been enjoying finding more ways to incorporate a more diverse meal situation into my diet
Also I just think the biggest relationship issues peopel agenda with food is
1.) believing carbs are heavily fattening/bad for you inherently
2.) refusing to have sugars or sweets
Iāve switched to being low-processed items as best as I can, making a lot of things homemade instead because theyāre cheaper from scratch and I can directly choose the ingredients that are put into them
It works better that way, but that just means I can have healthier sweets that honestly taste better than their store counterparts and cut out tons of the additives
Agave and honey are lifesavers
Right???
Oh?
Nice!
I want to make my own snack crackers at home
Just to see if baking my own goldfish or cheez-itz would be worth it lol
Who told you to stop for a week ? I'm having the same issue i'm scared now
a guy that also had some wrist issues in here called "Firt2000". Also, dont play with pain, probably a bad idea in most cases
yeah i'm really worried about it, it started today i played a bunch of static and now the part under my hand hurt i hope it doesn't happen again
Agave and honey are equally bad for you as granulated sugar
People fall fall for that trap a lot
ĀÆ_(ć)_/ĀÆ
@hollow rock Hey, for the Oats you labeled protein as carbs as well. Also might be useful to add the serving size being used to describe the nutritional info. I really like the document, itās helpful!
what is that doc?
this @thorny dew
fair, fair
also if ur gonna list stuff like honey and agave whatever u might as well put maple syrup
i dont know anyone who likes honey more than maple syrup
mhm
ye
carb source with actual nutrients š
ill be adding most of those under lean foods
ye well stuff like banana is kinda calorie dense
most are around 90-120 calories
but apples and basically every fruit and berry with a ton of fibre is goat for cutting
mhm mhm
also u might wanna have a section for drinks
liquid volume is great for both cutting and bulking
cuz u can have 2352345634567 calories or just 0
and feel full
smoothies w/ lots of berries and more tropical fruits are great
i always ahve like 2 bags of every berry or some fruit, lots of fiber and great nutrients
ill add list stuff rn
i gotta get my bulk meal in rn
chicken/rice/cheese/sauce oh boy guys
eat like 5 meals a day but one of em gotta be the big guy lmao
i had 2 eggs, 80g strip of bacon, and half an avocado on toast
and an apple
and coffee
good breakfasdt
niiiiiiiiiice
also weighting most things is 100 grams is just nice for the sheet because it gives a equal weight to everything but i make notes of less-dense and high-density foods
forgot to make my rice š
time to make a week's supply lmao
also also
turmeric in rice? goated
@silent osprey that sounds divine, hope you enjoyed it!

Is anyone running a ā3500 calorie diet that could share a meal plan with me? Cheers
if my mood is easily disrupted, should I stay away from coffee? I feel like it is making me to agitated sometimes. I drink 2 cups every day but considering quitting it lately. I have anxiety disorder too, so coffee might be affecting my mood quite a bit.
also, do you guys have any tips to improve mentality in general? I get frustrated way too easily if I have a bad day for example. I want to have stronger mentality than that but don't know how I can achieve that.
this kinda belongs here? i recently started streaming and i didnt even know i did this but EVERY single time im in a gunfight i move my jaw or tense my mouth/face or shoulders in some way. should i try to practice staying calm or has anyone else had any issue with tensing up?
like move my jaw open and closed evry time i click
Could my grip restrict me from playing at my max?
As long as youre not tensed up, you wont really feel massive perf cliffing. But most gaming mice really cant avoid you getting the big 3 of ergo disorder.
if u hold ur mouse like a normal person, no
people subconsciously adjusts their grip for whatever is going on
as long as ur mouse isnt dogshit ur fine
Does lasik works for progressives? I have both neg and cylindrical lens on both eyes.
Is this fingertip grip healthy? My middle finger is one the mouse wheel to for things like spamming jump and using abilities on click.
I feel like my aim is VERY inconsistent and I often get pain in my arm and hand, but unsure what's causing it.
Viper Mini
Skypad 2.0
High Sens
Apex Legends, Overwatch, Valorant
so yesterday when i was playing some kovaak, a side of my hand went numb and today i woke up and it's still numb
what do i do?
it's like the interior side of my forearm
almost all of it
Just donāt play until itās better. Also try some stretches and general mobility exercises to get your blood going
i think i'm going to see a doctor since it's been more than 8 hours
i don't want it to be a serious medical condition that i won't be able to heal if i don't go anytime sooner
wtfff
itās comfy LOL
U know, this grip kinda unusual... but if u like it - keep playing
that cannot be good for you long termš
I been awake for 17 hours do I eat something before I sleep or?
Whatās your sens
I have big ass hands and Iām able to use small mouse with no pain , only when using 20cm and higher is when I start having pain
100% go to a doc or even hospital
8h of numbness sounds serious
permanent nerve dmg is no joke i have a numb left finger/part of palm
You should also look into get a bigger skypad like the xl , that size looks to small
Around 32cm/360
I think this is 30x30cm
That is like tiny
Also are you only aiming with your wrist ?
Is your chair is high enough that your leg is at a 90 degree angle
And are you able to adjust your desk to stomach level
Mainly wrist and fingers, then a bit of arm
I will have to check that again when I am home, this is a pic of my setup:
I am unsure wether the mousepad should be closer to the edge or deeper in the table
Well you wanna have your forearm on your pad
But damn it really does look tiny
My mousepad is 49x42 and my smaller one is 42x33
When does it usually start?
I try, maybe the table is higher so it is causing pain in my forearm
It happens outside of gaming too. I wake up and I have pain in my arms/hands. Got it checked, they could see nothing wrong
Maybe I need hand excercises?
Even before?
Yup!
Up arm or forearm
My fingers just feel very weak, constant āslowā feeling in them
Forearm
Even when you donāt play the day before?
Yup! =[
The pain is very random times
idk, my mom said i shouldn't worry and said i would just lose time going to the hospital and it's maybe an iritation from my mousepad from rubbing my hand too much on it
which i think it's true
and also, that numbness is not like i don't feel anything, it's like a mid-way numbness, when you can feel when you pinch yourself and things like that
I had gone to 3 different doctors š
They cant explain it.
I do not work out sadly, dont have much time because of uni, so I am thinking of picking up hands excercises as a start
You might have rsi or something
i feel like that sometimes too, but only when i don't get enough sleep, for me so hand/forearm exercises help me get strength into my arms
Thats what I got checked for, a couple of different scans, and they were all normal
What times do you do them?
idk, when i have time or before i get to play on pc since i don't go to the gym and i don't have a strict program
i just do some hammer curls and wrist extensions with a dumbell
my shoulder has gone boom any advice? right shoulder hurts when i move my arm
maybe see a doctor or do some stretching ?
doctor seems like unnecessary spending rn only been lasting 2 days
but im messing around with my posture etc
chair height
My wrist hurted after playing too much kovaaks, what can I do? Are there any exercises where I can cool down?
yes
that's exactly what i have
so if i haven't gone to the doctor by now, can it be permanent or something ? @violet swan
define 'boom'
like hurts in a radius from the shoulder extending down my arm a small bit
i dont think anything's permanent.
everything, the world is constantly changing
yoo i woke up today and the symptoms are gone
it still feels a bit numb when i rub the side of my wrist with anything but it's like very sensitive skin or something
i still wouldnt go back to playing anytime soon, take 1-2 weeks off and start a strengthening routine (only if no numbness/tingling/loss of feeling isnt present)
if symptoms return go to a pt
and evaluate your posture from neck down, because the issues can originate from there
go to doctor take a break
ye, sure i won't play kovaak anymore for a couple of days or so, hopefully if i only play apex and only a couple hours a day + breaks i think it would be fine
ice ?
i stayed warm like i used a gel to massage the place and the i bandaged it and went to sleep
and that gel would make my arm feel like it was on fire
thats what everyone thinks, if it got to the point where you felt numbness its time to start seriously evaluating what caused it
sometimes a semi serious injury is the only wake up call
I can feel my left shoulder blade on my back itās not painful or anything but itās a very annoying feeling
Anyone know what it is?
i just did that and i have realized that i should give it a fix since my desk is higher than my chair and my posture is really bad
tips on reseting/keeping a sleep sched?
TURN UR PC OFF BEFORE A SET TIME NO MATTER WHAT
get rid of bullshit
can try eating less later into the night
so ur body just gets more tired
go outside in the mornings and get adequate sunlight
exercise and accomplish shit during the day so u can go to sleep feeling fulfilled
Im so addicted to gaming help
It feels like im afraid of losing my current skill and i want to keep grinding no matter what
hektik so knowledgeable š
@coral bolt if you hand hurts STOP PLAYING and wait till your hand doesnt hurt anymore
i thought nobody saw it felt quite embarrassed. thanks tho :>
i dont know if this is health related or no, but i noticed when im playing fps games, when i hit a good shot/flick or i did a good play, my heartbeat increases, but my hand becomes a lil shaky, and i feel like i get nervous (i can't exactly tell). it goes away for a good minute or two, but in games like valorant, if i perform good, my hand shakes, which makes my performance bad in the next round. is there a way to like control it?
It will go away with time don't mind it
I have a similar problem in my case it feels like a straight adrenaline rush and my arm tenses up and I start messing up sometimes if I use some meditation techniques that helps me stay calm or calm down faster also it hasnāt gone away for me Iāve played apex for about 1k hours and played overwatch in game for over 300 hours and other games.
I also have a problem where my arm literally trembles randomly while aim training it doesnāt happen every day it could be caffeine related so Iām about to quite caffeine tomorrow but itās very random and isnāt smoothness related because sometimes Iāll be tracking a target perfectly and just randomly I start shaking it could be small shakes or big but idk what to do about it. Iām going to talk to my doctor about it soon but this also happens when I do push-ups I start shaking itās not because Iām weak I can start shaking first push up when I can do around 30. I think caffeine is just enhancing my problem it exists but isnāt to bad normally.
does anyone know what i can do about it? My finger does it by itself š can't practice / play like that
your grip looks a bit too tense
I think it only looks that way because I have a small hand š
try a smaller mouse?
Actually, the mouse is not too big for me. I don't tremble every day, I think it's more because I practiced for so long yesterday. Are there any practices that won't happen?
or should I just practice less?
it looks too big, whats your hand size?
imo too big especially for fingertip grip
hmm
Has anyone read the health guide under resources?
that versace eros yessir
š
how do i optimize my life
1.) lose weight
2.) cut off people that dont value you
3.) sleep 8h+
i need to gain weight so ::)
im eating well but recently ive been losing my apetite
stick to a consistent eating schedule
consistent wake up and sleep times š±
Someone was talking about taking cold showers the other day, because it puts you under stress, and you can focus on enduring it kinda
do fish pills actually help with cognition ?
Does anyone have advice on how to improve at aiming with ADHD? I'm losing focus constantly, even with my meds. I can't keep my attention long enough to complete a single scenario. I just feel like I'll never be able to get good practice in.
why do i often play better on 7:30 hours of sleep instead of over 8
u probably autopilot less with more sleep
makes sense i literally zoned out for a whole routine
i literally cant get bored of kovaaks on less sleep
autopilot is good sometimes but u gotta be able to use ur brain other times
yea
the weather is really bad outside too rn so im getting sleepy
i feel like that much sleep is enough for me ig
Is handgrip strength a way to measure nervous system fatigue?
wrist excise maybe?
I got a new chair and now whenever I get up and stretch my hips crack. It's not painful but I'm worried if I should keep it?
what have u done?
try exercises 4-5-6 from this vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoedUZ4OpPY
Wrist pain is by far the MOST common complaint I get when I work with pros and gamers. And the first thing they often encounter online are resources telling them to rest, brace, just do stretches! Sorry, thatās not going to help in the LONG run. These are just methods for short-term relief. Iām Dr. Hwu, and Iām the esports injury doctor. Over th...
stop if theres pain or it gets worse, start with light load
my wrist cracks mostly come from the TFCC so hammer rotations help in my case a bit but just overall strengthening my forearms helped
what type of quick exercises would be good to do in between aim training/game sessions? would it just be anything that increases blood circulation
i like doing star jumps and pushups, then getting a dumbbell and use it to stretch out my arm and wrist
How does one build self confidence? Is it possible for someone with severe confidence issues to build confidence? Asking for a friend of course.
For me if I lose a bit of self confidence I find meditation gets rids of all negative thoughts so you can give positive ones. The most common issue I find with myself in the past and with other people in having lack of confidence is when we compare ourselves to others or have expectations too high at the beginning.
Is this good im 6ft
are we supposed to see your posture
or what u asking
Is it to high?
how could anyone ever tell from that picture
if you want posture advice take a photo from the side where your full body is visible blur out your face if needed
in the position you play
Lmfao
was he trolling
legs 90 deg. as you sit, table height maybe to a point where your arm is 90 degrees, all that. but then I'm a degen and sniff my monitor. so in the end its preference.
#resources the posture guide
I've been feeling pain in my shoulder recently thought it was because of my hard flicks but curious if it could be something more serious and today I just had a slight moment were my wrist felt cold/chilly like cold water was on it for like 30secs/1min
rest my guy
i happen to shake alot when i use my hand actively, i'm wondering if that's completely normal or if there is an underlying problem with that
every time or just sometimes?
could be essential tremor
maybe
do you drink stuff with Caffeine at all?
not at all, no
do you sleep enough?
5-8 hours
define 'using actively'
for example when i draw, or track a target. not so much when simply flicking
what food contains vitamin b12
meats, eggs, milk
i do eat alot of meat, occasionally eat stuff with eggs in them, i almost never drink milk directly
is that necesarrily a bad thing?
idk if that answers it properly
No not necessarily but it CAN be connected to liver or kidney disease
i hope it's not that
might want to get it checked just to be on the safe side
i probably will do
honestly u probably just suck at being smooth lol
as long as u have good baseline stuff (diet, sleep, mental etc), chances are u just need practice
alright, thanks!
will do
why is my grip naturally always like this was it from KPU usage because I cant claw at all lmao
this right here is my most comfortable grip
just unconventional
LOL u should see mine
like any other grip does not do this like I aim so much better with this weird shit
I have roughly 3k hours on kovaaks with just only KPU usage so Im guessing its that
same my grip is so weird and looks uncomfortable but is the only thing I feel comfortable and confident with
Most likely
like when others try my grip they cant do it lol
because it hurts
but I think in my growth period my hand shaped to the KPU
I guess even some pros have very odd grips
yeah some pros have the most odd grips
it literally just looks like mine without your pinky being sideways and all fucked up
LOLL
the WERID thing is that I need my pinky like that to create a gap in my palm on the right side because if I put my pinky down I start to hug my mouse with my palm
that is very different
I also aim sort of sideways
with this grip
I noticed that
same idk Iām very flicky with this grip
I feel very stable enough to flick every where
tactical fps favors grips that have stable verticality
if you have poor crosshair placement
I think
100%
because you can kinda react so much faster than others that have not as much range of motion vertically
then horizontally its a lot more difficult
honestly I might just be used to my grip but my horizontal and vert is good
I flick so much better vertically than horizontally
thanks for the reassurance Iāve only been using this for like 2ish years
Iāve only starting using this grip after playing more tac fps
Used to play claw then now I play this
genetics are different
Ngl this is true my vert flicks are very clean compared to my horizontal at times
fr
it could be bad for you
but for me I am able to do very stupid shit and get away with it
very bad things for the wrist
and my shit is still intact somehow
the one thing about the grip we use or the similarity's is that you sacrifice your left or right side
for me the left side is much much much harder
because when ur gripping like that going left means going vertically down a bit
Letās hope not because I really enjoy this grip lol, Also I donāt know I tend to try to do hand stretches +wrist like once a day so Iām hoping it will help. Honestly I cant tell which side Iām sacrificing most
I see
is it fine if my eyes are in the middle of my monitor
i have a really big monitor
yeh, preference. but not too close or you burn your eyes like i did, (one summer in highschool) from 20-20 to I-cant-see-you,
oka
should the length of my left and right arm be the same while playing
like
i put my keyboard closer to me
and my right arm
where i use my mouse
stretches out longer
idk
horrible at explaining stuff
tried to draw it
red circle is me
left hand keybaord
right mouse
obviously it doesnt curve like that but i hope its more understandable now
actually
ill try to explain
in a more simple way
i extend my right arm further than my left arm
should they both be equally extended
lmao
are you only doing this because theres no room on your desk?
well theres little space because of my monitor stand
but no
so thats a yes?
get a monitor arm lol
frees up so much space
yea i want to do that but idk which one to get
yeah i got a monitor arm to solve this tbh
whats the size of ur monitor
I have pain in my upper arm (mouse arm) and I think it's just full blown RSI at this point. I woke up with pain in that arm the other day and I can feel it start hurting minutes into playing a game. Anything I can do? (obviously, not going to play games)
It's this exact same area

Anyone else have these muscle issues/advice
Hey Iāve been playing PC for a few years now.
Iāve noticed for a while(1-2 years) that the meaty pad of muscle on the top of my forearm(the muscle close to the tendon that connects to the elbow) is quite stiff and tender. I use a lacrosse ball on it and holy hell it feels so good and kinda painful at the same time. Also for some reason the muscles of my palm that cover the area under my pinky to wrist has looked a little ābigger/puffier?ā On my right hand/mouse hand than my left hand. I actually feel like that pad of muscles under my pinky are really tight if thatās even possible.
Has anyone had this occur at all? Any advice?
Iāve been stretching regularly and using lacrosse balls. I just bought a wrist splint.
Iāve also noticed my grip strength is less than it used to be
Getting fatigued quickly when trying to do long gaming sessions, Iām toast after 2-3 hours even with breaks in between. Not enough sleep, water? Monitor too bright?
guys, i have no idea what's wrong with my right hand(or wrist). lately, i've been feeling numb on my right wrist and it also feels a bit ticklish? it's just hard to aim now because of it. does anyone knows any fix for it?
u could try some forearm strengthening w things like dead hangs and hammer curls
also that muscle is called the Brachialis :^)
I was a little confused because the muscles seems really tight and sore when massaging it, so wouldnāt working it out make it more tight ?
working it out makes blood rush it and can strengthen the area
it is also preventing injury in the future
lots of aches and soreness is caused from underuse or overuse
I just got back into aim training after a few months is there anything specific I should work on besides just the basic routine?.
how do u do this ?
I will have to try to get used to them now. Ty
I have wrist pain along my pinky side and when i rotate my wrist it cracks. Anyone know what to do, i've been doing the voltaic stretch routine
I always play with my 3D printed balisong knife
it also helps to warm up your wrist ig
should i drink only water for more performance? or coffee sometimes good aswell
Ay so ive been experiencing a lot of wrist pain lately. Been playing alot of aim trainers and val lately. Tried playing yesterday and basically couldnt, it hurt so bad lol. Used to play mc competitively, so i have the model D and used to have a weird ass mouse grip (2 fingers on left click clicking 18 times a second while wrist aiming, did it for years, hopefully i didnt damage my wrist lol). Pretty positive the model D is way too small for my hands, might need a new mouse, you think that would help or would it be something else?
coffee is fine if ur consuming sensible quantities and not letting it impact ur sleep quality (very common)
is it good to "force" myselfe to aimtrain every single day even if i feel tired, or i should take some days off if i feel like it?
When should you workout before/after your training routine?
I noticed recently I have wrist pain and when I track I now flick away from the enemy because of it, does wrist exercise fix this or should I take complete break from gaming for couple of weeks?
whenever honestly, i find myself working out before because no ones on early in the morning.
only water
coffee isnt too bad though, i havent seen enough evidence saying it hurts your aim.
definitely take days off. its good to take a day or here off to reset mentally
Should I have a day for aim training or is that a little excessive. I have 2 kids at home so my time feels like it's a little lacking, but I just wanna make sure I'm not messing my wrist up.
My mental is really poor. I constantly think it's kinda impossible sometimes in games, i havr an anger issue, and i feel reallt terrible when my buddies do way better than me. How would ome approach getting rid of such a toxic mentality
I think its important to remember that you cant break old habits in a day, I think that mentality is something that you built up over time for one reason or another and you. Slowly you chip away at habits and replace them with healthier new ones. I think that it might help to do something that will show improvement (maybe some aim train routine so you can visibly see improvement in the scores). And just keep reminding yourself that your getting better and that you cant expect to be insane over night. Just my 2 cents on it, hope it helps š
Thank you. It's weird how i know that but i seem to crumble at the fact that i can't get insane lol
hey guys is it normal to start seeing double
for no reason? no
i used to also get really angry at the game and what worked for me was playing alone, i wouldn't have to worry about impressing anybody, i didn't have to give it 100 every game, i would just improve in silence and be proud of what little improvement i made, the only flaw with this was once i was better than my friends i either i didnt wanna play with them anymore, so if you're a very social person, i wouldn't recommend this, otherwise it is definitely an option š
I see. My friends being so good is kinda why i hold myself to such a high standard lol
not double but astigmatism
like all the balls are blurry and theres like halos around them
Any tips on stoping my self from absolutely ruining my own mental I constantly bash my self when doing something incorrect while playing and I cant tell if maybe itās helping me or slowing just deteriorating my own self esteem.
definitely not ok to beat urself up abt mistakes, spend that energy into learning from them
Ive been trying really hard but it sucks because after losing so much games I feel like Iām just dragging others down with me because Iām not doing the best I feel like I could be doing. Do you have any tips on looking at loses a different way because when I go on massive L streaks I just feel like I lie to my self when I say itās just a learning curve
ok for 1 it is a learning curve, and 2 depending on the game u play id say look at ur replays and see what ur doing wrong bc if u lost u either did something wrong or u got team diff'd and it is usually the first one, watch a lot of good players that play the hero/agent/legend u play, pay attention to what they do and try your best to increment it into your games, not habits but useful tactics
and dont play to win, play to learn
I play Valorant only atm I thought I heard one day they were adding replays it would be extremely helpful if they did. I try to find a lot of good players to watch but usually I watch clips more than actual vods cause Iāve put this thought in my head that me watching them and seeing bad aim habits will cause me to get those bad aim habits the next time I play.
Thanks I will try my hardest to focus on improvement more then wins I think this might of stemmed from thinking people would think I was bad from deranking or losing a lot I feel like I let my friends down when I donāt improve
dont watch clips
watching someone's peak performance for 30-60 seconds wont really help you much
i think that'd help with motivation at most
Is a lower sens easier on the wrist? Ive been having a lot of wrist pains and it feels less responsive.
i play cs and tried to write everything down that comes in my mind when dying or winning a round
1 example was i read the bomb spot correct and expected the last enemy on the right place so i could kill him and defuse
when i die i not where i died and by who
if you have time compare your first person notes by looking in the demo (sadly not available for valorant) and see what you missed out that round
bandaid fix, take some time off and start a strengthening routine
Whats the bandaid fix?
you using a diff sens and hoping you wont get wrist pain
Oh okay ive been taking a break, i just want to prevent further problems so i was wondering if a low sens would help reduce wrist pains
it could if you just primarily aim with wrist
I have a questin
recently i bought a new mouse i went from the g402 to the superlight and i have an XL hand and sometimes when i play for an extended amount my arm hurts specifically my forearm idk if its an external issue and not related to the mouse but when I try to use my old mouse it is genuinely impossible to use since Ive gotten used to the light weight
do some forearm stretching and strengthening
what a pro
Hurt my elbow while playing baseball. Now elbow hurts when I aim train. This is bad.
I think you should temporarily stop aim training
What brain functions should you improve to get better at fps game?
Brain processing/memory/cognition
dont play baseball
two types of ppl
dont press so hard
pretty sure if ur health is fine then it could only be not enough blood flow maybe ur not sitting properly or positioning arm in a comfortable way
could try getting a kb with lighter switches lul
could also try training grip strength
some people take pre workout to make their lifts easier
i taking sleeping pills to make my lifts harder
we are not the same.
How to sleep faster
Did you mean to write that into google or
take pre workout
read book
Hey, I am getting weakness in my right arm when using it for my PC recently. I think I know why; I donāt use an arm rest for my desk because it is uncomfortable and my arm is floating, with my wrist and hand being the only thing planted on my desk. My arm is at a 45 degree angle, though I like sliding my chair so that my body is basically touching the desk as well which I canāt do with an armrest. Any recommendations on what I should fix?
Any recommendations for a decent posture corrector? Budget of like $50
none
bad posture is muscular imbalance and/or bad egonomics in most cases
get a chair that doesnt suck, and start exercising
posture correctors are just a bullshit scam unless you have some weird skeletal issue maybe
its not about fixing my back posture unfortunately. i do indeed have structural shoulder issues, im looking for one to keep it from rolling forward while gaming
any wrist warmup?
should consult with a doctor id assume
Hey guys in this walkthrough video I tell you how you can warm up your gaming hands and perform an exercise routine just before your gaming session to help you perform better and prevent injuries. I discuss the three major ways a SPECIFIC PHYSICAL warm-up helps achieve this. Our main goal is to warm-up the muscles you are utilizing most frequent...
Is your problem that you move your shoulders forward? if so you can try a posture corrector band even if that doesnt work they are usually only 20$ so worth a shot imo.
I would assume your arm is hard to move vertically due to friction/stickage since your arm is angled against the edge of your desk
alittle nothing that feels like its holding me back atleast
prob not holding you back but the edge of the table is putting pressure on your wrists and you might develop some posture issues sitting like that
that chair and desk is so far from optimal lol
ngl it does leave my wrist bruised.
Could you send something that is more optimal if you wouldn't mind ofc
is blue light filter on phones or windows night light effective at all
judging from ur experiences
either or
Zyzz is Proud brotha
it won't hurt your sleep that's for sure
Thats what i needed thanks
That means i can use it before i sleep right
Since i dont really know activities to do that would burn time to avoid blue light
yeah bluelight is said to mess up circadian rhytm and surpress some chmecial but im no expert
Aight thanks
Do you think the higher the strength of the night filter the more it is effective?
Or is it based on preference
soz no clue
Aight ty anyway
someone whos a doctor respond im 21 but feel physically like im 70-80 what drug do i need?
are there physios in this server
NEED TO ASK ABOUT WRIST WEAKNESS + SHOULDER IMPINGEMENT DM IF U CAN HELP š
Exercise probably
lmfao
tips on forcing yourself to take a break day?
pls
i see my sheet and it makes me wanna play
self control
cant afford gym, too expensive
going to doctor today hopefully its just strep throat and not something more serious
my front side of my sholder hurts [i mean the part close to collar bone(also i started to notice that 7-13 days after i start aim training)] and its on the hand i aim with. do u guys have any stretches or what to do in order to fix it?
I have the same sometimes because i sit the wrong way
U dont need a gyn to stay in shape?
ye you can do plenty of bodyweight stuff at home
ive also noticed my aim gets worse when i do an upper day compared to a lower day along with this
bodyweight is enough for general health
just do 30 pushups and 30 situps everyday for a week and i promise you will feel better
ofc mix other shit in too
or just go for a run
i wont even be able to walk afterwards stop trolling me
after 3 days you will
if your that weak
you need to work out
thats unhealthy
oke brudda imma try my best
pace yourself
if you cant do 30
do 10
then the next day 12
then the next 14
etc
set a goal though
i have to check if im like physically disabled or smth theres no way i cant even jog for 2 minutes without feeling like imma pass out
its cause your weak
or you just dont drink water
i drink like 2-3 liters a day
theres nothing wrong with being weak
u start to sound like an anime character cl
just start working out trust me
you will start feeling better
mentaly and physically
thats normal for people with shit cardio
^
just give it a go
nah yall just genetically superiour
dont push urself crazy hard, but give it some effort
no hope for me imma stick with the plan to get good in chemistry
bro your mindset
is just not good enough
half the battle isnt even physical
im just not good enough
you are though
everyone is
it just takes time
how much time have you spent on exercising during your life?
idk bruh like mostly non
then why are you saying its genetics lol
theres a genetic factor to everything yes but thats a defeatist mindset
start slow and build up from there
If you're a skinny guy w a slim build you obviously aren't gonna ever get like Arnold
But that doesn't mean u can't push yourself n become the best you u can be
Comparing doesn't do a whole lottery good n as a skinny guy myself genetics don't have a whole lot to do with anything imo
I want to start working out but should I take like 5 day break off playing games for hours or could I stay playing a lot and workout a lot even if my arms get really sore?
arnold was on copious PEDs, he's like the worst comparison for anyone natural
you can absolutely get big one day if you're skinny though
Yuh that is 100% true
But a lot of ppl look at famous bodybuilders n look at themselves then get disappointed
Like I'm skinny but when I did start noticing slight gains it doubled my motivation ur motivation has to be partly urself at end of day
weird quiestion, how much could being hungry affect my performance ingame
mostly energy levels and focus
Do you have tips on clearing foggy brain?
Personally no, as I'm not really experienced in brain fog matters
sadness.
unironically touching grass helps sometimes when brain feels foggy
probably something meditative about that for me
makes sense
its only natural. going outside will make anyone feel better.
it often happens to me in case of situations in the rankings in the different games to hold my breath. if I try to focus on not doing it, I lose focus on the game. I have a mediocre aim, and I have almost always made maximum ranks when I am cold with fever, I play much quieter when I am sick, how do you think I can solve it? i think this is causing me to shaky aim on valorant or occasionally on apex
Hey guys, so I am sure this question has been here many times already, but I would still love an answer, I am a 15 year old dude, summer is coming and I really want to lose weight throughout summer, cuz I'll have lots of free time for exercise etc. The issue is that I do know that exercise isn't the only thing that I need to do to lose weight, and like I am pretty trash overall with nutrition, calories etc. Could anyone please help me with like giving me a general view of what food I should definitely add to my daily basis and what I should just avoid, also some tips about which types of workout I should prioritize would be awesome as well, but I am here mostly to ask about nutrition cuz I know like 0 things about it.
you can go really deep into it and count every calorie you consume
but if you generally just eat whole foods prepared at home, you'll very likely end up in a calorie deficit if your current diet is comprised of processed shit foods
proteins (both animal and plant sources) are really good for overall feeling full and being less calorie dense
fats are very calorie dense, but theyre also very satiating, and they're very important for hormonal reasons
carbs from non-refined whole grains or from fruit and veg are really filling as theyre almost always in foods that are also high fibre
and fibre is great
carbs from refined foods usually lack this fibre, so are much less satiating
and increased insulin level results in the body storing more energy rather than expending it
picking X exercise to lose weight is kind of pointless, pick whatever you enjoy
if youre pushing hard enough, any exercise is going to be burning calories. picking the one you enjoy ensures you can do this consistently
tldr; eat whole foods that are home made or at least using real ingredients that arent refined as fuck. adequate protein and fats, and enough carbs to feel like you have energy. work out in whatever manner you actually enjoy and do it consistently
if that's not losing enough weight, start incorporating some more high volume foods, or just accept that feeling hungry for a little bit during the day isn't really that bad
I feel asleep then my aim has been decreasing ever since
Like 20% worse each day
Ik ppl shouldn't care about kovaaks scores but I think the steady decline is an issue
hii
should i stretch my hand when i'm done aim training
or should i stretch my hand when i'm done with all the playing games
Stretch before aim training? I
no, it's advised not to stretch before aim training. Increase ROM exercises are fine tho
do you know why I'm curious bc that's what I do
i think there are some wrist routine on the resources, i mostly just follow that
but i'm not sure if the stretching should be for the end of the day or after aim training
guys how to stop feeling tired all the time?
i went to bed at 11 yesterday and woke up at 8
eating now and then, not fixed, not exercising and stuff
feeling sleepy in 4 hours after i wake up and mood is really mid-low
oversleeping
hence i notice a huge game performance issues as well as aim
you mean take a break from comp ?
wait you said oversleeping
yeah
but i sleep around 7-8 hrs
always?
if i sleep 6 its rip instantly
idk all I can think of is maybe you're mental is bad atm or you just need alittle break
yea about mental
idk i play 2 comp OW matches and feel exhausted
no matter lose or win
Yeah prob mental fatigued
i went from 60-65% ashe accuracy to 45 and that literally devastated me lol
hitscan acc in general i mean
understandable
just take a break and try to reset mental or play with a really good mindset
yea well that makes sense
but the problem is that i can't do anything besides gaming atm
living in ukraine and i guess you know what that means
im trapped
maybe i hit my bad days too idk
im 16 and i know that 6h of sleep is enough for me BUT i have a really hard time waking up especially if i dont have too and idk what to do about that or should i increase that time
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FolmEm5DMTg i found this video for any guy who experiences same or some shoulder pain
In this video, I highlight some of the most effective exercises (strengthening & stretches) to address common shoulder pain issues with gaming. We begin with some key strengthening exercises which can help with your mouse control & follow that with some stretches helping you with recovery.
As usual, here are the timestamps.
These exercises als...
6 hours isnt enough
try and get 8 trust me
what does eating now and then mean?
also no exercise?
eating occasionally when I just wanna eat plus random food
no exercise = no physical activities
yea idk why youd not expect to be tired when u dont exercise and dont eat well
When im playing kovaaks for a long time the targets gets bigger in my head what is my problem?
who has the pic of bardoz lookin' shredded af
i either do 6 or 10 basically no inbetween
So, I've been looking into a good posture tips and everyone saying that my elbow should be at 90-110 degrees, I tried it and found out that this position is very uncomfortable for me. I used to have about 70 degrees angle with my elbow and I'm not having any pain of anything like that, should I still try to get used to the right posture?
Hello, i'm having troubles with my aim recently. Basically since the start of this week my aim got worse by a considerable amount on tracking (about 20% less in any task in aim lab), and a little less on static and dynamic dots tasks(about 10%). I love to push my self super hard but even after a week of constant grinding i can't reach my average again(I've played aim lab a lot at least 3 hours per day). I feel like there's something wrong in my mental approch. any tips to recover confidence in my aiming skills? thank you for help
mental I guess: anyone get really demotivated from work when the weather improves? I just can't get myself to do anything I don't enjoy, but can focus on aimtraining or movies or workouts or hanging out with friends for hours just fine
you can only focus on unenjoyable work or no focus at all?
You need to exercise
trust me
take a jog. or go on a walk even once a day you will feel so much better
Im always in fear panic choke mode lol
Any advice to break the habit of biting my nails
I got that habit too whenever Iām stressed
Or bored
At first I used nailpolish which stopped it for a bit cause I didnāt want to taste it
but then I just started to bite through it
What I do now is bite (crush?) the nail but not enough to fracture it.
Hard to explain but my teeth press against the nail but not with enough force to damage/break the nail
Itās hard habit to get out of for me but this atleast prevents me from damaging it
easiest way imo is to just stop playing for 4,5 days and just dont play any shooters where ur performance matters, personally when i run into something like this i just make that break and binge watch series or do something u enjoy that will clear ur mi d and and than i feel "fresh" and once i went from avging 40% under hs in pasu to a 30% higher highscore than last one on first day after the break
and cause for that could be ton of things like not eating/drinking water enough or not sleeping enough etc
thank's a lot. I guess that i'll go out more this week ahah
Does anyone know if taking an off day makes your performance bad?
it doesnt
it properly benifits you i play 2-3 times a week and still progress super well
just focus your training then it wont matter how long you play for, 20 mins of hyper focus on technique is much better than an hour of brainless aim training
I started waking up exhausted as fuck around a week ago.
I just can do nothing these days. Cant move my hands or legs, I am fog-minded as well. Every single day I wake up with a feeling that I havent slept at all while in fact I sleep my 8-9 hours consistently. I dont wake up midnight, I go to sleep at consistent hours (1-2am) and wake up at consistent hours (10-11am).
I eat 3-4 times per day: porridge or tea with sth on breakfast, soup for dinner and something like potato/rice with meat/fish on supper. I also eat some fruits during the day. I drink a lot of milk and water (tea only for breakfast). I dont drink any coffee or energy drinks. But I still wake up exhausted every day. My daily routine is exactly the same that it has been for last 2-3 years. How can I possibly fix this nasty condition?
how to get rid of wrist pain? i do the voltaic strech routine and i still feel pain in my palm and back hand
low blood pressure maybe?
ice is useless unless theres inflammation present
stretching is semi useless unless you do strengthening exercises with it, and if you only rest well that also achieves nothing
u gotta evaluate your posture and gaming setup too but try exercises 4-5-6 from this vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoedUZ4OpPY there wont be improvement unless you are consistent with them
Wrist pain is by far the MOST common complaint I get when I work with pros and gamers. And the first thing they often encounter online are resources telling them to rest, brace, just do stretches! Sorry, thatās not going to help in the LONG run. These are just methods for short-term relief. Iām Dr. Hwu, and Iām the esports injury doctor. Over th...

Trying to quit caffeine destroys my in-game performance, when will that stop? My diet and exercise habits are at an all time peak but cutting caffeine has still gutted me.
Pretty sure your body would love to wake up around sunrise just from evolutionary habits, but I used to have a coworker who was the āsleep all day, active all nightā type, he used blackout curtains and an alarm clock that emulated a sunrise. So if you set yourself up for it I guess any consistent time works? Thatās all I know about the subject
What do you mean exactly
When does the brain fog and loss of energy from caffeine withdrawal stop?
It seems like around 2 weeks for people who have used a high amount long term
only 1 day for me
remember you only have to do it once, otherwise you'll never leave the cycle
I was on day 10 and had to use it for an emergency work thing or I never would have clutched up irl
same for me
after 1 day its gone
or if i drink lots of water after it
Does anyone know wtf happened, I hit my funny bone in my elbow yesterday and today it hurts when I straighten my arm fully and put pressure on it
Thereās no bruising or swelling
hi, i wanna improve on my mental health, but i am having a hard time trusting myself, therefore having no confidence in myself, how di i fix that?
I would ask the health experts here, I'm not the one to give reliable advice on that sorry :D
when I move my neck in certain positions i start feeling really light headed and dizzy is this bad?
My thumb started to hurt whike gripping my mouse idk how thats happening since i dont use side buttons or anything im using a fk1-b btw
I dont grip my mouse tightly btw
mb you cut your fingernails too short? only other thing i can think of is gripping your mouse too hard
you could try grips to make surface softer for your fingers
^ I could vouch for grips they made my fingers hurt a lot less
Hitting your funny bone usually has no lasting effects, its just a sharp hot pain that fades after a while.
If you put pressure on your arm where is the pain starting exactly?
Only when i put pressure on the funny bone
It only happens at the funny bone no where else
Do you stretch at all? or put constant pressure on your elbow while gaming?
why do my wrist pop?
