I have a question regarding position while gaming, are your forearm ( mouse one ) pointing naturally inward or is it straight ?
15 pounds
oof ya idk if you want to start out trying to wrist curl a 15 pound weight lol
i last like 1-3 sec and i feel my arms is about to worn
Ok lol
But, eh, I might start going to my community gym
mostly comes down to comfort once you have good posture as long as you can repeat it with no discomfort and you have good posture its really up to you. I am not doctor so take everything i say with a grain of salt
if you are primary looking to build endurance for this climbing can be great for this
trur
@winter sand by the way do you think lift up with 15 pound dumbbells will improve my long head of the biceps tendon to build endurance?

do you care to build strength or just enderance?
if youre trying to build strength also no
but if youre trying to only build enderance then yes @desert fern
I’m trying to build endurance, due to my posture and issues, like my left arm starting to hurt after holding my arm by playing on the keyboard for hours
so 50/50 of the endurance and strength might be good mix ngl
I obviously notice my long head of the biceps tendon is issues
ans
and
i dont know what cause my right wrist
Today's video covers exercises for biceps tendonitis and other tendon injuries that occurs in the elbow region where the biceps muscle attaches. The biceps brachii muscle runs along the front of the arm and travels from the shoulder to elbow. At the elbow, the biceps brachii acts to bend (flex) the elbow and supinate the forearm.
Tendonitis an...
When I play the reactive scenario for 3 minutes, it starts hurting as if my wrist is about to get bombed
Interesting
Thanks for your help
Ah
i think it's about the radius
Interesting
do you do wrist stretches?
no
you could try doing stretches before aim training
true

😭 if i aim train for like 1-2 hr sessions daily should i stretch before and after or sum am i gonna get like carpal tunnel
I use an Oura ring, it's quite overkill but I've seen so many used Oura's available you can get one for cheap
dont know if imma go that far
as in like that too long 😭
Yeah stretch anyways, aim training or 'not
To me 2h sessions means I ain't focused and have failed to actually achieve anything, it's too long
Even if I wanna explore multiple categories I wanna stay under an hour of training, it's quite stressful on the tendons to actually push yourself for that long
mmm i see that makes sense
thanks man
will probably make some adjustments for the future
current supplement stack - thoughts?
Pretty close to what I'd recommend to most people, it's a good start
wdym by start 😭
Lol, ive been into nootropics for years so this seems quite a simple stack
7 noots you spread across 3 meals, that's no biggie
do i just stack teabags if i want more caffeine
stronger taste but gives more caffeine right
i dont drink coffee, only tea so
2 teabags is like 100mg of caffeine so
coffee makes me shake hella idk why
id assume its related to theanine even when i have the same amount of caffeine as in coffee
lmao
I’d add vitamin c if you don’t consume a good amount of fruit
Overall I’d recommend getting tested to find what you’re naturally low on and go from there
Vitamin D for example could also help with reaction time if a right amount is consumed
Though could slow it down if over dosed
I’d look into grape seed extract or anything that’s flavonoid related
And creatine is a 100% must if ur into supplements
i was on a multivitamin for about 6 months which was pretty extensive
Hope u drink hella water
That multivitamin is fairly good tbh
Good brand
Or they were before
They had a class action lawsuit held against them because they lied about some ingredients
but besides that, the brand itself is fairly good
Yeah seen
how to stop deathgripping, like how do i even start not doing it, when im conciousely not doing it, my scores are much worse than before
play easy tracking scenarios
ease up the tension gradually
watch score go up
enjoy
oops i didnt mean to reply to you lol my bad
Today I woke up and I have been feeling numbness in my right hand thumb 👍 what could be the reason??
Slept on it
Ask ChatGPT best doctor
I typed on "health" channel for a reason dawg

cocoa is really underrated
I don't mind it being addictive just need higher dose and energy drinks are not it for me
I'm used to being perma on low dose
can hit harder depending on the person
caffeine + l-theanine pills that are 2:1 are great for stopping the jitters but still make you wide awake
ty
this has been the goat for a decade
caffeine is for sure healthier
why is this
one if the most researched supplement, it's proven to improve brain function, hydrates your body
Had such problem 5 days ago and got an advice to do wrist stretching:
My wrist is so stiff and numb when aimtraining recently. Not pain, not tiredness. Feels like it's paralised or smth. Can hardly even feel pain if I hit the area around wrist on my right hand, unlike when I hit area the around wrist on my left hand.
Stretching didn't really help.
Today it got a bit worse, because now I can't feel my fingers on the right hand well... They're not pale. But it feels like blood is not coming to my fingers. Idk why.
Do I have to take a break from aimtrainings? And do I need to visit a doctor or it'll be okay if I just let my arm rest?
(my wrist always rests on the table, not in the air)
I'd chill for a bit
I have been aim training for a while now and seem to be seeing little improvement for how long i have been aim training, are there any supplements or techniques that can improve my rate of growth?
For some reason after 30-40 minutes of aim training my hand starts jittering, I usually stop and then play an fps game and my hand is fine but if I try to continue I still jitter
Exhaustion, you’re working ur muscles by tensing them when you aim train
It’s a good thing to be jittery after aim training
but I dont tense at all
That’s impossible
if you say so
but isnt 30 mins a short amount of time
You just don’t have the stamina yet
That’s why aim training is usually recommended after playing said game
And have a short warm up prior
I dont really like playing fps games
how should i warm up
Aim train after whatever you’re doing
There are warmup playlists that are around 5-10 minutes
do you have any that you recommend
U can even make them shorter at your own will
I don’t really warm up so I’ve got no clue
If you don’t play fps games you might not need to warm up
It’s usually warming up before queueing ranked in fps
though I won’t stop you from warming up if u want to
how do I like, not be tired.
I never feel that focused and I always have like a moment where Im super tired between 1 pm to 5 pm
That time period is also considered the glucose level spike period
Try to add a light meal in between to get the blood sugar up, it’s very common to get a drop in that time period
Except for that, could be sleep, dehydration or that you don’t do anything
idk I try to have good sleep hygene lol
other than that I feel like I just can't focus super well
Whats the different between the 100mg/200mg and 200mg/100mg
I know its diff but im asking about the effect it has
take notes of what works for you and where you're struggling. Iterate on what's good, fix yourself for mid term and long term goals. That's about the most efficient method
more caffeine means more alertness. More theanine means more relaxation
looks like kinda generic/filled with useless doses (like the CoQ10) what's the brand selling this ?
Id have to check in a bit, first thing I saw on amazon tbh

Is RedBull that bad for health?
oh yeah
like absolutly bad or just in big doses
You know any way to track my sleep quality which isnt like super expensive
If it's chronic it's bad, if it's high dose it's bad
Ultrahuman ring on the used market?
Is there anything similar like bracelette/watch type
Writing that in the middle of the night 🧙♂️
Mate you ask that every few weeks and we always give you the same advice. I read your messages alot in different chats in times you should be sleeping. youre not trying as far as i can see that. Nobody said its easy to fix something thats such a long term bad habit for you.
Maybe its time for you to look for a psychiatrist and psychotherapist, youre literally driving in circles for as long as i remember you in the chat. Time to change something up and be a strong individual
amazfit, but i hate watches at night lol
Ok thx for the info ill try to reduce my consumption as much as possible then
go for 1 every 4 or 5 days maybe
like a nice treat
Rn im at 2-4/week and 2 months ago i was at 2-3/day so im actually proud of the diminution but yeah not over yet!
tbh 2 per week sounds reasonable if you work out a lot, or work in the heat
Hmm
ok thanks for the infos, i now only drink some if im like really tired or before sport so it should be ok
Also, u have any other recommendation for product like this
i use Huel daily greens for the multivitamin
it has cordyceps in it tho, so if you're sensitive it might get you wired
Dang 60€ a month
havent been taking it daily i'll admit yeah
but tbh you wouldnt need multivitamins everyday in your life
Ah yes timezones are all the same
I’m already on contact with a doctor
It’s just medication after medication
Used to have a psychiatrist but he wasn’t great at all, same thing there as well it’s not like he was even trying to figure things out, "still feel bad? More medication."
Bro same thing in germany
They get a certificate to be a psychiatrist just to give u medication that wont help 99,9% of the time
They not trying to get to the root of the issue just meds meds meds
Like 60 to 85 an hour here euro btw
Exactly
Im si fkn sure theres cure for cancer aswell
but its j7st not paying enough for them to release it
Wouldn’t surprise me
and ppl who find cool solutions/medication that help die suddenly after it gets public
bro its so fkd up
I might just get an in lab sleep test
Can’t wait for it to come back as nothing and I just have terrible sleep for the rest of my life lmao
Literally had a perfect schedule for the longest time and did everything the best I could
I still haven’t been able to find what anti depressant is good for me and it’s been like 5 years now? I’m just tired of it all
The main reason I ask here multiple times is to get answers from other people with their experiences
Every body/brain is different
Everyone got different reasons for their problems
Like we are not the same, everyone is unique in some way
And this server is by no means a replacement for professional help
Even though psychiatrist just want to make money anyway
make it longer, dont get upset by setbacks, and look for other doctors who care about their profession. you will always find people everywhere in every field who prefer money over competence, being realistic isnt making you rich and they know that. it took me well over a year until i could objectively measure my wellbeing after just mere 6 months of a very stressfull time. now put yourself in contrast with years on end with problems. theres no quick fix and pill and everything is gone in an instant. it requires work, consistency, and trusting that with time comes progress. you already had (or have i dont know) a good schedule as you said, so stick to it my friend. theres no shame in taking a step back once in a while, and even feeling shit for a while is something normal
Is it normal that by only 2 tasks I start feeling fatigue/pain in the green/purple zone?
u new to aim train or nah
bro i have crazy wrist pain because i deathgrip after like 3/4 scens
now what if you dose something to counteract the jitters to smoothen out your stimulants
Ya like L-theanine would help with jitters but again all it would do is help you focus it won’t make you better mechanically you’ll be the same level of aim but more focused. Not saying it’s bad thing to do these things but stuff to keep in mind. Sleep tho is the most important thing no amount of caffeine, adderal Alfa gpc or even tyrosine will help if you arnt sleeping enough
Tbf this is all assuming you have good sleep and everything else dialed in could even run a glucose fructose stack with the caffeine an hr pre game to maximize glycogen levels
fix ur grip
or get a better mouse for ur grip
Has anybody had burning eyes when aim training I’ve already tried changing the colors to something darker does anybody have any tips that can help
yes, also sometimes i see my dot crosshair twice when focusing too hard
how do I fix shoulder lifting?? Which for me causes alot of pain but its involuntary.. I tried different postures and chair heights and nothing helped so far sadly.
this number can be fake
Cant you just put in any dpi for it to calculate that
proper elbow support is the answer
should I put my elbow on zee table then??- orr howww
Either table, arm chair, etc but it should rest on a surface when the shoulder is depressed/at rest
what do I do for if my elbows do come off the table? like during vertical movements and such??
UR TELLING ME I SHOULDA KEPT MY CHAIR ARMS ON 🥀💔💔
mine is pretty much always off the table
does anyone know why I might be feeling uncomfortable around my ears from my headset? been a problem for years now
u buy shitty headsets or ur head shaped weird
It could be heat tbh, happens when your headphone speakers are too close to your ear
making those 2 touch
and then boom you feel uncomfortable because of how warm it is
Pad material being a no match with your skin. I can't use fake leather pads for instance.
bad material or too hard of a clamping force. or the cups arent wide enough to sit without resting on the edge of your ears. or, have them on for too long. i have comfortable headphones but it still feels too much after too long of a session
anyone know how to improve fatigue endurance for fingertip gripstyle?
maybe like an hour or 2 they feel uncomfy
less tension, more endurance
Well i got glass mousepad and im using like no tension, thats like why i want the endurance to improve
spam reactive tracking for endurance
Ty i will look into that then, apreciate the help
just more practice will give u better endurance in general
is there any exercises that can help strengthening the ring finger? i feel like its too weak compared to the other hand when i push them together and also when im holding the mouse i feel like i cant hold it right cuz of it and it starts tingling whenever i put tension to control mouse
are these good?
First try not to put so much tension
Second, tingling when contracting the ring finger especially if it spreads to your wrist isn’t normal, maybe a sign of carpal tunnel (please ask physiotherapy or orthopedics)
Also, if you want strengthened ring fingers or grip strength overall just train it -> pause deadlifts, dead arm hangs and the general exercises that test your grip with your usual deadlift, pull-up, row, shrugs, farmer carries etc
I started a month ago barely bronze, almost gold complete now 🥳. BUT, a health road block hit 😅... I've worked on posture, correct chair height, finding a relaxed starting position and coming back to it focusing on tension control, comfortable grip, etc. Doing consistent research to try to keep from blowing out my wrist.
I'm doing RICE rn, playing after about an hour or less causes pain similar to doing a strenuous workout and lasts into the next. Maybe this is normal? But I used to be able to play for well ya know 8-14 hours 🥴...
29M, 45 cm/360 (is this the problem? I seem to play best at that sense), g502 hero mouse, eating spinach, omega 3 and a multivitamin. Been getting 6-7 hours of sleep 😔 I'll be working on the sleep for a while I guess...
No previous history of wrist pain.
I want ask the guys here what I should do to stay healthy, sooo any expert advice? Any advice is much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
how important is sleep for training?-
very
very important for anything performance related. sleep and diet is key.
my doctor suggests I take an ADHD test, however, My parents say they know I don't have ADHD because they have "seen other kids with it" and I don't act like them, which isn't how that works. Not sure how to convince them
Insufficient sleep can effect reaction time, accuracy, and decision-making. soooooo very
do you think you have adhd ?
its possible
I seen some symptoms I kinda have
and some people here WITH adhd have said its possible
what will change for you if you are diagnosed with it ?
Dont forget aim training is still TRAINING. Your body can compensate quite alot of overuse until he makes himself noticeable with pain. So no, pain while doing so, and pain into the next workout is not normal and should be avoided. Pain is in its first instance an alert system that something might happen. So please dont let „might happen“ change to „going to“ happen if you dont listen to it. change your training volume and intensity (doing less, more breaks) and wait for it to get strong enough to withstand your current training, youll get there again over time
the right medication? idk
been off and on a bunch
I used to be really depressed but recently I've had alot of issues just with fatigue and not being motivated
Thank you!
Hi guys
I have a very intense pain in my wrist when am aim training ( it starts usually in the 3 min mark ) especially when am playing fast target switching scenarios and trying to have fluidity and changing my grip to fingertip to gain maximum accuracy.
Any advices of how can I release tension in my arm?
I read that I should not train more than 1 hour and professional aimers can train up to 3 hours a day but I can't play more than 5 min without feelin immense pain.
Take a break for a week, do stretching routines and if nothing helps in a week see a doctor.
getting immense pain after 3 minutes is crazy
The pain was so awful I deleted aimlabs 4 months ago and I reinstalled it 4 days ago and am still having problems with my wrist ( I forget to say that the pain that starts after 3 min only when I do paced and fluidity scenarios like gridshot and other clicking scenarios that require fast flicks )
Maybe cus I have a skinny wrist
Any advice for the high tension when training? Or is it a normal thing that everyone is experiencing
high tension is unavoidable really. It’s more about managing when you use your tension and being aware of not overdoing it by spamming high tension scenarios for long periods of time. there’s a 1HP vid inside one of Matty’s videos talking about how he fixed his wrist problems that might help you
My work with 1HP's Dr. Hwu has been integral to me keeping up with the intensity of aim training competition. Top level aim training demands so much out of your wrist, so I needed to share this story.

my 100mg theanine pills come with 250mg "green tea extract" is it good to pop 2 pills if it has that or na
The sleep part varies from person to person
Varies a lot
I had a fucked up sleep schedule for months and some days slept 3hrs or less and I improved at stuff more than I did when I slept 8hrs at a normal time
Not everyone has the same experience though some people just can’t do shit without good sleep
There are outliers sure, its exceedingly rare for anyone to be well rested after 3-5 hours of sleep. but you can still be sleep deprived and improve just due to the time being put in.
Realistically you will perform worse if you dont sleep properly. Its just a fact
In my brawlhalla prime I played less than an hour every day sleep deprived and still managed to peak top150 eu
I improved the most during that time and tbh I still don’t know why
Hasn’t rly been the same since because I had to fix my sleep schedule for work stuff and I play worse if I’m actually not sleep deprived and feeling like shit
Is anything recommended on the packaging?
I have an issue with tracking, specifically moving right.
When I track to the left, its perfectly smooth. but the moment I start tracking right my hand starts jittering and shaking - even when i'm concious about my mouse grip, still start shaking really badly.
any way to fix this or am i fried
playing on an artisan hien, viper v3 pro, tiger ice v2 skates
everyone has that problem dont worry, it will get better with practice. if you slowly move your mouse left and right you will notice that the natural motion of going right with your hand always moves your mouse a little bit more into the pad whereas the left side doesnt. nothing you can fix with your grip its purely how your wrist moves in that motion. just have to learn how to properly adjust to a little more tension when going right
most important to me ngl
if i wake up to late or early i cant aim train let alone school, ranked, or sports
do you guys game while your back is on your chair? ive been playing for 5 years my back off my chair (leaned more into monitor) and my doctor figured out all my pain was from it, now that i have proper posture i cant aim for shit lol so i was wondering if anyone has any similar experiences
I need help my hands feel heavy
Actually I feel heavy and it feels like I can feel every small touch it’s super sharp
Like I’m not joking it hurts my hands feel so sharp even though they aren’t
They feel so heavy my typing is slow
You're probably suffering from a panic/anxiety attack
because i personally had these before
dont worry abt that guy in gen
hes a shit ragebaiter and person

Hey guys, after I play like 2-3 clicking scenarios I get like a weird "burn" feeling in my forearm? Should I stretch them when I start playing?
Is there any consensus on the best way to support your arm? I've always just had my arm free float, not supported by anything which was the least restrictive for my aim, but I found that once I started to aim train, it was putting a lot of strain on my shoulder supporting my arm like that. Should I be using my chair arm rests to support my arm instead? It seems restrictive for vertical movement with the arm
Okay I think I figured out the issue. My desk was too high, forcing me to shrug to keep my elbow high enough to prevent too much weight being put on my wrist (as that would make me unable to use my arm to aim). The shrugging was what was causing me pain, not having a lack of arm support
idk if this is a health thing but im trying to figure out how to fix my reaction time, i see a change but take too long to process it and react, is there anything i can do in my normal life to help that?
caffeine
sleeping enough
do processing speed based tasks
sleep AT LEAST
7-9 hours a night
drink enough water
make sure you are relaxed
and make sure to warm up
i really cant tell when or if im relaxed, everytime i think i am i find out im not, idek if im sitting right, warming up i always try to do, pretty sure i get 7-9 hours a night, and it the processing speed based tasks is what i think im too slow for that
how can you not tell when you're relaxed
😭
idek, i was trying to meditate before bed last night and for some reason every time i thought i was relaxed i was tensing a muscle or smth else
Consistent time to bed
After that, it's pretty minor. Eating well before going to bed, having sufficient magnesium in your daily intake, moderate to intense exercise in the day, low inflammation on rest days etc
no screens an hour before bedw
Don't eat or drink 2h before you go to bed
Go to sleep when you feel the wave of sleepiness
Even if it's before your bedtime or after that
Don't force yourself to sleep, it won't work. Just simply go to sleep when you feel sleepy
If you feel sleepy during the day then take a 30 min nap
I've been doing that for over a month and feel amazing
Ok thank you guys
Does anyone know why my left is bigger than my right arm
Ahahahahahah I don't know bro ask a doctor
Tf you laughing for
U are overthinking it that's why I am laughing dude
No like I’m being fr when I flex my left arm is way bigger than my right
I’m genuinely concerned
Huh
Are u here for improving ur aim or nah
It's normal
Btw muscle imbalances are normal in humans if that's what ur asking
i am noticing i am starting to 'hover' my mouse arm which causes my shoulder to get a bit sore after a while. Should i refrain from doing this and is it bad technique or is it just that my shoulder needs to get used to aiming with my whole arm instead of just my wrist/ small part of my arm?
I am starting to hover most likely because i have a felt pad and when not hovering i cannot make smooth nor fast up and down motions due to the friction
muscle imbalances etc are normal and sometimes the muscles are inserted differently on each side of your body. especially if you dont train/workout the imbalances can be more noticeable
with consistent exercise the bodyparts usually get pretty close to the same size as eachother besides from how they look due to the insertions. But yes completely normal
got rid of it ty @last flower
Ty sini
Thats normal my left arm is slightly stronger than my right even tho i workout almost daily
Is there any reason to get magnesium glycinate
What do cold showers do?
Increase your adrenaline and help you focus. I suggest taking a cold shower (as cold as you can) for 5 minutes before hopping on a game/aimtrainer - huge difference
Don't forget to warm up your arms after that
but also they kill your gains if you do them too close to workouts
Yep, post workout shower should be warm
It's called hypochondria
@arctic moat
The aimbreast games
jorkin
it helped a lot with my stress during the school year but could be placebo
still worked though 🤷♂️
is it normal to a bit of a hand ache after doing the 1.5 hour training thing?
only started this yesterday
You don’t have stamina yet, so yes
When I was new I was already insanely well trained so I never got any pain or any tiredness. All I got was a forearm pump because of over tensing
Tensing your forearm can quite often lead to mild aching in your wrists/fingers
i do notice i grip the mouse very hard but im trying to fix it
ty :)
just wanted to make sure it wasnt like bad
is it normal that my left shoulder feels really sore after i play for a long time without stop
Has anyone else ever experienced pain in their shoulder blade? I’ve had pain in my right shoulder blade for about a year now, specifically in the upper part. I aim with my right arm like most people, and for the last three months it’s been getting worse. I’m really struggling to play deathmatches and do aim training because of it. The pain makes me tilt hard in-game since I can’t perform well.
I’ve tried stretching with some videos I found online, but I’m not sure if I’m doing the right thing. I really just want to get rid of this stiffness and pain so I can play normally again.
and the pain even goes in my shoulder so its really annoying to deal with
Weird question but do you think your shoulder blade is in a weird position? or something?
i dont think so i asked my brother to look at both of them but he's pretty sure they are normal c:
i played for 2 years in a really bad posture and when i started to feel pain i adjusted my posture very well but i still have this pain that makes me want to dont play more
ah and my right shoulder is clicky as fuck it makes a sound every time i move it like in a circular motion but its not painful i saw some videos saying that its ok if it doesnt directly make the pain
but idk more than streching and making the shoulder more strong with weights idk what i should do tbh
nope im dealing with the same shit, lwky hurts so bad rn im thinmkin ab quittin aim training ;c, ive tried lowky everything and it hurts so ggs i guess
go to a pt?
@warm tree reduce training intensity and volume, maybe even training frequency. You both are definitely not resilient enough for your current training program and arent able to recover properly
nah man, I think I might be donezo, I gotta get a job twin </3...
U can balance work, school, gym and gaming all at once
Why rule one out
Unless it’s what u actually want to do
I mean, true but also kinda wanting to go out and socialize a lot more now- Also competitive games are just not it so I dont have motivation to even aim train atm 💔 I wish I did tho tbh~
I have a pain only in my right shoulder a little bit towards the back side whenever I sit in a bad position I assume? it gets really annoying and sometimes it happens really quick even just a few minutes of sitting down
I think I would say its the shoulder blade, I never really paid attention to it
I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask about this, but it is related to health so. After a few weeks of aim training, I've noticed that the sort of bump where my wrist meets my palm on the side of my hand opposite my thumb has been getting really chaffed, and it's not getting better over time. Is this something that one of those gloves would help with? Or is it an issue with the way I hold my mouse?
in the last 2 months i played like 10 hours i would like to play more but it hurts .-.
i have like a specific point that if i press in the shoulder blade area it hurts
like a node idk how to explain it
10 hours playtime in that span of time is highly unlikely to be the cause of your pain and more the tipping point. you should check elsewhere lifestyle wise why it may start to hurt. started gym and youre overdoing it? the opposite, doing nothing? Stress, bad sleep, bad diet, etc. Etc.
like i said i had a bad posture for 2 years
so its a thing that came from that
probably my shoulders became rounded
Define bad posture in your case. just because youre sittint slouched may not be a reason to be in pain
idk nerd neck elbows on desk with all the arms on the desk making my shoulders rounded
i saw a lot of videos saying that i probably have rounded shoulders that makes pain in the upper traps
cause i saw many videos saying it mostly comes from bad posture while sitting so
ig that's the issue i mean i hope cause at least i know what i have
Bad posture by definition is more like : any posture for a prolonged time without changing it frequently. Your body craves variety, so if you can agree that this variety was lacking for a long time you have a good hypothesis to test yourself. Meaning you should look up some excercises for your area of pain and start doing them for some time
im doing that its been like a week i hope it gets better
@marsh latch i like have this knot u think a massage can help?
or its not good for it?
stay consistent and keep challenging yourself is all i can advise you too. year long bad habits wont fix itself over a few weeks you gotta put in time
you can try, tho "knots" arent really any cause of pain and more a random thing you notice because you actively searched that area because you have pain there. most likely its not a knot at all and just a muscle you crossed over while palpating that area
how to relax your arms after strength training so that it is possible to train aim? in strength training almost all hands and forearms are used, after that it is impossible to aim, movements are jerky and not smooth. any adivce?
of course I do stretching but it doesn't help
dont aim train after a workout or do it before if you have the time for it. a meal between strength and aim training can help too
Has anyone seen improvement with their endurance in aim training from following rice bucket exercises?
havent done that myself with the bucket, but having more strength totally helps your endurance. so yes
Yeah man, makes sense
not sure why but my left arm a little below the wrist theres like a pain near or on a vein
if the vein is relatively big, like it is above the surface of the skin, it could just be inflamed from you rubbing it against the mousepad. is the vein under or above the skin?
ice would help & tylenol would help, but it could slow down your strength training
would working out before aim training but not super close help with scores?
honestly wasn't really sure, it went away. it happens every once in awhile I think my arm might've been pressed against the desk too hard or something, it was my left hand
left arm lol
Does anyone have any tips for mitigating wrist pain when aim training - i'm kind of suffering from RMI induced carpal tunnel - it started when I used to work out then disappeared until I started aim training
I wear a wrist brace when not aim training (using pc for other stuff/general life) and do my respective physio exercises
It's forced me to use my arm more which has oddly increased my precision - but I've been a wrist aimer my whole life
my speed really suffers tho
Ong you might have to give it up 😭
it was detrimental for me
So I just take a longer break between it?
yeah or aim train first
I have back pain in this part, how do i fix that? Just dont sit at my table for X amout of time? It started recently, maybe a week or even less.
Bad chair?
Yes its bad lol
I mean it broke, like it leans back
So its basically no back support ig
And only other chairs i have are the normal house chairs so idk
I can save up to but a chair but that will take like a month or more, i want a fix that can help me until then
ig stand up
I cant do that if i want to play anything sadly
imo get up every hour for a few minutes and stretch your back
my last chair gave me the same back pain and that relieved it slightly
Alright i will try that, should i limit my time on the game or soemthing? The problem is i also use my pc for other stuff like studing so its messed up sometimes. I will try to fix it
should be fine as long as you take breaks
alright i will repost back 🫡
Weird question, but can aim training cause vertigo?
No
Its usually a symptom of lacking sleep, dehydration, not eating, sounds and or (eye strain)
Aim training is most likely to cause eye strain which shouldn’t be an issue so long you don’t overdo it
There are so many other factors that can contribute vertigo, that I wouldn’t even look at aim training as an example
Mostly confused as motion sickness
Shit, I've had vertigo (Confirmed by a doctor) for 3 days now, it's really bad but the only thing I've done differently was recently start aim training seriously, 1-2 hours a day for the past week
Always have to look at the life fundamentals first
Hey guys i have a question should my ellbow be on my arm rest or should it be floating off my desk
dont use arm rests
why not
Your arm should be on the mousepad
really?
but i feel like
if i do that
i cant really move my arm as much
to like do wider flicks
Then your mousepad isnt kompatible with your skin
You need absleeve or different pad
but why should my entire arm be on the mousepad
cause i usually
put my ellbow on my arm rest
and then like
my forearm
on the pad yk
it feels more stable that way for me
Its best to use your whole arm to aim, If you Put your elbow on a Rest it locks it in place wich is bad
Yo guys i need help about mouse grip so i use wierd grip pincered claw where only finger tips and underknuckle of my pinky touch the mouse and my wrist is slightly rotated outwards so left side of my palm isnt touching mousepad i want to switch to full claw grip but my wrist hurts after hour or so of normal valorant gameplay i have 17x8 hand and currently using g995 its a superlight copy just a millimetre smaller in all dimensions should i switch to smaller mice?
Any way of dealing with nausea when aim training, especially with tracking?
why do you wanna switch
Grip itrelf isnt stable enough it has great finger mobility but u tens up a bit and ur aim looks like Parkinson
any recommendations on how to deal with hand pain while aim training, it always hurts whenever i aim train
is this a healthy amount to play or should i try to limit myself a bit? (i do have wrist pain buts its not horrible)
Hello everyone!
I am 35 years old and from San Francisco, USA
I want to meet some new friends here and improve my knowledge
I like to chat with people of the same age, I am 35 years old.
I mainly want to understand the customs and preferences of various countries
Feel free to send me a private message at any time, let's keep in touch!
do yoga no joke
hi what tools do people use to keep tracking of their nutrition/macros
this is normal, unless this is like THIS week only then that's kinda crazy
no its about exactly 2 weeks i just hit 15 days on my streak after a short vacation
doesn't look crazy to me I mean thats like 2.6 hrs a day for 14 days
this is terrible
my dad is 78 and had pain in the same area was awful 4 him
meds, physio and a massage doesnt help
i have 81 - stop while u can the wrist pain is detrimentasl long term
So what do i do? Just buy a better chair and dont play until then?
i made a mistake when i wrote - i mean DOES help - but doesnt solve the issue
better chair for sure - have you been to the doctor?
does it extend to the buttocks or is it strictly lower back?
No, this is a problem for maybe a week or so, i just thought i would ask for fixes here
Its just lower back
Trash
i'd google some posture videos
basically just rolling your shoulders back and having ur back straight
imagine pinching something between your shoulderblades
4h+ like i dont know exacly, i use my pc for school too so ye
Ye i will try it, my posture is trash so thats for sure something i can work on
to avoid the possibility of a herniated disk or something of the sort i'd go to the doctor - but if you're in the US or healthcare is costly you can google physio exercises which I'd recommend doing first
- better chair
if it doesn't improve in a week or two i'd take a visit to your ortho
Im not in the us so i can go to the doctor, im just lowkey scared she will tell me i have to start spending like no time on the pc.
Even tho ik thats the problem lol
so long as u tell them everything they can help u
that u for example have no intention to stop using your pc
don't agree to something unreasonable - like saying u wont use ur pc then using it anyways that wont help either of you
help them help you and tell them you will not stop doing XYZ but need help mitigating further pain/helping existing pain
Youre right, thanks for the help. I will repost back 🫡

Fixing my degenerative tendon has been so nice its been around 1 5 months of it not being bad anymore. I had it for 3 years and it really affected my flicking and I just realized because of it I never actually flick in games because of the tendon problem. Now i have to really learn to flick
Hello, I don't know if it's related to health but I have a question,
I play Valorant and I tried to do 30 bots in hard trying 1 eye open left and right to see which eye is more dominant, I have been an aimer for 4 years now, and never noticed that when I close my left eye, I see with my right eye, makes sense.. when a bot spawns on the right side my brain doesn't see it or process it, i tried the same with the other eye, right eye close, left eye open, when a bot spawns on the left side, my brain doesn't see it
There is an other thing that is probably more evident to talk about, when a target is far and I'm flicking towards it, my eyes start flickering, like I lose track of where I'm going, I'm playing on a 240hz monitor
I have that too bro like flickering eyes. And all I do is just to relax my eyes and not focus too much like semi relax semi focus
And use your peripheral too
im getting a really discomfort pain in the circled area in my mouse arm, for context i enjoy playing with my elbow off the table just by a little bit, i have my arms at around 110 degrees and im really comfortable but the pain starts after few hours of playing and stays for the rest of the day.
bring your stomach closer to the table's edge
you're exerting pressure for your arm to stay on the table
have the shoulder closer to the resting surface of the elbow/arm if possible
my stomach literally hits the desk, and when i fully put my arm on the desk i just dont like it and i cant aim or feel comfy as when its off by a lil bit. i think ill just buy a elbow rest and see if it helps it
are your pinky and ring fingers numb?
if it is its cubital tunnel
no just a lil tingly more than the rest
ty
could be tricep tendonitis, i have it and sometimes get pain there
then i mightve made it worse while at the gym even tho i really didnt do any heavy weight on it
Hello. Last night was in a drunk session playing some chill hunt. Games were good and wrist was fine. Today morning after waking up, I am unable to move my wrist and it's swollen and hurts a lot. Basically for a lack of better word, f**ked. Haven't gone to doc yet. But any suggestions?
I've recently been diagnosed with diabetes type 1 and I'm wondering if it's still possible to improve in Kovaaks? Because I've recently been shaky after being in the hospital for 2 weeks and that shakiness started after I got wrote out of the hospital, so I'm wondering if it maybe is a side effect from the diabetes or because of the 2 weeks break without Kovaaks?
Could be both, and of course you can still improve
It’s a setback for sure, but coming back stronger is what matters
I also suffer from a heart disease called HCM and hyperthyroidism
my fingers sweat a shit ton when i'm aim training
is there a way to fix
mainly middle finger
idk, cool your room?
what if i can't
not much else, stay hydrated, use antiperspirants. sweating comes from your body being hot, so the first step is to not be hot
you can get a small desk fan for like 5 bucks
thats Not gonna do anything tho
it'll help if moneys an object
I've been experiencing some shakiness in my whole arm upon horizontal and vertical wrist movements almost like stutters any advice? been trying SYW playlists which hasnt helped very much.
Do you tense your arm somehow during the scenario?
no
im completely calm but as soon as i move my wrist my arm begins to shake
Could be a weak wrist not sure tho
so training my forearms and wrist?
You could try and look if it helps
My back hurts even if my posture is ok
Is trying to fix posture a little painful when you start fixing it?
Yes
Depends on what kind of pain it is
You’re meant to feel slight fatigue in your back when you actively try to fix posture
Wrist curls and extensions will do a great job of strengthening the area. Therabars are really good for finger, wrist and forearm strength and rehab. 1HP on YouTube is a good resource for additional exercises and stretches
Appreciate it bro
jefferson squats
Major discomfort in first joint of the ring finger when aim training, any advice?
show grip
kinda like a claw grip, cant take a clear picture
I know grip is just whatever is confortable, but I feel like my grip is holding me back. My pinky is in the worst posistion ever, and it got there after I forgot how to hold a mouse. If I change my grip to one where my pinky hold the mouse it hurts so much. Is my mouse just not good for my hand, or is my pinky royalty and thinks its picking up a cup of tea?
how do you forget to hold a mouse? dude, just grab it and keep grinding. you can even use your pinky as a brake to help with stopping movements if you learn and try it enough. your fingers (in this case your pinky) hurt because you hold it to tightly
If I wish how I forgot how to hold my mouse I would have maybe not done it??? My pinky hurst, because the posistion of my pinky while holding a mouse hurts, it makes me also not able to move my hand at all. My shit just shuts off.
long term bad habits of grabbing your mouse like a stick of salami you want to suffocate. you did not forget to hold your mouse man, please dont get down into that rabbit hole and overanalyze everything, its just downhill from there trust me. pain is not okay and shows you overdone it for (probably) longer period of time. everything you can do now is take a step back, let your hand rest, and work on getting a stronger hand by looking for strengthening excercises for your hand so it does not happen again in the future 🙂
I hope it works, thank you
consistency and progression is key for exercises to improve your resilience. its probably not something you will fix in a few weeks if it took months or years to develop that kind of pain
Instead of fixing the pain, I have allways adjusted my hands to keep moving to different grips. But I started practicing aiming again, and then it all hit like a truck
be positive about it, changing your grip meant shifting the load to different muscles who have to perform that movement. you probably improved your overall strength of your hands just because of that short term quick fix. now with more load to recover from aim training, it just shows its just not enough resilience yet you gained. best bet now is to be more frequent and specific with excercises
Do you have any routines to recommend? I have been playing visco's benchmark for a week now, and I improved my scores a bunch, but I have gone already deeb into my rabbit hole of settings. So if I am honest I currently doubt everything that I do, and its so frustrating that I litterly quit the firsy minute I try to play the game I am good at
I have had so many issues in the last months that I geniutly dont know what I am doing is right
Even with my hours of research, hitting high ranks and being able to pick up a game and become good so quick, I still feel like everything is terrible now.
welcome in that rabbit hole of self improvement combined with not being happy with your pace of progress because your ego is too high 😄
It is indeed, and I hate it like hell
I just want to have fun playing a game and enjoy what I do, and be happy with my performance
basic exercises like wrist curls, extensions, ulnar and radial deviation are a good start. with dumbells or resistance bands for example, youtube is your best friends in that case
I will go check it out and see what helps
one excercise per movement plane is enough. so one for each example i told. rest is actually doing them regular and progressing in them
Is pushing my self to hit new scores good? Cause I fall into the rabbit hole of being able to hit new high scores, but I feel like it just me trying to boost my progression when in truth it is slowing me down
What do you mean by movement plane? Like the wrist and ulnar for example?
yes
Got it
you can do that, improvement is improvment if your technique is good. just keep in mind your arm has to recover from all that grinding
I dont think playing kovaaks for 5 hours is very healthy then
Are there any opticians/eye doctors around?
I'm debating whether I should stick with glasses or go with contacts. I got contacts a few days ago, but I can barely read my monitor with them.. not sure if this is part of the adjustment period or the eye doctor I went to just didn't do a good job w/ the prescription. I asked a bunch of questions but he seemed really dismissive.
I've been having a lot of trouble focusing on targets, and my eyes in general, while gaming and I want some advice from someone who actually understands my use-case
Do you recommend a certain time amount to spend every day? Cause I can grind for 4 to 5 hours hitting scores, but I don't think this is good
it can be totally fine, once your arm is strong enough for that amount of time and your daily routine is good enough for you to recover from it for the next time. so with your context of pain for now, nah its not very healthy right now and probably the best bet why that pain developed again in the first place
it all depends on how much you want to, and how much your hands can handle. you have to try it out tbh. 5 hours seems too much for now. you can start and take it like a gym session, so anyhting between 30 minutes or two hours can be good enough for now
It also depends how much I push my self. Today I tried to beat someone who had 10% higher scores then me. I pushed myself so hard that I got some higher scores then him, but it compleetly broke me afterwords. Thats why I am here now 🥲
I think I should start at 30 and see how my mussles feel. I am very skinny, so I have not a lot to work with
work your way up. people who are jogging get the 10% rule recommended all the time. each week or two you increase your time by 10% if your body could handle the previous week. it keeps in check with progression and recoverability in a very simple way
it should not take a few days to get used to it if you didnt have that problem with your glasses once you got them
So I should try the 10% rule, and look for a scenario for every plane in my arm. But first I need to take a break and recover. Then after I recoverd I should switch grips, cause this one aint it.
not aim training scenarios, i mean literal strenghtening exercises. but yeah thats a good plan to start with 😄
Got it, I have some weights laying around
exercise has to be challenging and pain free. worst case scenario pain free as possible while being challenging. the exercise itself should not exacerbate the pain after doing them, and if they do should be gone in a few hours. worst case would be still having pain at the next day
So if text is blurry after putting contacts in, even if it's first time wearing them, it means the prescription is off?
So no pushing myself to mussle pain is the big thing
yes of course, they are there to help you look better. are your eyes red, swollen or teary? your eyes might not like the fluid of them, so an alternative might be better
yes. pain is a warning signal in its first instance, you should listen to it. you wouldnt put your hand on a hot oven and keep it on there either
No, none of those. I can see better for things that aren't right in front of me, but ik my old glasses are out of date as well
new ones aren't in yet, idk how they'll do
issue is I don't really know exactly how it's supposed to look, I've had bad eyesight for so long and my previous glasses were better, but idk if they were correct?
dont worry, majority of people are idiots in that case. myself included in some cases even tho i should know it better. being an idiot is human 😄
because you already question your lenses it should be time to make an appointment and discuss it with your doctor. after all he should know more about you than we do ^^
Gues thats what makes us human yh
totally, we learn better from mistakes (sadly)
I just got finished spending almost 1k between all the exams, new eyeglasses and these contacts, but like I said the doctor seemed dismissive of my questions/concerns and I'm sitting here not sure if I just got scammed or something.
It's a small town optician/doctor. I don't have the money available to just go get a second opinion if everything is ok and I'm just being paranoid
fucking hell, im glad we have a somewhat working healthcare system in that case
yea, i live in the USA. It's fucking garbage
that's why I really want to speak to an optician, even if it's just a few questions
still time to go to that doctor and confront him tho. i mean you can still give it some time and look if it changes. but then you just wait longer with the same outcome if nothing happens
before I go and spend a significant amount of money getting a second opinion
Learned this one the hard way some time ago
I don't even know what exactly I should be looking for in an optician, like if I should be looking to find one with a specific machine for testing or if the one where they just flip lenses and ask if it's better or worse is ok
arent there any shops around that sell glasses that do some free checkup? we have that here everywhere, most of them are learned opticians and you can just juggle some questions
cus that's all he did. Flipped a few lenses, asked me if better or worse, then said cool you're done after a few flips even though I was trying to tell him it still wasn't really good, just better than blind
and he basically just answered everything I said with no worries, that's normal
im just short sighted and have no big medical eye condition, "flipping lenses" was enough for me
not that I know of? How would i even find any, because yea, I was charged $200 for the eye exam he gave me that lasted all of 3 minutes
it took about 15 minutes until he was finished with "flipping lenses" tho, 3 minutes seems a little bit of, especially with all those price tags
i dunno, they advertise with free eye sight checks here in hopes you buy glasses or contacts there
200 for an eye sight exam is wild, I paid like 20
i got it for free
@marsh latch I switched mouse grips today, and my movement in game is less, my tracking and target switching never felt better. I indeed notice that my pinky is very week. My first 30 minuts on my new grib, no warm up or kovaaks, was good, but it started to hurt a whole lot. Then after I took a break it felt much better. My pinky was also gripping my mouse to much. which made the pain worse. Further back when I ran this grib (my original grib with no weird pinky) I eventuely placed 2 grips on the place my ring and pinky gets place. This grib for my pinke (only 2 mm thick) made my pinky sometimes spass out, like just random shaking, also because I was gripping to hard. I removed the grib tape on that part, and it started feeling way more natural for my hands. Still looking into propor mussle training, and also have refused to play kovaaks or any form of competitiveness just to take the time to heal my current injuries. Thank you for helping me out, and sorry if I was not my self yesterday, I have some issues that got the best from me. Again thank you so much
how long do i stop playing when my arm hurt? i waited a day and it still hurts after 10 min
Depends on what causes the pain
i played a lot couple days ago and ever since then it hurts after like 10 min of playing
I take a medicine for ADHD.
It would be make me better at aim?
And Shouldn't I take it for gaming?
I'm scared to it make me can't play well without medicine.
anyone ever get something like butterflies in their stomach or anxiety maybe when thinking about how much time you have left in the scenario and trying to get a high score. i have 115 hours in kovaaks and first got it in 2020 and ive struggled with this feeling ever since i got it and i dont know why
its like in the final 30 sec i start to think about trying to be as accurate as i can, and if i start messing up then i start getting that feeling and sometimes its pretty intense
What I did is I just turned off my challenge timer
yeah im going to try that
Pb’d more often
chewing gum helps a little bit too lol but i wish i could fully get rid of that problem, because i feel like i could train for an hour at min if i didnt get that feeling
i can only go for like 10min before i call it cus that feeling gets to intense
people who i talk to dont feel that way, i think i just focus on my score to hard
Yo until the 4th line I thought you were about the anxiety you get from thinking about your limited time on earth
?
Hello, I have been training my aim, but I havn't really took any break, now my right arm, hand, fingers feel pretty weak, I havn't been disciplined on my 2 days a week break, Should I ?
Yes, breaks are important
Shoulder internal rotation with a towel should help get mobility back in your shoulder after an injury or if you just lack shoulder mobility. Watch more Ask Doctor Jo videos featuring full routines for common injuries and syndromes at http://www.askdoctorjo.com
To perform shoulder internal rotation with a towel:
- Take a towel in the hand of ...
I completely randomly decided to do this and my arm aim feels so much free now wtf
should i eat raw honeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy 😩
did it hard enough to hear a pop 💀
that's not even a question eat as much as you can
ok i also drink raw mill
fuck
NO
shoulder hurts after doing aim train
Stop tensing all the time in the wrong places, and do not GRIP your mouse it's not about holding it as hard as you can, find a comfortable position to hold your mouse.
Especially when your tracking, slow and smooth a bit of tense in the right place no gripping.
And you shouldn't shake.
Make sure you are sat down correctly not hunched over or collapsed into ur chair. Sit up straight shoulders straight, do not grip your mouse may cause that.
And lastly, maybe put your mousepad and mouse further forwards.
can you expl;ain why it feels like you do better when you tense your hand it feels like you have more control idk why
youmay for a bit but it has a lot of side effects
and it will make ur aim inconsistent
u can tense it a bit
but just dont overdo it
how you stop tensing?
just aim without putting any pressure on any of your joints in your arm
Simple but not easy
who agrees that trt is good
my fingers started numbing today, am i cooked
that happens to me when I put rubber bands at the base of my finger and tighten them a lot
guys i feel like my wrist block sometimes on smooth tracking scenarios or any tracking scenario, is that a health issues or just a skill issues ?
Depends if we're talking about bodybuilder TRT levels or actual TRT levels. If youre actually low it certainly outweighs the risks to feel better day to day. but loads of people rip 250+ test and cope saying its trt when really theyre just on a cycle
My wrist has been feeling really fatigued fast and very strained while playing lately anything to help with this?
Take a break, focus tension practice, go the the gym
i took a break and its still strains to fast ig ill try working it out a bit more
Went to the optometrist the other day, and it turns out I have “convergence insufficiency”. Anyways, my optometrist told me to ask my optician to put “prism” in my glasses as apparently that’ll help correct my insufficiency. I suspect that this is affecting my ability to focus when aiming. I’ll post an update when I get new glasses.
this is what it looks like
kind of cope but correcting this will help me focus longer so 🤷♂️
damn bruh i might have to look onto this, i been having the same thing the past 6 months
guys i feel like my wrist block sometimes on smooth tracking scenarios or any tracking scenario, is that a health issues or just a skill issues ?
U see one or two arrows
bruh
bruh
wait everytime i look at anything its double up like its on the right
is that normal
idk cuh
How'd you reduce the risk of getting carpal tunnel syndrome?
By finding proper technique and building stamina over time
ive been feeling some sort of pain around here when im playing, any idea?
this muscle build up lactic acid when you tighten it, meaning u grip your mouse to hard for too long
forgot to reply
has anyone with hand tremors been able to achieve a rank thats considered high in the vt benchmarks or in any game
I've recently got hand tremors because of my weak wrist and i was able to hit some gm scores so i assume its possible.
But it depends how bad the tremors are.
well i got essential tremor which is life long and uncurable and its pretty bad, im just starting to go crazy cuz good mouse control feels impossible even on 60cm sens
I understand, i also suffer from alot of diseases such as HCM a uncurable heart disease, Thyroidism disease which can go away but has always a chance to return, Diabetes type 1, but im still pushing for scores. so be confident, believe in yourself.
yeah ngl been grinding a while, could it also be gripping the mouse wrong too?
when i play valorant and my hand is in its normal grip position when im trying to hold an angle my index and middle finger goes up randomly and it feels stingy when it goes up also my fore arm is just more stiff now
My girlfriend has pain in her hands and not wrist whenever she plays. I keep telling her to grip lighter but she says she isn't gripping her mouse hard
Anyone got any advice?
anyone able to help me identify what tendons / nerves are causing my hand to shake?
is your hand shaking all the time or just in some specific situations
moving to the right mostly
possibly a weak hand maybe?
don't think so, i think theres some injury there , if not its a weak muscle i'd like to train but I don't know how to
tbh i have no idea
i think im cooked bc when i do tracking scenarios i cant focus on the target i feel like my weaker eye cant focus on the target when its going left, making my tracking really bad, this is such a beatdown
Are you wearing glasses?
or do you?
Yeah i wear glasses
And it's still bad?
Maybe but it might not be the issue tho.
Forearm muscles may be sore, overused, or not developed enough. All that is assuming perfect form while playing, so if it ain't the posture could also be the problem. Take some time off and record yourself while playing to evaluate
Blinkcamp.com, 60s per eye and 30s with both
guys
my sleep is so fucked whenever i have like late shift
its from 12:15 PM to 9:15 PM, I come home at 9:30 and instantly get ready for bed (I will already be sleeping by like 10:15 PM) and then I just cant get to wakeup till like idk??? 11 to 12 hours later. I woke up at 9:30ish AM today and now I have nothing left for the day, i gotta leave for work in like 2 hours bro idk i hate this shit
Yes, I've set alarms, for 7 hours of sleep, even 8. I wake up but my brain instantly deactivates alarm and sleeps again and then i wake up shocked like 2 hours later
could be that your body is tired just you don't recognise it maybe?
or realize it
How do I fix it
by improving sleep a little bit more and improving diet.
if you have any days that are free off work then i would usually recommend sleeping a little bit more by chance.
My left eye is legally blind and I don’t have this problem
I would just work on focusing more ig, eventually it’ll probably improve
Is if safe to drink blood?
Your own blood/type, yes, other blood types, no
How do I stop my hands from shaking
im having trouble with micro adjustments
and my tracking isn't that good too
often times i notice my aim jittery
and I dont feel relaxed
Is there any fix for it?
to me it happens when i use way too much tension bcs i get nervous.
then my tracking gets shaky, my arm gets tired, and as i keep going it gets jittery
i just take deep breaths whenever i notice im starting to get too nervous, and if i my arm feels too tired i take a little break.
maybe try some breathing excersises(?)
im a bit unexperienced tho, but i hope it helps.
yeah thats tension watch viscose's video on tension management
Thank you, I'll look into it
I’m improving so much slower than everyone else and its getting to my head, I’ve spent like 100 hours in Kovaaks but im still not gold complete
It usually takes me a while to learn new things but it wasn’t always like that so idk
stop self pitying yourself. keep grinding and trying hard
how do i become aware of what part am i tensing? i find it kinda hard
where you feel like it's hard to make movement u will feel like it stuck and soreness I guess
idk just focus on how you feel in your aiming arm
tought to explain
training mindfulness/meditation helps a lot
does anyone know of a good aimer who has EDS?
no, but why would something like that hinder your performance? is usain bolt complaining about his scoliosis? dont make a medical condition a personality trait about yourself, its easy to find excuses that way and hinder your progress. or worse, you may be giving up because you start believing that excuse
why would something like that hinder my performance?
I try not to make it an excuse however you're not in my boots broski
it definitely does hinder my performance
and as sad as that is I will admit it
I have a severe case of hEDS, I often wake up with my shoulder dislocated, I have hernias, chronic pain and more just cuz of this connective tissue disorder, I wouln't like to dive deeper but trust me, I know myself more then you do
oh and comparing usain bolts scoliosis to my hEDS is stupid
"In addition to his training, Bolt received regular physical therapy to help manage any pain or discomfort associated with his scoliosis. Physical therapy sessions focused on improving his flexibility, strengthening the muscles supporting his spine, and addressing any imbalances caused by his condition.
Bolt also had a strong support system in place, including his trainers, medical team, and family. This support system provided him with guidance, encouragement, and resources to help him overcome the challenges posed by the condition."
do you think I got any of these?
I'm guessing there Isn't any good aimers that has EDS and It's also difficult to find pro players or good aimers that have it because normally they would keep it as their own privacy.
Or most of them do.
But who knows ¯_(ツ)_/¯
youre right with all the points youre mentioned, and im sorry if we both started one the wrong foot. but please get my point: your progress is still your progress, comparison will kill your motivation, and you make an excuse of your current skillset because of your condition. if we continue comparing yourself to usain bolt: he gets alot of help because hes an elite athlete and has to perform well, i dont know his whole vita, but i doubt the help he got was for the entirety of his life before he reached his peak. meaning: he still got to that level and earned all that help because he STILL TRIED HIS BEST despite his conditions and never made any fuss about it how it is unfair that he is "handicapped". **he tried his best, worked harder than the rest of us, and showed the world that certain conditions dont define us and our skillset. **
understandable
yeah well I won't let this stop me but it's just frustrating because on some days I feel it more
yeah I understand if they would keep it as their own privacy however I would also imagine some don't even know that they have EDS
possibly but who knows tho? It's hard to believe innit?
since it's a group of 13 heritable connective tissue disorders yk
and some are more severe then others
and some people with the same type of EDS could have different symptoms too lol
yeah, i have a cousin that has EDS in his elbow.
you don't have it in one place tho\
yeah but thats what we know of rn
We haven't really tested other parts of his body than his elbow pretty much.
if his elbow hyperextends that could be a symptom of eds however if that's the only thing you've noticed he may not have it
honestly it's so complicated I just don't care at this point
if i remember i think his knees were a bit funny.
It's nothing to be sad of mate, but if this would help then my cousin peaked ascendant on valorant if that helps (Probably not but am trying my best)
well I'm global in CS
I was in CS:GO
hm
Nice
Or in other words his knees bent in ways that other's couldnt and his wrists was also a bit funny.
i have pain here, any idea why?
do you grip your mouse hard?
you’ve got early onset arthritis, sorry dude your careers over
What habits can I develop so I won't get any career ending injuries like this guy
your mouse dosent owe you money dawg keep a loose grip, and make sure to shake ur hand out and take breaks every once and awhile
which means don’t play roblox for 11 fucking hours 😭😭

on aim trainers no, but on valorant it might happen occasionally
could be the reason but im not sure
i think it first started when i woke up 2 days ago, maybe i slept on it wrong or something
i also weight lift but i dont think it happened in the gym
make sure to do extensions on your fingers especially your thumb
what does that mean?
like pull on it?
not pulling but stretching
if you go into #resources
and scroll up to additional resources and then health guides and then wrist stretch & posture guide and then you will find some stretches
why is my wrist so tense in claw grip
Could be an underlying issue that’s activated when you tense, check if u match any symptoms of DQT
I went through that at one point and took me like 3 weeks to heal
I struggle to focus my eyes on moving objects and also enemys in games, I wear glasses does anyone have any tips?
In reactive tracking its so bad for me that it feels like the object is skipping in different directions
Anyone got any tips on helping with RLS?
Is focus the main point or are your eyes just getting tired?
its not really about focus or my eyes being tired but rather that I cant keep up with the object in like a focused state
You can try a "eyes warmup" before playing

DARKMODE FPS Eye Training Warmup 2025 (HIGH RES)
I created a darkmode eye tracking/eye training warm up for those with sensitive eyes. I wanted a warmup that was high-resolution and didn't have little errors in it. Practicing eye tracking and training your eyes can improve focus, reading speed, visual perc...

how long should i take a break from kovaaks, my right index and middle finger hurts a lot after doing vdim
take a break for ATLEAST a week. with overuse injuries, you want to give it extra time because they flare up very easily & rapidly. once your 200% ready to come back, start doing some hand/grip strengthening. also consider if your arms/shoulders/back are weak, then stregthen them as well. pain in the hand can come from a lot of things
ight, thx for the advice!
Anyone know or have information on why I unwillingly tense my legs when focusing during training? It’s not consistent but will happen at some point during a one minute scenario.
why do you send bloack hand?
just a weir habit, i tense my jaw when im rly focused on something
i liock my lips
I thought that might be the case trying to break that habit because I feel that I'm tensing too much to the point where I start to focus on my legs instead of Kovaaks
pen pineapple?
Hi guys i need help. I have used arm rests all my life but recently i decided to try aiming without them. I actually perform better but after a while i noticed pain in the right side of my neck and rear shoulder area. I tried watching posture videos and sitting straight, angling my elbow to 90 degrees, changing desk and chair heights but I havent really managed to fix this issue. Any Ideas on how i could fix this or is it just something i need to play through?
any warmup to prevent like wrist dmg from wrist aiming
1hp has some wrist stufg
i have pain in my brachioradiallis area
i get pain in the front middle of my wrist when i try to stabilse my fingertip mouse too much
I genuinely just had the worst rage in a while, I know I shouldn’t have had the rage as it was late and I played a comp tired, knowing I was probably gonna underperform and not show my true colors. My team was supportive and we won but still I only focused on myself and my deaths and only what I did wrong. After that I snapped, I ripped my shirt off and just acted screwy. I know I shouldn’t even had raged, I got 3rd to top in the end but still was mad. Should I start meditating? Take a break? Reset after every round? Anyone else have ideas?

Take some breaths. Take a break from the scrutiny. We play too often to be so critical. It’s good to be critical but there is a fine line. You also describe “feeling like you were gonna do bad” which is a self fulfilling prophecy. Meditate! 🧘 fr try it!

I use a pulsar x2 crazy light with a fingertip grip, I mentally really like it and have experienced my flicks are super accurate tracking is smooth INGAME but, during aim training it’s still all good super accurate good tracking but I experience a lot of strain after doing my warmup of 3 smooth wrist 3 angle tracking and 3 5 sphere small sometimes even midway through, I tried using stretches to help but it was a temporary relief probably only because I took a break from aiming for a couple minutes. Not to mention I don’t even get to my actual aim training playlists before I experience strain.
Besides caffeine pills and L-theanine is there anything else I could use for gaming?
consider massaging your arm maybe
same gang ive had these exact same feelings and i got really really tilted today and till now im thinking ab it my entire setup is messed up aswell cz of tilting, i feel like im caring too much about my rank but idk how to not
i honestly prefer coffee but if ur looks for something thats more "game" related, companies like ghost have a powder with a little caffeine and some other ingredients that supposedly help u lock in
but again coffee always the go to for me
L-citruline, L tyrosine, creatine, omega-3, astaxanthin, magnesium etc
300 mgs per scoop wouldn’t be recommended for aim
of these only creatine and magnesium have a debateably worthwhile benefit
Sure, you could argue that some are better than others even though all of them are proven to have their uses. Looking at the question I answered makes ur reply completely useless, question was “could use” not which is the best, pls don’t reply to me with irrelevant replies
When he said 'could' I think he meant it as to improve his game.
You 'could' eat dirt before gaming but it won't help you play better
U say that as if I mentioned something that would be bad for him, all of the latter supplements I mentioned have their own benefits for performance in and outside the game, I can already tell you’re not going to be worth wile to write to, have a good day
I was going to just call them useless but I guess you are right that they might be net negative too. Anyways the burden of proof should be on you to explain why you think astaxanthin for example would make a meaningful improvement for gaming performance
Helps protect eyes against eye strain and fatigue
During longer sessions
for sure worth spending 40$ a month on that
Costs like 25 bucks for 60 capsules where I live, which is equates to 12.5$ per month. The question I answered was a “could use for improvement” not what suits your bank account the most
probably oxidized and contaminated from shit chinese factory that will cause long term damage you wont know about until it's too late while never even giving tanngible benefits. Why even recommend that
Produced in Sweden
also if your point is that it gives improvement by protecting your eyes that's a bit of an indirect use for 'improvement'
Some countries have strict regulations you know
doesn't even have some magic benefit it's just some antioxidant
go do cardio for free for 5x the benefit
It’s a supplement for a reason, not a life style
scamming clueless people for a reason instead of giving solid advice 🔥
can I hear both of your possible responses to me either answering yes or no
U not having eye strain/fatigue helps you aim train longer or gives u higher quality practice. Many people get severe eye strain from aim training which is why astaxanthin is a recommended supplement
U don’t have a single valid point except crying about ur own assumption of the quality of production or the fact that u are broke
I thought he was looking for performance enhancers though not how to fix eye strain.
can you share your sources for astaxanthin being effective for eye strain though
maybe you are right about something
This isn’t a debate, u can go look it up
I’m not spending more time on you then I already am
This is all just ponder coming from you
could you please just share the sources on astaxanthin and then you can take your victory lap
finding stuff like that isn't as easy as you'd think
I'm just trying to save a random fella from spending money on nonsense.
He isn’t a random
He’s been active in this community and I’m fairly sure he knows what these supplements are
I'm sorry I didn't mean 'random' as an insult like that, just as a description of the situation here
I replied to him in such a direct way because I know who he is
I know he’s not stupid
why do you tell him to take nonsense then
whatever doesn't matter
if you give me the astaxanthin research you have I will respect you lots
Because I know it works
do people who take placebo think it works
Google this
If your unwilling to read entire studies, you can read this article that explains the properties and benefits of astanxanthin, https://www.algatech.com/how-does-astaxanthin-benefit-eye-fatigue/
"A prospective, randomized, double-blinded study compared the effects of an antioxidant supplement (containing anthocyanosides, astaxanthin, vitamins A, C, and E, and several herbal extracts, including Cassiae smn"
There’s over 500 studies on it, please
Don’t think I’ll be searching for a specific study just to prove you wrong
U have the source studies if u scroll down
well I thought it'd be easier for you than me to find it since you've read the research already
I’m on my phone
Trying to celebrate my nephews first birthday
Just read this article
Look at the studies attached at the bottom
Then come back
I'm looking at the sources but 2 of them lead to some confusing Japanese website
Just use pubmed
the first study that I can read is basically only saying that yes astaxanthin works as an antioxidant
but there's a billion other ways to do that
2 of the 3 studies aren't on pubmed
Not saying the studies aren't legit but that's just..
?
yea this just means that it's working as an antioxidant but so do other things, but even then the most effective thing is being actually healthy
Also I said that already, not sure why you needed to post the screenshot
Because it shows that it prevents cell damage in the eye specifically
Uh, it doesn't make any statement about specifity. It's just an antioxidant
Specifically directly helping to soothe oxidative stress
It literally said the human aqueous humor
I was saying this 40 mins ago
BECAUSE THAT'S THE PART THEY TESTED
That study itself shows that it helps soothe eye strain
???
What are u not understanding
Patients are literally being given astaxanthin to help with eye strain
It’s a supplement, not a life style
U just basically called all supplemententation useless because u can get it from food anyways
look up strawman fallacy
Am I wrong though
Ur saying it’s a fallacy but not taking the actual question itself into consideration
the point of a strawman argument is to make a weaker version of the opponents argument called a strawman that you then attack, you can still act like you are correct but you are only correct in terms of the strawman argument
The problem is that ur not even giving an arguement
Hello
We’re talking about supplements, not better ways to get said improvement
I'm saying that for improving gaming performance there is no evidence that taking astanxathin would help you improve unless MAYBE you have pre existing dry eye syndrome but even then the evidence seems shaky
the guy asked about caffeine and l theanine
for gaming
what do you think he's asking
to get better gaming performance, or to prevent his future dry eye syndrome
No he didn’t
He says he takes those, then asked which other ones he could use
Don’t see anywhere where he asked about the supplements he already takes
@rose vale can you help us
the things that he's currently taking are under the list of things that he could be still taking in the future, but they are context for what he's looking for in other supplements
also notice the 'for gaming'
Which is why anastaxanthin can be used for an example, I agree I was off on the original message though
Eye strain is common for gaming
It literally helped me, otherwise I wouldn’t have recommended it
I doubt that something with allegedly over 500 studies would have such big of a placebo to where my eye strain is gone
I only had eye strain when I aim trained, not anywhere else
Amount of studies means basically nothing only the highest quality ones do.
how long did it take for astaxanthin to fix that
A month or so
Habits were not changed at all
I guess it's plausible that it did something then. I used it for 1.5 months at some point to see if it does anything for dry eyes and it didn't, though I never have other forms of eye strain.
I doubt something I’ve had for years since I started aim training just magically disappears a month after I start taking a supplement
Only thing that did anything for dry eyes for me were specialist eye drops
Hey guys, I haven't really been focused on tracking a target until recently. Are solid color targets supposed to leave a blurry trail behind them or is that an eye sight thing?
@rich ore what did citrulline do for you. I guess it could be a nice quality of life thing like magnesium but I wouldn't really expect it to improve gaming performance
I mainly have been using it for gym
For bloodflow
L-tyrosine is by far the most useless thing you mentioned though. That thing is basically saturated already if you eat normal amounts of meat rather than being a vegan
Since I started taking citruline, my reaction time dropped by like 10ms for some reason, could be the improved blood circulation, idk
However I’ve been taking it for the gym for like 2 years
gotta ponder on if it was the citrulline or the gym
Could be many reasons though I just feel good when taking citruline
Might just be biased
could indicate an eye issue or just be a problem with the monitor
I'm not convinced on artificially boosting nitric oxide production being good long term unless it's in conjunction with actual exercise and not gaming
