Rust is the way to train or siege
Sigma hardcore aim train
You should spend you’re money on more useful stuff than aim like a car or house
👍
i got both thanks tho
99.9% chance you lack the stamina for how long you played (1h in aim trainer is = to at least 2h in other games [some time it's more like 10 as demanding even], so 4h in aim trainers is like 8h+ of gaming in half the time for the stress and needing the stamina for it) . The best advise I can give you is no aim trainer and half amount of time gaming for the next few days, see if it's still painful or not and adjust from there. If you do not suffer from any pain in just a few days, that was just soreness and it's normal, take it easy with aim trainer 915 minutes at first is already that) and go slowly up from that. You could really get some kind of issue with too much aim training, not just wrist and hand pain, but all your arm pain if you are not careful. Most of the injuries are caused by a lack of stamina, so yiu need to build it up slowly and do some endurance training for it too, if you can.
well its definitely not just sore. i can feel tingling in my fingertips, and the tests i did to check for cts all suggested i have it. when i tap the inside of my wrist i can feel it jolt into my thumb and it goes numb and tingles
and it is in my arm too, but again its not just sore. also it hurts so bad to type this
also i had a dream i was banned for asking that 💀
i was so mad bro bc i've been banned from other servers for asking similar things
also i feel it at the top of my forearm, right before it gets to the elbow
and it feels so good to press it
it def isn't just sore there's no way this is just soreness
Yet you still won't go to a doctor ?
i'm 17 i cant go to the doctor
i have no money
and my parents dont want to take me
Going to your school nurse is still possible
She can contact social services if you are prevented from accessing medical treatment by your parents
I dunno if the situation is that serious for you, but if it is then there are possibilities
i dont go to school
It's not that serious, even if you do have cts, you can still recover, 1hp have great videos and exercises for that exactly. I can't send link right now, but check them out on youtube to see what you can find for you. I suggest to do the 9 minute routine for wrist endurance that have no equipement. Do that twice a day for 8 weeks and you should be alright, if I am not mistaking.
Also, don't get me wrong on yhis, it is not as serious as you not been able to use your hands ever again, but it is a very serious issue that could need à professional if possible, but since it's not, that might be the best free thing for you. If you can pay à certain amount, you can also buy their complete wrist troubleshooter online, but they also have a free version on their website too, which could help you a lot.
Ok, I can now send some links for it, here is the most recommended way for you to heal : https://youtu.be/7W_39vlZ2t4?si=LxxoKUAzQgphWoNb

patience, my friend, it's agonizing but i trust you'll recover in time
slow recovery processes are just the reality of life i'm afraid
get the rest you need, put in the work to strengthen, maintain good habits, and it will pay off
BY THE EYE OF AGAMOTO 🗣️ 🔥
Then do the troubleshooter 8 time, once for each spots.
After playing for an hour I start feeling eye strain/headaches... is there anything I can do to help with this?
You should rest them, make sure you have the rest you need and the amount of water you need too. I am not sure if there is anything else for that unfortunatly.
Alpha I rly think you're being a drama queen atm
thank you
I do think they overreact a bit too much, but not knowing too much about the subject can be scare and some do react more or less dramaticaly.
I know this sounds weird but try putting some sort of dim light behind your monitor also look away from your screen at something distant while in queue
yes
i just wanna rule out things n get information since idk what is going on
it would be a lot easier if this happened before yk
You'll get through it dw, at 17 you have the ability to heal yourself incredibly fast
Hey guys, I’m having problems with my elbows. I think repetitive clicking is causing pain in my elbow.
I also get pain when I do over head tricep extensions at the gym. I’ve stopped doing them for now. Any advice?
by the eye of mama coco
I was having wrist pain so I did a stretch routine now I’m chilling I doubt it’s that serious
Especially if it’s from playing games to much
@kindred galleon Wat do u recommend taking for helping with memory retention and recall
Baikal Skullcap, Gingko Biloba, Lion's mane
Any one of those or any combination
i would disagree with this just do pullups its enough
Well, you are free to do and think whatever you want, but I do think that you can trust professionals that have over 15 years of studies/research/infield experience in that subject à bit more than someone that does not know that many peoples here can't do something like a pullup. Many of those that will go with those exercices or go see what 1hp can do for them lost à part of the fonction of their hand/wrist/arm and can't do something as simple as picking à small and heavy object, some can't take a full water bottle because of how much they are affected byctheir condition, so hanging on a bar with 175+ pounds ( 79 + kg) that you need to keep there is unthinkable for them. Some peoples here can't do pullups with their body mass either, I am one of them. Many can't access a gym either, I am one of them. Many can only use the minimal amount of equipement, so that is why I linked the vidéo with almost no equipement and I also put the one with the rice bucket, since it might be one of the best way of doing wrist exercices, it might not be, but it still could be. Also, many peoples here does not suffer from à général weakness or lack of exercices in their arm, but à compression or inflammation of à specific nerve caused by tendons been too tight around it, which is often caused by a lack of stamina in the tendon and muscle linked to it, not the muscle not able to lift some medium to very heavy weight.
I do agree that pullups can be good, just not good enough for many, if not most, of the peoples that will ask questions here and have hand/wrist/arm concerne.
right i wasnt thinking about those types of people
Don't worry about that, this is why having the opinion of many is very valuable and you would be 100% right if this chat channel was for fitness or something like that. I might have over reacted a little too, I am sorry for that.
you're me when I was 17. I'm now 23. Take your time for the love of god, and get off your ass and do your research now. You'll be much better and be able to play much longer if take it serious right now.
never take your health for granted
as someone who's just got the flu and tried to dey it by doing lots of sports up until it shot me to bed, i fuckin agree
does wrist pain mean carpal tunnel or is carpal tunnel rare
my right hand wrist on the left side has a tiny tiny tiny little ache when i move it left and right fast
but i dont have any tingling or pain or throbbing
i just wanna make sure i can always keep them healthy so should i just constantly exercise my wrists everyday?
like if i do the rice bucket thing everyday and go to the gym 4 times a week will my wrists be able to handle 4-5 hours of valorant 4-5 times a week?
- stretching in between games and what not
my left finger tip hurts I rested but still didnt healed
If you go to the gum too, maybe half the amount of exercises for the rice bucket and/or do not do it on days that you use your wrist a lot at the gym.
Also, you can replace the rice by beads like those : https://www.amazon.com/Weighted-Stuffed-Animals-Microbead-Blankets/dp/B083S6DTFC/ref=asc_df_B083S6DTFC?mcid=21bf145714ab37a88cc6662f983fd33c&tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693440807678&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14514463495832878500&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9031040&hvtargid=pla-1251282214280&psc=1

admins this should be reported
infinitrix thank u for helping me and also these other people
ive been having these stress tremors lately or idk how to call them. i cant aim properly without my arm being tensed up and i just need to shake it constantly and i never had these before at al
i cant have my calm aim because my arms feels so tensed up
around this area if that helps..
weak tendons, i've had that for a long time
pull ups + pushups and handstands as a bonus, truly gamechanger
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoedUZ4OpPY&list=PLB2qbSS-C_EFhoNmxu5Rfj3DrWSZFyGgK&index=13 when im done doing the exercise's in this vid would it be better or worse to put ice on my forearms right after ive seen some vids saying its bad and some saying its good so idk

If you're tired of looking for wrist p...
how to get rid of my massive forehead
Genetic engineering
Why am I always tired unless I get 9+ hours of sleep
6-8 hours just isn’t enough for me
that's just how it is, sometimes you need more sleep
9 is about my sweet spot too
I can’t go to bed at 10 😭
How is your sleep hygiene? Do you turn stop looking at screens 30 minutes to an hour before bed? Do you have a consistent sleep schedule? Do you keep caffeine to the mornings? If you find your sleep isn't as restful as you think it should be, try doing those things if you're not already. As Xira said, some people need more sleep (myself included), but there are things you can do to make sure that you're falling asleep very quickly and allowing your body to really recover.
I don’t take caffeine at all, I do look at screens before and have a semi consistent sleep schedule since I gotta wake up at 7 daily
But on weekends I just sleep for as long as I can
Is that bad?
Does it disrupt the schedule
screens and exercise and what time you eat can make a huge difference
yo started to get some wrist pain should i lower my sens?
feel like its only logical to take some strain off it ygm
but exercising makes me more tired afterwards
yeah, that's kind of the point ❤️
but my goal is to be less tired in the evenings not more 😭
i thought you were having trouble falling asleep earlier
ohh my bad.. that's also kind of an issue but mainly because I do want to be awake for a bit longer
i dont wanna give up more than 8 hours for sleeping
but maybe that's just not an option I have?
some people just need more sleep
maybe you could try going for less and seeing if you develop a habit of it, but i dont think i'd recommend going below 8 hours🤷♀️
personally i take a fair bit of time to fall asleep and wake up in the night a bit, i end up getting like 1-2h less actual sleep than time spent in bed
it does bother me how so much of my day feels wasted but the alternative of being a zombie all day is even less desirable
Thank you I’ll try that
It's best to stay consistent on weekend if possible. Definitely not always easy, but sleeping in may impact the time you're able to go sleep the next night. As for screens, they emit blue light just like the sun. Your brain will interpret that as it still being daytime and so it won't produce melatonin until much later. This means that certain recovery processes don't get started until much later in the night, and you end up cutting them off in the morning.
It's also important to give yourself an 8h sleep opportunity. So if your bedtime is 11 and you game right up until then, then you're gonna have to get ready for bed and fall asleep within the time that you should already be sleeping. It's important to measure 8h from when you actually fall asleep, not when you get in bed
But weekends is when I feel the best bc I’m allowed to sleep in
So overtime that weekend feeling will become the norm?
I’ve been measuring it based on my smartwatch
But yeah I should give myself a time before falling asleep
at least 90 minutes is mandatory, 2 or 3h would be best
If you find that sleeping in makes you feel better and doesn't affect you the next night it's probably not that bad, especially if it's not super late after your usual wake time. But me personally, I felt like a brand new person when I was really dedicated to my sleep schedule, not smoking weed, reading before bed, etc. If you can improve your sleep during the week, you likely won't feel the need to sleep in during the weekend, and your weekdays won't be so sluggish
The other thing to note is that sleep doesn't recover the same every night. So if you're sleep deprived, usually your brain will recover in mostly NREM sleep (more to do with memory) the first night, then the next nights, it binges on REM sleep (emotional control, etc.). It'll take a few consistent days before the benefits really start kicking in, but once they do, it just gets easier and easier to maintain as your emotions will be more under control, your appetite will be better regulated, and your hormones will be all be doing their thing at full capacity.
how do i stop being itchy right here but only on the inside
and its a constant itch and i have even found myself biting this part throughout the day to try to relieve it
lactic acid buildup
you're overusing the thumb, shift your grip
appreciate this information, thanks! ill give it a try
if I do wrist excercises (with dumbells such as recommended from 1hp) should I skip aim training for the next day if its too sore?
does anyone know how to get rid of cold feet and hands while gaming?
whenever I'm playing valorant for more than ~30 mins, my feet start to feel cold and numb as well as my hands and fingers
it makes aiming feel so stiff and unnatural
putting my hands in warm water helps only for a short period of time
i heard that the arm position (if it's too high relatively to the heart) might be the problem, since the blood supply to the hand is harder because it's higher than the heart
but that's not the case
my hands are in the same level as my heart
room temperature isn't a problem as well
no open windows, no cold drafts either
and i don't have this problem in my daily life
so it's not a disease or smth
and I'm sweating as well while playing
as if i had a fever
but i don't have one
adrenaline? and hows your cardio/circulation
could be adrenaline
but i wouldn't say i feel like i get much adrenaline just by playing a simple deathmatch
never had problems with neither cardio nor circulation
the blood circulation in my forearms and hands is considered proper i think as my forearms and hands tend to have visible veins almost all the time
btw found this article, reading through it currently https://1-hp.org/blog/hpforgamers/coldhandswhilegaming/?amp=1
"Excessive numbness/tingling affecting your daily activities
prolonged cold lasting a couple of hours even after attempting ways to improve local circulation"
this doesn't apply for me
nothing serious ig
more likely adrenaline
Breathe extra slowly thru your 'ose while playing
I started having hives a few days ago. I stopped taking my supplements cause i thought they are the problem but the hives havent stopped. What should I do to treat the hives?
I am not sure if this kind of mental health question is allowed here but
I am too obsessed with getting good at games that I am willing to tank my irl life for it, because I feel like I have to be good at one specific thing to feel any sense of personal worth and satisfaction, and I feel like I had to go with video games because of my advantages; and if I don't grind Right Now I will never get the chance to do so again because I'd be too old to do so"
How should I tackle each part of this mentality one at a time?
definitely reflect upon self worth and ask yourself why you have to feel like you are good at something to achieve a sense of it.
a lot of us are raised to believe we have to do or be something great in order to matter as a person, which leads to a lot of very unhealthy mindsets and habits. we focus so much on how other people perceive us and neglect how we perceive ourselves.
have somthing important to do in your life, it'll put video games on the back burner
not sure i should ask this here but does anyone else feel like their aim is way worse after they workout if so how do you get it back to normal for that day?
tea or coffee
i just pour hot water over my leaf and call it a day
i dont have a machine that costs two gajillion and another that costs three bajillion to just make me espresso
tea easier and tastier
smells better too
That would be the ideal way of going about it yeah
For the most part I've just had long term beliefs that we are defined by what we can do
And it also comes from a perspective that everyone around me is skilled at something but me
So I had to chase after skill in order to not be left behind
Pretty sure it has to do with soreness if you go too Hard
I guess you just have to do more strength Training aswell
After a Hard workout I feel a decrease aswell
would it be beneficial to swap days i do playlist. I do vdim playlist so pretty much every category is always the same day every week so im pretty much doing tracking every Wednesday whic is a day i work out
Yeah you could deffo try that and see if it has positive effects
its noteven a small drop either normally im able to hit diamond to low jade scores but on days i work out i struggle to stay above plat
I See do you feel it After and Workout or just after Arm/ Shoulders ?
arm and shoulders days
Okay so I am no expert but I think if you go to failure it will stay like that because your muscles are exhausted
So I for example just go with it cause I priortise my workout and go a Bit less in AIM Training when I expierience to much soreness
i kinda figured that was just hoping to find some advice on how to lower the loss in skill like takea nap or some lol but thank you none the less for sharing your experience ill try changing days i do certain playlist
@celest quiver
Sorry I couldnt Provide more advice but no worries if I find out that works I will Share it with you @winter sand
thank you would be big help if i find anything ill also share
No worries thank you aswell
!admin
this creatine powder is so sweet (sweetners) uaaaa im not gunna make a drink outta it next time
just dry scoop is fine right
its only 5 grams
told you not to buy sweetened version
there you go you didnt listen
got tendonitis on the radial side of my hand probably from aim training and piano playing. i have been applying heat and doing stretches and it seems to be improving. Should i do wrist strengthening exercises now, or does that pose too much of a risk of overstraining, so i should wait for full or close to full recovery before doing the exercises
any excercises on mouse1 finger pain? I guess i just click too much during a day, when i play fps games/kovaaks as well it starts hurting
Try to not to press much but for help just stretch out your fingers and massage it a bit
That is a question a doctor or physical therapist has to answer with proper background and screening. An overall rule of thumb without risking anything is: dont train with a strain. If it hurts while or after its generally not a good idea to start training, you have to try it out tho. Tendon related issues have a little more nuance to it, hence why a professional is always the best choice to give yourself a proper answer for it
Does anybody experience vision issues when they aim train for a while. Everything goes blurry and it’s hard to read text from far away when I aim train for more than an hour
Myb start eye Training if that doesnt help you should consider an eye doctor
Myb some Blue light blocking Glasses
I missed the 1hp thing yesterday, can someone please summerise what was said 🙂
hi is there any reason or just my right shoulder rises when i aim sometimes? is that normal?
Yes youre lifting your arm up to move with less shrubbery on the pad, you could sit higher or lower the height of the desk if it annoys you
@marsh latch Okay would higher be better and is there a good height my desk should be?
usual recommendation is underarm and elbow parallel on the desk or elbow a little higher than underarm when resting on the table
fellas how does one with adhd actually get a properly stable sleep schedule shit feels impossible on god 😭
buy an oura ring
get overwhelmingly ashamed when you realise it's wasted money if you dont properly do it
never miss a good night's sleep again
ez
(this has happened to me)
ty
Don’t use TikTok
I don't use tiktok at all
I just have troubles falling asleep due to insomnia
@tired osprey please ban bots ty
I relate to this so much
i wake up at the sametime everyday, but when i go to bed im just not falling asleep for hours
i need help my forearm keeps hurting(its not form gooning)
Are ya death gripping your mouse
I dont
What is your cardio like?
Ur not doing enough during day time
maybe. but i'm really tired when i get back from home, it's not like im full of energy in bed
i do just sit at a desk all day tho
are any thoughts keeping you awake?
thats what usually gets me
if im too excited or too anxious it takes a toll on my sleep
hey could someone help, i noticed that whenever i aim or play games i typically tense my elbow-shoulder area alot is there any reason why and if so could someone help me
You're pressing down your mouse on the pad right?
maybe not intentionally, but is that happening?
and also, are your elbows rested on your desk/pad/table? Or is your elbow joint in the "air", like your forearm is resting on your desk etc but your elbow is far back
Exactly this
the last part of this from 'or'
The issue is so common, if you focused on school, went to the gym, had a part time job and took care of ur diet and hygiene, I’d insure you that you’d be able to sleep properly
Mental exhaustion and sleepiness are two different things
Or more so psychological exhaustion
and I could almost guarantee you’d see good improvement if you took care of all of those factors
Most people are so quick to self diagnose themselves without actually digging into their QOL
School + gym + part time job?
In one day?
I respect that
If you just stop wasting ur time it’s so easy to make it work
I literally have insomnia myself and doing more stuff makes me sleep like a baby
Then wake up refreshed in the morning
But I already feel low on energy, how will I be able to do more tasks in the day
Why do u have low energy
Not enough sleep because it takes me 1-2 hours to fall asleep
Let me get home and I’ll give you some tips
Okay what do you do on a daily basis 3-5 hours before bed
And what time to you believe you fall asleep at
Okay look
Do homework before u eat dinner
Snack if ur hungry
It’ll make it more efficient as u won’t be tired from eating a heavy meal
Honestly I get home after the gym and I’m basically eating dinner
I’d still recommend that u snack
If you go gym and then eat a heavy meal
Your most likely to get very tired after that meal
Get the homework done as fast as possible after the gym and just snack on literally anything
Then eat dinner normally
Shower, daily hygiene stuff and then just wind down in bed
I don’t care if u use ur phone or not before bed cause I do and it works fine
If you want to play I’d play after dinner, however i play the most in the morning since I sleep early
Also do not use any type of reels or short form content, wind down to anime, YouTube videos educational or not, doesn’t matter, It’s so easy to start thinking about random shit or even get stuck scrolling
Like if you practice the good things for a while you’ll start doing even better things for yourself, start small and don’t over do it in the beginning, it’ll be easier and easier once u start getting used to it
Like I used to go sleep at 2-3 am every day and now I sleep at 8-10 pm depending on my work
Honestly, I have a shit ton of energy throughout the entire day until I take that shower and hop in bed
Food doesn’t need to get more complicated than this if your mom doesn’t cook dinner all the time, around 80 grams of protein
hello i have cubital tunnel syndrome what to do for this
Heya :) just wanted to thank you, reading your messages made me compare it to what i'm doing, and its safe to say that it allowed me to reflect quite a bit on how much better i could feel by switching things a bit ^^
My message was insanely rushed but I appreciate you taking your time to reflect to it😃
So your issue is that because your elbows are in the 'air' your shoulder joint is activated to carry the weight of your elbow/arm which overtime gets it sore. You need to make your elbow joint rested on your disk/table. Bring yourself closer to your table.
Consult orthopedic surgery. They might do a simple incision for relief, or use splints and physiotherapy. Also depends on past medical history and causative agent eg you're a bodybuilder on huge doses of growth hormone
Either orthopedic surgery or start with physio
I am doing physio thanks will let u know if I see any changes
Has anybody here bought the 1 HP Mental Performance for players thingy? I am thinking about buying that and the wrist thingy but idk yet! I feel like my Mental is too weak even though I believe I have a strong one the negatives just outweight the positives sadly! :(
And also! how much sessions would I need to do? I just found out that it is $200 per session! 🙀
guys i dont think my wrist is supposed to hurt after aim training right 😞 i might be too tense while doing it or might be holding my mouse wrong i dont know
i did the becnhmark wich was about an hour and 15 minutes if i had to guess then i played overwatch but my wrist hurt like shit
should i take a break
Take a break, find wrist exercises and stop over tensing your wrist
Could be a posture or desk/chair height issue

how long of a break should be the best? if it doesn’t hurt tomorrow should i do a routine or should i give it a few days?
def not out here trynna get carpal tunnel
If you want you could focus forearms in the gym, it will help your wrist
i see
It’s fairly hard to get carpal tunnel, I wouldn’t be worried unless you actually over do it
alr phew
You could try splitting up your routine
Also wrist exercises helped me a ton
When I started out
Ever since I started going to the gym, my wrist pain disappeared like it never existed
Just take it lighter until it eases up, you wouldn’t even need a break
And you could maintain consistency with that
good point, i’ll do maybe half an hour instead
how the heck do people position their keyboard and leave space for their mouse? This position is killing my left shoulder, but it leaves room for my mouse. While the 2nd pic leaves no room for my mouse
maybe my forearm should be at an angle outside of my shoulder width and not straight? like so, but is that good posture?
smaller keyboard helps a ton, also putting it much further off to the left
keyboard shouldnt be centered for your setup
no, this isn't good
if i put it much further off to the left, then my left arm is just in the same position that my right arm would be in that 3rd picture though?
i like centering around the middle of my numpad personally, gives me a decent amount of space on both sides without needing to spread my arms
i did end up getting a smaller keyboard that saves me a few cm which helps a bit
unless you have very narrow shoulders it should be pretty okay
i.e. the center of your chest == the center of your numpad?
and monitor, yes
doesnt have to be exact, but it should be way better than your examples above
This is adjusted per your recommendation above. Still doesn't seem like enough space tbh. Is the solution really only a 75% keyboard?
are you not taking the picture from the middle?
not really, the phone is in my left hand. but the numpad is centered on my chest. monitor would technically be directly above the numpad too
right arm is straight
left arm would technically be angled out in this position
hmm, you either have pretty narrow shoulders or just hold stuff narrow
options would be smaller keyboard, or you could try the tilted keyboard
personally i always hated the tilt
i hear tilted is awful for the wrist tho
yeah, i hate it
well, i figure* it's awful for the wrist. havne't heard much
some swear by it but i cannot figure out how to use it comfortably lol
i either have to learn over my board a bit to angle inwards, which fucking sucks, or angle my wrist in an awkward way which also fucking sucks
needs to be more content about keyboard position tbh
this is where i get the "just outside of shoulder width". seems like good advice still tbh?
what do you think?
basically what i use, not quite as wide as in the pic tho
that was this pic here. It's even better if I move my keyboard left slightly. What was your problem with this photo?
cuz u replied like this. Did my wrist angle look bad?
hard to tell in the picture, but it looks pretty wide
fair ty
U are way too wide to be able to control your mouse equally in most angles, you’ll be severally handicapped aiming to your right
I was just trying to emulate the picture above, do you agree with struth?
or disagree
I disagree
I haven’t seen that video however I wouldn’t put my anchor point in a position where I can’t aim equally to all angles
That’s just inconsistent in any high ranked scenario
so with my mouse hand coming directly off my body, not tilted to the right. this is what it looks like for me. just no space
appreciated, that's my next step after figuring out how to position my stuff. looking to see what consistently hihgh ranked players do
Okay if you have a table size problem, u don’t need to be sitting in the middle of it
It may feel weird but scoot your chair over to the right so you have more space to move
I mean I don't though. it's a nice and large table. I just shouldnt put my forearms wayyyy out to the side
and scooting to the right would put my keyboard forearm at a large angle
How would putting your keyboard forearm at a larger angle effect your overall aim
figured it was a health thing
Sure it’s a posture thing but if you actually exercise and don’t spend too much time at your desk, there shouldn’t be any worries
so for the mousehand, it's not that you think it's unhealthy to have your forearm angled to the right: it's that angling it to the right limits movement MORE to the right, correct?
Yeah, it limits your ability to move to the right making it inconsistent when you compare aiming upwards, downwards and to the sides
all your movements would be completely different and you’re forearm would get friction in different locations every time you move
I wouldn’t recommend it if you want to improve aim
But it really shouldn’t matter as it’s a matter of comfort and shouldn’t be dwelled too deep into
referring to the angled forearm, rright
here's what I switched to based on what you've been saying
Yes, if you were shoulder width and had around a 90 degree angle on your elbow, would make it way more consistent
right forearm is straight, 90 degrees off my body. left forearm is like -120 degrees off my body
lots of space, seems okay and all?
i mean tbh i hate having the keyboard out like that
feel my rhomboids stretching on only one side, major imbalance
Well it depends on yourself
i follow, i still gotta find something that allows me to actually have room to aim train
U shouldn’t overthink too much
Just use whatever is closest to optimal but still comfortable to you
i mean im trying to figure out what's optimal rn
You have to find that sweet spot yourself
because i hit my keyboard all the time
If people can be good whilst having their keyboard on their lap, I’m sure you can be good with most setups if you put your mind to it
If you just put the time into aim training I’m sure you’ll figure it out as you go
Currently it just looks like you’re overwhelming yourself with ideas that there’s that best posture that will make you into thanos
instant results usually don’t work out in the long run
as a counterpoint; bad ergonomics are not something to fuck with and just training through it with an uncomfortable setup can do a lot more harm than good
i might try to find an aiming coach to see if that'll help. my ergonomics are out of whack af
Ergonomics wasn’t my point though, I’m talking overall improvement. You could literally have the basic ergonomic factors down and still be healthy and good, instead of wasting time overthinking perfect positioning at your table
ive got too many overuse injuries to not focus on it at this point tbh
well the topic of the convo is getting those basic economic things sorted out, there's no harm in trying to figure out what's considered the ideal and then working from there
personally if i'm not in a 99%+ perfect ergonomic setup i'll injure myself in 1-2 sessions
so like, yeah
You humanly can’t maintain 99%+ perfect ergonomics for a long while
Unless you sit with 0 unnecessary movement and completely like a stick
well that would be very suboptimal because having mobility is rather important for ergonomics and health but this is beyond the point atm
I’m sorry but there is no perfect ergonomics as all types of ergonomics would still cause harm when overdoing things like sitting
It would only help prevent injuries to a certain point
i think you might just be misunderstanding what i'm saying but that's okay
long story short it's good to get a comfortable setup that works for you
This statement itself is so false, I’m just going off of what you said here
Not what I understand or not
I understand your overall point but that itself is so wrong
alright well if you want to keep going at it i'll clarify it for you; i'm suffering from chronic full body neuropathy and it's incredibly easy to injure myself badly while playing - if I am not accurately using my ergonomic habits that i painstakingly crafted through trial and error over the past 8 years since i developed the condition I will injure myself while playing. every time i make a mistake with how I'm handling my pc time, i will hurt myself.
but as i also said it's really not the point of the conversation and now we're derailed 🤷♀️
You humanly can't have perfect ergonomics no matter who you are. You can have GOOD ergonomics but not to the point of it being anywhere near 99%. You can have GOOD ergonomics that suit you specifically but the human body is not capable of having PERFECT ergonomics no matter who you are.
Your situation has no matter in my point at all
semantics
semantics... i've been telling u that it's physically impossible for the human body to achieve perfect ergonomics this entire time
you're just not reading what i'm saying
your definition of perfect ergonomics and my definition of perfect ergonomics are fundementally different, this conversation isn't going to go anywhere my friend lol
let's just move on?
so your definition is binded specifically to you and your needs right
that's all i want to know
and im happy to move on

This is the same with people trying to optimize hitting 169.5 grams of protein and making sure they do 6 days a week at the gym. My brother if you can just hit 160 and train hard 3 days a week you'll be fine lol
Nah you don't train the same if you go 3x or 6x at the gym lol
yh but theres people that are like well if i dont make it 6 days a week everything fails and ill stop training, or if they miss out 10g of protein its the end of their gains. It shouldnt work like that. Consistency will always beat perfection.
If I need to find a good desk and chair height, can I simply copy someone else's desk and chair height if they are the same height as me? Or is that not how it works?
yea, that works
it might be a bit more complicated if your torso lengths are different, but gernally that's a good idea at least to start with
I can say in perspective of time that all the symptoms on the wrist have disappeared and if there is any pain it is after a minimum of an hour of intensive training and only on the forearm and nowhere else
I've been training and functioning normally for a month now
weird
Anyone experiences veins feeling pressure during aim training?
bro does anyone know how i can heal a suspected tfcc injury in both my wrists? its been kinda bad for a year and im almost certain its a tfcc injury
Nice! Glad it worked well for you!
Relax tension
Even when flicking
You should tense only on landing imo
anyone had this pain in this area? what should i do is there an exercise or just take a break
I have I just stretched and did strength exercises
I’m not recommending anything I’m purely saying what helped me
Your symptoms are possible consistent with a syndrome known as “flick wrist syndrome” it’s kind of like a tendinitis (inflammation of the tendons) of the tendons responsible for ulnar deviation.
You may have noticed these symptoms after long sessions of gaming
Mainstay of treatment is to stop playing , do isotonic exercises and stretching before gaming sessions.
And consult physio/consider splinting.
I’m not an orthopedic surgeon nor physiotherapist so I can only give basic management.
Try not to use meds but you need to and have no issues with kidney function/gastric ulcer disease
Then consider NSAIDS like ibuprofen, just basic pain relief
i have a question, i have a non adjustable desk with an adjustable chair is there a height i can put the chair at so my shoulder doesnt come out
why my forearm + wrist got hella itchy/rash after using the kurosun samurai after a bit (the part that touches and slides on the pad)
i used to use a hard pad without a sleeve then with a sleeve and had no problems, am i allergic to dust, or is the pad bad? ion think anyone else ik got this problem. is it also possible its a friction thing? i want to buy a new mousepad and i wanna make sure this dont repeat again
i wasnt sure if this went in periphs or not so ill ask here as well
Yes, if ur chair isn’t able to get high enough you could put a pillow underneath u, a wooden slab/board under ur chair, you’ll need to experiment on your own to find the optimal height
There isn’t a said height that’s optimal as everyone is different, arm length, height, table height and chair height etc
Thank u 👍
I'm unsure about the about the mousepad but, something you could look out for is if your mousepad is abrasive. You could actually have a dust allergy though, rashes from dust are still quite rare even if you were allergic. I'd recommend cleaning your setup more often, take care of your hygiene (if you aren't). Otherwise I'd recommend you going to a health care advisor or even a dermatologist, If your problem is recurring.
The issue here is that so many factors could play role in why you're getting these rashes that nobody here could answer your case specifically. It could even just be a coincidence that you're getting a rash in those specific areas, so i suggest a more thorough look into it.
So i looked into it a little and found that it isn't an abrasiveness issue, unless you're allergic to something they coat the mousepad with so, I recommend option B.
uhhh i clean my mousepad lightly every day n generally im a pretty clean person like germaphobe so i was kinda confused as well
main diff from old pad and new pad is that the kurosun has like slight lines kinda like holes that r part of the weave
Is it normal to feel lactic acid buildup on biceps and shoulder when aimtraining?
Tension over a long while could make you produce lactic acid over after a while if you have bad overall endurance and being unused to being tensed for long. There is no other factor in play than you being tense, especially in your bicep
When you're starting out with aim training it could be fairly normal as you're not used to being tensed up so much, It should go away as you progress in aim trainers and when you actually learn to control your tension
hi does anyone know anything about chairs or where i could go for chairs
whats the budget
that shi mad expensive rly fast
£200
can go up a tiny bit
if it means better price to performance
look up sihoo on amazon
that's a tough price bracket but at least you get smth decent
i was having a look at these, but theres so many different ones the marketing is dumb
used herman miller sayl near you would be the golden ticket
but it's so hard to come by
if you can go 300 or 400, look at a promo on the new Fractal Design chair
wait for promo
a good chair is really worth its price
it's like a good monitor, it makes more difference than the pc lol
i would
but
ive been using this chair now for the past few months after my last one broke
and my back and aim has really taken the hit
and also need to somehow snipe a 5070 on release
looking miserable
shit's rough at the moment yea
i was waiting for 5070ti or std but i"ll skip both lol, gonna play at crap resolution until the Super come out
like the chair i’m using is so bad it’s insane found it in an old shed
i’m on a 7800x3d and a 1650 rn 😭😭😭
king cpu, peasant gpu
yeah literally im just trying to be patient
but anyways
ill look out for that fractal one
if not will have a look deeper into sihoo
i have one, it's really decent
do you know which model specifically?
i think i saw those guys that review erganomic chairs say some good things about this one
it's aight, it's on it's third year at my desk
the lumbar aint the best, it doesnt go quite as high as i'd like, the headrest is non adjustable
but it does a really solid work when i sit in it for 8h straight
can't say the same for any other chair at my place
helped a lot tysm
anyone else get pretty bad tension in specifically the neck and shoulder area
No because that means you are contracting your trapezius/sternocleidomastoid, and it means your arms aren't rested on your table comfortably, you're lifting your arms and your shoulder joint is taking over which overtime produces excess strain without you realizing it
Rest your arms on the table and you'll be fine
0:
alright
i'm still just trying to switch to lower sens and arm aiming so my posture is pretty different
though i feel like i got a lot more neck tension when i was a wrist-only extreme sens gamer
i think im just struggling with getting my arm to move without overcompensating
but i sat further up to my desk and that feels better

My left shoulder blade hurts when gaming, especially during aim training. Any tips?
i have it on my left side, and i dont know why, my arm is on my desk and its comfortable. but for some reason it hurts
The same symptoms as the other person described? Be more detailed
Kindly describe the pain:
where exactly on your shoulder blade? Is it medial? (Closer inwards to your spine) is it lateral? (Outside towards your shoulder itself) or anywhere else
Character (dull ache, sharp stabbing, tight pressure etc)
Does it spread anywhere
We know it’s worse with aim training, is there anything that relieves it?
Are there any other symptoms such as a burn or redness on the area, any issues with your range of motion of your shoulder?
Just a tip for most complaints I’ve seen here
Yall need to train your rotator cuff with external rotation + your lower trapezius muscles to maintain adequate shoulder mobility and strength especially with the position of gaming. It tightens your chest and internal rotation of your shoulder joint, this can lead to a pathological imbalance.
And rest your arm comfortably on your table
where exactly on your shoulder blade? Is it medial? (Closer inwards to your spine) is it lateral? (Outside towards your shoulder itself) or anywhere else
- see picture
Character (dull ache, sharp stabbing, tight pressure etc)
- stabbing ig
Does it spread anywhere
- no
We know it’s worse with aim training, is there anything that relieves it?
- standing up and stretch a bit fixing it for short term
Are there any other symptoms such as a burn or redness on the area, any issues with your range of motion of your shoulder?
- no
i thought about desk height maybe but i tried arround and it didnt fix anything
also my left arm is my keyboard arm
So that’s where teres minor/ and your lower trapezius are situated
Do you strength train? how often? And do you do rotator cuff / external rotation work? And tell me about the length of your gaming in a day with aim training
i did but stopped last year summer now i just do cardio
i play arround 6hrs a day. i have those issues since a year but its getting worse so the pain starts after 1hr already
If you don’t have time or passion for strength training that’s fine
But if you can get a physio massage to relax your tight “gaming-dominant muscles and mechanics” which are mainly internal rotation of the shoulder joint, and strengthen your external rotation it’ll be better. It’s again a common issue I describe above
i tried physio but didnt help much not for long term
I’m not a physiotherapist I just do the referrals, but all you need is some resistance bands, a foam roller/stretches for pectorals and lats etc
- Were you compliant with the treatment
- What did they prescribe? You should have a routine for external rotation strength training via resistance bands at least. I can give you some exercises I used to do cause I had that issue.
And you also need a routine to stretch your tight internal rotators (pecs, lats etc)

Np, happy to help (:
any1 know any good lotions for dry skin that acc last
when i play games i have an extreme lack of focus especially when my enemies peek me i believe this is due to eye strain, i used to take caffeine which made me not notice it, now whenever i play for more than half an hour my eye strain becomes really bad, i already drink a lot of water, try to blink a lot, have lowest brightness and contrast, take eye drops, have a blue-light filter on, and take breaks. i also wear prescription blue light glasses, but the problem always comes back after a while. these solutions have only been temporary and delayed my eye strain but it seems to get worse every time i play.
had the same, could be that u need glasses even tho u might not notice a bad eyesight
like newly adjust cuz ur eyesight changed or so on
i got the prescription a month ago
hmmm okay thats odd then
Yes, ive recently started lifting my wrist, but that doesnt make sense that i feel it in my left trap. Left arm is wresting on the table
Use the stuff used for curing burned skin. Tiny amount daily, lasts much longer than lotions
Make frequent breaks to look at far away objects. Focusing up c'ose for more than 30mins does fatigue the eyes a ton
Is hand weakness and wrist soreness sign of carpel tunnel. Can’t tell if it’s just from gym or aim training 2h a day
does it feel like fatigue or a different kind of weakness
idk it's a bit weird like a tendon thing or something in wrist. like the very bottom part of hand.
that sounds kinda scary
Could be some sort of carpal tunnel syndrom, yes. I would advise you to try to reduce your aim training time and also try to do some wrist endurance training in your gym time, if you can, since it will help you out for recovery and prevention too.
What exactly is wrist endurance. I mean my wrists are already decently strong just from lifting so much but idk about endurance
Well, it's the endurance of your wrist, you know about the fact that if you increase your rep amount and lower your weight for the reps, you will not gain much strength, but you will be able to do the exercises much more than normal, it's kind of the same with the wrist. One of the best resources I could refer to you is from 1hp, here is the main video I like to refer to for endurance training : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_7x46S3Nic
Do you have wrist pain? FREE Wrist Pain Guides Here: https://1-hp.org/gaming-wrist-pain/
Or if you want access to a system that will help you completely resolve your wrist pain without having to go to the doctors office or figure out your insurance: Check this out https://1-hp.org/wristpaintroubleshooter/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=social&utm...
There is also the rice bucket routine that is good, from 1hp too.
But well, I might not have answer your question, now that I think about it, so let me explain a bit more as to why it's might be relevant to your problem and well, I already send a video on how to fix it. The reason why that might be relevant to your problem is that a lot of the case of carpal tunnel syndrome and repetitive strain injuries (rsi) are caused by wrist that are over used over a short or long period of time without the right endurance for it. Some have low endurance and doing 2h of aim training a day for a few day will give them serious injuries, some will do that for a few years before getting injured. The injuries happen when you have used a good part of your endurance, 1hp name is from the fact that they heal at 1hp, but I think that if you go at 10% of the hp of your hand, you might have a rsi after a while, that is why their mission is to increase your hp bat (endurance) to get you better for that. The way you can do it is with some endurance training, like in the video, and to manage the load you have for your hands/wrist and arms.
The reason why it make you feel pain is that the tendons can kind of "collapse" onto the carpal tunnel and make your nerve irritated and that make it that you feel pain and you have weekness too, with better endurance, your tendons will stay in place and not irritate the nerve (at least not as much)
Ok thank you I will try those exercises tomorrow. And ya in my case I went from no fps games for two years to aim training 2+ hours a day and 2+ hours valorant every single day for a month
When i'm gaming my shoulder is in a large amount of discomfort and im constintly trying to find a confortable position and cant its messing my consistincy and during games since i get caught trying to adjust it, any tips
Carpal tunnel's most telling symptom is the loss of strength in the hand. Other things like stabbing needles in the inner part of the forearm, strong burning sensation at the joints are also a thing.
If it's just fatigue, it's fatigue. Make more frequent breaks during gameplay and pay attention to your health, like hydration vitamins etc.
it is still possible for you to tense your trapezius (contract the muscle) without actively forcing a load on your shoulder joint. For example you may notice some people tilt their downwards while playing even unintentionally.
tilt their what downwards?
head?
Yes, or laterally towards their neck
Just now i finished a match of counter strike and iw as tense, i can feel it in my neck lol
playing since 5min and pain already kicking
The same pain in the bottom shoulder blade right?
Did you do any foam rolling / stretches for pecs / lats
And did you do any external rotation strengthening
tried to stretch a bit
Tennis ball between your chair and your back
Best shit ever for anything between the shoulder blades and under
ill try out
if you're early pubescent it might have to do with that, my shoulders hurt a lot around that time in my life.
peeps who sleep on they side, my pectoral aches so fucking bad any stretches you'd recommend
is it good if I aimtrain like 30 minutes after I wake up?
Lateral raises without weights, go as high up as you can
Also, if you sleep on your side use a pillow that maintains your head at a level angle so you don't tense the neck and pecs bc of bad position
Why would you choose to do dynamic stretches against pain that’s already there, there are so many static stretches that would give far greater results
Lateral raises work mostly your shoulders and you won’t get a significant stretch in your pectoral doing them even when you experience chest pain
cuz it wont kill those pecs that are already sore, it's also less intensive on the muscles at risk.
i stated weightless motion, it shouldn't hurt anything but get a decent ROM to the muscle and help get some decent stretch
elbow pain tips?
pain in the bottom of my thumb, like on the palm if u get me from microadjusting on pokeball any tips?
You're too tensed up, you either need a larger mouse so you don't pi'ch it as much or relax your grip, and use your arm more to compensate for the loss of finger mobility
might be the mouse tbf, its a op1 8k, and yeah man ill try that
it went away but its fairly strange as ive never felt it before
I too have issues when using the OP1 8k, doesn't fit my grip that well
i have pain in my hand tendons specifically right before my knuckles any tips?
Can anyone recommend a resource for general setup ergonomics? i.e monitor height tilt etc
Your chair and desk height have a massive influence over your aiming ability. I'll show you how to find your perfect setup while still maintaining healthy ergonomics.

You NEED strengthening for your rotator cuffs and stretches for those muscles. You can youtube pec/lat stretches. As for strength for rotator cuffs, buy resistance bands and try these two exercises: 1. Band pull-apart (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RoL5784uNwg&ab_channel=[BackSpace]ChiropracticFitnessTV) I recommend doing it unilaterally with 1 arm. I tie my resistance band on a door knob and then perform the exercise. 2. Sharapovas (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=krMbY1VKo-g&ab_channel=AretePhysiotherapy) Those were part of my routine, they are favorites of mine. Another exercise 3. Serratus wall slide, but for a hack to keep your rotator cuff activated, put a resistance band between your arms, kind of like you're doing the sharapovas, then do the wall slide, the tension from the resistance bands forces an isometric contraction of your rotator cuff (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXhb6ZFqsn0&ab_channel=BSRPhysicalTherapy) <- so do that same exercise but put a resistance band
Chiropractor Mark Mullan Demonstrates how to strengthen the Rotator Cuff using a resistance band. you can also use a theraband for this exercise
visit us at www.thebackspace.co.uk
The Sharapova is a challenging exercise targeting the rotator cuff and scapular stabilising muscles. It is particularly beneficial in that it works these two groups of muscles simultaneously which is how they should be working to allow full shoulder movement and control. Keep reps and sets low initially, we usually recommend 3 sets of 3 reps t...
The serratus anterior muscle contributes to scapular upward rotation and posterior tilt during overhead function. http://www.bsrphysicaltherapy.com/
As for reps there's really nothing specific but, 10 reps each side x 3 sets minimum 3x a week isnt a bad start. And do NOT forget to foam roll tight muscles! Your pecs, and lats especially.
@uncut pendant also sorry for the late response was covering 24 hr call :Z
dwdw thanks for ur help
Is it normal for wrist to hurt more after gentle massage and stretch. My wrist would always hurt more or have a burning feeling in forearm and wrist area after gentle massage and stretch
anyone know what the muscle/part is located in the upper back? shoulderblades? trapezius?
Yes and no, different people react differently to those things. If it disappears in the same day its nothing to really worry about IF the pain is tolerable
depends the part of the upper back lol
real, but cigs taste like shit lol
im not sure my self, when i look at image its around that part. i think i figured it out looking at previous comment history though im not certain if its posture or just too much tension on my part.
this part is easily affected by chair height/desk height
The middle of my spine feels bruised but isnt. is this a sign of my chair being too high or too low?
Well it’s been going on for over a week now despite stopping aim training. But the pain has always been mild.
Hello guys! I have issues with my posture when playing. i frequently experience back and neck strain/fatigue when playing. Its either my low back or my traps/neck. When i try to sit upright, my shrugging is largely reduced, but i seem to fatigue my low back and hips very quickly (typically feel it within 15min). When i relax my low back and sort of slide my hips forward i dont fatigue as fast, but this leeds to my upper back "collapsing" and i start to shrug. I have suspected this to be a table/chair height issue, however as i am 5 foot 10 and keep my desk at 70cm this doesnt seem correct as many shorter players seem to have good posture at a typical 73-78cm desk. I have my chair as tall as i can while maintaining solid contact with my feet.TLDR: straight posture fatigues my low back/hips, while a more "collapsed" posture causes shrugging and neck pain. I hope someone here has experience similar issues and can provide some tips for me on what to do. Thanks in advance to whoever reads 🙂
Assuming posture is decent, this is probably caused by muscle imbalances from tightness and weakness (common thing from sedentary lifestyle). Neck tightness is connected to trap tightness(lower all the way to upper trap). Probably caused by trap weakness. Would recommend face pulls if you have access to a gym. Targets rear delt and mid traps.
I personally do shrugs, face pulls, and a lot of lat exercises. Lats not necessarily for this.
Nah thats not normal and i guess it didnt really come from the massage/ stretches if it takes that long. Probably just trained too much, and the stuff you did to help it aggravated it
Weak core, weak lower traps/rotator cuff that warrant strenghtening + tight muscles in other areas eg tight hamstrings/quads and tight internal rotators/pectorals/latissimus dorsi
3x a week of proper strength training with correctives, you will notice an improvement
- Foamrolling/stretching of the tight muscles i mentioned
if you're naturally slouching, your core is stronger than your back muscles
when you sit down on a bed or something, does your back have a significant curve?
Hey man, the stuff you described is something called postural pain, which is totally normal. Every posture you are in (relaxed like slouching or active posture like sitting up straight) gets uncomfortable after a period of time (one of the many reasons you move in your sleep and dont keep the same position like dracula). Different people describe this pain after different amounts of time and the general advice is changing your posture more frequently when youre sitting for a longer period of time. another good advice is the one from @tender shale . General and consistent strength training can improve your endurance in said postures, so youll be able to stay longer in those positions before you experience this kind of discomfort
bro what is this
is that Kompott? idk the englisch wor
any stretches to help with pain at pinky area?
Yo, so this thing started happening around 2021 where when my body heat rises or I lightly tense my hand when using my mouse for prolonged periods, my pointer finger, thumb, and pinky (but mostly pointer finger) on my right hand start to get red and hot. They don't actually hurt though, but the heat is annoying and uncomfortable. I've also never had any issues with wrist pain. I assume it started happening because I was grinding my aim hard while not doing the proper stretches. I haven't really grinded since then, but it hasn't gotten better or worse since. Is this very obviously Carpal Tunnel (and should see a doctor)? Also, anybody who has had an experience similar to this, does using a smaller mouse help to alleviate it? I've been using a Deathadder V3 Pro and Viper 8K, but I'm starting to wonder if the size+form factor combined with claw grip contributed to cause this issue
Your rashes wrap around the top of your hand. I have a hard time believing you got this from aim training. You should most definitely see a health care advisor or even go to your dermatologist
It looks like a mild case of dermatitis, you could be fine just moisturising
Haven't really thought of it as a rash, I have gigadry skin tho, so it would make sense. The red colour only happens when my hand heats up. Will def get it checked out tho, tyvm!
Heating makes you dry up to a degree, you could try washing your hands between games or just moisturising
Could dryness cause my hand to heat up? That's my main concern, because the heating feels very abnormal, and why I'm worried about carpal tunnel
No, you holding your mouse and tensing (actively using your muscles) or friction cause you to heat up
For me personally the heat makes me sweat a lot so I use antiperspirant for longer aim training sessions
Ah, I see
Where I live it's actually super cold, so usually the rest of my body is cold, but my thumb, pointer, and pinky will heat up a ton
It's like, my body heat is directed into my aiming hand lmao
Or something is being irritated and swelling/inflaming
When you’re cold your body warms you up, you getting warmth from friction actually makes your hand heat up even more making that heat be able to be directed to your body instead
I live in Sweden so I get what you’re saying
I think I'm gonna schedule a doctor's appointment soon just to be safe, tyvm! :D
In the meantime look for some moisturizer with panthenol while youre at it, your hand looks very dry and flaky. Panthenol helps to rebuild your skin barrier if its irritated by the dryness. And drink alot
@marsh latch @tender shale @median topaz Thank you all for great repsonses! Muscle tightness sounds like the root of my issue. I wouldnt suspect its a strength issue as im an active weight lifter with good upper and lower body strength, however i guess it could also be an imbalance. I will start a stretching routine to try and target these areas and hopefully get some relief.
Yes i do naturally slouch, atleast after some time. Although, my back doesnt completely collaps, but it does slouch
Liver
liver
ahhh
Multivitamin central boyo
True
Im not to experienced with liver tbh, ate it sometimes but mostly in paste form
thats where i cut the line xD
never tried it aside from sausage
i could imagine there is too much iron but i never drank blood
im eating some more right now
which animal can you drink the blood from?
any that you get from a trustworthy farmer
ur going to get vitamin a toxicity dude
supermarket animal blood will probably Make you a woman
nah bro, i only eat it when i crave it
my body knows when i need nootrients
have you eaten blood sausage?
well, my body seems to know when i need donuts
Yes until you get diabetes and rot your teeth and have gut issues from the toxins in the dough and glaze
I think thats kind of an unfair comparison as Donuts are so highly processed but I agree too much blood/liver cant be healthy
I think too much blood is unhealthy beccause of the iron content, isnt healthy if its too much
im sort of joking, but i wouldnt just listen to your body when it comes to consuptions of such nutrient dense foods. its not unnatural to have unlimited access to liver
also why you shouldnt drink your own nosebleed
Its not unnatural
?
its not natural to have liver for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Cuz thats ur blood so if u drink it again most of the nootrients will be losy
i only have it once every few days
like 1-3 depending on how i feel
that sound more reasonable👍🏾
"Hemochromatosis occurs when the body absorbs too much iron, which can build up to harmful levels.
Primary hemochromatosis is caused by hereditary factors, while secondary hemochromatosis is caused by eating a diet too high in iron or by multiple blood transfusions. The condition can cause illness and damage to organs" https://www.healthline.com/health/drinking-blood#side-effects this occurs with almost every blood from mammals, not only humans
You're always welcome, happy to help with what I can 😄 heading to orthopedics and physiotherapy will always be the mainstay of my advice though
This takes a while to reach tho, eating liver weekly isn't nearly enough for that to happen
drinking blood though
Also you mf really eating raw liver ?
Not nearly as dense as liver tho, lots of water in blood
Not once have i eaten raw liver nor do I condone it. Not saying you'll die if you eat it.
Just eat 80% minimally processed nutrient dense whole foods, and 20% any treat food you like, and you'll probably be fine
ight will try ty
or get a wider mouse
if thats your issue with a narrow mouse
I have 18.5×9 hands and using a hitscan hyperlight rn
think the issue is that sometimes I deathgrip my mouse
your photos are just criminal then
but guys listen to this crazy SoB, those foods are good for you
eat horse meat, game if you can, don't shy from fatty pork cuts, etc
variety is important, that's where you get the benefits from meat nutrients
thanks for the advice added some grip tape to thicken sides lets see hwo it goes
My photos???? I didn’t send any 😂
I am
Gotta burn your tongue with vitriol to stomach the taste of sum like this
dude my upper back gets sore when i play a bit
idk if its bc of my low sens and i need to get used to it

In the last week or so I've been having some pain in my hand that I aim with. The pain usually comes out when playing or aim training and I first noticed it after a pretty long session of aim training and since then it comes back. It hurts somewhere in the middle of my hand if that makes sense. I assume it's probably because I am using too much tension/pressure (im learning to use less currently). Should I just try to take a break from all things games till it goes away or is there something else I can do?
just got my maya x bro and this thing
the contact to my palm and the width of the mouse is super comfortable
boys calw gripping my mouse is hurting the bottom of my thumb is it my mouse or jsut rsi ? any exercises / rehab to do ?
(mouse is gwolves hts +4k and an xm1r)
These VDIMs are great, but intense 70+ min aim routines cannot be healthy for the nerves in the wrist 🤔
You can take breaks, and there’s wrist, hand and finger stretches for stuff like that to minimize any injury
its a training routine, like any workouts breaks are essential so that stuff like this does not happen
i almost never play a vdim in it's full form, it's way too long w retries
Need someone to help diagnose my injury and give suggestions. About two weeks ago I've stopped aim training and games because of burning sensation in carpal area when I click with pointer finger.
Context: right side upper trap likely pulled over a month ago during high weight shrugs(apparently nerve in carpal area is connected to this). Normal wrist irritation during push exercises like dumbbell press. started intense aim training in January and did it everyday. Also have to use mouse, keyboard, and pen frequently at work.
Symptoms: extensor carpi radialis longus sore for about four weeks. burning sensation in carpal area. no tingling or burning in fingers. I did carpal tunnel test by pressing wrists together and only burning in carpal area. I've also noticed the back of my shoulder aching. And just today I am getting pain in the back of my hand and even my left wrist has started hurting.
I've done gentle stretches and light wrist exercises and they seem to have made things worse. It's gotten to the point that I can't even do upper body exercises at the gym anymore because it will irritate my wrist. Has anyone experienced this and know of any ways to accelerate healing?
@rose vale @marsh latch @kindred galleon Understood, I was under the impression these routines were supposed to be tried to be played in full at once. Apologies for not reading all the documentation. ❤️
No worries! Good luck
Keep yourself warm, especially the shoulder and injured arm, rest a fuck ton. I've gone years without guitar due to an injury very similar to yours and it's taken a whole to get back in business after that.
If you're in a country where electromyograms are cheap/you have access to healthcare, go for one so your doc knows for sure whether it's CTS or not.
Does anyone have any representation at how much I should stay at the table in relation to my body?
height
Something like this?https://www.omnicalculator.com/everyday-life/desk-height
Or something else? I am not sure I understand what you mean
Not exactly, it is in relation to the height of my arm on the table I do not know if there is a problem I leave it a little raised or should change to be parallel to the body as it indicates in the image
You want about a 100 degree angle, so your wrist a little bit lower that your elbow
So elbow a bit higher than the table, if possible.
If it's way more than 100 degree, like 120+, it might be a bit too much for that and you either want a higher table or a smaller chair. That is the better way to have it for ergonomic, but well, there is some very good players that can still do it in weird position anyway.
I am used to playing with the high elbow, as I try to leave the elbow in 100 degrees I feel lost performance in the target, I do not know if it is a matter of usual
I don't think it will be too bad for you how you normally play, so I think it's fine. I am not an expert for that at all though.
Ok thanks
thumb twitching, wrist tight. Any advice?
also sometimes when i click i get a sharp sensation and prickling down my arm
rest
thats it
yeah
what if it comes back
i had a hard time aiming earlier cus my hand was hurting

anyone got anything on hand tendon pain?
Tension or grip problem
I just ate 1,5 pounds of 90% lean ground beef for lunch
Hello, hope everyone is doing good, need some advice, every time I aim train in aimlabs I get dizzy, I tried changing the background color from bright to dark mode which helped a bit, but 15 min in and I feel dizzy again, plus my vision will get blurry
you need to go to the doctors
Has anyone else gotten severe neck pain (caused by upper back tightness) after grinding aimtraining? I'm about 50 hours into kovaaks and have been doing 2 hours a day. My neck has become so painful that it's hard to move my head side to side. In order to release it I need to use a lacrosse ball to get deep into my upper back and rotator cuffs. This causes me to be sore the next day and I'm feeling a little ill.
My ergonomics are good, I sit up straight, eyes in upper third of monitor, aeron chair. I use the same setup for 12hr+ a day for work and no issues previously, so I'm fairly certain it's from being tense during aimtraining.
Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Should I take a break till I feel better? What can I do to prevent it in future?
I've been trying to sleep earlier so I can get more sleep, but I always end up waking up after 5-6 hours. I can't really get much sleep afterwards either, so I end up feeling tired throughout the day. What can I do to help sleep longer?
Heyo folks, to anybody who might have more experience than me. I've lately been feeling a lot of weakness and shakiness, especially when making movements towards the pinky, and I've been drawing a blank on what it could be. I'm gonna start resistance training for the time being and see how that helps, but does anyone have an idea on what could be the cause?
Let me guess, when you wake up the reason you can't get back to sleep is because you have thoughts you can't quiet? If so, keeping your phone in another room (e.g. kitchen) when you sleep can be a big help. Even if you don't typically use your phone in your bedroom, it helps you get more restful sleep by quieting the mind. After a week or so you'll subconsciously 'learn' that you can't act on your thoughts by checking your phone and your mind will start to have less intrusive thoughts. Meditation during the day also helps a lot, but it's more gradual
There's also the basic but effective sleep hygiene tips: set an alarm for when you go to bed and make it the same time every day (trains your body for sleep), hydrate before sleeping but not too much so that you wake up and pee (keep a log of how much you drink if necessary), use blackout curtains to keep the room dark (use eyemask if necessary)
Chronic tension build up, it's about as common as it gets. Drink lots, eat lots, sleep lots. Exercise is always a good idea. It'll go away on its own if you rest properly
It's such an unsatisfying answer especially when I feel like I've actually been resting well lately but you're probably right
happens to the best of us lol, i'm beating all my pb atm and want nothing more than to play a ton, yet i fucked my thumb w exercise and need to take a break, feels shitty lol
What do y'all do about arm day pumps affecting your training?
space the two out
i keep workouts to the morning, gaming to the evening
Aim train in the morning and work out in the afternoon
Guys I started doing grip strength training everytime before I aimtrain to work my overall muscles in that area because I dealt with pain during long aiming sessions (and also in the gym sometimes, especially when training back) and now I reached a point where I broke my 80kg grip strength trainer, am I cooked?💀
ts why i quit aiming too many sweats
What he wrote isn’t about aiming…, he wrote about him overcoming his wrist pain with strength training because of aim training
Ts why I quit working out, too many sweats. 💔🥀
if you let passionate people bump you out of your hobby you are weak.
Comparison is the thief of joy
does anyone else sleep 12 hours after aim training a lot
Had RSI for almost a month now. Stopped games, stopped the gym, tried every tendon glide/exercise/stretch under the sun I could find online. watched pretty much every 1hp video. not sure what to do now. are endurance exercises bad if you currently have inflamed tendons?
12h of actual sleep is crazy
Is the rsi diagnosed by a doc, or by yourself ?
Myself. RSI is just a general term that covers muscle, tendon, and nerve injury due to a repetitive motion.
Rsi takes a very long time to heal. I've used Reishi and Lion's Mane to great success during this period, ymmv.
Make sure your sleep is the best it can be while your arm heals
💔 there is very clear signs I have tendon and nerve irritation. Seeing doctor on Monday but I honestly doubt they or a typical PT will know anything useful
Have an electromyogram done if possible, it's pretty definitive as an answer as to nerve damage
Pretty sure no nerve damage but just nerve irritation. I’ve seen clear cubital tunnel syndrome symptoms but they were mild and didn’t last long. I’ve had much worse pinched nerve in my leg before and fully cured that through muscle training and stretching so I’m not too concerned about nerves yet
Problem is at work I’m forced to use pencil, keyboard, and mouse a lot so I can never give it a rest
Best of luck, you could maybe try compression gloves or sleeves if the situation allows for it
have you healed and are able to aim train even? I just want to return to being able to perform at work, go to the gym, and aim train as much as i want without worry
just keep in mind to keep quiet with self diagnoses when youre talking with a professional, you never know what doc you get and how he handles his ego with google doctors 🙂
it's gonna be so annoying when he google searches in front of me and prints out the first pdf he finds on stretches. then tells me to "avoid things that irritate it" happens everytime
I'm in better shape I've ever been. Sports has helped me so much cure my nerve damage, it's quite insane. It's taken over 3 years in total
bruh i dont want 3 years i literally just built my pc
thats a reason why you should not do that, make him look for it through talking, inspection, and testing. the typical reason for that what you described is lack of time. and the usual advice that "happens" everytime is because thats the start of it. irritated structures need rest first. a pt is usually for the after care after the inital rest to show you how to load and plan the following training of the irritated structure
You might not be at the level I was, check with your doc. Ask for as much testing as he'll let you
I've rested it for almost a month now to the best of my ability and it isnt cutting it
pain is at the start always a warning signal that something may happen in the long run. if you ignored that warning for a longer period of time until something happens, its on you mate. the body told you, and you didnt listen, so you gotta deal with the consequences 😦
I've had mri, shoulder echographies, emg, lots of other tests before finding anything worthy and actually meaningful
if you really injured something and it has to heal, youre in for a ride, a month is nothing in typical wound healing
man i guess there will be no egirls for awhile then. ill just have to come to terms with that huh
bro wait for monday and see what the doctor tells you. if youre not satisfied press for a sports doc or pt
I think I'm starting to develop carpal tunnel, I've got a whole bunch of the symptoms (tingle in the fingers, wrist/back of forearm pain). I'm a Comp Sci student (go figure lol) and when I'm not coding I'm playing Val or some other FPS, which is probably why it's affecting me.
Any advice on how to cope with this?
weight lifting, rotator cuff exercises and wrist and finger exercises really helped me
used to have severe wrist pain and shoulder pain
a youtuber called squatuniversity is my goto for physical therapy videos
Baller, thanks for the advice!
NP
also if you're playing for long periods try to stretch out your wrist and fingers every 1-2 hours just so you dont get stiff
i have subscapularis pain can someone help me
tennis ball between your chair and your back
roll it around and massage the scapula
thanks
my shoulder is damn sore after playing ultrakill and then valorant all day what do
i know i should treat myself better in the long term but how can i reduce the soreness now
not much you can do , youll get used to it and the soreness gets less after a while. just be sure to differentiate between soreness and pain. soreness is not needed but "okay", pain is a no go
yeah well i just meant more like can i massage it somehow to make it better right now :v
yeah, you can wait until it disappears
Same advice, use tennis ball and your chair's backrest
Does anyone have any experience with pain in the hands knuckle area that largely goes away when wearing gloves? It's driving me nuts tbh, it won't go away and the fact that gloves soothe the pain is confusing as fuck. Have no idea what's causing it
Any tension within the fingers also tenses the knuckles. Sounds like you death grip or have an unnatural mouse grip, perhaps a tension problem by itself. Using gloves helps linder the problem because less tension is needed to hold the mouse thus decreasing pain
It could be an ergonomic issue where your just unaligned or at the wrong height
Making ur fingers have to compensate for the lack of stability
Joints
When gloves helps, most often it's the compression factor that alleviates the joints. Add more collagen to your diet
should i be able to do an hour straight of aim training? how do you guys break up your practise? im using vdim on kovaaks, i find my arm fatigues really quickly, like its properly painful
i usually to a 2-3 minute break after my eyes get tired or i lack concentration. Happens mostly after every scenario block, sometimes even earlier
I don't have any problems with clicking scenarios, I can do them for hours. But after 10 minutes of target switching or tracking scenarios, when I have to press the left mouse button, my wrist starts to hurt. So I just bind fire to spacebar and press it while doing tracking scenarios. In this way, my wrist doesn't hurt. Is this bad for my aim, and should I play tracking scenarios with me pressing LMB and do some exercises for my pain? If so, what exercises should I do to fix my problem?
Space bar use is fine, it doesn't change anything. Doing exercise is always better than not, stretches as well
How can I tell if I push too hard in the gym?
You don't recover after 3 days
Within session, if your vision blacks out for a sec and sparks start flying. And also if you fatigue starting from first exercise and you can't seem to pick up your breathing to normal until end of entire sesh
Across sessions, what half note said
Thanks guys
Genuine question, how to best fix my sleep schedule?
I have an important exam in 5 days and I have to be up by 6am to get there on time.
Problem is, for the past month, I have always went to bed around 5am. So obviously that is gonna be an issue lmao
Would you recommend me trying to wake up early for the next 5 days even if I go to bed late or would you recommend me to pull an all nighter tonight and let that (hopefully) fix my sleep schedule forcefully?
wake up at 11am go to bed at 12am
I wake up 11am everyday but I am still up until 4-5 lol
Earliest I can go to bed is like 3💀
just turn off the lights n lie there
no screens in the bedroom
Is your issue that you fear you will oversleep day of the exam and miss it or that you won't be able to properly study these next few days
My issue is that I want to have 8 hours of sleep on the day of the exam but I have to wake up at 6 and going to sleep at 10pm seems absolutely impossible to me
I will definitely not oversleep. I always wake up when my alarm rings, even if I barely slept. I just dont want to be tired DURING the exam. That is my only issue
Easier said than done I only have one room lmao
But of course those screens are all turned off when I actually try to sleep
Seems like ur overthinking sleep
If 10pm seems impossible try earlier or at least the latest would b midnight
And turn off all electronics and notifications then play like white noise or sleep sounds
yeah novaskat is right, ur overthinking sleep.
I'd argue being harsh on yourself and being fatalistic about it will hurt more than a few less hours of sleep.
Not having 8 hours of sleep is bad when it compounds over many days, so you sleeping less hours for the next 5 nights hurts your chances. you not sleeping 8 hours day of the exam is meeeeh get 8 hours of sleep these next few nights whatever the schedule and you'll be up and running
biggest exams in my life I took on 2-3 hours of sleep. my sleep schedule was good, it was just the anxiety of taking the test tomorrow that would have me rolling in the bed for hours. its perhaps body's way of dealing wit it
you know Georges St-Pierre the UFC legend? he said the only time he slept good before a fight he took an L. so dont sweat it bro, study and get 8 hours in these next few nights. ull be good
I am just coming back to aim training after not playing much for the last like year or something and I am having alot of issues with over tensing and shaking that I have never had before. Anyone have any suggestions for getting through that?
how do you stop turning off your alarm?
try gripping your mouse with the lightest possible grip, then playing precise tracking at high sensitivity till you manage to stay with that really light grip for the entire minute, take deep breaths and try to exercise
avoid excessive caffeine, above 100mg could affect your shakiness
this app called "alarmy" in the play store (android) is an alarm that makes you do missions to deactivate the alarm, such as taking steps, jumping, or solving math problems or scanning certain qr codes so that it makes you actually turn on your brain when you hear the alarm and you can't fall back asleep (the alarm will never turn off unless you complete the mission) it has helped me for so many years it's incredible
Anyone else ever felt cold air on the top of their hand after a bit of aiming? Like,as if it was slightly wet and you could feel the air breeze (really weird question, but happened to me yesterday out of nowhere and its making me worry)
And no i didnt have a fan, anything cold near my hand or stuff like that. No external factors.
it should not be a concern unless you start experiencing tingling and numbness, it just seems to be a nerve/blood circulation quirk
even if you don't get to sweat you can experience slight perspiration due to blood flow and muscle use and the moisture evaporates making it feel cold
it could mean you're tensing too much, or maybe you need a little bit to get used to it
Tension > warmth > moisture > your arm becomes much warmer than the air - you’re just over heating when aim training
is there any way to fix it in case it happens again? really messed me up for that day
because from what i know tension is something i keep really well under control, but maybe i should keep myself in check even more
you could try a dehumidifier
or keep a tissue near you to clear the moisture
has anyone used omega 3 supplements for dry eyes and if so does it work?
they do work but you can also obtain omega 3 from fish and other foods, and don't forget to drink lots of water
astaxanthin has had more of an effect for me, omg3 is kinda imperceptible
my hand naturally rotates outwards whenever i am tracking and such, is this an issue that i should be worried about?
That's physics lol
does gooning affect aim
my forearm gets really tense and uncomfortable when tracking long distances making it difficult to practice properly because it forces me to reset
Up your sens then
honestly not sure why but I always feel groggy, tired and demotivated
I get decent sleep besides waking up alot in the middle of the night
I get exercise usually because I work most days
sheesh, you got ascendant bro wp
Yea especially with my fuckin tiredness and lack of focus 😭
Was annoying but I’m pretty close to immortal now
stop eating wheat entirely, it changed things for me grogginess wise
i start to strech my wrist all day but i stay playing i thik its make my wrist better but i not work and my wrist clicking
I also drink caffeine a lot but sometimes it just ain’t even do anything
you build a tolerance to caffeine, if you dont take breaks it becomes useless
I mainly used it before I aim trained and gamed but it started becoming a daily thing
But besides the point I’ve felt like this off caffeine so
If my desk is too high and my chair doesn't go high enough, what can I do to adapt the setup?
Pillows make my back go weird on the chair since it is not straight...
Does anyone have issues with melatonin waking them up in the middle of the night a lot?
this can happen due to consuming melatonin way too close to sleep time (you should do it 1-1.5h before sleeping) or due to a really high dose
and just a heads up, i had a friend that genuinely wondered why melatonin didn't work and he then told me he drinks 4 energy drinks a day because "they didn't affect him"
when i do clicking (one that goes fast) my arm gets tired and i dont do aswell as the first 20-30 seconds. like i might get 70 in 30 secs but 50 in the next 30 secs
anyone know how to fix that
That j sounds like muscle fatigue
keep doing it more often and ur arm should get use to it and you wont fatigue as fast
is it normal to have really shaky aim but if a apply pressure with my middle finger my aim is smooth
it's actually pretty normal, the small tension that you apply with your middle finger can cause stability on your arm/hand by distributing the tension evenly and engaging muscles that wouldn't be otherwise
the only case it'd be a concern is if it causes you discomfort, pain, strain... otherwise just adapt your grip this way
while it works well in kovaaks because my aim button is untoggled, in other games it hard especially when i need to hipfire but my whole hand start shaking
maybe a new keybind for my aiming would work
I only really drink under 200 mg like 1 serving of gfuel or occasionally 1 energy drink every once in awhile, I do take melatonin an hour or later before bed. And I don’t really drink caffeine past 4 pm so it has some time to go away before bed time
do you also wake up in the middle of the night when you dont take melatonin?
Yea but not like as often but it still happens
do you eat carbs before sleep?
try eating a small carb heavy meal before bed to avoid a cortisol spike
can cause you to wake up multible times in the night
maybe some magnesium too if you dont already take it
helps reduce cortisol
less likely cause is sleep apnea tho it shouldnt be related to melatonin
i would try and see if taking melatonin closer to bedtime would help for example 30mins before bed AND AVOID SCROLLING ON YOUR PHONE BEFORE BED
oops caps
keep in mind that you should ideally use the energy provided by caffeine through exercise to be able to make your body tired enough before sleep
use blue light filter if you don't already
yea exactly melatonin is a tool not a fix for bad sleep routine
people like to think melatonin will kick you to sleep and such but in reality it will only help you stay asleep if used correctly
Literally never heard this said before
Just keep in mind caffeine half life is 8 hours, so last caffeine intake be 8 hours beforw sleep
i heard it from my coach back in 12th
The latest
do know that caffeine does not fully leave the system in a loooong time even after that
Yeah but its peak drops after that and it disturbs sleep minimally after
caffeine in small amounts (<75mg) can even benefit sleep
using the crash to your advantage
though there is no reason to consume 200mg of caffeine as a sedentary person
it can have many downsides
it aids with working out
caffeine blocks adenosine while exercise wont get rid of the caffeine in your body it will create more adenosine making the caffeine less effective that it is
I do it because I’m tired 24/7 I never feel rested, and usually before gaming or work
caffeine blocks adenosine while exercise wont get rid of the caffeine in your body it will create more adenosine making the caffeine less effective than it is
unrelated but i felt like that before i was diagnosed with ADHD, that "constant fatigue" that never goes away
medication solved it
definitely something worth speaking about with a doctor
I’m taking anti depressants
it can be related to chronic fatigue syndrome
Okay but talking in terms of gaming here, how do you exactly recommend take caffeine-exercise-gaming trifecta?
thats ur problem
ah yeah thats
when i was on antidepressants i couldnt stop waking up during the night
amphetamine anti depressants?
Its weird linking caffeine intake with exercise unless your coach specifically recommends that to you as per your regimen
But thats not meant for you to generalize as advice to others
amphetamines are not anti depressants, they are stimulants used to treat adhd, and they can have fatal outcomes mixed with other antidepressants !!!!
my bad i meant stimulants
methylphenidate is an amphetamine i take to treat adhd, my doctor warned me that i cannot ever mix it with an antidepressant
years ago though i was misdiagnosed with depression instead of ADHD and the "chronic fatigue" was associated to that
no thats just ritalin altough it is a stimulant its not an amphetamine
i take vyvanse/lisdexamphetamine
which is a slow acting form of dextroamphetamine/adderal
completely right i was confusing it with my previous medication (adderall) which used to have a huge crash on me
adderal is too unstable for me
antidepressants did make me have sleep issues like that one
Get educated on caffeine consumption brev, advice here seems to be pretty shih
I have gone over sleep problems with my doctor and he thinks it was anxiety/depression related
what is ur source btw just curious
caffeine is most likely to cause problems falling asleep and sleepquality but constantly waking up in the middle of the night points to a bigger issue
Talk to your coach and ask him whether he recommends you forwarding his advice to you to others
not the question i asked !
It’s still probably fine as long as you take it early and awhile before sleep
But the answer you needed
tuff
WHICH YOU AINT IN A POSITION TO GET AT HERE AND SO YOUR ADVICE DONT QUALIFY
and this is why you don't let ego take over you
who are you to make assumptions about my qualifications?
thanku for ur time
I can tell
Because no qualified professional would do it
With the level of information given here
Tell someone to consume caffeine and sweat it off with exercise
if you were able to understand what we were talking about you would notice that we were not telling him to consume caffeine rather we were recommending not taking to much caffeine
complete opposite of what youre accusing
chatgpt
i invite you now to argue with a bot that has likely taken thousands of sources into account almost entirely from professionals on the topic
wwe were pointing out that at his low dose of 200mg it was most likely not contributing to his sleep issues
they took the caffeine pretty early on the day
yea I take it really really early
yea exactly
i consume 400 mg caffeine daily and take amphetamines yet i dont suffer from sleep issues
because i have a sleep routine and exercise daily
its about exerting more energy than you gain
I slowly exert that anyways
if u think I should do a slight workout later I can
just to exert some of that energy I might have left
idk
this is exactly what i tried to express
my coach was surprised that there were people who consumed several energy drinks a day and just stayed in front of a screen without exerting their energy through exercise
she told me it could lead to shakiness and anxiety
yes most definitely stimulants in a nutshell make ur inputs stronger and harder to control which leads to shakiness
feeling tired and being tired are two different things
although being linked they are seperate
Physically like I’m fine but my mind is tired and I just wanna sleep
most likely your anti depressants
because they increase serotonin which although serotonin can help you fall asleep its distrubts your rem sleep
yea but I felt more tired and took naps more often off them
before taking them or on days you dont take them?
when i was on antidepressants this was a constant
is there a way around that while still taking them?
like some months I would get off them
cuz I felt "better"
first off, what antidepressants are you using
and then I ended up feeling much worse
there are several kinds
yes and no
diet plays a big part
40mg of fluoxetine
yea i magnesium could help
just use this rule of thumb, if you feel worse with the medication than without it, that means the problem is the medication
after going through several antidepressants i was diagnosed with adhd and it fixed every symptom i shared with major depressive disorder
they're easy to misidentify as adhd comes with similar symptoms
the thing is just it takes time to really tell because withdrawl might play a factor
I feel like I have shown signs of ADHD but idk
i really meant as in prior to the medication
yea ADHD is like a fukin mimic of mental issues
as i said, i was misdiagnosed with depression (or maybe it was derived from adhd) and after i started adhd medication it fixed every issue i had (such as chronic fatigue indeed)
they even were suspicious i had BPD
but adhd just has so many outcomes that ressemble these disorders
yea adhd can mimic BPD, Depression and alot more
def seems like something I could mention to my doctor
could be worth it
i mentioned it to my doctor after my friends told me this possibility and they were right
either you do have it and you get proper treatment or you dont and ur at the same place u are now so no real negative
from day 1 of medication all my problems were gone and it felt like every piece of the puzzle fit together
its been so long I can't even imagine feeling better, like it just feels normal lmao
same altough i spent a big part of the day just staring at a tree outside my window
i spent over 5 years with the "am i depressed" "am i bipolar" "am i bpd" "am i CFS" "am i just acting what is wrong with me" then it was just adhd and it was solved in one singular day of medication (i was lucky to find the right medication first try)
yea ever since I entered middle school
given the wrong medication, or the wrong dose, you can act like a zombie and stare at the ceiling in bed for hours
taken like 2 different kinds of antidepressants, seen multiple doctors, phychologists, therapists
could very easily be adhd
true
i faced incompetent doctors that were like "what?? how could you ever have adhd?? you are normal!!"
never once was ADHD mentioned
lmao
I do move around alot
shake my legs
lack of focus, motivation, tiredness, mood changes sometimes
because adhd is hard to diagnose correctly because symptoms often vary daily or weekly
