just wrist? or do you feel it in fingertips too?
top left side of elbow?
Uh yes mainly.
It varies at times I will get it on both sides inner and outer elbow
Akin to what from I've looked into as tennis/golfer elbow
Pain originating from the wrist but can be felt in the inner elbow as well
any tightness or soreness in your neck or shoulder area?
that's probably the source of all of it then
I assume that would be a height issue?
As I don't have rounded shoulders or a humped neck
posture related, head rotation, muscle weakness, stuff like that
it can be subtle but if you're going hard gaming it can be enough to hurt you
Yeah, it's something that's gradually got worse
I've taken a around 2 week break
Came back and it got worse as the day went on
I'm trying to mess with posture and height and.it still seems to be extremely straining
It's also resulted in worse and worse shaking in my wrist
My smoothness is like 20x
Worse
I get muscle spasms when trying to use my wrist at all
Either direction
something that helped me was raising my monitor a bit so I'm not looking down as much, also doing this very gentle exercise where i'm pulling my head straight back, chin back like I'm deliberately giving myself a double chin
that, some work on rotations a bit, and making sure my shoulders dont get as tight when I play
What are rotations?
but it's really delicate, you gotta be careful
Just ulnar and radial deviations?
damn I'm forgetting words I think
uhuh wrist movements left and right
no no, i'm talking about neck
I see!
I just make sure I got full range of motion and dont hold the same position too long
Well I'll look into some neck stretches in any case appreciate the pointers
As I've been lost 👌
I learned that the hard, injured myself from stretching! 🥹
it's never as quick and easy as you want 😭
Truer words have never been spoken
combining the stretches and some neck/shoulder/upper back muscle building exercises and giving a hard look at your ergonomics should help
expect a good deal of of trial and error though since necks like to be very stubborn
I'm in for the long run, I'll figure it out. 🫡
How do I fix Forearm tension when aim training and a Shakey wrist?
forearm tension legit just relax, shakey wrist will go away with smoothness training
ehhh guys i have pain in my thumb area it shouldnt be carpal tunnel since sometimes when flicking or in generally using it after arm movement it feels like its my elbow area in which the culprit lies are there any exercises i can do for that or should i go and see a doc its not so painful that its unbareable but its honestly not comfortable either
now that i am actually just trying to use bmy wrist i am certain that its my elbow
i have no pain in the fingers whatsoever
Thanks you! I wish I could help you with your problem as well Thank you for helping mine! Hmmm but is it just the right thumb?
Bought a gyro ball because having wrist problems is it fact of cap it helps? I put it down to my tension management
For reference I get pain somewhere between these two lines
I tried stretching, I workout forearms nothing seems to help
It usually goes away for some time but if I train/play quite a bit it always comes back been suffering with this for like a year
the whole underside of my arm that i have on the mousepad here starts to hurt after a bit of val deathmatches (my sens isnt that low its 52cm)
just a shot in the dark but what kind of grip are you using? tried different grip styles?
def a sitting position issue, either the chair is too low or the desk is too high
how often do you workout per week ?
is your mouse wide enough for you ?
i get hand pain when i do aim training i just have a normal palm grip
but i think im holding it too tight
however when i dont hold it tight i just feel like the aim will be bad
Relaxed claw
Maybe your right I do think about ill try switching it a little bit
Start by relaxing one part at a time
first the forearm, then solely the wrist, then the fingers. Work relaxing in isolation
its only my fingers that are hard grip
nothing else rlly
maybe palm actually
you'd be surprised at yourrself
youre gonna find that there's more tension than you believe, even up to your shoulder, side of the neck and your back
anybody got an invite link to the 1HP discord server?
Soooooo is it over for me, right hand my pinky and ring finger have no feeling I don’t have strength in my hand, I severed my ulnar nerve that nerve you hit on your funny bone. I know I have 4+ months of therapy but I don’t think I’ll have the accuracy I used to
I think you got more important things to worry about than mouse aim
Well I’d like to play game on my downtime before going back to work
Use a controller
Can’t that nerve goes through my hollé hand stretching my thumb hurts
Can wrist stretches and exercises improve wrist flexibility and mobility? Recently my wrist has been feeling very tight and jittery whereas 6 months ago it was not like this at all
maybe this although it's pricy and It's not out yet https://www.theverge.com/2024/5/15/24157529/microsoft-proteus-controller-xbox-accessibility
why does my eyes slightly hurt every time i go aim training
Hey! looking to see a PT in-person soon but if you could give any pointer or advice I'd appreciate it!
I'm not 100% confident but I made this graph in attempt to identify where it feels weak BLUE X would be the main points of where I feel the most "stressed, or straining, or weak It feels comparable to having worked out your legs to the point where you cannot use them (shaky, numb, weak) so extreme even when you try they just fail to operate. I have been resting around 3 weeks and just getting on for 5-10 minutes results in this feeling the past few days I've tried!
I'm not feeling any pain anymore! like I was but It's still super weak!
how should I respond to ppl who say "ggs" or "ff" "i give up"? i really want to try and salvage a game
bro was saying gg's after a teammate lost a 1v1 at 1-5 💀
stop typing and reading the chat altogether
if it's voice chat just say shut the fuck up and call the next round
Last few weeks I noticed my right hand ring finger started to hurt almost like it was bruised. But it wasn’t visible but today I did some lawn work and really noticed how bad my mobility on my ring finger is now. Do you guys have any suggestions? Do I change my mouse grip? Do I seek a doctor?
doctor
hey i am getting some pain in my rhomboid for my mouse arm, what could be the cause of this. i have noticed i have not been using the back rest of my chair so much recently as it feels a bit restrictive with vertical aiming
might be leaning too far forward?
is your chair high enough ?
i am not sure, its about 48cm and my desk is 72cm im 6ft]
Make sure you arent overstraining, try using darker themes or reducing the brightness and try following the 20/20/20 rule, i know a lot of aim trainer players who have dry eyes due to the nature of this
anyone know why when i do this warmup drill where i just lower and raise my hand when i go to raise it a hear a pop noise every time
what is the 20/20/20 rule?
i had tendonitis in my wrist recently and now i cant seem to be able to microadjust properly with my wrist like theres always a feeling that my wrist is somehow asleep and when I try to microadjust its like weird idk
Take a 20 second break to look 20 meters away every 20 mins, instead of every 20 mins you could do every 40 mins
its when u look at something every 20 mins for 20 seconds
this
i thought it was 20 feet?
Yea sorry my bad, @gritty terrace its 20 feet
oh i have heard of that rule but i completely forgot about i
thanks for reminding me
When I focus and get in the zone for aiming(usually this when my aim is good)
After long periods of time….i would feel pain in the centre of back
Like on the muscle fibers over my back bone in the dead centre of my back
Is my posture in correct? Am I doing anything wrong
could be posture or just holding tension for too long, we're not supposed to stay in 1 position for long periods of time
Could be just that, guess I’ll take short breaks in the middle of the session and walk around for sum
could also throw in some upper back strengthening routines to help
Alr, ty🤝🏿
is a flared elbow ok?
I think I need to take a break from aim training and just play.
I've been on aimlabs for the better part of several months now, and it feels like I've immediately plateaued. It's absolutely demolishing my mental and I need to step away.
I understand it's a marathon and change will be slow, but being hardstuck gold with several silvers doesn't feel good.
I appreciate the tools, but I think I care too much about improving and need to just play and relax more.
peace
used to be in the same spot actually
it really is honestly just a mental thing
but try to get as much help as u can
took me a long time just to get plat
I'll probably come back to it, but I'm going to try to play to have fun for now.
I'm in the same spot too ngl it for me is starting to feel really stale but it is a really slow process for me at least to improve
It's okay, you only need to worry if it's painful.
Guys what "energy drink" would you suggest that is a good nergy supply, that doesn't cause lot of health issues. Like what i'm asking for is even something to drink maybe in the morning that can give me a lil bit more energy. Maybe to integrate it with my breakfast. 🙂
Coffee or my favorite is tea with strawberry honey
I think i'm going for tea as i don't like coffee 🙂
anyone got some experience with carpal tunnel symptoms?
i start feeling numbness after like 10 min of aim training and im not sure if i should just fully quit
i started doing some exercises to prevent it that i found online but it hasnt really helped yet
uncertain how bad it is to continue aim training while these symptoms are present
bad, nerves take a long time to heal
figure out what about your ergonomics and habits is hurting you, gets lots of rest
i honestly feel like im not doing much wrong except for having a decently high sense (29 cm/360)
maybe i grip too hard as well
i always do stretches before playing as well
the only thing that im aware of being really bad that im struggling to fix is my neck posture
neck issues could absolutely contribute to these kinds of symptoms
interesting, guess i gotta get that sorted somehow then
its really hard not to move my neck closer to the monitor
If you're wrist only on that sens it's going to be hard
Just started aim training this week and i feel like i tense my arm way too much to the point my arm starts slightly hurting and i take a quick break to stop the issues, im currently playing on 60cm/360, what should i do to avoid tensing this much as i don't feel like it's a good thing.
recently started aim training again and im getting a tingling/sharp needly pain on the right side of my right hand and arm. Is that normal? If not how long do I need to rest or should i stretch before playing?
ive been in this condition for well over a year now where my hands and wrist cant handle doing more than 5 scenarios cuz it hurts and feels strained. ion have a weird mouse grip its just fingertip or claw (not aggressive) but i feel like i got long term dmg or sum anyone got experience on this
mouse shape and sens important for fingertip
im on around 52cm/360 sometimes i just get into the habit of taking my palm off to flick downwards or upwards sometimes becuase my mousepad is kinda old and it got more friction even w armsleeve
are there recommendations to which mouse grip somene should use
im using logitech superlight 1
not normal, what you are feeling is a nerve injury. make sure your posture and ergonomics arent messing you up here and that you aren't tensing too much. the moment it starts feeling off(hot, cold, itchy, tingly, painful) you should stop and reevaluate. depending on the severity and if you keep reinjuring yourself trying to power through it can take weeks or sometimes years to heal
at least in my experience ulnar symptoms (half your ring finger and entire little finger side of your hand) usually are from poor neck posture and muscle tension, but it could be anywhere on the line from your spine to your wrist and hard to pinpoint
oh dang alright tysm. i’ll definitely be taking a break then.
if the symptoms dont subside, see a doctor
should i wait a week or so?
yeah see if it gets better
it wont go away in a week

How do u guys determine when u should start playing games/aimtrainer again after an injury?
I imagine playing as soon as the pain is gone isnt optimal
might not be optimal for your skill but definitely for your overall health
Nah i meant it for your health
Like do u really wanna get right back into it as soon as u feel fine
Or is the healing period actually longer than that
Guess i worded it poorly
u got this
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6173218/
this protocol has been very helpful for my wrists
seemly have a pinched shoulder, or neck nerve any advice for speeding up recovery appreciated. 👍
My biceps shakes when tracking
Hand shaking and sometimes hurt while aiming.
same
I feel like that's death gripping issue
Try using less tension as possible
And stay calm
Hello since a few weeks ive noticed a problem with my eyes when i play video games its like my view is blurred but in real life i never have this kind of problem i can read from far away etc i mean i still have 10/10 on both eyes but when i play video games its like my eyes can't keep up with whats happening on the screen. I bought anti blue light glasses but it didn't help fyi a lot of my family have myopia like my father, mom and brother so maybe thats what is happening to me and im gaslighting myself into seeing i see as good as before in real life if you guys have some advices i would gladly take
quick question
is porn that bad?
no
what's the argument
porn is not good to watch often
it might make it more difficult for you to form relationships later in life
And why's that?
Feel like its a pretty deep topic and might be easier to google tbh
If u can interact normally with girls and shit or whatever ur into and form an interest then i doubt u gotta worry
I mean I'm already in a relationship
But I can feel that it consumes
A part of me
Desensitizes me, is the right sentence
Maybe it pushes u in a more extreme direction sexually
honeslty ngl idk the science of it i just hear it online
and in my eyes why take the chance of actually ruining any part of me in the future for something i dont need
you can 100% do what you would with porn without it
Oh yeah absolutely
and if you feel like its consuming you it might be a problem
but if its something you do every now and then i dont see a problem
but in my eyes if your watching it every day and it feels like an actual part of your life its better to cut it off
Not that bad fortunately
good
Just curiosity
ahh
makes sense
its mostly dependent on you imo
you gotta be honest with yourself and see if theres a problem or if it is just for fun
Any tips on healing my left wrist other than seeing a doctor?
see a doctor
4th finger starts cramping up sometimes when aiming,, any advice?
I read this on the aim journey guide, and my wrist does not arc but more than half of my arm lies outside the table, is that a big issue?
Image for reference
@stark chasm idk guys in my experience porn doesn't ruin my aim ahahah
I am doing some routines and feel calm, keeping my hand and wrist relaxed. However, now I can feel my bicep shaking. Is this a muscle weakness issue?
if you have started training recently it's completely normal in my opinion, consider that my entire arm was feeling weak and shaky for the first 3 months
i've only now started feeling a little bit more self confindent
also i suggest you to do some excersise for your entire arm (wrist, fingers, bicep and shoulder) you can easily find them on internet
i personal found kung fu tai chi routines very useful for me, but idk it's just my experience
🙂
If you’d stand up and stretch after every game, which stretches is recommended? Are there some common stretches to do after games that attacks the common problems or something similar?
I'd say some stretch for the back/neck/arm and wrist
You can search some basic exercise on google or maybe some here knows some
I think there is some stretch exercise in #resources
Thanks
np mate 🙂
Hey we have free guides for fixing any kind of wrist/hand/forearm pain on our website! https://1-hp.org/gaming-wrist-pain/
Thanks
yo im gradually starting a pretty aggressive daily aimtraining routine for a game. some days by the end of it, my fingers or wrist may feel strained or overworked for lack of a better word and ive been considering icing it for a little while after the session is this a good idea?
like resting a icepack on top of my hand for a short timebasically
i'd just get a bit more rest and think about how hard you're tensing when you play
If you need to ice it on a regular basis you're going too hard
is it bad to only use the gyroball on my aim hand or should i be doing it with both hands
1hp has nice wrist/hand routines you should be doing
On youtube.
@tame lark
@tame lark
You'll get the most benefit from your aim hand but it's good for both!
You have to be doing these exercises to keep your endurance up so you don't end up with tendonitis https://1-hp.org/gaming-wrist-pain/
Any advice on treating elbow pain around this region?
hit my "funny bone" before an fps game hiatus
this was like two months ago
What do y'all think of an under-desk excersise bike? i use it for like 2 hours a day sometimes more.
also if i need to get blood into my arms i throw it onto a nearby surface and use my arms on it quite intensely.
its gets u moving bro thats good
does it feel like that funny bone hit
yea i think so
make sure you dont keep your elbow bent
make sure you rest
make sure you dont put your elbow on hard surfaces
sounds like ulnar nerve pain
👍 good idea
Is it better for your wrist to keep your wrist/bottom of palm on or off the mousepad?
And would doing the wrist and hand stretches by 1hp every day reduce any risk of hand injury
Is it normal to feel my forearm tired/sore after long sessions? they don't hurt, they are just feeling... tired
likely overtensing and/or doing too long of a session
I play 1h30min-ish + other games almost daily
feel like my injury isnt recovering at all
if anything its worse than before
really hoping the wrist brace will help soon
i understand that its slow but damn not being able to use the pc for anything interesting is depressing
My left wrist is already starting to feel symptoms of carpal tunnel after swapping to it for about a week (havent done anything intense)
Is it over for me?
Are my nerves this dogshit
no but you need to keep in mind it doesn't need to be intense gaming if you are already injured - just existing can contribute to injury if you aren't taking the correct steps to remedy posture issues, muscle weakness, poor ergonomics, etc
it's 100% frustrating and discouraging to have to figure out what is wrong and how to fix it and frustrating to have to change up your routines but in the long run you will be able to play again and be healthy again and that's what's important here. for now you need a combo of real rest and physical therapy, and when you do use the pc you need to be using good ergo or else it will all be thrown out the window and it'll set you back again.
I wasnt injured with this wrist before though
I guess back problems might contribute but still
Very discouraging
Maybe exercising in general will help or something
I feel like my body just shouldnt be this weak
if it's neck/back problems it'll affect both arms to some degree, at the very least it will be very easy to develop symptoms anywhere
I see
like you gotta remember it all comes from the spine, if you have an injury at the nerve roots in the spine (ie; disc problems or alignment issues due to posture or whatever) it'll be a bad time until you can correct it and keep the inflammation down so it can heal
I see
I did buy a new chair at least
Hope that will help the back from feeling like shit all the time
But it takes time still
hoping it helps! rooting for you ❤️
Thanks
strengthening my core and upper back helped me a lot
Any exercise routines that u have saved?
mind you im not a doctor or a trainer or anything but i had a few helpful things but i wouldnt touch em until things have calmed down (at least a couple weeks with noticeable improvement)
Fair enough, i have a doctors appointment next week so ig ill just wait for that
good, that's the best plan
walking is generally™️ a safe bet to gently help with spine mobility and basic core, just be mindful to not be leaning down to look at your phone or the ground or something though since that's a common neck hurter
i can only aim when i use claw if i dont use claw i cant aim but claw hurt so much
does anyone know why my arm gets so jittery when im tracking a target, but only when its moving right? my arm physically cannot move in a smooth motion, it'll just keep flinching essentially and sometimes it'll be big flinches and i'll massively overshoot the target, this never happens when im tracking in the left direction so i'm starting to think it's an arm issue rather than a game issue
from what i've researched i have fine posture, so i don't think it's anything to do with that
you're probably using too much tension and exhausting your muscles
that's what i thought too, but the same thing happens when my arm is fully relaxed
at first i tensed quite a lot but over the past few days i forced myself to stop doing that
regardless of how much tension i use i get the same results
not any better/ any worse
can you move your arm smoothly when you arent holding a mouse?
it's much smoother without holding a mouse yeah but still slightly shakey
have you played a bit already today? you said you were tensing a lot the past few days maybe you're still a bit fatigued from that
i havent played yet today but i suppose it could be fatigue, i play games much more than i should
i might try rest for a day or two and see if it gets any better
worth a shot, then just focus on being gentle and smooth
gotcha, if that doesn't help ill try set a webcam up so i can record my arm movement and post it here
sounds like a plan ❤️
yo i'm starting to see symptoms of rsi. Should i just stop using my pc at all for a couple weeks and see if it gets better or be a responsible adult and actually go see a doc?
It's not severe at all. Just noticing it and i'm a bit worried for my wrist cause of all he horror stories and i started taking a break as soon as i noticed it
actually not sure if it's rsi too. It manifests itself in feeling strain in my wrist and it feeling tired i guess
depending on what exactly the problem is you're probably fine still using the pc so long as you are mindful of what positions and movements start causing symptoms and avoiding them, it's good you are taking it serious and not trying to power through any discomfort
but when i aimtrain it's definitely more of a painful feeling
Thanks for the advice. I'll probably just be really careful and if it doesn't get better in the next 5 days i'll go see a doc
be gentle and take breaks even if it's just walking around the room to reset a bit, think about how much tension you are using, how hard you are stressing your joints, and your posture
Does posture affect it that much?
Because i definitely have a horrible posture while aimtraining
and i was deathgripping my mouse at the start so that probably didn't help. Started doing the "think about holding an egg" thing though
yes, strain in spine in the neck and upper back/shoulders area are a big cause of nerve injuries affecting the arms and hands
Interesting
posting this again since it seems fitting, if you hurt the nerve roots you'll experience symptoms down the line
makes sense
ie hurting your neck can cause tingles and pain in your fingers
so sitting like this is a bad idea
that would be correct ❤️
you dont have to be like stiff in your posture, make sure you stay relatively loose and mobile
You should be doing stretches in the first place, and if the pain still persists, seek medical assistance. 1HP has nice vids on youtube
Yea def take it seriously
It took me one week to feel carpal tunnel like syndromes in my other hand after swapping hand and using my pc regularly
My neck is crooked af and its causing all sorts of problems now
I just disregarded it and assumed it would be a visual problem
But nah this shit sucks ass, def take ergononics seriously
this is peak gaming performance
exactly i'll start botfragging now :(
the right side of my neck/arm hurts when i play specifically,im right handed and i cant figure out why
likely due to posture and holding too much tension in your neck/upper back while you play which is putting pressure on your nerve roots, be very careful
i will say that i have chronic neck issues but i feel like my setup is pretty decent in terms of for my posture
it can be a real pain to precisely figure out what works and what doesnt but listen to your body, once you start feeling it do not try to power through the discomfort since it can lead to debilitating nerve injury
I've been starting to do pullups recently, but I don't have a pullup bar.
I only have stairs on which I can hang sort of, but it squishes the skin on the bottom-palm part of my fingers.
This makes the skin very sore and broken if I do it too much. How can I resolve this problem?
It causes problems with both juggling and aim training, since I normally grip the mouse with that part of my finger, but now it feels like there's annoying shit in between that I can't get out (it's just my broken skin).
Find a pull up bar and apply panthenol on broken skin
I dont have a pullup bar in my house xD
and Im too lazy to go run to the nearest pullup bar outside everytime I want to do a set
you can get one pretty cheap
literally just get one
I'm certain you can get one for free if you look in the right place, or at least very cheap
there's not really good place to put them in my place
Do you have doors?
yes, but not really good place to put them there
I think you might not be aware of what a push up bar is and how they work
Ok, feel free to explain to me how to safely mount a pull* up bar when there's no good place to do that here. Does it float on balloons?
your house doesnt have door frames?
not good place there no
man i'm having covid and really bad fever
but why is my aim so good all of a sudden 😭
like, the first time in my life i feel like my aim performance in games actually corresponds to my mouse control that i've been practicing for 2 years
and all of a sudden i am breaking PBs in really hard scens where i plateaued for several weeks
sometimes when your body is in a shitty state, it can give a boost to your brain.
From an evolutionary perspective, this was necessary in caveman times to make sure you survive even in harsh moments where you need to have your full brain capacity.
huhh okay that sounds interesting
but is there a way to carry this state with of performance with me once I recover?
or do i have to lick every gas station toilet in sight in order to stay sick & keep this state
I cannot recommend ways to intentionally make yourself sick or stay ill.
Remember, your long-term health is far more important than any temporary gaming performance boost.
Do you know what a door frame is?
You probably needed a break
Let me just explain it, very simply
you get a pull-up bar, potentially for free or like, a dollar and spare change. You put into the door frame. You do your pull-ups. You remove the pull-up bar until the next time.
I didn't take a break tho
well, i did, but that was 2 weeks ago
Thank you I received the guides and got the exercises. however I've held off on doing them cuz the back of my hand still feels kinda irritated (havent trained since this started). should i start doing the exercises daily now or wait for the irritation to fully clear
been like a week since it started
Yup even if it's irritated you can start the exercises!
ty for reply<3
I don't know how this is relevant I already said this isn't realistic
Do you live in a country without door frames?
my wrist hurts a lot sometimes when playing
I live in the Netherlands
Then stop playing and fix Ur wrist first
Playing through the pain can cause much more severe injuries than what you already have
actually pretty cool
my shoulder doesnt do what i want it to do
it doesnt hurt that much, but it just lags behind
any tips?
any tips on trimming my beard?
use glue
Any questions about health, let me know. Here are my credentials
Top 1% in voltaic McDonald’s league
ive spoken to my doctor and my neck isnt that bad apparently, i guess im just really weak
does anyone have any good general exercises that they found helpful in building endurance?
ill try the wrist ones ofc but i figure i should train my other parts as well
in my experience they basically never find a glaring problem either.
one of my personal favorites is using an exercise band to pull across my chest to strengthen my upper back between my shoulderblades
core stuff like planks can help
alright thanks ill give it a try
another favorite of mine
remember to be very gentle, see how your body handles it before doing too much
i'd recommend starting without weights or bands at all just to make sure you arent going to reinjure yourself
also another reminder i am not a doctor or physical therapist, just someone who has gone through it™️
Hey I would look into doing this routine! https://youtu.be/z-gKyE_7wWg?feature=shared

Hey guys! I did it, I created the perfect posture routine for us. This is likely one of a few posture walkthroughs I will come out with for our community. This is a routine which addresses postural syndromes of BOTH the upper and lower body. Future r...
Careful with overhead press if you don't have good control over the muscles that move your shoulder blade upwards you can develop subacromial impingment syndrome which sucks. This exercise is the biggest reason I saw people in my clinic for this condition
thanks for the heads up!
thanks ill check it out

Hey there guys, my forearm always feels tensed for some reason and I think it makes my aim not smooth! I used to have really smooth aim, but after I did the Jitter aim technique in Apex my smoothness in my aim has been really bad any help to fix this problem? :D
van dyke style looks pretty decent imo, manly and formal in one
are there any exercises for posture, targeting the spine?
@quiet plank

I have slight pain in my wrist. Might be RSI, might not be, either way I don't want it to get worse. What should I do?
ironically the pain started after I did the wrist stretching routine linked in resources. I think I did the movements too exaggerated and forceful
first step should basically always be to rest it until it feels better, then be more gentle next time you try the routine

chapter 4 of this doc: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JKKSBWXHM-V5C9gMhVFWQgsHwVLcVMgb/view
is the one I did
I've been doing the mobility routine (ch3) before I do any aiming for a while now without problem. I only recently decided to do the stretching routine before I go to bed
Can someone review my wrist stretching routine
its 4 stretches
so one is the classic stretch where you stretch your flexor by pulling your wrist and palm back
and then the other one is the extensor stretch
the 3rd and forth is just stretching is side by side so I pull my wrist to the left side and then the right side
https://youtu.be/74eHCazxWXI?si=-_v78Bya6kr0nrb8&t=186 just these two strethes but I dop the extensor one with a fist

A lot of people recently seem to have hurt their wrists. Or maybe I'm just hearing about it more.
When they ask for stretches, I basically tell them this.
Keep in mind, that this may work for grade 1 sprains, but more serious injuries (like ligament tears) will almost certainly require some form of medical attention.
Legal Notice: Consult you...
thats the four stretches
is this good enough
i used to do strengening but my wrist snaps and it feels like the inside is getting whipped lmfao lol
Thank you! I don't know exactly where my Forearm pain is fully but I think like the top of the forearm in the middle is where it happens the most!
Hey, weird question but is it at all valid to plunge or rinse your hands in cold water/ice before/during/after aimtraining or using mouse and keyboard in general? Speaking in terms of health, performance, or comfort??
Not as a way to mend bad technique or death gripping the mouse, just in general
Or another thing is can it just have a neutral effect? Or could it be harmful??
I mostly wash my hands with ice-cold water and I'm wondering in both directions
If you live in a cold country and you have just been outside putting your hands in warm water is great to get the blood flowing.
I m pretty sure if you put your hands into cold water you will slow down your blood in your hands
is it normal to feel a bit of tingling in my hand/arm when doing a posture routine?
its quite minimal but im not sure if thats a sign that i should rest further or not
Are u sure the edge of the table applies no pressure to your forearm
im on about the exercises themselves

Hey guys! I did it, I created the perfect posture routine for us. This is likely one of a few posture walkthroughs I will come out with for our community. This is a routine which addresses postural syndromes of BOTH the upper and lower body. Future r...
was following this but felt tingling during it
was the good morning Y exercise that caused it i think
Oh it's 1hp, I have seen some of their vids
Likely your tight pecs are compressing the nerve that goes down into your arm causing the tingles. it's ok because the goal is to make those muscles longer so they stop compressing the nerve. but the tingling shouldn't last for longer than the stretching
Alright thanks
i've been tryna work on a routine using VDIM, but i find that my.. stamina ig? for playing for a while is really bad
i start getting headaches, or my mind starts wandering or my target acquisition gets weird
I noticed that i sometimes forget to breathe so i'm working on that at least
but y'all have any suggestions how to reduce this feeling?
I don't get it if i play say an hour or longer of FPS game like apex or valo
It just feels suuuppeerr fatiguing tryna concentrate as hard as I do when aim training idk xD
Hey! I've been doing 2 of these excericeses/stretches and sometimes I feel like a little bit of pain after I finish the 2 stretches. I don't know if this is apart of the stretches, the pain doesn't hurt it might just be discomfort but I am curious if this is supposed to happen! :D I usually do the Top forearm Stretch and the Bottom Forearm Stretch
That just means the muscles are tight, as long as it isn't more than 5/10 pain you should be ok.
Are you doing the endurance exercises too?
Ohh I have not!
Yeah I have only done it for 2 days and the highest pain I have had is 4/10!
I'd highly recommend starting with these https://1-hp.org/gaming-wrist-pain/
Oh Ya! these are the ones I do!
genuine question, are any of you stoners and how does it affect your gameplay?
about 3 weeks ago, i returned from my 12 day break from gaming and when i got back on, just after 1 day i had shoulder pain, it went away on its own for 1 week but now its back, i usually go for a 5k run after my gaming session and the pain is worse off always after finishing my run, tried doing the 1hp shoulder pain exercises and the pain actually went away for a day but just wanted to know how long will i have to continue with the exercises for because the pain returns when i stop doing the exercises
You should do it always
It's better to train them
oh
To be entirely honest we can't predict how long it will take
Like idk what happened
I m gonna have like over a 4 week one
i used to workout but due to some other priorities i have not been able to do it for a month and a half
alright
Hello! I’ve had knee pain in my right one to be exact for about a year and a half… I lift weights about 5 to 6 days a week, it’s specifically when I do like a squatting movement hurting more towards my upper knee kind of like a tendon type of pain.
Right when I do a squat I feel the sharp pain in my upper knee
You likely are putting too much pressure on your kneecaps when lifting (Anterior chain dominant squat) I'd focus more on a hip dominant squat https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dpapTXF4Qs
The hip dominant squat is going to be training the squat movement pattern, but with the intention of achieving a full lengthened or stretched position for the glutes. Brace the abdominals when unracking the weight, safely walk back, and position the feet to allow for maximum hip flexion. Keep the chin tucked, abs braced, and neutral spine. Initi...

hello i have pain in my finger joints like needle stabbing. its not carpel tunnel got it scanned doctors cant say anything whats wrong with me sometimes my fingers feel like old door that refuses to open kidna stiff its been months of not using my hands i started slowly and tested way to much its bad again has anyone had this issue? what can this even be its so furstrating not even knowing whats wrong with me
Hey this sounds like textbook tendon irritation. I'd start here https://1-hp.org/gaming-wrist-pain/
Having cold showers before exercise to not strain muscles is somewhat a thing so might apply to hands too?
this is kinda what started me wondering
I sometimes have a cold shower before going to boxing training and find it helps with priming my muscles and tendons so I don't strain something, but have overall found the best thing for wrist health is holistic in terms of keeping good overall health, nutrition, strength and flexibility training etc
But if you don't have a powerball already get one, have found that really therapeutic for various wrist injuries and building strength and fine motor control
Lmao put soup cans in a cloth bag

ive woken up with a tight lower chest
any ideas what this could be
google hasnt been helpful
when im playing a tracking scenario and im holding m1 the whole time my thumb and pinky area will start to feel really weird like stretching? idk how to explain it but i feel it like vibrating and it always messes with me
my wrists seem to feel really good right after stretching but the feeling goes back where my wrists just feel like
idk just cheap and shitty and just feel like a cheap toy
but sometimes when i stretch they also can feel worse
I've seen recommendations to bind fire to shift or spacebar, so for scenarios where you are firing the whole time you can just hold down a button easily with your non mouse hand. It helps with tension management.
how long should i wait after a workout to commence aimtraining?
I play with a claw grip with my wrist and arm laying flat on my mousepad, is this considered "wrist anchoring" and is it bad?
i think you should get that checked out if it’s still there. don’t think that is something that could be diagnosed over internet
i feel like when im playing my brain can never focus on targets especially when they are far but if i sit back and watch someone else play i can focus on the targets perfectly fine i dont understand why this happens i feel like im only using peripheral
HELLO
try stretching
try physically zooming to your crosshair
Sometimes like around this hurts so much
Maybe its my grip?
I use clawgrip
My like my middle finger
Doesnt rest on the m2
Its like kinda floaty
My pain started there as well and spread alot, id advice u to follow the 1hp routines or pain specific exercises
For me it got so bad that i couldnt play games regularly so id def take it seriously and maybe chill with aim training for a bit
Lowkey my fingers are hurting too 😭
Go youtube and search 1hp routine
There are a bunch of moves you can do that will help
If you’re unsure, see a dr/physiotherapist
And also, u can scroll up and find the hp1 AI tool thing that has been linked here
Either check out 1-hp.org or go to their yt
How can I manage the tension? I move the mouse excessively and I shake.
hi
Reduce ur speed
Use a speed that you can control while hitting the most shots
Should be easier to manage tension
And also your sens might be too high
Its good to change your sens every now and then
This is my suggestion but a pro could probably help you more
I slow down my speed, I focus entirely on the bot, but suddenly I find myself tense
i feel like when im playing my eyes can never focus on targets especially when they are far but if i sit back and watch someone else play i can focus on the targets perfectly fine i dont understand why this happens i feel like im only using peripheral
Hallo!! guys! when I do the Bottom forearm stretch where you make a fist and put the fist down while pulling on it the bottom left of my wrist starts to hurt a lot there, and it only happens when I bend the Thumb correctly, in order to make it not hurt I usually just rest my thumb on my two fingers instead of curling it! Any ideas on how to fix this problem? :(
hey I would start here! https://1-hp.org/gaming-wrist-pain/
The thumb muscles are likely tighter than the rest of your finger muscles, I would ease up on the tension there or only pull down as much as is comfortable until they start to loosen up! \
Thank you! :D 🙏
could having heavy astigmatism affect my aim? (looking for some workarounds if so, my doctor didnt "change" my prescription since my last visit)
twitching sensation in my arm that causes my wrist to twitch while aiming
help plssss
seconding this, i've used it for other games too
9 minutes feels a bit long but it flies by and you can cut a couple of the ones that apply less for your usecase
made my hands feel a good bit better for sure
when i play in the morning i never eat until like 12-1 could that negatively impact my performance?
A) when do you wake up
B) when is the last time you ate
C) it depends
7am and last time i eat is like 7pm yesterday
Is it normal to have a bit of clicky clackyness in your wrist when you are rotating it at the extremes of it's motion
when i aim train i subconsciously hold my mouse really tightly and after a few scenarios my wrist hurts
it might be because dynamic scenarios make me really tilted but when i play valorant, even if im tilted, my wrist never hurt
This is most typically referred pain from irritation of the rotator cuff
From my experience we typically see some rounding of the shoulders, poor overall shoulder strength and happens with more shoulder / arm based movement
Really common actually
These injuries keep happening to aim trainers. If you have potato aim or feel you can't control your mouse as well... this video will help clarify some things

Going to just drop this here since I go over the two most common areas of pain that ppl develop while aim training
Hello, someone can explain me why my hand are constantly shaking?
Check out the video above and the healthy aim training one linked to that one as well.
Generally shakiness is associated with poor overall strength and coordination (brain to muscle signaling) of the muscles we use frequently to control the mouse. It may have presented as some stiffness early on and the frequency may have increased over time
Consistently performing exercises is the solution but also being patient as it takes time. (It also takes roughly 6 weeks for tissues to make adaptations for strength, a bit shorter for nervous system changes)

Alternatives to red bull/3 espresso as stimulants to study?
Helps a lot since im ADHD
methylphenidate or amphetamine from your doctor
Not possible since I live in Italy
Amphetamine based drugs aren't legal to prescribe
Methylphenidate definitely is legal to prescribe
in Italy, it's the most common in Europe anyways
amphetamine based ones are usually better for adults

Most often associated with poor overall endurance of the muscles you are using based on how you hold the grip, your sens, etc.
If you hover your arm then you will likely be utilizing more of your forearm extensors (muscles on the top side of the forearm) for movements that require you to lift the mouse and flick - this is more commonly with mid to large angle flicks
We typically recommend having some forearm support but if you prefer to maintain that mobility then it's important to perform exercises to build up the endurance of those muscle groups
When I aim train, even for just 10 minutes to pass the time, I always notice my left arm randomly tensing/spazzing while I play and afterwards. Idk if this is something common or already covered but I was just wondering if anyone had a similar experience
its like my body dont wanna aim train
perhaps you just arent used to at a certain pace of aim training
my eyes always used to tear up if i was pushing for the hour mark while aim training, now i can do 2h+ and not tear up
remember to take breaks whenever you feel bad
alr
yo, quite deep topic : i want to quit gaming etc, but feel like i can´t since the "online world" - friends, games, socials - is everything i really have anymore because i wasted a fuckton of my time of my life online and am not really connected to the real world, which is also the reason for my wish to quit. just dont know how to do without falling back into it
take a shower, go to sleep and go outside tomorrow
just do random irl stuff
start by going outside
also ur 16 year old
I have wasted more time online than you have been alive, and my IRL life is pretty good right now
i mean for a 16 y/o my times are insane, in r6 & val alone i have over like 14k hours combined
Yeah, but that doesn't mean you can't just do normal stuff
see your friends, ask them if they want to go do something outside, or even just visit them
or your relatives
i mean i will try, i just know that its gotten that bad, that i feel akward around irl people ._. im fr a no lifer xd
will try to just replace online with going out and being a kid again, dunno how i´ll do but ill try
i already finished school
I mean you can do both
started when i was end of 5y/o
okay then apply to the next level
i tried but didnt seem to find the balance
tbh when u start living a normal life and earning your wages you'll be happy when you don't have to deal with people
which seems normal when you consider that when i was 9 i already spent nights 16 h daily playing tactical shooters
And one thing about growing up is realizing you have things that you enjoy doing and there is no such thing as normal
and if you are healthy and happy, you shouldn't feel ashamed of what you do or what you enjoy doing
but it's summer so it's the perfect time to log off
yea i guess so, im melting xd
have fun ^^ and thanks
And on Monday I will be grinding games again
After aim training for an hour or so my pinky gets quite stiff and sore does anyone know what could be causing this
i used to have pinky pain when using the op18k cus the mouse was too narrow for me
layered some grip tape on and now its good
Is that the tape to place your finger on with the little arrows
idk what arrows youre talking about
i cant really tell but those look like mouse skates lol
whats the difference?
grip tape gives more grip to the mouse surface
those on the pictures are for locking your finger into place
which part of the mouse did you place the tape?
the sides, to make it wider
try working on ur physical health
refine ur skincare routine, start doing calisthenics like i am now
and go discover clubs, visit a library and start reading again
life feels so refreshing when u actually tap into reality and realize ur potential
Damn those tips actually sound more interesting than i thought, i didnt actively think of All that in years D:
Thank you!
🙏 if u need any insight on anything i mentioned my dms always open
anyone knows what could cause pain in this part of the arm only when aim training
prob a nerve problem
is it something serious?
I don't believe so if it's only while aim training
Sometimes i get nerve pain if my elbow is somewhat above or below my hand for a prolonged time but I'm not a medical professional
ok
it also can be a muscle fatigue issue as well
left eye tearing up after literal 5 minutes of aim training please i beg help
blink
LOL
Just relax more ig? You're over-focusing
blink
nah fr though, I suppose there could be a possibility that your eyes are too dry because you don't blink enough while focusing so much on the scenarios .
Could use eye drops before gaming if you commonly have issues with dry eyes.
wdym what
yea ive tried and still doesnt exactly work
its only on my left eye
i cant just blink subconsciously only from my right eye lmao
and the left eye stays open
just try to put water in your eyes beforehand, won't necessarily fix it but worth a try.
Otherwise I can always recommend eye drops, as already mentioned.
aigh bro
lemme spray a bottle
I usually just go to the sink and put my hand under (after washing and cleaning), then hold it over my eye and let the drops fall in.
then my vision is blurry for like a minute so make sure to blink and move your eyes a lot afterwards.
and then it should all be good to go after like 2 - 3 minutes
thanks bro
improved my score

i have quit a month ago
cant expect much
actually surprised im hitting new high scores even if im worse
taking a break does't always reverse your progress, but may even have an opposite effect ^^
hardstuck above 94%
i literally cant move from here LMAO
yo @lime galleon
another top score
this break was....... amazing
Maybe you been taking too few breaks then lol
also do you have a fan in your room or anything that moves air around?
yea but its not put towards my own uh left eye
na its just
i had 40 hours of proper aim training
and then i quit for a month
due to the fact that even if i could vod review myself and fix all my issues
i am just a lazy ass guy
my fault
._.
well, guess we may have found the issue.
try to position it in a way where there is an equally calm airflow around your desk
and don't put it too close either
its not the air flow btw
i had this issue uh
a month ago too before i quit
i guess my left eye just isnt used to seeing flicks and stuff
My hands get very sweaty when I play, anybody know how best to deal with it? I usually try and wash my hands every 15-30 mins or so and I find that helps for a bit. My room isn't that hot, but I think just when I do aiming that my hand really heats up.
Don't really know any other solution besides buying "gaming" gloves, which are designed specifically for this case.
What type of mouse grip do you use? Palm grip?
If you use plam grip you could try switching to claw grip in order to reduce the surface area that you touch your mouse with. Furthermore you could try out mouse grip tape to establish more grip ^^
anyone know what could be causing soreness/tingling pain in those areas
it only starts hurting when im aim training or playing a game
perhaps you're putting too much tension into your finger(s)?
try to take breaks in between and relax your muscles
Is it good to take breaks after aim training before getting into gameplay?
I think this is very individual. If you tend to have a high intensity warm up, you might wanna take a 5 minute break in order to relax your muscles and your thoughts.
I see,
I play the bardOZ Valorant Advanced routine then do some other warmup in game, but sometimes my wrist or my hand feels 'sore' or 'tense'
But I treat the routine as more improving my aim overall rather than a warmup that just gets me ready for the day and doesn't focus to improve aim long-term, so I thought a break should be fine, so ig I'll take a small break to see how it treats me
anyone know why my right armpit is starting to hurt? ive been playing lots of deathmatch rn but ive never felt this before
Yeah its a palm grip - I'll look into switching my grip or some kind of sleeve.
guys just bought a gyro ball and was wondering if u had any tip on a correct usage
also i planned to use it 10 min after my daily training session, tho should i use it before the session or after?
i'd really not suggest u to switch grip has u would force urself to play with something that's not comfortable for u
u should get a sleeve
i have ur same problem and a sleeve was the solution
Pulsar and Wallhack sleeves are what i find to be the best for me
hopefully it can help
Right. I'll look into those sleeves.
try antiperspirant if your not into the idea of gloves, worked fine for me until i got my sleeves
longterm cost efficiency is better in gloves/sleeves but your hand/arm freedom is better with anti perspirant
if its gaming related its most likely posture or muscle strain otherwise you should look it up
Yeah, I prefer the idea of buying something once rather than needing to keep applying some kind of spray. But as you say, maybe wearing a sleeve will just feel weird or lower my range of motion/control.
id say sleeves improve your control in the longrun as the glide is way more consistent
compared to your bare skin
i do however recommend sleeves as its way more simple then applying anti perspirant before every session
its super annoying to do so for me atleast
My keyboard fingers are feeling fatigued after a lot of adadad when playing. I have a palm rest with proper ergonomics. No pain necessarily, just fatigue. I notice that I feels more difficult to open and close my keyboard hand. Any ideas?
lack of stamina
play osu
either you strain them too much
or press down your keys too hard
same thing really
also, im not a supporter of palm rests
give it time
Same, A lot of people sit at suboptimal heights and angles so it just makes things worse. Not everyone, But way too many by far.
is it normal to have your arm tensed while flicking when click timing ? if no how to stop overtensing ? cause I can't do it more than 1 hour without it hurting, but it feels slow if I do not tense it
@open ivy sorry to @ you I bought a 1hp session and it says I do wrist curls I assume it's a daily routine. I also am wondering why you would do 3 sets of wrist curls everyday? Whats the difference from doing them everyday and 2 times a week like a workout program
Session? The troubleshooter or guide?

Thanks a lot
Yep of course
I haven't aim trained in a few weeks but i still play games but I've started to get pain near the ulnar nerve on my wrist down to about half my forearm. It doesn't hurt that bad or anything but it feels tense kinda? a bit weird to describe.
the day before it started I wasn't straining my wrist, just an hour of ow and then got off. The next day I went to work and it started hurting/feeling off 3-4 hours into the day. Does anyone know what it could be or what I can do?
go to a orthopedic
I don’t think it’s that serious yet? It comes and goes in intervals and seems to be gone for the most part now
what does the pain feel like
Nothing crazy, it doesn’t hurt all that much but it feels tense or sore I guess would be a better word
any loss of feeling, tingling
pain in fingers
Nope
One thing I have noticed is that when I hold my mouse there’s more pressure because I rest my hand a little tilted to my ulnar side and it tingles/feels numb more after some time
I should also add I work at an office so I’m almost always using a mouse during that time and typing
can you recall where it feels numb
I’ll send pics in a bit
This is a slight exaggeration of how I hold my mouse
And this is the area where it’s numb, but more so where my pointer finger is
odd
take breaks, make sure to keep your elbow at a 180deg angle when you can
if the pain persists for 1-2w+ or gets worse see someone
Yeah I’m about to go on vacation so hopefully I’m good after that, I’ve been trying to been cognizant of good posture and not tensing my wrist. I’ll make sure to see someone if it keeps going
with pain on the left side of your palm its usually not something that might stem from the wrist
focus on keeping your elbow straightened or slightly angled
Okie dokie thank you
i want your garfield plush
It’s a pillow pet, I think it might still be for sale? Idk we preordered it lol

does anyone know why i get cramps in this part of my hand? ive been playing pc games daily for like 5 years now and its only just started, nothing changed in terms of the mouse i use or the way i hold it
do stretches
why does my right hand get so cold when i play? i notice nothing with my left hand but even after 30 sec washing my hands in warm water after a deathmatch or 2 it goes back to being super cold and makes me play worse
what parts of your hand?
fingers and just the whole hand really
cold could be signs of a nerve issue and/or a circulation problem
im confused 3L of water or just drink instinctively I heard both
Well, are you sweating? then you need to drink more
If you feel thirsty, it's usually too late already when it comes to hydration
Best way to monitor your hydration is to just look at your pee
3-4L per day
How tall should a monitor be? What's the proper height to prevent neck pain or discomfort?
hey guys i wonder where can i find some advices about how to adjust my arm or chair height ? my arm and wrists are actually burning even after a one week rest.
there is a page that provides charts at what height should your chair & table and if i remember correctly also monitor be in i also think voltaic has this somewhere
i have this problem when i play fps games sometimes where it feels like my eyes get "glassy" from focusing too hard
im thinking this could be related to monitor size/colors
i drink water in between every 2 - 3 runs of a scenario so i dont think its a dehydration issue?
hello to the nice people of voltaic, whenever i'd train or literally do any other activity, my mind is constantly going over so many things to the point that i'd lose focus or have trouble doing whatever the activity at hand.
in my case with aimtraining, i feel that my potential is getting limited by my mind given how loud it seems even though the only sound i hear is silence and the sound of hitting shots and spawning of bots. (music doesn't help, if it has lyrics if find myself wandering off as to the what why of the song)
uhm i guess its also important to note that in my family we have undiagnosed autism and ADHD/ADD and the like, and my family does openly say that i seem to have the worst case of ADD. The reason why its unchecked is because medication or anything that might help is hard to find from where we come from. for medication, Aderall is actually illegal here or any other doses that are the same as aderall, and the only medication you can get here thats similar to aderall is at a incredibly lower dose and at a significantly larger price.
my question is, what should i do to improve my general mindset and reduce the noise to help me actually focus on the task at hand? its been taking a toll on me for the longest time and even while just playing i find that my mind wanders on and on
get diagnosed and start medication
every other advice is waste of time and detrimental
or I guess, starting to exercise 5-7 times a week can also help
but diagnosis and medication is usually the only solution
Short googling says you can get methylphenidate, which is about as good as amphetamine based drugs
buy powder from the man that sleeps behind the kfc
About the monitor height...
Should I really let the top of the monitor be on my eye level? I always need to tilt my neck to look down for aiming and I was thinking if this could give any problems
Or if I just should let the center of the monitor (where my crosshair is) at my eye level
Like what you like
I've found that doing light exercise in the form of yoga which helps me focus on my breathing as well as doing journaling throughout the day reduces my mind wandering and racing when doing things like aim training or chores/work.
Maybe it could help you out too?
how can I stop myself from angling my arm to the left alot, and also stop myself from moving my arm further up my mousepad all the time? It gets uncomfoartable fairly quick and would like some help on ways I could prevent it
I've tried adjusting my desk height, and over time I'll also feel some discomfort in my shoulder area. I plan on getting a new high end office chair in about a month/month 1/2
@open ivy could you dm me? I'm looking for advice for carpal tunnel and fibromyalgia
Im looking for some advice,
I have had my right eye lid twitch throughout the day randomly for maybe the last 14 days
I went to the doctors they said its normal but i have never had it last this long maybe a day or 2
I'm not sure if this would be good advice, but when that happens to me I just squeeze my eyeball/eyelid
Yeah I tried that + massage softly but no affect
is it okay to aim train for more than 2-3 hours a day if we took breaks in between
I personally say 20% of your gaming time is enough
rest spent time in the game i play mainly
sadly i do not have interest in other games right now so i am only aim training when i am on my pc, that's why i want to know if it's bad to train for more than 2-3 hours with some breaks
I think 3x 1 hour sessions will be fine with few hour breaks between
personally I do 1-2 hours a day if im not playing any other game.
Otherwise I would do 15-20 min on rampup playlist then game, then 1 hour of vdim playlist
Obviously if anything starts to feel weird like pains numbness stop training for the day and keep hydrated and stretching
vdim is the voltaic daily improvement method?
i only do that but the thing is i mash it with matty's method where i set every rep to 1 and only move on if i hit a certain threshold and most of the time it's 10-30 minutes on each task so yeah sometimes i reach 3hours and i am not even finished with the playlist
it totally depends what you want from your training I guess, for me I mainly play cs2 and valorant so the main 3 IMO is
Static Clicking
Precise Tracking
Speed Switching
Do you have other eye issues? What is the humidity like? Is there problem with the air wherever you work or live?
Just my right eye mate, been warm weather in uk
nothing wrong with them just eye lid which is twitching randomly throughtout every day so far, from waking up till i go to bed

I hope this is the correct channel: I have an commonly occuring sensatory issue while using my mouse intensely for longer times. On one point my pinky gets really irritated (feeling wise, no visible impact on skin ) from rubbing on the mat constantly. I was looking into sleeves but they all cut off the front of the pinky, where my irritation zone is. Do have any idea how to prevent this rubbing sensation for my pinky?
You could always wear a sleeve plus a soft glove and cut the fingers off that apart from the pinky?
good call, what type of gloves do you recommend? Those usually intended for digital artists? @urban spear
No idea mate just any that you dont mind destroying
try find sound that are comfortable
Hey I was wondering if I’m having slight aches in my wrist and forearm should I take a break for the day?
sure
If you have minor aches, you should just play a bit less around 75% of what you normally play. But its important that you do some exercises to address some underlying endurance issues of the muscles
https://1-hp.org/gaming-wrist-pain/
We have some free guides w/ exercise programs inside based on where you are feelin git
Depends on where you feel it, but understanding where its coming from is a good start. THere are quite a few things that can lead to numbness but most often we see it assocaited with posture or irritation of a nerve around the elbow.
Figuring out what's leading to the nerve irritation (posture / ergonomics / weakness) is the first step.
Yo has anyone here been diagnosed with Binocular Vision Dysfunction (BVD)? I recently got diagnosed with it and am waiting on my glasses to come in.
Curious if anyone has any experience with BVD.
Maybe it's cope but I'm wondering how much of an effect it has had on my training
are the glasses specifically for bvd?
Yeah. They're Nuerolens
interesting, i didn't know bvd was a thing but ive had pretty extreme eye strain for around 5 years and my optician said its something to do with the muscles bringing my eyes together, so this might be applicable to me
That sounds very much like BVD. Pretty much spot on for what my doctor said.
I believe normal prism glasses can help it but Nuerolens is a contoured prism that's supposed to be better. It's insanely expensive though. My glasses were a little under $1,000 USD with insurance
i think its because my table is too high and i need to find a cushion formy chair as I get pain often in my forearm due to how high it is altho another separate issue thats probably normal is that my wrist feels weak when i just woke up
Hey, I am getting some pain in the back of my elbow, towards my upper arm when playing reactive tracking tasks recently - it's basically where my 'funny bone' is, and feels like a pulling pain
Is there any stretches I could do / anything posture wise I could change to stop this?
How do you sit?
Straight as possible (i have metal rods in my back so hard not to), I have my elbow on an arm rest. my elbow to my shoulder angle is like, id say 110/120 degrees
my elbow sometimes lifts up
but usually is planted
are you ever pressing down with your elbow when its planted?
no, the pain sorta comes and goes randomly when training
legitt 😭
it does appear sometimes randomly
but its defo way more frequent
when training
I'm no doctor so idk what specifically might help
but if I was you
I would brute force arm/shoulder flexibility
and try to hit everything until something sticks
I'm just taking it easy, avoiding high tension. I'm trying to find some stretching to do lol
my doctor just cleared me to do strength training and stretching as part of my post op rehab as well so I can try incorporate it into that
❤️
why do my shoulders hurt after playing for a while i noticed it happening recently
what should i do about my wrist hurting every flick (only to the right), take a break from gaming?, i need some advice on what to do
my wrist hurts everytime i flick to the right, its like a sharp pain, the left feels fine but it hurts a little to flick im trying to up my dpi from 400 because i think thats whats causing it but it still hurts to flick, should i just take a break or, should i do more then a break for my wrist to heal?
middle finger hurts like shit on left hand, maybe due to injuries? when i play mania games my left arm middle finger gave up
how fix
flicking with wrist is either problems or just your sens is too low which is causing you to have to flick your wrist so hard
or just learn to flick more with your arm
though if anything is hurting #1 thing you should do is take a break from the movement and do strengthening and stretching exercises
thanks ill tell my friend he needed this😭
Make sure to take a break if you are feeling pain - Stepmania/Osumania/Etterna can be very taxing on your fingers and joints - I'd take a few days off gaming. Then when you start playing again, monitor how your fingers are feeling and take breaks as necessary, I'd personally recommend to take a 5-15 min break every hour of playing, but find out what works for you.
when i grip my mouse naturally i dont give shot only when i use claw (hovering)
why this hapends
@lofty cloud @cobalt wharf You guys should 100% start here https://1-hp.org/gaming-wrist-pain/

Hey guys, sorry to bother I have a light concern on my wrist pain, it's been days not constant, just in certain movements.
I noticed when I pull my hand then bend it downwards I get like a little pop and some pain in it,
Anyone knows why and what to do about it?
today is my first day of aim training and i noticed my shoulder has this weird pain, it doesnt hurt but its very uncomfortable.... this is odd to me as ive been using a pc fot over 10 years now and i do aslo play a few fps games here and there but have never had shoulder aches
most likely too tense
doubt its related
i should probably starting going to the gym because after an hour of aimtraining my bicep is killing
Hey guys. Recently my middle finger on my right hand has started having semi frequent spasms. Could it be carpal tunnel syndrome? At first I thought it was because I was dehydrated, but I drink around 120 fl oz of water every day if not more. It's not painful or anything but could it be cause for concern? I'll probably bring it up during my next doctor visit as well but any advice is appreciated.
your tensing your arm way to much
relax your arm
alr ill try, thanks
Hello friends! I was wondering if anyone had any tips for improving smoothness while aiming? I was diagnosed with carpol tunnel and tendonitis and even though they factor in and make my aim worse, it's the shakey movement that's the worst. Was wondering if anyone else who has either of these would have any tips? ❤️
my wrist hurts
how long do tendons typically take to heal after months-years of strain
i started aim training around a week ago but now my elbow has a really dull pain
This is likely overuse and repetitive motions from your recent sessions, lateral epicondylitis or tennis elbow when it affects the outer part of the elbow.
so does everyone who aim trains consistently get this?
Take frequent breaks, do streching exercises, propper ergonomics, apply ice to the affected area to reduce pain and swelling.
I do reccomend checking the resources pinned in this channel aswell.
If the pain persists or worsens, consult a healthcare professional, such as a physiotherapist or doctor. They can provide a proper diagnosis and recommend specific treatments, us not.
Kinda of; While not universal, is common complaint.
alright then thanks for the help
Hey guys I don't really have any wrist pain problem besides my Forearm tensing but whenever I only move my wrist it gets really shakey and idk if dat is normal but is there any excercises I can do to fix this problem? and if so how long does it take to show progress? :D
Hello, I fell from 4 meters. I don't really remember how I landed but my shoulder blades hurt and my neck little bit hurts, it's been 10 hours since the incident. Should I go to doctor? Overall, I have some bruises on my shoulder blades
yes
preferably asap
@compact wharf
- Falls from this height can potentially cause serious injuries, it's been 10 hours since the fall, some injuries may not show symptoms immediately. Internal injuries or concussions can have delayed onset of symptoms.
- The fact that you don't clearly remember how you landed is concerning.
- The presence of bruises on your shoulder blades indicates impact in that area.
Seek immediate medical attention as soon as possible. Also be aware of any changes in your condition and report them to medical staff.
@maiden dust hey guys I would reccomend starting with the exercises here! You have to build the endurance of your muscles to aim train without pain!
yes go to the doctor you could have a brain injury!
thanks doc, really appreciate you trying to help me ❤️
I've started to feel some strain/pain in my inner elbow area, how can I go about fixing this? I've tried messing with my desk height but it still remains
see above ^
hey, i have shoulder pain when im playing valorant and i am not sure what to do. does anyone know something i could do to help this?
chat I have a question
took 300mg of caffeine and 10mg of ritalin instant release, felt absolutely nothing. What dafuck is wrong with my body?
have you taken methylphenidate (ritalin) before
and if by nothing you mean felt normal, it might be a sign you have adhd
yup I do have adhd, but I expected to feel something 😭 It was like I didnt even take anything lol
I took methylphenidate alone a few days ago and felt nothing as well, so I thought that by mixing caffeine it was impossible not to feel anything, I guess I was wrong xd
Do you have a diagnosis
if you have a diagnosis then 10mg ritalin is like an entry level dosage that should help you get used to the side effects and such and won't have a massive effect on you, except for helping you think
and order your brain
yes
but tha's the point, it doesnt help with anything, sometimes it makes sleepy, but most part of the time it just doesnt do shit. Ive tried taking the long action, the instant release, taking more at once, not even 20mg worked. It doesnt help with my focus, which is the main reason of why I wanted to take it to be honest, the only good thing is that sometimes it makes me sleep faster/better, so If I would take it as a sleeping pill at night it would work wonders
I've seen some poeple saying that they are on like 30/40mg ritalin, so I'm kinda tempted to try these higher doses, but it sucks to be like testing and trying everyday to see if its finally going to work or not. I'm like gambling taking it one day and being completely drowsy instead of being able to do the hard work throughout the day
you have some serious underlying problems if stimulants are making you drowsy
talk to your doctor
sleep problems like sleep apnea or something
she stopped answering me like 2 weeks ago, I guess its ggs
just gonna pretend that adhd doesnt exist and move on
every time i try to use my wrist to aim, i shake a lot can this guide help me?
btw, for me, it took 3 months to get a time with my dr because his summer vacation was in the middle of it
i also dont shake whenever i use my arm or at least not as badly
I just got a temporary prescribtion from a regular DR
manage your tension
wdym?
ohh like dont put so much pressure?
alright ill try but i also have a claw grip so idk if thatll make it harder or not
If you are always at max tension, there is no more tension to give when things get tough
that was kinda deep man but thanks for the advice ill try and do that
anyone know why i have so sore neck shoulder muscle after playing for a while? it started after i switched mousepads i notice i lift my shoulders a lot
on the trapezius muscle
i have a feeling its because my new mousepad cant fit my elbow on it which is what im used to
Practice using high sens
i have same problem but only if im not able to do super small movements, so my wrist forfeits and jitters by itself. which aimtrainer scenario could help ?
can u record a vod
Usually its "micro adjustment" but maybe u have a different case
Or do you mean microadjusting is hard
If its illness related then go have a doctor check up
If it isnt then u can use scenarios that have really small targets, they typically require microadjustment
I don't think it's an illness and i also dont think they are microadjustments cuz they are fine. I meant movement smaller than micro adjustments
can you show a vid
i cannot really visualize anything that is smaller than microadjustments
I’ve got a swollen joint on my right hand’s middle finger. Can I aim train or should I refrain from training?
bad posture probably
feet should be flat on the floor with shoulders in a typical standing position and you should have an almost 90* angle from your elbow
ive been doing this to my utmost ability and i admit its hard to hold such a good posture but even with it i still notice strain there
did the height of the new monitor change
o i didnt get a new monitor
i got a mousepad
oh
sorry i forgot
thats pretty weird
deadass actually hurts like hell its so annoying
i cant play for more than an hour
get a massage bro!
might be onto something
yeah but ive never heard of something like that
genuinely might be a knot in your shoulder
im straining that trapezius muscle for like no reason
its somewhat in both
which iss why im confused
its a bit more on my right aiming arm
how would a mousepad change that
thats what im thinking
it was a recent problem actually i dont think it was the mousepad
have you like strained yourself at the gym or somethinng i couldnt think of much else
lowkey might be possible cuz i play sports a few times a week
i had like a weeks rest though cuz i was on vacation
maybe too much work right after a rest and now somethings uncomfortable
ive just never really heard of it
im surprised cuz i would think its kinda common
i saw a vid by 1hp gaming on the issue and i tried their posture fix but it didnt com0letely alleviate the strain
ive heard of back pain and peoples ass being sore lol but never shoulders
stretching only helps temporarily
maybe its common
those two only happen to me affter playing for a really long time
do it between rounds or scenes
yeah thats normal
like 5+ hours
whats crazy is that i can pop my collarbone and shoulders now
just by raising my arms
LMFAO
lol
hope its like growing pains or something cuz ts is so bad
i havent really heard growing pains in the shoulder/neck area though and its muscle pain
not bone
i dont think thats really common
hope thats the cause but i didnt exercise last week at all cuz vacation
cant help but maybe you can help me with something!!!
video games make me really cold
and my arms shake and stuff
i have to wear coats and turn off the ac before playing comfortably
and when i take them off even if im sweating my hands are shaking
arent you just nervous
im not sure if its a stress thing or tension but i get really cold
