I put 1 cup egg whites in each smoothie which is 30 grams of protein
And I know one egg is 74 calories
Didn't realize the egg whites were in the smoothie, my bad. Replying to your DMs right now!
Yeah I will be more descriptive
I do my best but idk what I'm talking about a lot of the time so I can only help in limited amounts 😭
I appreciate your time and effort spent helping people a great deal, I'm sure you all are very busy people
How do I find motivation to keep a calorie deficit
I find drinking a fuck tonne of water helps small cravings to cut out snacks
As for size of meals, eating slower can help you eat less as you'll feel full before you can finish a meal often
You can also eat smaller sized meals more regularly at a slower pace to help ease cravings if you get those
IE, instead of eating like, 2 meals a day, eat 4 smaller meals a day and eat them slower
If you already done all that idk I just don't get an appetite I eat like once every 2/3 days 😭
I have a poor relationship with food
🥲
hmmm my wrist seems to hurt right when i start playing specifically static tasks, in this video https://youtu.be/lzjOCYkn8mY?si=7-P9NfYDW5XZ6_lv it says to to do the routine 1-2 hours before playing or seperate, I have been doing both switching through them and I find my wrist muscles get really tired and fatigued and tense during static. Should i just avoid static tasks and just do the routine and maybe in a couple weeks do static again, or do I just continue what i am doing
Gaming Pain? CLICK HERE: https://1-hp.org/game-without-pain-ca/
This routine is a little different as it is a FULL injury prevention routine! It involves the following types of exercises:
- Self-Massage
- Stretching
- General Coordination
- Strengthening and Endurance
The purpose of this routine is to keep your wrist/hand flexible while al...
First and foremost, if anything is hurting when you do a specific thing
stop
Make sure you're listening to your body, pain is not very often for no reason, it's your body telling you it doesn't like something, so whatever it is that's causing the pain, try and either just stop doing it, or changing things around so it eases up
-
In terms of specific points of your post, though, I beliieve that training is often better after playing
You run into fatigue whilst playing if you train beforehand, and training tired can often be better or some neuroscience muscle memory neuropathway shit idk I'm not a doctor
-
Point being, I think generally it's healthier to train after you play
Imagine you hitting the gym and training for 2 hours before you go and run a triathlon, it's not gonna be good
You can however hit the gym afterwards and expend your remaining energy
You can and should warmup before playing though, 30 minutes of stretches and light exercises to help blood get to all the necessary places and just loosen up the joints and get all them good fluids going
I'll check out the video now and have a look through it to see what may be causing your pain in this specific routine
Okay just for note, I thought the linked video was for training, I should have watched it before I responded, definitely do this before playing, this shit good
@somber falcon
Can you notice any difference in how you hold the mouse, or your posture/grip when playing static tasks
Like, is there anything at all that stands out in your behaviour when playing static?
Hold the mouse tighter, do you move more rapidly etc
I try to hold my mouse the same playing any task but yeah I hold my mouse very comfortably
I think maybe it's the stopping
Honestly no idea my muscles just fatigued faster playing static and tense up
Mkay, and is it any static task or a certain difficulty/type?
Okay I will train after I play then
For warm-ups Idk what to do really except the 3 min one on 1hp YouTube
I can give you some warmups depending on what games you play
Just static and a little bit dynamic make me feel weird
Ahh I only play aim labs
Ah okay, that's only relevant when you aim train on aimlabs and also play another game like, OW or CS:GO
You want to do your training after your gaming in them cases
Or so I've heard I can be mistaken on that
As far as the static issue goes there are 2 things that come to mind
Ahh I only really enjoy aim labs but sometimes I do play ow
1 -> The problem can be that you're forcing your hand to stop too hard, this can be for a couple of reasons
- You can consider getting a higher friction mousepad or skates that give you a little more stopping power so there's less strain on your wrist
- You can try to put your fingertips onto the mousepad as you aim, and use them kinda as psuedo breaks and push them into your pad
- I'd also recommend playing some easier, slower paced click timing scenarios for a while, and don't worry about score hunting, just take them really slow and gentle, focus on being relaxed, having clean, straight movements, and coming to a relaxed stop
After you've done that for a while start working on picking up the pace, but still ensure that the smooth, relaxed motion is being upheld
2 -> You can be tensing your arm too much and kind of, locking everything up
- The last point of the above suggestions will help with that as well
- Instead of trying to stop on a target, maybe try instead, kind of, moving to a different target. This idea is kind of hard to elaborate on. I guess instead of seeing 1 target, moving, stopping, and clicking. Look at your next 2 targets, and move in a fluid motion between the two, so you move towards your first, click when your crosshair is on it, and not necesarrily stop, but change the motion towards to second target. That way there's no sudden jolt from you halting your movement
- You can also consider getting a compression arm sleeve if you think this may be the problem, they help keep the blood flowing through your shoulder down to your wrist, and will help you ensure your arm is more relaxed in the process
Instead of trying to stop on a target, maybe try instead, kind of, moving to a different target
I have made a very well constructed paint diagram to elaborate on this
Instead of moving like on the left hand side, where you move in 3 seperate motions, move like on the right, where it's one motion and there's no firm stop, but you click on each instance of the targets
That may help you it may not, I know for me personally that helps a great deal and is how I prefer to visualise/move in static, but I'd recommend trying it out and see how it goes
That kind of motion really helps in dynamic clicking a tonne, but also can help in static. Learning how to move like that put my dynamic clicking like 2-3 ranks above everything else
@somber falcon I hope any of that is helpful, let me know if it is or if I can help any further, I will always do my best to advise on what little I know

Hmm I think this is true
Yeah I will try this for dyamimic and static
Then yeah I'd suggest lowering the difficulty of your click timings for now and just work on having that nice, relaxed fluid motion and building up the speed
These things are why you should ensure that you have good practice at all times when training, because small mistakes or bad habits in certain scenarios that you build to score higher can often come back to bite you in the ass when you get to more difficult scens, and they make you have to backtrack to fix them
I agree
I think I wil try all of these out
this has really helped
hard to really remember it all the time lol
It is a chore to keep yourself in check a lot of the times, just do your best to check in on yourself as often as possible to make sure you're keeping up that habit. You can add an audio queue that chimes every 20 seconds as a reminder to relax, this helps some people avoid going into autopilot
something that's helped me with this concept is to think of it as a racing line! you're not looking at just one spot in a turn, you're looking to progress the line as fast as possible while still being accurate
crazy helpful post bro
Exactly that, that's a really good way to frame it thank you ❤️
true time flies by when you really focus tho i think
i played like 1 hour each task and it flew so quickly lol
Recovery can oftentimes be your best friend but obviously we don’t want you to stop gaming.
Do you know how you strained it in the first place?
exercised too much I think
I c
nah if u eat at night
u can stop ur recovery while u sleep bc ur metabolism will be active
I wont say stop maybe reduce efficiency or something
ksyyZ as always the goat
B-but roided bodybuilders get up at night to eat!!
Wish i had instant recovery boost like they do lol
some people are just built different
Got it, I would take a day off right now just to properly recover. You probably did too much in one session that your body isn’t use to.
Yo, just so you all know
I thought yoga was some made up funky juju bs
But that shit's kinda poggers
Y'all should try it
🧘♂️
@lofty edge Apologies for the ping, but I have issues in knowing when to stop training or playing when it comes to exertion
Both on my PC and even when I go to the gym
I have p severe ADHD and idk if it's due to that or the medication that I take for it, but sometimes I just completely hyperfocus and lose track of time
And I end up like, sitting in the shooting range for, sometimes 6 hours
And I did once play 30+ games back to back just insta requeuing
That spanned over about 34 hours
Like I didn't eat, or sleep, I probably drank though so there's that
And I just super hyper fixated
Any tips or advice on, not so much time management, but kind of, limiting my potential exertion
I considered psuedo scheduling my playtime and whatnot, but I ended up just ignoring my schedule 😭
No worries, if I can ever be of help, being pinged is never a bad thing!
Yeah you are posing a great question. So time management doesn't need to be the end all be all. Meaning not every second of your life needs to be accounted for in a schedule.
I'm in the process of wait to get a therapist to help with learning and implementing coping strategies for time and focus management alongside my current treatment, but therapist waiting lists are heeellla long
And, all though my current treatment does help quite a lot, I find myself lost in the moment and ruining my sleep way more often than is healthy or desired
I'm more so concerned with over exertion, as the sleep and scheduling can be inconvenient, but worked around
ah, okay. Thanks for the help
Of course I can send a video of a biceps stretch as well as forearm stretch.
Im currently having pain in my elbows (tennis elbow) and in the top part of my hand/wrist why could this be because im sitting in a 90 degree angle and i feel alot of inflammation
I try to sit with proper posture when I play(elbows at a 90 degree angle, feet flat, & straight back) but I have to lean my back off the chair to sit straight and I feel like I cant comfortably have my feet flat because the chair legs get in the way(I have huge feet)
its this type of chair
the feet problem is just a slight annoyance but for my back if I sit up straight for too long I feel rhomboid pain
I started using a pillow behind me but I feel like thats temporary, any chair suggestions or tips to fix this?
Yo does anyone here know any exercises to strengthen your thumb recently got diagnosed with De Quervain's tenosynovitis
any help would be appreciated
Are they like, your bicep stretches or just some random one?
Asking for a friend
They would be from me.
I don’t mind.
how should i hold my mouse if my hands sweat a lot? I usually put a tea towel on my mouse but it prevents me from doing flicks
baby powder maybe , idk never had the problem
how do I get like Elige
I want to play as ergonomically sound as possible
and I just want to be healthy overall like him
bro is my inspo
j curious if there's anyone else here who also has anxiety when playing apex (or really generalized anxiety)
figured after 2K hrs of this game I'd finally get used to the nature of BR
yet today was just diff and I deadass felt my heart pounding in a game of shell trios
if there is anyone else, what are some tips y'all might have for managing it?
legit the only stimulant I've had today was a latte, after being on a half-empty stomach
but i've started to notice the heart pounding/palpitations j recently
normal heartrate too, usually sitting around 80-100
I have been feeling extra tired for the past few days. I have been sleeping 8 hours for the past week and it makes me sluggish. My eyes are blinking slower my reaction time is 30 ms slower from my average. I feel tired asf. How do i fix this.
Are you sure it’s not just adrenaline or is it something more like your scared to q the game (something I struggle with)
You could also try and narrow down what’s making your heart palipate Is it just before a fight, right before you land, or is it like just when your walking around
If it’s the scared to q i’ve mostly just stuck to playing with friends and if none are online random people from discord lfp servers to fix it if it’s like right before fights or landing then it could just be something you need to hyper focus on and expose yourself to
Maybe adrenaline, it’s not even being scared to queue, more that I’m prob j being hard on myself for not performing, e.g. landing hot and then almost killing a guy but whiffing every shot afterward
It’s usually during a fight, but not even kidding last night the heart palpitations kept going on for an hour or so after i stopped playing, and it got to the point where my chest hurt
I had to take a walk by the piers near me to try to clear my mind
Like I love Apex but it sucks to suck at the game when u don’t want to, yk?
Yeah yeah I get whatru saying
I get what u said at the start alot like not performing Is a big fear of mine in games aswell
but I've found I tend to notice it less when I absolutely blast music or have fun with friends while playing
Im not sure why It'd last so long after the game ended tho unless it was something else entirely I'm not sure apex would cause your heart to palipate for two hours like that
probably built up anxiety from that, i have been having symptoms of general/social anxiety for a long time, as per my campus psychologist
i think just continuous overthinking plus self deprecation leading to that
anyone know about kegels and how to program them like sets reps
IK that no amount of aim training can help me hit a wingman shot on a hot drop. Ill legit wiff 3 mags in a row. my heartrate doesnt go crazy tho no
i have some pain at my right shoulder and my arm (at random times, can't describe when) when i move my arm, any exercises that can help with that?
Light physical training and stretching, get your brain to experience SLIGHT discomfort and getting used to fix it
I've got a mild caffeine addiction. Is it heavily going to affect my gains if I don't have it before my training session, or just my performance?
Placebo,its whatever u think
Depending how much you drink a day and when I suppose it might be hard at first without drinking it at those specific times and then doing whatever you wanna do but you should get used to it
is their a specific exercise I should do for someone with a 178 gram mouse
I could buy a new one but I love the feeling of this one, I do really feel my wrist get tense tho
Just order caffeine pills
Ez
When u do aim trainers bind ur shoot Button to spacebar or whatever and shoot w thar , try to relax ur hand while tracking
ur probably joking but I enjoy coffee as a light hobby, don't have interest in pills
Ah i see
Nah the caffeine pills from esn actually helped me get off my caffeine addiction , they r like 200 mg but dont kick like at all
So ur body gets caffeine but like in a low dosage
oh, I see what you mean
that's a good idea if I ever need to kick it for whatever reason
Its just a really slow caffeine yk , like its not all at the same time but slowly over time
A monster kicks like triple as hard
yeah that makes sense, timed release
that's kinda why I try to drink coffee more than energy drinks cause it's a hot drink I tend to consume it slower
I see what u mean , but i feel like the only way to really consume it over a long period of time is the caffeine pills
I doubt that u drink one coffe over the span of like 3 hours
I always take the pills before tourneys nh shit cuz u dont have the downtime after they run out
nah not three hours, more like
an hour and a half
so it definitely hits faster than the pills would
And harder
What is this stretch called
basicallt you have your left hand fingers around cupping your wrist while you pull your right arm down
so right arm is stright up fingers pointing to the sky and your left hand is like holding your wrist and hand while you pull down your right arm
I can't find it on YouTube
How long till i go deaf if i listen to a Sound avrg of about 87 db for atleast 2 hpurs a day, am 17 rn
its like pulling your wrist apart from your forearm
Today
After getting hand injury, how much time do i need to wait recovering to start training again?
Stretching the wrist flexor muscles can be difficult, but using a wall to apply pressure and increase the range of motion can be very effective. Make sure you keep the elbow straight.

Like this?
I cant seem to fully release my tight traps, I have had super tight traps and I have been doing lots of rehab work for maybe 6 months now stretching my traps 1 minute each side, but their is this still this missing thing, I workout my full body and get good results for most of it, so I should have the strength to pull my traps down from their tight position. I do stretch my spine, chest, mid back, traps everyday for 1 minute each
nah you are holding your wrist with your left hand and pulling down with your right arm
like if you were to pull your wrist off and add a new one
I'm not sure if I've personally heard of such a stretch, do you know what it's supposed to do?
help the wrist lidgements
and wrist tightness
a physiotherapist showed me it
Sorry, I don't think I know it
its fine
When i play more than a hour that part of my hand start hurting what I should do?
So I have been complaining on this server about my back pain for years.
I got a 2nd opinion on my back and apparently I got kyohosis. I have been physio to correct it for the longest time.
Today my physiotherapist gave up on me. I will never be healthy enough to do anything physical. Not even as simple as fps games.
It's not even the worst it could be
But the pain never subsides
This dull strained painful knot feeling spot on my back that gets infinitely worse when I use a mouse.
Guess what I use mice 10 hours a day for work
I tried track pads and trackballs
They all sucks
Stop, visit the doctor
Why like for me is normal i hsve that pain like 1 week
I would try to stretch and stuf
Time for doctor
Bc i play for more than 8 and only get fingers cramps if i somehow tense up too much, but will evetually go away
My forefinger feels weak after like 7 minutes of training and cant normally hold m1 on tasks where you have to hold fire button ( for example tracking ), how can i fix it, my entire wrist is ok, only forefinger feels like that.
FYI : Like 5 months ago i stopped training because my wrist was feeling insanely bad because of training without relaxing. After some time i got back and want to continue training and improving my aim.
is this normal or whattt
its not
Time for a checkup
iv been aimtraining allot past 3 days and today my shoulder is stiff i cant even move my arm well I took a rest , but any ideas how to avoid this ? maybe chair too high ? note im 70cm ingame warrior and 50cm kovaak
Anybody have any experience with pain in the shoulder of my right arm? (my mouse arm)
Whats ur cm/360
34
Time for a doctor checkup
I dont think 34cm needs that much of ur arm movement to make your shoulder burn or even painful
Yea, it’s definitely a posture thing I just gotta figure out how to fix it
Do i have bad posture throughout the day, like in bed or forward and internally rotated shoulder, also extended hand maybe? How about the neck and upper back?
you*
That’s what I’m trying to work on, I don’t know about in bed but during the day my arms are usually extended, because the desks where I work are pretty high
Higher chair / hard pillow or something on the chair might be beneficial
- mobility for your upper body
Your desk should be up to your elbow
idk if this is exactly where I should ask this but what do you guys do about anger/salt when playing any game really
normally it doesn't happen but sometimes (especially when teammates are being assholes on voip) it pisses me off a fuck ton and I just want to throw my mouse across my room
accept the fact that you cant control everything and just do the best u can. try to rid yourself of negative self talk and increase the amount of positive self talk you have
there's a saying that goes something like
if you squeeze a lemon, lemon juice will come out
no other thing could possibly come out of a lemon
lets say someone squeezes you
would negative emotions come out ?
you could argue that "oh someone pushed me to that limit so i acted that way"
but in my opinion i think it's possible to completely rid yourself of negative emotions 🙂
but what does self talk have to do with wrist/shoulder/arm/etc pain?
Well the question wasnt about physical pain, and health is in the mind too
Self talk is op imo
U can program yourself
well, i should start something like that haha, physiotherapy aint working on me and i dont know what to do :c
What is ur specific problem? And what did the pt recommend u to do
i had a sprain 7 months ago while playing soccer and didnt recovered well. in the red circle is where i fell pain when i move my wrist to the right and in the blue is where i feel pain when i hold heavy objects in supination. currently, I have completed 20 1 hour sessions, where I improved significantly in the first 10, and in the second set, I changed pt, and my pain didn't improve much at all, bc the pt only put my hand on magnetotherapy and electro
@fallow sundial so now u have pain in same areas and conditions, just weaker pain?
yes sir
The fact that the back of the hand is hurting only in supination makes me think its nerve related, maybe trying a mobility routine for the whole upper body can help loosen things up
Check the supination pain immediately after doing the routine once
If its lower/ gone, continue everyday!
ok bro ty 4all
hello, so its been around 2 and a half weeks since this. Ive been stretching and mobility exercises daily since. maybe like 2x a day. I've been resting it, and have only been back to aim training for about 5 days now. I cut my training time from 1hr to about 30-45 mins, and have been taking it easier than usual as it still isn't 100%
My wrist is better, and so is the back of my hand. However, whenever I'm doing static scenarios the base of my thumb, inner and outer hand, both feel strained.
any idea on how to proceed with this? My only concern is because of the length of time its been since my first post, and how the thumb is the only non 'cured' aspect.
Thanks!!
uk when u play a lot of hours in front of the monitor at the end of the day u have like white overlay on ur eyes, u have to blick extra hard, squeezing ur eyes so that it passes for short time but todaay for some reason i have it after like 1hour wtf, cant even play now
How was your hydration yesterday and today, what about sleep
Im assuming u didnt reduce the work stuff so it wasnt really fully rested right
If it was rested with work then did u try doing specific strengthening for your thumb?
Also u say it happens only on static, makes me think u might be tensing too hard on that one
i slept 9 hours and idk normal hydration
I only work about 16 hours a week, So it was massively rested compared to usual. I stopped aiming and gaming for 2 weeks, which reduced the time of use by a lot.
I did wrist strengthening, but for the thumb individually might be a good idea. I'll have a look into some routines for that, Thanks.
Also, with the tensing, I believe there might be truth to it, but I never find myself tensing consciously. The only way to stop is to try being more conscious right?
Idk, did u try f.lux @rain harbor
I guess caring a bit less about performance would be good. Is ur sens high?
i had it some years ago but im playing without it for some time never had problem coz of blue light
idk whats goin on
that's a good idea, didn't think of that. not really, its 60cm/360
Hmm... it might be that lower sens makes u do faster / more explosive / demanding thumb usage but it also might be that the higher sens will make u (or encourage) tense the thumb more to be more precise, try slightly increasing the sens
I'll do this and the care less about performance thing. also ill try strengthening the thumb and see how it goes. Thank you for the help, I appreciate it loads!
glhf
Try it again i find it helps me instantly if i have it off and then on
ok ill try to block blue light
so I've had wrist pain or maybe even just fatigue when I aim train I'm not gripping my mouse super hard but whenever I do micro adjustments I tense my wrist to control my aim. If I don't my aim is just isn't controlled at all, is this something I have to fix since I only feel it aim training but not when I play any games. Also if this matters my wrist clicks when I rotate it idk what that means
Wrist clicks when u rotate might indicate some tendon is getting hit on the bone i think, doing mobility work on your whole arm should help it imo
About the tensing with micro adjusting
U probably stress about accuracy while doing it right? I know it feels like u are more precise when u do that but its restricting on the wrist’s range of motion and not really optimal. Does it happen in specific micro adjusting scenarios? Or all micro adjusting situations, even when dots are far apart?
Whats ur sens
umm it happens in all scenarios
I usually do a arm flick then microadjust
49.48 cm/360
Oh
Hmm
U are likely just tensing too much when it isnt needed
Try playing static with less tension on your wrist intentionally
Dont care about performance
For a bit
ok will do I tried a few times to intentionally have no tension but it just happens even when I try not to
idk
its like engraved in muscle memory lol
Ye as u get more mousecontrol it will be easier
Its also a bit mental
Stressing to not miss or perform can cause it i would guess
So try to have the goal to perform but not “force” it or be stressed about it
Also practice pokeball and proper deceleration after snappy flick
Mattyow and lorys explain it well
gotcha gotcha ill search it up
I've only really loaded scenarios and shot at stuff didn't really look into like specific routines
Oh i see, then u are in for a lot of improvement soon ^^
Checkout #resources for routines when u want
U are used to it and focused on other stuff happening in game like movement and the enemy
U will get used to it too
gotcha tyty
Yo sup chat
I have simple question
I see in my gameplay such a big mistake that I make
Every time I get in stress
Like if I play lan cup
I play well all cup
And in finals I start to stress and do mistake
I try to self talk and stay focused but it not help
Did somebody have same problem and fix it
Anyone else just get very sleepy while aim training
It uses up my energy so fast. Playlists are 1 hour but after 20-30 min im alr doing my best to stay focused
Well it aint even only aim training. Had the same problem with osu when i still played it back in the days. Seems pretty normal to me tho. It makes sense
Cuz of eye usage
Isnt blue light supposed to be keeping u awake
Harder to sleep but there is fatigue involved
Or less quality sleep
Or both
I believe hes talking more about focus
I feel like turning down my brightness helped but idk
I perma use f.lux
Reducing blue light
Gives instant relief and more stamina
To my damaged eyes
Hi everyone i have a problem my shoulder and fore arm hurt when i move
Usually when i move it up behind my head anyone knows the problem?
Idk i forgot, but i remember seeing solutions and explanations on youtube, youtube “squat university overhead pain” might help
what causes ring finger pain when holding mouse?
what mouse
razer viper ultimate
and my hands are pretty big i dont know if that mattters
i think i may be using my fingertips too much to aim
ig
after aim training i could literally just fall asleep
especially after tracking
How might I go about fixing the most stiff wrists / hands on planet Earth? I have been sweating fps for over 10 years and have never had a stretch routine
i have the same since childhood, slight pain in the root of a ring finger
idk how to solve it, tryied different grips, big mouses, small, no matter, i always have this issue
even with exotic grips
i think the only way to avoid it is use vertical mouses, but i do not try it
somewhere there
maybe the reason that i broke my wrist long time ago, it is not flexible as the left wrist since then.
for me its the area where the naiil is
like the little notch between the middle and tip
tried vt-bench with left hand, same issue begin develop
Question about Supplements, Im decent with workout supps and such but for gaming and such. what supplements would you recommend?
This may sound basic but g fuel is actually really good
Ive been dumping preworkout into my system I did use advanced for a few things but I had to stop cuz i went on a deployment lol
I’m not diagnosed but I definitely have some kind of adhd so it helps a lot with focus
Ive got it diagnosed but I had to stop my medication to help with my anexity and spicy sadness issues
Damn
yea.... id like to stop having to take 1000mg of caffine a day to feel something... lol
Wtf 😭
I don't think this much caffeine is healthy for anyone or anything. Might wanna work on that a bit 💀
Uh well I once didn't have to do that type of things... but I got older and the military made me numb... or other things happened lol
That's fair enough, I hope all is well and I wish the best for you with whatever it is you're dealing with
I'm not gonna push into personal details
thats fair, but ive spoken to a therapist... and even been to a specialty hospital. I have issues that arnt gonna go away but I dont want to use medicatian to full get rid of my issues I find that its one of the few things that helps me stay grounded. knowing I have something to work towards myself.
I'm not gonna say I relate, or understand. Because your issues are yours. But I can agree with feeling grounded when I know I have something I can work towards. And I hope that feeling motivates you often
Is pain on the inside of my elbow called tennis elbow? + what stretches should I do to prevent that
hello everyone, I've been feeling some pain in my wrist while trying to microadjust to the right, is it because of my grip?
i lost 45 kgs in 1.5 years with calorie deficit and cycling now im
72 kgs
from 115
I'm trying to gain weight, right now I'm 52 kgs, but I'm striving for atleast 65kg. I'm really skinny for my height and age, it's so hard to gain weight for me.
Count your calories eat 300 to 400 calories more everyday than ur expenditure calories
Protein is most important, you want to make sure you eat 0.8 - 1.2 grams per day also need to make sure you get a MIN of 40G of healthy fats also. carbs can fluctuate. depending on what you want id look up a calorie calculator and do your best to track to the best of your ability. a scale is very handy, Myself I was 230 start of January when I was at a uh... grippy sock hotel got back home and got myself back to... somewhat of a decent order and now im at 185lbs Im working towards 170-175.
I don't make food for myself because I'm 16. I basically just eat what my dad or grandmother makes and recently I just started to eat more portions, but it's hard to keep up because I get full easily.
I mean, its never to late to learn how to cook for yourself. if you want to start now it wouldnt hurt. plus if you want you can try to convince your family to start something healthy. but if anything ask for some protein powder and start working out. muscle helps you with the allusion of being bigger.
I'm broke so I can't buy food to cook with, since I got a new monitor and also my family doesn't make any unhealthy food too, mostly potatoes and shit.
And also good idea with the protein powder, but I'm gonna have to start saving money up for the protein powder.
I mean depending on what you want. Potatoes arnt unhealthy, I eat em everyday 450Grams like 300Cals. No butter or oil. But my goal is to also lose not gain. Generally I eat 93%Ground beef and potatoes for a meal everyday ends up being 1k cals for 2lbs of food. which is great for keeping me full for the rest of the day. Also get 1Gal of water a day.
Yea I'm not saying the potatoes are unhealthy, but I just wish they had more calories in them.
add butter to em, look up how much cals are in 1 server of it, iuts crazy
Isn't butter unhealthy?
I mean large amoutns yes, but if you only eat healthy wahts to live fore
Oh okay, understandable.
same thing with peanut butter its crazy cals
The middle part of my wrist hurts a lot
The ligaments especially feel very tense, and have a sharp rocky pain
They kind of feel like rocks how they Crack
I'd say you should rest if you use your wrist too much, and should stretch more often in that case. As the ligaments and tendons of the wrist tend to hurt when over stimulated
my thumb randomly twitching does it mean im tired
Does blue light affect sleep time? I didn't play for several months and I could sleep normally, but yesterday when I used the PC it was difficult for me to sleep well.
Do you think it is advisable to use a yellow light filter?
ahh I do a 3 min warmup and the wrist prevention routine, which has helped but i cant get the weird stuff in my wrist to stop
like the tension the painful snapping
You should add some exercises to help your wrist range of motion, maybe take some rest
In the case nothing helps you should visit a doctor
when i am playing for like 1-2hrs i start like taking my hand off my mouse and stretching my arm out and it puts my aim off how can i fix this
I feeling a little bit pain under my wrist it is normal? It not happen frequency but i can feel
In past 2 weeks i started playing val for more than 4 hours in a row and do aimlab training for 1 hours everyday
And my sleep is kinda weird some day i sleep at 2am but some day i sleep at evening and then sleep again at 4-5am then wake up around 10-12pm
that explains it. Was 32C° degrees out.
I cant find too many excercises that target the wrist ligements I found one tho
yeah I also feel like i am going no where with benchmarks
so I want to get my wrist fixed
Hey tom this sounds like tendonitis. If you want to talk to one of our physical therapists fill out the form here https://1-hp.org/game-without-pain/
Pain is a sign that you have tendonitits. You can refer to some of the routines here or sign up for a free consultation with one of our PTs. https://1-hp.org/gaming-wrist-pain/
i would check out this routine https://1-hp.org/wrist-extensor-protocol-ulnar-bias/
Stiff wrists are a sign of tendonitis, you definitly need to be building the endurance of the muscles and tendons. https://1-hp.org/gaming-wrist-pain/
have you talked to one of our therapists?
i just did woohoojin x voltaics intermediate aim training playlist for the first time, and i feel like im gonna get carpal tunnel if i do it 5 times a week. my fingers/wrist/hand feels like i just did one of those speed clicking tests (except the feeling lasted way longer) is this normal or no?
ty. and strange moment that pain became more powerful when i begun focusing at relax my wrist during gaming.
this is good info
i'm going to try work on some of these
i've generally aoided wrist exercises because i just get burning pain out of it
the vertical curls seem to work without pain
i think
now it's just my fingers suck
I spoke to a physical therapist, not one on the link you gave unfortunately, they said it was stretched tendons in my thumb, and the supporting muscles for thumb movement and wrist pronation in my forearm were suffering because of it too. I got a massage and mobility routine I've been doing and its working wonders 😁
I was doing stretches which are obviously bad for it because it's stretched out. Which is why it took so long to heal originally. I think I'll be back to full health just shy of a week. Thank you!
Should've gone straight to the physical therapist either on the link or not tbh! 😂💀
Ahh I have but it was too much to book another session so I only did one
why does my pinkie and the tendon all the way down my forearm goes numb
im guessing its not getting enough blood flow but why
Could be constant kind of posture. Try doing a small mobility routine everyday
And taking little breaks here and there when playing
Good routines on the 1hp site
And on pinned comments
thanks!
Ill add to do mobility not just for wrist and fingers but on the shoulder, elbow and back too. Glhf
Numbness is a sign of nerve compression in the pinky especially the ulnar nerve. The question is where is it being pinched? Book a chat with one of our PTs for a free consult https://1-hp.org/game-without-pain/
First pain free session in 3 weeks!
I've played like 5, now 6, times over recovery. Each for very little time (like 10 mins, minus today) and am finally 99% recovered!
thank you to the help and support I got, really was helpful. I appreciate you!
Nice man, any specific thing u did? 1hp routine? Thumb strengthening after the recovery? I forgot
Planning on slowly integrating training back in too, so no rush!
I massaged a bunch of muscles that work with thumb movement and wrist supination/ pronation (turning away from the body - might be the wrong term). That alongside some rubber band thumb strengthening yeah.
Basically, everything was stretched and strained, so I had to do the reverse. which was use the muscles to do opposite movements. I also found a video that helped loads. I can link if you'd wanna check it for future reference maybe?
Would love to yeah
Good that you’re on the right path now
I still have some issues to fix
So any info is good
The guy has two videos, so i'll link both. The first is:
https://youtu.be/Dvdko_emB4M?si=3Yh30oVmQZlLjmoD
The next is:
https://youtu.be/KfHYTB70SGI?si=816_tdvFvU9O4XGq
They say very similar things, but worth a try. I mainly just follow-along the first one. Still some tightness every now and again. but its helped a lot!

I've recently moved my chair height up to allow for my shoulders to be a more relaxed state not raised and i dont feel like im leaning forward. However after doing so i've started to notice my neck on right side has started to ache quite a lot. Does anyone have any idea as to why this might be?
why is my hand tweaking whenever I do tracking (mostly tracking but other scenarios as well)
as in i can feel the bones kinda move inside idk how to explain
like if I was about to crack my joints
If u mean micro shaking while tracking that can be lack of smoothness skill
Which gets better as u get better
Hmm... not really a good sign i think
U mightve raised a bit too much, is the elbow or forearm touching the pad at all? Mightve been too high and u subconsciously lower your shoulder, stressing the neck tendon that goes down to your arm
I think that might be the problem i think when i was trying to relax my shoulders i ended up just lowering them. i've since then lowered it a bit more along with adjusting my monitor and it seems to be working wonders now. I think you were spot on with me lowering my shoulders
if you mean my hand is shaking then no
you know that feeling right before you crack a joint?
or when youre close to doing it
then i have that
sounds weird tbh. how's your water intake day to day?
try stretching and mobilizing for a bit before tracking, see if it immediately helps a bit
if it does, keep doing it every now and then in the day and everyday
does anyone else have days where they cant do shit, they feel like shit and nothing goes right. you wake up have a protein shake lunch chicken potato and vegs and still nothing, energy drink to try and help... and you say screw it eat a whole pizza and a dessert going 2k cals over your daily normal... just to feel normal
kinda normal i would say no? i feel like a lot of people have off days, i know its same for me
now the thing to do imo is look forward in a positive light
yes I dont do it often, I just... I kept trying to do things and my brain and body was like " nah
I think the main reason is I didnt hjave alot of healthy fats to start the day mainly just protein idk tho
hmm idk, worth experimenting tho (keeping constant healthy diet)
This is the start of the day with my normal amount of shite I get through a day... have been on a weight loss journey for 6 months tho
ye im not really knowledgeable in terms of diet like that. if u are on a long caloric deficit then its definitely normal to have mood swings and off days imo
try adding a bit of healthy fats like u said
most importantly is trying to have a positive mindset
just a minor stone we bumped into in our grand journey
did u try doing "refills" or whatever its called in fitness forums? having a day where u eat normally to help with longevity of the diet, but i dont have all the info on your situation
you arnt wrong just wish id stop having them so many days in a row. And i do try where I eat 300-400 cals over once a week with extra carbs but i normally dont have alot of fats cuz 1g of fats is like 9 c als? or something like that i cant remember off the top of my head
healthy fats are very important tho from what i understood, worth having them consistently even if not a lot
Yea normally I eat 93% Ground beef to get my fats in for the day but the store didnt have any so ive been eating chicken coulkd be a reason
the change mightve been it
try replacing with other fats next time
even if not same amount
wtf
why do u need less tension in that area? (and how is that related, sry i dont understand the brain parts too much)
I believe cerebellum is responsible for muscle movement
in general for precision games i recommend medium weight , below 60 is a huge jump and harder to control
good for fast pace fps tho
I think i overwhelm my brain too much
how so?
on the trainer or in game?
trainer
try resting for a day or two yeah. u dont need training for 8 hours to improve
we can talk in dm and i can help u if u want
7-8 is overkill imo
do you guys find drinking more water helps with fatigue?
water, small breaks, food, sleep, changing stuff from time to time
@timber vapor
thinking positively aswell
Yeah i feel that i really don’t have any mental barriers when it comes to aim training
more of motivation ig
u mean like u do it without end? or
Having set times to eat is good for remembering
At least 2 set times
Like 8:00 and 14:00
i actual recently set alarms for my whole day LMAO, idk i just need the consistency
U might have adhd (like me)
Life can be hard for us
Im gonna try to take medication for the first time in my life for it
People say they cried after taking adderall for the first time(prescribed ofc). They say their head is a lot clear and they feel like they are normal for once
^very short btw, they explain a lot more how it helps
yeah i have it i think.... im undiagnosed though but all five of my siblings are but i hate meds just because of family addiction yes it would be nice to have adderall for gaming LMAOO but idk i think alot of life is mind over matter
Its actually bringing u to regular human dopamine levels(and more stuff) not really acting as a boost like it does for regular people
but i don't have like an overwhelming amount of thoughts at all really like i think alot but i never get confused but i definitely confuse other when i talk
Helps with emotions, speaking, confidence, clearness of mind, focusing and directing (controlling) focus etc etc, for us adhd guys
Whenever u feel like there are problems, know that there is a solution (medication or psycho therapy) @timber vapor
For me there a lot of big problems and were for most of my life..
yup i feel that one, you just gotta move forward
although i feel like im more on the ocd side ig rather than adhd
Idk much about ocd
But i think adhd has similar thing
Small things bug me
And i need to quickly fix
Like not perfectly straight chair and a bunch of stuff like that
Well not really bug but it takes my attention and ill try fixing it
Is that what u mean?
not at all, im just really organized like if im not my brain doesn't function, but also i just distance myself from everyone
Same about the distance thing
but yeah i guess i make sure all my stuff is aligned before i do something i like, or when i leave somewhere i HAVE to cleanup
Haha i guess its kinda good
weird ass story but i remeber seeing family in detroit and we went out to eat and as we left i cleaned up after everyone and someone goes "we can tell you're not from here taking care of the table like that" im like damn some people don't pickup after themselves because they live where they think its acceptable to be like that
idk kind a weird then someone else pointed out ocd im like guys
Bro i hate when people keep stuff on the table
i just want whoever is working to have a nice day
Like take it with u
for real.
I’ve recently started sitting normally with a good posture (according to one of the health articles linked) and I’ve noticed that towards the tailbone part is starting to hurt. It’s not a super bad pain and it stops after i start sitting in a more curled position. is that normal? I used to have a pretty bad posture as i sat with my knees tucked to my chest or crisscrossed. It’s been 2-3 days since i’ve started sitting normally.
i get really sweaty hands when doing the aim training but i have no idea why
Is it muscle or tendon pain?
If its muscle might be stamina issue, will be fixed soon
If not muscle, i recommend taking 10 minute walks each day and working your core
With mcgill big 3
Aswell as getting up from the chair every 30 minutes or so
Hello, for my next year of study I would like to choose a topic as a research paper. So I would like to know if anyone has done experiments on how irl warmup (stretching arms, hands, body) and in game (dm, etc) affect aim separately from each other? I've seen Kastor's guide, but would like to have more data behind it. Any articles, books would help a lot. Thanks. Ultimately, I'd like to develop a single effective protocol that covers the shortcomings of both warmups, ideally excluding all in-game warmups (yeah, I know, that's probably not possible)
whats a good way to hold your mouse where you can use ur arm and wrist like 99% of the time id like to use my fingers as least as possible
The regular way u hold it ig
nah ive been using my fingers and its giving me pain
1-3-1
perhaps the only way to use your fingers little and if you use them it is more comfortable because the wrist is in the center
good exercises for the palm/ring knuckle/little finger.? I feel a little pressure in that part after a 4/5 hour gaming session
I broke my pinkie how should I aim with a splint?
why im i feel so sleepy even 8-9 hours of sleep? it feel like i dont sleep or very tired i cant focus on anything
may have some type of sleep disorder but you should talk to a doctor about it because theyre pretty rare and u need an accurate diagnosis to resolve the problem
is this a chat to vent or not personal issues related?
don't
Idk but u can do it in my dms if u feel comfortable enough
You might just oversleep, I had that issue. I found doing something meaningful early in the morning to get me out of bed, then listening to my body when it wants to shut down in the evening and meditating/reading a book to be super helpful. But ofc that is super generalised advise, can't say much without knowing your situation
I thought that too actually, i heard and experienced that when u sleep too much u can feel tired. Something something sleep cycles, time of waking in cycle phase and number etc
If my monitor has some color banding when tilted past 10ish degrees should I bother tilting it more while having worse colors, or not tilt it as much?
Depends on u, if u need the tilt for ergonomic reasons and u consider it worth it then do it
Ergo > color inaccuracy
If u enjoy dynamics more do dynamics, better for warmups cuz they dont weaken the muscle, and u can do them more consistently which is the most important factor, when u enjoy them
I've followed advice to set up monitor where top is pretty close to or slightly below eye level, I've tilted my monitor back about 15 degrees, and I've got my monitor about 20in away. But I feel like I'm bringing my neck to down to view my monitor
maybe I'm just adjusting to it idk
Give it a few days
damn really?
ig 🫡
Try top bezel of monitor at eye level @sand birch
U can try rn or after a day or two whatever u prefer
Its pretty close to that rn
if I lift my eyes up
should I measure distance of monitor from bottom or top?
So whatcha recommend for monitor height?
@white panther @sand birch the advice is to only slightly look down with the eyes not significant neck movement
I guess we didnt think about the same thing
maybe I'll raise my monitor up tad bit
I'm mainly just moving eyes around, but I feel like there's a slight bent in my neck
I've been fidilling around a lot with my monitors position for the past day. But rn after raising it just a bit It's feeling nice
anyone else have eye strain while aim training? I feel like I'm not blinking enough
If u are new then its normal, will adjust soon
U can also use flux to reduce blue light, it helps me. Water ur eyes from time to time + small breaks here and there
should i expect to feel tired while losing weight? trying very hard to reduce how much i eat and i feel like as a result, i'm feeling more tired than i usually am (medication could be a factor too but i'm looking to ask a professional about this)
Normal imo, there are things u can do to help tho
Like eating a balanced diet still, vitamins etc. sport activity, consistent bed times, eating low caloric foods
yeah
You know guys I’m starting to think the chronic wrist pain I’ve been feeling is a problem
But I ignored it for so long I started to forget I had it
Watch some content on 1hp site/ youtube about wrist pain
Rest, mobilization, and exercise can help
It’s more like been a thing over a year or two that forgot I had, so it would have rested for long periods
And any sort of constant use would hurt it so not sure about exercise
Yeah if it’s carpal tunnel not sure anything but medical intervention would work forever right
Not necessarily, u kept gaming same way right?
Also u didnt do mobilization and exercising slowly over time
Nah I go through phases where I do jack shit for months cuz I lose interest
That’s true
But it feels like exercise hurts it
Any excessive use leads to delayed pain
Good point
I’ll warm up next time I need to use them
But these days I use them more for gym
And seated rows
Duck them up badly
But do the some minutes long routine on 1hp. And dont bend them during gym that much
Especially if heavy weights
Grip not bend
Oh
Seated rows you need a bit of grip
U can use a strap until u feel better with the wrist
Ye I think I’ll get one
I still need to do writing at school tho
Like weightlifting ones. They can also increase connection to the back muscles by reducing activation of the forearm and biceps
And that still hurts
Good point
Ye a lot recommend them on rows especially
Something like that?
Writing is a lot less impactful tho
Its aight
Anything I use my hand for
Holding pencil
Holding 80kg
Doing butterfly knife
Holding pencil hurts?
Dam
Takes like 20 mins but yeah
Ironically
The only thing that doesn’t
Is using mouse
U dont do small breaks with stretches here and there? I assume it gets tight and pulls on ur tendons
Stretching is absolute agony when the pain kicks in
Like shaking the wrist and mobilizing a bit, doing the opposite motion of the holding
No need stretching that causes pain
Just lightly
Yeah I try and give it rest but even after 5 minutes between sets
Still gets worse
Kk
U worked out all this time?
Nope started a month ago
I see
Ye
Until now
A bit lower volume on them + gradually building up with high rep wrist exercises over time would be my advice
Read and watch some 1hp content on the wrist
Gl bro tendon pain sux 👍
Gn
I have the same thing
I had a bit of a grip issue when I was younger so it might contribute?
You're probably holding the pencil too hard
Doesn’t really matter how hard I hold it for the pain to arrive, but if I do hold it harder it will hurt more
And it’s not just grip
It’s any use of fingers too much
E.g. balisong or pen flipping
hey what should i do to help with my really bad anger issues
Ranked?
In short, putting less importance on the end result will generally be helpful to reduce anger when things dont go your way
Learn about outcome independence
no just in general
Developing outcome independence helps in general too
ah ok
Anything specific that causes it? It can be a broad thing
I found a fair bit of people that struggle with anger issues mostly struggle with the concept that not everything is under their control. Being aware of that and working on the things that you can control about yourself has helped a lot of them
on lower sens my arm gets tired fast
Like cuz of tiredness? Drugs? Schizophrenia?
Im kinda wierd, I play low sens(0.2@800dpi valorant) and no matter for how long or how much I practice aim, I never feel any sort of fatigue in my arm or that my arm is tired.
Am I practicing wrong/ineffectivly or is it just the thing that not everybody feels exhausted after long time practicing/playing?
Normal, keep playing to get used to it or increase sens a bit( how low is it)
U are probably in a good situation muscle endurance and tendon health wise, all good. Did u make the switch today and thought u will be super tired after or? If u can play days on end without that fatigue then its good i guess
anybody sit in an aeron? What settings do you find comfortable? I'm constantly changing and I'm not sure if the forward tilt is upright, or actually past 90 degrees?
i feel the exact same thing, i came into this channel to ask if anyone else experiences this lol
no clue why it happens but it makes aim training really uncomfortable
usualy cracking my joints helped but once it didmt thats why i typed here as well
where exactly do you feel it?
i dunno if this is the right place for this but my 3rd finger has started to hurt for months i think due to gripping the mouse on the side. Any advice that's not just don't grip so hard? Maybe a product I can buy?
Iam getting pain on my upper arm (most in biceps) while aiming. What ever I do its not going away. The tension is always coming with pain. Its mainly happening in scenarios where I have to move my arm.
I might have fixed it with changing my posture where I have my arm close to my body, but now my shoulder and shoulder-plate starts hurting.
Actually I didnt fixed it
If u dont take active measures to fix it, it will probably become worse. Ive had and still have sometimes because im lazy
Do upper body mobility routine everyday, work on external rotation exercises, strengthen your upper body mainly the back, stretch shoulders, chest, biceps, forearms(light stretches)
Work on your posture with neck, upper back and shoulders
All of this doesnt take much time
Oh and also reduce a bit of time on the pc, to not aggravate pain again(for a few days until u feel healed)
Iam already going to the gym. Iam not sure about it but i have a problem with my right shoulder. When i train my shoulder i dont feel the muscle tireness as intense as my left shoulder. Iam not sure but maybe i have shoulder misalignment.
How about your right lat/upper back?
Sometimes i have pain there. For example i got it recently from hour long standing, but I just felt it a the day after. I got it also from aiming but i dont know what causes it. Right now I blame almoust everything on my chair heighyt, because I am 195cm large and it is difficult for me to find the perfect height. I cant find the sweetspot between having the connection to the table but still beeing able to move my arm easily.
Experiment with a pillow below u
And do mobility
You mean streatching?
Instead of moving the chair up and down?
With it, try multiple combinations
Not just static stretching, dynamic ones as well
@orchid halo
U have good ones on 1hp site
Or on pinned comments
if i lock my wrist movement somehow, train my arm only in aim trainer. so later if my wrist is unlock will it improve both ingame like cs/apex. or should focus on both
If you don’t work with wrist, using wrist after training arm won’t help
You focus on both by using different sensitivities
Likely a tendonitis, caused by overuse / underpreperation of the biceps. Has more to do with endurance than strength (different fiber types) You may have some postural considerations and ergonomic factors playing a role. If you want to talk to one of our PTs for free fill out the form after you click into PT

Anyone know how to fix low comfortable wrist range of motion/finger weakness? (injury like 3 years ago by overtraining with wrist on the edge of the desk and moving with fingers/wrist only)
Since then I’ve gradually started just using my arm to aim and my wrist/fingers have stayed weakened
My grip strength is also worse on right hand and also tried those finger stretch things and I could barely move it
Compared to left hand anyway
These guides are a good place to start!
if you would like to talk to one of our doctors for free fill out the form! https://1-hp.org/gaming-wrist-pain/
Thanks for your help!
Thanks for your time and help!
damn there's a medic?
for me its like the middle of my finger to my knuckle, after like 30 seconds of holding down m1 while tracking it feels like i can feel the bone in my finger moving idk its really weird
idk how to describe it
it doesnt hurt or anything its just really uncomfortable and makes me not want to aim train
There is a whole team
These any good for wrist pain?
I get pain here a lot it seems
Gonna do the thumb 1hp routines
Tried playing kovaaks but got pain here within like 10 mins
@thorn matrix what is this bubble in my wrist
12 days until my cast will be off 👍
glhf bro
thx iam already experiencing that 2 days off for recovery helped a lot
Nice
what do you guys think of caffeine? im thinking of quitting entirely with the idea that it should improve consistency, like my aim shouldnt be affected by whether or not ive consumed caffeine + improved sleep
looks like a volar cyst you need to get the doctor to remove that
Can energy drinks make the reaction worse? Or a bad sleep schedule, I sleep 8 hours but go to bed closer to 2am
you mean reaction time?
energy idk but sleep def yes
yes, I can't react quickly enough to AD close strafes, I think it's the energy drinks, I drink .5 to .75 ml every day
but I could be wrong
Def isn’t the reaction time issue I have like 130ms reactions and fuckin suck at tracking fast strafes lmao
It’s a technique issue at least in my case
I have an average of 200-230ms 😭
keep playing itll get better
So far it's only gotten worse, a few years ago I was at 180ms
idk
idk how then
My mouse hand thumb is in pain sometimes while playing
Any advice to alleviate pain?
Sometimes when I’m not playing it hurts too
It’s towards the base of my thumb
dont tense hand as much and take breaks. drink water. search up hand stretches. relax your arm between downtime. i had the same issue a while back.
I'm not sure where to ask, but I'm just wondering if I should go see medical help. I'm 19 and the past 3 days I've feeling sort of pain from my forearm all the way to my finger on both of my arms. Stuff like a slight burn on my forearm, weird feelings in my fingers, a sort of numbness on my wrist. I've been doing 1hp stretches but nothing been helping. What i'm guessing it's tendonitis lmk if there's anything I should know or do.
hello im not sure if this count in the health section b
as im new but
Guys
So after aim training I always feel fatigued not only on my wrist for a short while
But mostly mentally
Like how do u reduce that
Yesterday I went close to 6.5k bots on cs 2 aim
And it took an hour and the. I rested for 6 hours and then another hour
So it was like 3.3k bots first session 3.1k bot end
And then today my aim seems to have gotten worse
I tried following blameF's routine of going 10k bots a day on aimbotz when he was trying to git gud
It seems to be a problem for years now for me where if I try to go for an aim routine it makes me worse
Even if I don't feel that tired
im trying to go pro in cs btw
also this might not count but im adding it in as context as to why im asking here, its because i want to test out voltaic and see if it have good effect on my cs game and im not sure whether to go on the valorant one or the normal one
@thorn matrix can I get an inv to the 1hp discord?
anyone have tips for finger pain caused from extreme hypermobility?
i have wrist pain (right site palm site) up to the pinky and now my grip is unstable and i can't play at all literally wasting my time.........
any way to get this fix in 1-2 weeks time?
Hey there guys! when I play Apex or focusing 1v1ing people in R5 Reloaded my forearm starts to hurt it is kinda in the middle of it and my arm kinda lifts is there any forearm stretches I can do?
is there any method to fix my dislocated left wrist
ive had it for years now and its not that big of a deal since it doesnt look like being dislocated but only hurts when there is exercise with left wrist involvement
like i can move normally but will hurt if i try doing push up
Seek professional help 😭
You should check out this routine! https://1-hp.org/thumb-extensor-protocol/
Hey sounds like you have some nerve compression as well, fill out the form here for a free consultation to talk to one of our PTs. https://1-hp.org/game-without-pain/
have to build the endurance of the tendons to make up for the hypermobility!
When you say dislocated do you mean it just moves a lot?
somewhere around here
Ye thats very low try to tense ur hand wrist and fingers less or increase sens to 65cm
I assume something is wrong since it hurts when i try doing exercises involving my left wrist
and i dont think its broken so my first idea was dislocation
it doesnt move around
Sounds like tendon pain
You should talk to one of our PTs https://1-hp.org/game-without-pain/

i can vouch for gyro ball @thorn matrix
i bought one and my wrist feels way better after a few uses lmao
One question, can I get injured by shaking my hand when aiming ?
Ive seen kangkang with a bandage on his wrist forearm area, and he twitches a lot with his sniper scope when holding etc, so i assume yes.
Saw a vid about it
any ideas on how to not shake as much? my hands shake a lot in general and tensing my muscles when i grip my mouse only make it worse
Dumb question around drinking water, does diet sodas like coke zero etc contribute to your daily hydration goal as “water” or do they have dehydrating qualities?
will my hands be OK if I use semi auto weapons fast as hell
I meant shaking like kangkang does, like literally moving his wrist left and right in a twitchy manner all the time. U can try practicing with slightly more relaxed grip which is better for aiming smoothly, while applying tension only when u need(and even then not that much). We all had that issue, its practice. Try aiming without tension at all and then go from there to ur ideal (will take some days) + train ur smoothness
I've started weight training 3 weeks ago, currently I'm sick. My question is, can working out too much make you sick? I'm currently doing a PPL split 2 times a week, I just hope that it's just a coincidence. I probably just have covid, a cold or a flu idk.
Is it possible to improve aiming if you feel braindead all the time
like brainfog
do you need to be in tip top shape everyday to actually improve?
just getting started
I'm always fatigued so I need to know if it's possible to get better at aiming even with bad health?
I rarely feel great and I often feel weak. I can't really feel my aim that much. I get tired and sore easily. Will focusing on improving technique be enough?
they hydrate but a LOT less than water
and it still give diabetes cuz the "fake sugar" they put in it is sometimes higher on the glycemic index
maybe focus on getting around 7-8 hrs of sleep daily first
I have a very very bad posture problem. No i dont have a hunch or something yet but i feel very uncomfortable at my own setup, since my desk is way too low that i have to make a bookstack for my monitor to sit up straight, and my pc giving me barely not any more room to move around in my chair to find a comfortable position. But besides that, i have a issue with that i have a very very hard time getting into the habit of sitting up straight. I dont know when i had a better table it wasnt that big of a deal, since i always felt like i sat straight. Is there any ways to get used to sitting straight?
you might wanna strengthen your back muscles and stretch your hip flexers
sitting straight will feel less tiring
does anyone have a picture to show good posture i feel like ive got a decent idea but i need a good way to not limit my abilities with aim by sitting a proper way
because i currently have pain in my lower neck/ upper back arrea
Knees and forearms should be parallel to the floor. Elbows should be at your sides. Sit up straight and do not slump to one side.
Stretching every morning when I wake up and after a gaming session has helped me lots too
i feel like i am looking down at my monitor but if i raise my desk up my arms wont be at a good position and my monitor height is already maxed maybe im too tall\
omg yers im just looking down at my monitor thats such a bad habit i cant help myself
hi guys, I have a question for you. when I start tracking a target in the aim trainer, I can’t do it smoothly, my hand is constantly shaking, how can I fix this?
Working out won't make you any more likely to catch a virus like the cold!

I have pain in the flexors in my forearm and I believe it’s from the extensive amounts of aim training I’ve done recently and I’m unsure of what to do
Should I use my chairs arm rest, or more support my arm on my desk?
Reduce volume of mouse hand work, frequent small breaks, stretch and light direct exercise
Of both sides
Is ur shoulder upper back and neck posture good?
Can cause down the arm tendon irritation
what kinda of exercise? I used to weightlift religiously and then I’d never have any forearm pain really but now I’ve fallen off in the gym
Forearm specific
I think my upper back posture is good but I do lean slightly forward
Slight forward lean is fine
Rounded shoulders and hand extended forward is not
For example
My ergonomics overall is good I think I’ve fixated on it pretty hard over the years
Ok, then above comment applies
Though I think stretching hurts more sometimes which is odd
Do u stretch strongly?
Cause I do stretch and yes I believe so
I see I see
Some useful stretches and mobilizations on the pinned comments + 1hp youtube/site
Ty ty
How do I avoid high tension on my upper shoulder ? I really try to force myself to relax and calm down but only when I aim train on flick (fast and controlled flicks)scenarios I can feel the tension . On tracking scenarios I feel great . Which Annoys me cuz it’s definitely hit my performance
That's great to hear! Probably just a coincidence most likely!
Train your shoulders and upper back, mobilize them as well
And try to not squeeze the mouse and tense the upper body as much when flicking fast
I am trained and flexible person yet I can’t stop the tension on the shoulder every time I play flick scenarios
I even bought a massage gun to reliev some “pain” it’s not pain but my shoulder feel heavy and tired after flick training
Back of shoulder?
Are u new to flick training?
If yes its normal
Need to build the stamina/tolerance to it
Ease into it day by day
Ye the back of the shoulder and middle mostly .
I wouldn’t say new but I started getting to it more seriously recently
Ye thats what i meant mainly, work on your rotator cuff muscles, they stabilize the shoulder girdle
- what i said above
Ok sir thank you
I play on a countertop that is very high and I end up with bad posture because of it. I keep my chair height maxed and it’s still too low for my arms but it then becomes too high for my feet to be flat on the ground. If I were to have my arms in correct posture they would be under the desk. I end up having my shoulders rolled forward and arms extended infront of me when I game so that my arms are on top of the surface. Do y’all have any suggestions for what I could do to improve my posture and ergonomics in my current situation? Is my only option to buy a higher chair? Any help would be appreciated and ty for your time.
i have the same problem
guys how do i get better sleep,i find that i have too much energy and would need to get some exercise to get tired, but since im a total couch potato since day 1 if i workout a lil bit too hard i would get sick for days
Sleep at around 10, dont eat after 8pm. Try not use or touch technology like phone tv for an hour or two before bed. Keep ur room temp not too cold not too warm. Then sleep at 10 and wake up around 6-8. You would be refreshed and gave energy hopefully.
At what distance is it advisable to have a 27-inch monitor?
Ease into it, do a very easy workout, but do it everyday
Hi, does anybody here have any recommendations for a guide for eye exercises?
You dont have to workout. You could just go for a walk for 10-20mins. If you get sick from working out than something might be wrong. If you cant regenerate from a workout than ur sleep quality is bad and/or your choice of food to help you recover is wrong. Stay away from food for 2 hours before bed but dont get hungry in bed because it will work against you. Turn off any lights, close the windows since you need silence to enter deep sleep phases. There is a lot of research on sleep. (for example from Matthew Walker). Understanding how important and powerful sleep is will help you.
i tried 100 jumping jack and 25 burpees as a goal,i seem to be able to reach the 100 jumping jack but the burpees were hard,i did 10,and if u can guess where this is going,my shoulders got sore for days and i got a really bad fever.headache, tiredness and flu for days.
Dont do very high reps like that, burpees are actually hard if done right especially for beginners
As i said do VERY easy workout that u can do consistently
And i mean hard not just in action, they are hard systemically too, fatigue wise
Dont go to failure
No need to in ur situation
This didnt happen cuz u are weak its mostly cuz u went too hard
Too soon
if your body is not used to doing a workout like this then getting soreness for days when you test your limits while working out for the first time is pretty normal but getting a fever, headaches or a flu is quiet alot. working out when your not sleeping well or eating healthy can be bad for your health since your recovery will be bad. to improve your sleep you dont have to do that much. there is a lot of research on sleep. its a very interesting topic. just look up some good articles or podcast from experts.
Doing very light exercise daily has no harm, the opposite is true
He went 0 to 100+ % thats all
He can do both
Read and light exercise, to maximize his results
Being full sedentary is a bad idea, and not just for sleep
ye doing a small workout is good and helps for sure but you dont have to workout to get good sleep.
I basically meant that being full sedentary has negative effects to sleep, and that light workout can be a 10 min walk even. Being sedentary is a new problem, and i believe its tied to the large sleep issues people have. Are u full sedentary and getting good sleep everyday? If yes, who says its for everyone. Sure its possible, but why not maximize his results, we shouldn’t be minimalists imo

Thanks!!
Nah bro
Are you doing endurance exercises for things like your rotator cuff and you scapular retraction muscles? Those will be responsible for stabilizing your shoulders for long periods during the flick scenarios.
@thorn matrix i dont do a particular exclusive training for my roator cuff i am just working out my shoulders in general while making sure i have a daily deep stretch
to keep my muscles not sore(sometimes i do miss my stretch)
Workout ur cuffs they need isolation most of the time
Especially if u have pain
pain is not the right way to describe it , i just feel like its working hard when i play flick scenario's (too hard)some days tho i have no issue at all .
Want to game without risk of of a career ending injury?

@open ivy and I are hosting an injury prevention workshop in the #events channel Sign up now to get notified when we go live!
does anyone know a good free app to track calories
Ye thats what i meant, i know the feeling
On days where u go hard it will happen to u
And in my case it can creep up a lot faster cuz of posture and more problems i have
(I also dont train it)
Do I want both arms to be equal distance apart?
hello, ive been trying to reach out to 1HP via twitter and email, but haven't received a response. i wanted to know if the 12 month plan ( this one specifically https://1-hp.org/product/1-health-point-unlimited-12-months/ ) is suited for people outside of US? @thorn matrix
@open ivy @thorn matrix i am sry to tag you and i hope you don't get annoyed by it. With the goal to finally fixing my sleep schedule i unfortunately can't join the AMA tonight (would have been 12 am for me).
i had one main question and i understand if you will not answer it since its outsite the AMA but never the less i hope i still some help with this.
the Question: I started using a gryoball (powerball) for 1 week now and i would love to know how to correctly use it or overall exercises to strengthen the wrist and build up more endurance. -> my powerball broke down after around 8 time using (it doesn't rotate anymore/ i got a replacement from amazon) but i think i destroyed it by not correctly stopping it. (i just stopped the wrist movement and held it until it stopped) -> this would be the bonus question: i would love to know how to correctly start and stop the gyroball (powerball) after using it. (mine is started by cord).
thx in advance and i wish everyone a great AMA. thx for the support to the community.
Hey we only have providers in the US for the subscription plans right now, we are working on getting international providers.
hey I wasn't able to get to this question, have you read this article? https://1-hp.org/blog/moveyourbody/can-a-gyro-ball-help-improve-your-aim-and-what-on-earth-is-it/
you should let the ball naturally run out of momentum
not stop it
and they make gyroball starters
but the string works
I always spin mine up on the floor though \
or I used to until one of the 100 thieves players stole it!
does anyone know if there are benefits to sleeping before a certain time(let’s say like 10pm) consistently? and if the benefits are big enough for a night owl to transition to?
yo thankyou for the stream today 1hp guys im gonna get some colligen supplements a keyboard wrist rest and some chair boosters to get a better chair height 👍
I'm burned out right now, what can i do in terms of aim training or should I just not?
Yes i read this article thats why i started using one.
I though to get maybe a bit more detail (how to grip it, when (best time of the day) + how much rest time between using the gyroball and gaming etc.)
Thx for the answer on how to stop so i just will slowly go slower (with the movement) until it runs out from itself.
Nervous when doing things like tracking
Anxious*
my mousepad is the qck heavy
When I focus too much I get nervous
I constantly have to focus on moving my mouse and matching the speed of the target
It's kinda mentally draining for me
there wouldnt be health benefits to speak of
but i will say that it will allow you to have a better lifestyle as you get better sleep patterns that allow you to do more things in the day when your body is naturally awake
- our bodies naturally want to sleep when its dark
and wake up with the sun
Does how you sit and having to replicate the same seating situation every time really that important or is it more so just the overthinking that causes us to play shit when we feel like our setup is "off"
I think its not as important as people think, the only thing i think matters is comfort + making sure the desk isnt too high. Having stress about something instantly lowers performance no matter the thing u are stressing about, so its best to not think about such things
yeah its weird though. it feels like if im even one inch off on something i just cannot aim for shit. ive been so inconsistent because of it
Inch off where?
for example monitor too far away, chair too low, arm position off etc
Chair is important to stay consistent, but still shouldnt make u miss everything or stuff like that
End of the day its hand eye coordination
It might be mental cuz u got used to think that it instantly affects ur aim, do the brain “adapted this thinking”
Is my theory
@true slate
In what way is chair important?
because my chair lowers by itself i have to keep adjusting it. so in that sense there is always some inconsistency
If its too high it can cause needless friction and annoyance, making motions that should be effortless be less accurate and more annoying in general
I mean if desk is too high
Hmm, maybe try a chair from ur dining table? @true slate
ah okay. I mean it lowers sometimes and i just adjust it to a height thats comfortable again
I never feel like uncomfortable height wise really
Its so weird because i know a lot of it is mental but its causing me an INSANE amount of inconsistency. Like genuinely dropping 30 kills every game in val one day to literally missing a mag on someone standing still the next. its crazy
Ye mental can do that lol
I hate when it happens to me
We need to care less in general
Stress isnt smooth which isnt accurate
Mental is the root of our problems
Mental training > aim training
Not caring > mental training
Is how i view it
Try to think when u hit ur best shots, u didnt think about whiffing, or ur lose streak or anything like that, u just purely did it
You think aim training fixes that? Cant lie it could be pure coincidence but i was aim training everyday and i was the best ive been in months. Legit dropping 30s a game then i stopped for like 3 days and ive been shit loooool
100% definitely play best when im just fully zoned out not thinking about setup or aim or anything at all
how do you think pros get this level of mental consistency where they can perform consistently in games?
Hmm, i actually dont really know, maybe if i think really hard for some minutes i will come up with some sentences on potentially how they did it, but if u want a better resource, people have been recommending “the inner game of tennis”
Yeah I see that recommended a lot
its so weird as well. Can you relate when I say you can literally feel when your off? Before I whiff I can just feel that im about to whiff
and vice versa with when im on point
Lol exactly
U feel it in ur body, ur hand
It feels weird and weak
U might need to replenish urself with food and water
I find it helps me regain performance
When i get that feeling
Ofc we know we are in the zone, thats why a lot of people “overheat” haha
They get drunk on that
looooool
Also that feeling can also be mental, like u are stressing about whiffing and that makes u whiff, it happened multiple times so ur brain knows its about to happen again, or something like that lol
Bottom line having outcome independence is best - trying to win but not letting thoughts of results stress us
guys how do i have good posture if my chair is more short than my back
im with a pillow but idk
Thats fine no? No need for upper back support imo
Some gaming chairs make the neck too forward so at least u dont have that problem lol
Is this really working? Cause sometimes my wrist is hurt when i train tracking scenarios https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSNM3c84S/
correct me if im wrong but usually with carpal tunnel i think the main symptoms arent wrist pain but rather finger tingling and allat,
so if you have wrist pain you probably need a different solution, where exactly does it hurt? or can you describe it
exactly at my wrist, usually when im moving it left to right and vice versa
hmm, really deep pain or more like upper wrist or lower wrist, side?
basically my suspicion is taht your hand is actually angled up slightyl
so like see if when you move your mouse your wrist is level with the rest of your arm
also js make sure you warm up your wrists well
and dont strain too much in tracking sequences js track very freely
cuz idk if theres a tape that fixes that
its usually near my thumb
ok i get that too
usually i js kinda take a break lol idk a fix
ok thanks for the advice
yeah i mean its not for a fix but a way to preventing or reducing the pain
js kinda chillin out a bit takin a few minutes break does it for me tbh, if not then its usually cuz im tensing too hard
aight2
thanks
how would you program and train your pelvic floor, like how long would you hold it and the breaks sets ect
cuz I do search it up but soo much different info IDK what I would do
Gotcha yeah I normally just recommend players do it throughout the day while in que etc. I recommend more structured exercises that are more measurable to be done as part of a rehab program. Grip changes based on what you're trying to focus on strengthening.
Taping won't fix your wrist pain you have to build the endurance of the muscles. https://1-hp.org/gaming-wrist-pain/
Training any muscle with daily exercise takes 6-8 weeks
Usually the goal is endurance not strength so isometrics of 45 seconds and 3sets of 15 reps for concentrics
Oh oh thanks lot
Would I do this everyday?
6d/wk
thanks a lot
