Consulate attacking side is really boring especially when it's defender sided. If people know how to play it. Well good luck playing in it on high elo. On low elo it's not that bad as you might think but on higher it's fucking horrible. The only thing that I am pushing as a attacker is yellow stairs, rarely basement, lobby and visa office and admin. That's it. Even pushing visa can be difficult because they have hatch open. Defending the site is way more fun than attacking until they push lobby and if you are not watching it you are basically fucked. Gaining control on piano is really easy in my opinion as a defender. I don't have enough experience overall that I could be that guy that knows his stuff. Spawnpeeks is a ich you have to deal with. Doesn't matter even spawnpeek with Aruni on consulates balcony

Villa on the otherside is actually fun to attack. More options to choose from. You can take try doing something difficult like maverick or just going 90 classical hallway opening vault with ace. Or just clearing out trophy and bedroom. Not even talking about vertical playstyle. Defending is also fun. But I don't really know how to play Villa, same goes to consulate.

In high elo, is so pleasant to play it and if both team know how to play at the game, it’s 50/50 imo

The main problem on Consulat is: the spawnpeek, it’s the same since the beta. Overall, it’s a great map but we NEED a change on it and it could be one of the best game in the map

Villa is pain to attack. I remember a match, we start on defense and put 6 them all: 6-0 for us. They bring back the score to 6-6, and we lose it 8-7, NO ONE won an attack, that’s so stupid (unless, it’s one of my favorite map)

spawnpeeks can be easily avoided in consulate tho, side entrance and riot barricade don't really have any truly OP peeks

spawning police line is just idiotic, and gas station is a bit less of an issue except for the ceo peek

consulate just needs some extra walls on spawns or a tunnel to allow people to get out of police line safely

it's already a top tier map in competitive play, which is pretty crazy given how it's not a dlc map

villa is only excessively defender sided in ranked (because clearly no one wants to even bother to play it right) and low tier comp, sure defenders can technically deny all entry points fairly easily but that only really becomes an issue if attackers are consistently forcing their entry where defenders have the most resources

I really don't think villa needs any sort of changes, it's already a great map, people just complain about it in ranked since attacking well means bringing the right ops and not being braindead

don't get me wrong tho, it's definitely the most defender sided map in the pool atm IMO, just that I don't see this as a huge issue as variety in the map pool is always a good thing
