No, I know what you mean. I just think the complete opposite is the case, higher ranked and comp play is a lot more utility than gunfights. However, it also depends on the map you’re on and the people you’re going up against. Going against the SSG stack on Oregon when they’re running jager, wamai, goyo, smoke, and Mira you die while trying to clear utility before even getting into a gunfight. But if you’re going up against like a gmz, kyno, Krol, phish, and jolten stack you’ll most likely have a game full of gun play.

Depends on person handsize-grip ect. There is quite a lot of people using and liking the superlight lately especially, its a non-offensive shape that can be used by pretty much anyone, lightweight, decent battery life, but it depends on what you want from a mouse I guess

Xm1r is loved a lot its the daddy of claw mice for medium-large hands, you'll still see a lot of people using and liking the g203/viper mini too though

I personally am using the RVU have been for a bit, I like it more for its features then anything else though, but I get on with the shape

I think in part its probably to do with the amount of depth siege has that makes it more difficult, like you have multiple roots to attack a single site, you have to worry about vertical play, utility, hard breaching, if the team isn't trying to go for the same execute then it becomes muddled, but its hard to get that sort of coordination when you are playing with complete randoms.

I don't have extensive experience from val personally, and even though I know it has depth, I don't think that it has the extent of what siege has
