But now the game is just a gadget sim and everyone sitting in corners

With shotguns as well

People wonder why the game is so defensive sided it’s because they nerfed mechanics to the ground

Def can sit and hold angles, with shotguns gadgets etc. and attack is expected to clear all these angles with the slow ass mechanics of today

Can’t even ads anymore it takes 14 business days

Watching and playing the game back in year 3-4-5-6 was amazing

You had your insane mechanical players who could frag out and use the “fragging ops” as intended and you had others who utilised slower pace and used gadgets and angles to get a advantage over the better mechanical players and the game was better that way

Now days ash is nerfed 24/7 cos she’s “op”

Saying she is op, when you have fen, clash, mira and a bunch of other ops with better gadgets and just as good guns is wild

Back before champ was released and even when champ first came out I was in plat 2 which was a good rank back then, and the plat lobbies back then were like high champs lobbies today

And then diamond and champ was just insane rank for sweats and pros

Now anyone can be champ

You just gotta play enough games

I’ve seen 0.5kd champs who look lost af and can’t even shoot straight but still got champ by playing a lot and utilising the 0 mechanical need of the game

The worst change was the ads nerf even if they kept siege how it is now and just gave back old ads time id be happy

But tbh siege x just seems like a flop to me

I can’t see enemies, sound is ass, the new hatch drop is terrible as it nerfs attackers again; now you can’t drop a hatch you can’t even ads for like 2-3 seconds after landing

How do you aim in siege? I have been playing Valo and Apex, and I am torn on wether to spray or do 2 bullet and reset. Unlike Valo you can learn the spray pattern, but headshots are always a kill so trying to hit the head for the first few shots and resetting the spray if you didn't hit it also seems logical

You either hit the hs in the first 1-5 bullets or you control the spray and adjust to head or body shot

They all give you better control

You can do stuff with hold that you can’t on toggle like crouch you can change the level you’re at. Prone you can do the same, prone fully, or bit by bit as well as faster hashom and same with lean cancel lean faster, quicker q and e peaks etc. it’s worthwhile to master mechanics just not needed

Also on the whole toggle/hold debate, I play toggle including aim, for me it helps save my brains bandwidth so I can actually focus better, also playing on toggle aim I felt my aimtraining applied in game more naturally so ot really just helps me not whiff, but at the end of the day its completely preference, though technically what sythnix is saying about more control is true I dont think its really worth worrying about, 99% of pros play toggle lean there's only really two that im aware of that play hold

Also if we're doing this again, yes "muscle memory" exists in a strictly neurological sense as your nervous system creates a 'pseudo-memory' through the building of myelin, but no "muscle memory" does not exist in practicality as your muscles don't literally forget how to move if you change your sensitivity the same way you don't forget how to lift weights at the gym just because you choose a different weight. It's musculature all the same.
