I hit diamond on both console and pc and I got picked up by a professional rocket league org as they were trying to expand (Upper 90 since been merged into another org unfortunately) so while in a lot of aspects I agree I also just find that ow is generally more fun to play because if you're better than someone you're just better than them lmao in siege 1 shot headshot throws a wrench in things a lot which can effectively close the skill gap between lower and higher ranks

I mean to be honest I can't say I'm that surprised, the larger part of the community has been BEGGING them to try to do anything about cheaters since like at least mid year 4 and they're just like, alright everyone we released a new trap operator and maverick is in the game, and we took away mutes ability to mute a hatch when placing his jammer on a table close to one, are you having fun yet?
Not to mention the game still runs on an assassin's creed engine which is why it's plauged with issues like teeporting to the top of the sky box to literally instakill attackers lmao

For the most part I agree but when they make sertan changes to angles and gadgets (while I'm sure positive arguments could be made too) the fact is not only are you removing some people's favorite ways to utilize gadgets/angles that can still be easily counterable if you just know it's there, but you also remove player expression creativity and close the knowledge skill gap with how and where to use some gadgets, and that's before mentioning that a solid third of the things they try to remove just come back anyway and people still use them they just become less consistent and therefore more frustrating to do but it doesn't stop them from being nesscary, purple tarps coastline and deployable shields are good examples of this they try to take away pixel angles on shields by adding snapping to edges but you can still bypass it by looking either straight up or down when deploying shields and purple tarps has been "patched" and re found I'm positive over 15 different times by now
I remember first time I got killed from ruins on a nasty coastline angle my first thought was holy shit I'm gonna use that not "that's bullshit take it out"

Iād like to make it a requirement for one of the rosters, if someone ends up in a situation in a round where their game sense or mechanics canāt save them I at least want them to have very solid aim to fall back on. I donāt even play the game as much as I used to but just being in the gold range on the benchmarks has allowed me to perform in top level lobbies on the game thanks to my aim and mechanics alone. My game sense needs work admittedly

u should probably look into site setups also i reccomend to learn defaults first and to not run complex strats
in term of positioning icl u do seem a bit lost at times
but that does come with time n youll naturally improve
also remember peeker advantage on siege is like on steroids and when holding certain angles your shoulder or sum else might be exposed
so basicallly when that happens
the enemy will be able to see u without u seeing them
and youll just get smoked
this is also another thing u will learn with time as in my opinion knowing how to properly hold angles is one of the hardest parts of the game
mostly bc the game is ass but still
just pay attention to where ur shoulders and legs are when ur holding an angle and youll die less and learn wich angles are good faster

The way it was designed is weird as well, sound comes from the nearest place that has a decent opening, some holes arenāt effected if not big enough, but like windows, rotates etc. so you hear people on the left because thatās the nearest open area but theyāre on your right etc etc itās so confusing

The biggest thing in siege is just playing a lot and getting more consistent and game sense
That will only come with playing a lot and dying/loosjng a lot.
So just try to be positive about it and take something out of each loss

You don't need to use any of Ur R6 senses u will still improve them anyway
