It’s still a cloth pad tbf, can’t do anything about the fact that the fabric is constantly getting worn down. I’ve just come to accept that even a worn down hien (as in, past the point where it doesn’t really slow down significantly) is good enough and I like the texture better than anything else

you're supposed to spray and with practice basically all guns are controllable even if you want to shoot a whole mag
it's just that past a certain skill level fights don't usually last more than 5-6 shots per peek so it's kind of irrelevant
you will shoot more than that in some situations, but generally you risk getting prefired if you keep shooting for too long

what I did to practice recoil is just run no attachments like the laser or grip lol, then when you go back to with attachments it's really easy to control. Also I use flash hider with horizontal and laser on every gun, it just reduces recoil the most
but the most important thing is just to play the game, recoil control will come with time

Nice, my kd was a lot higher but as I played more it dropped currently at a 1.55 with 177 ish games, my consistency is so bad sometimes I can play a whole day and be insane then next day not be able to get a kill and sometimes it’s a game by game basis

@odd moss latam is probably the best region for ranked atm tbh, less cheating overall than NA or EU and since most people speak portuguese (or spanish, which is somewhat close) it’s a decent experience
TMs on faceit are also fairly active, and there’s no rank requirement on the open hubs
But even then, learning siege kind of is a full time job and I wouldn’t really bother unless you have a lot of free time and have people to play with

MM relies on MMR, which is separate from RP, so there are champs with MMRs that correlate more to emerald and players below champ that have high champ MMRs (basically anyone who ended last seasons on high champ). Chances are you’re getting a lot of those ass champs for now, which is why they seem so unimpressive
And you probably have a relatively high MMR for your RP, which is easy to check just by seeing how much RP you gain or lose

By decoupling MMR and RP, now people who were terrified to see their rank go down get a bit of a cushion, which is necessary since the lax MM makes them play against significantly better players. Which leads to boring games for the stronger players and unfair games for the weaker players. At the same time, giving away higher ranks helps to counteract the effects for weaker players since they can at least pretend they are getting better when they look at their new, higher rank even if they are getting stomped

Can’t really fix it from the game’s side, but it does make things more interesting by forcing you to be aware of the angles you hold

But making default and predictable angles risky to hold is a good thing IMO

I hate to be the one to tell you this but I'm gonna be honest siege engine is so bad this is actually hurting you more than helping you, on their screen your head probably does not move at all or if it does its completely negligible especially after some changes they made like almost a year ago now, more than anything you're hurting your own aim

It puts your head in cover so it can’t be shot

Lean quick peak is used by the best mechanical players for a reason it’s the best way to get intel and even kills if you’re skilled with it

think of just a lean peak though where just the head is present and think of how much the head is present I personally would argue that the benifit of not moving your own reticle is more important than like a .02 second faster peak, IMO the most important part in siege is playing farther away from the angle you want to peak because the closer you are to a wall the more of your head will be exposed, I'll give you the peak for intel for sure but you'll find a lot more CONSISTANCY without leaning like that too often, when you see it in videos and such you see highlights and yes it looks flashy so of course you're going to see it a lot but I'd argue that there are much more important aspects of the game to learn
especially if you KNOW you're going to be peaking into another person just take the advantage of being able to swing first likely before they know you're there

Also aim isn’t just about moving the mouse, aim is a combination of movement mechanics and raw aim, saying that my reticle moving will throw off my aim is like saying that playing any game with movement will throw off your aim because you move

the reason why it doesn't really throw off your aim is that you are already preaming and then just time the shot
so you don't actually have to adapt to the reticle movement

it's just sad that the game is so remarkably easy to cheat in people can get away with just walls so absurdly easy because it's hard to tell sometimes if it's a drone or not and the game is so old that it can't even detect it not to mention that some people who by default will play legit just rage toggle if they start loosing or think that someone on the other team is cheating and "white knight toggle" siege is so cooked I hate sequels but siege 2 is so nessicary at this point
