but also the fact that good setups are those that allow you to take advantageous fights, which means that even if you just want to be aggressive and swing everything you benefit from setting up the map

both in attack and defence you'll be able to take more and better fights if you coordinate, which is a lot more fun than just doing a coinflip everytime you face check an angle because your team has 0 map control and isn't comunicating

also, it just gets boring to play mindlessly after a while

so you usually depend on map knowledge and information in order to know where enemies could be

that alongside a healthy abuse of peekers advantage, perspective and off angles is what helps the most, but all of this usually requires quite a bit of time to become second nature

it's easier to understand the flow of maps by watching competitive play, but you obviously never get to apply most of it in ranked unfortunately

I'm not sure what that means. To the best of my knowledge (which could be outdated), so long as you have your settings properly set, it should work fine. Honestly just find your cm/360 and type that cm in as your sens instead, bypassing any odd settings you may have incorrectly. Cm/360 is the only thing that matters, truly.

for certain scenarios you can play higher or lower fov

Yep ranked 2.0 was the worst thing to happen. My hidden mmr seems to be around diamond as I’m getting diamonds frequently and some champs, and trust me when I say as a emerald 3 I’m smoking all the champs and diamonds I’ve played against, maybe they had a bad game but I’ve played a few champs now and smoked them in kd, and winning the game against them. I’ve seen some of them play and I question how they even got champ they move and aim like bots and can’t even use the operators correctly.

It's still a great game imo. It's incredibly rewarding when you have a good squad that's working together. If you've played before then the "difficulty" should be the same but you'll have new maps, ops and other elements of the meta to learn again.

In my experience people usually take Control, as they are usually looking for improvement in precision instead of speed for flicks, it could be personal, how many centimeters do you use for 360°? ((I use a medium pad with 34 cm/360))
Also keep in mind that on R6 the crosshair placement is the king, if you aim in the correct spot, you would just need to shoot in the head xD

In general you need to have a good/solid understanding in the game mechanics, what is kind a basic but 60~80% of players don't know
Also Solo Queuing is pretty bad, if you have at least one friend to play together, then you should fly to Plat/Emerald without problems

~ It's also related to how much time you play. If you play 700 rankeds each season, you probably will hit diamond/champ

With 1x+ it changes to 70cm, I thing there is not a real average in sense, most people and pro players use something between 30 to 44, but the sens when aiming is usually slower
