At first I thought ok the mousepad is faster than my current zowie gsr rogue thats why I play with a loweren sens, after 20 matches my aim was lousy shit, then I randomly set my sens higher than before with my gsr and suddenly I hit every shot even better than before. I always thought you had to play slower with a speed mousepad, but apparently thats not the case.

At the time I was playing with every scope magnification equalized to the same sensitivity. Having all scopes be the same cm/360 as my 1x was easier for trying to learn and experiment with every possible sensitivity range. So in terms of personal findings, I can't confidently say I found what is the best for the sensitivity of your higher magnification scopes.

That being said, Renz is right. It's better to find what you're comfortable with. With so many scopes in the game, you're not going to be able to physically 'learn' them all in the same way you would your hip or 1x sens. It'll more so come down to how well it 'feels.' I honestly would simply recommend leaving your sensitivities standardized to the sensitivity ratio that matches their zoom level, and adjust from there. If you find you're more consistent with something different (and it's not an unhealthy crutch), then go for it.

Spent 2 years learning every sensitivity range because I wanted data and experience to prove what really was the ""best"" sensitivity for each type of circumstance and game. Decided that 40-60cm was the optimal range for click-timing based encounters with the highest degree of consistency vs flexibility. 50cm is not only directly in the middle of that (providing people with a reliable starting point), but also ~52cm happened to be the averaged cm/360 of all who I considered to be the best Siege aimers at the time-- so there was proof of consensus. 30-35cm is what has long been proven to be the most globally optimal sensitivity range for a 'complete' aiming type [such as what you'd find in aim trainers], so having that as your hip gave you a good flexibility for centering your crosshair before ADS'ing, but it also happened to be around the averaged hip cm/360 of those previously mentioned professionals.

It's a consistent base that gives people a consistent starting point to figure themselves out.

For record's sake: I stopped playing with 1:1 sensitivities in games a long time ago after I was done with my little experiment. I've found it's quite beneficial to have that additional layer of flexibility in your mobility. I never have recommended uniforming your sensitivities, and I definitely still don't. Especially at larger scope magnifications, I agree, it does indeed start to feel real weird.

what happens is that higher zoom optics effectively just reduce your FOV, which means that if you have the same sensitivity on acog and 1x every mouse movement translates to the same amount of degrees rotated, but as your FOV is smaller on acog said movement ends up being much larger (proportionally speaking) when compared to 1x

in any case, you could try matching cm moved to the proportion of degrees rotated for each scope but that's just a massive waste of time and really serves no purpose

time better spent aim training or, even better, working on your overall positioning and engagement timing

I've been running suppressor only for a while now and it's really improved my mechanics

Extended barrel has to be the worst attachment ever

Literally all it does is refinforce hitting bodyshots in your subconscious because drrrrr I can 3 tap them!!!1!1!

The only guns I wouldn't use suppressor on are like smg11 and ela honestly

If you're being serious about improving, then obviously the Hz upgrade would outweigh any resolution preference, but practically speaking it's still perfectly fine. I don't notice anything being more pixelated like I initially expected I would.

I will also say, I strongly prefer IPS panels even though TN panels are typically more performance optimized. May be easier said than done but if you can find a good IPS panel, then I'd say it's worth it.

Can be trained just like any other skill but genetics has way more of an influence than other physical skills. Combination of reflex training, diet, hydrotherapy and some nootropics experimenting. Obviously VRT is a bullshit 'skill' that isn't nearly as remotely useful as aim training or learning strategy, but I was just curious how far I could push it at the time.

As I was saying above with that, high Hz monitors basically cheat and shave off 30ms for free. That was only second try. First try was 140. These days, out of practice, I'm sure my avg is higher but that wasn't the point I was making.

It's been rumored for a while that they're also trying their hand at making an FPS game. I can't remember at the moment but if I recall correctly they acquired some studio that was associated with Ubisoft that has a history of making FPS games? Also Siege's head of Esports WeiYeu (who destroyed Siege esports) moved over to Amazon just recently, so you don't hire an FPS Esports director if you aren't making an FPS Esport.

Don’t copy his sense or play style, it’s a really hard curve from the rest of the bunch, along with he was very inconsistent and was wishy washy when he would be amazing, playing the sense he does, you run into the shaky hand or flicking off the head because you have too fast of a sense. He played it for the aesthetic but does well with it on Val
