i guess im asking this mainly cause i play cod now, which predicting won't really work since people don't move enough for you to have to actually adjust
when i play diabotical i kinda get what you mean with being predictive

but how can it boost reaction speed, if you're predicting?

you need to know what to predict

like you said, cod has low movement speed, so you can "predict" they will just keep going in the straight line

predicting however is worse in diabotical lg duel, because the movement speed is high, and the enemy is actively trying to dodge you

so now you need to be reactive to their movement, instead of trying to predict

correct prediction makes you react faster, but wrong prediction makes you react slower

so you need to know what is predictable and what is not

in-game, you can use your gamesense to help you predict
