Also weight is more of a factor, I believe, than people realize.
I've tracked myself in different aiming scenarios with heavier mice (g502 ex), lighter mice (80-100g), and the lightest mice (FM) and the performance is definitely leaning towards lighter weight.
But I mean that could just be me. It could be what other people are comfortable with, because comfort is really the main factor.

I agree with everything he said (in the 2nd video) but I think he takes it a bit too extreme. Not that that's wrong, but rather I feel it's more productive to think about that once, and then invest time into focusing on other things from then on.

Nah, I disagree entirely. The reason why I suck at tracking is because I only focus on my target and not on my crosshair since that's what I do to clicktime. I end up being just off of my target and tracking in front of / behind it. Every time I do well in a tracking scenario is when I focus on keeping my crosshair on target at all times 60t/40c-ish.

To be fair, the only tracking scenarios I'm semi-decent at ("semi") are Long strafes, pasu tracking, and flick and/or target switch scenarios.
I don't do any extreme strafe scenarios, but I think they're not useful practically.
