ive been running no fills for about a month now, what would you say is the loadout to killing someone in a squad that does not involve 3rd partying them? i usually run my dueling setup which is CAR/Prowler or CAR/Wingman, thing is you rarely get close enough to use either gun except maybe the Wingman without having to shoot at 3 people at the same time because you had to get so close to do so, i feel like killing someone in a duel/Arena is much different then killing someone in a BR because the effective engagement range can be much further and makes double SMG loadouts hard to do without getting close, having them spot you, then having to run because its now 1v3
I was thinking running a mid range gun like the flatine along with my usual SMG of choice, so open from mid range with the flatline, crack them, ash ult in, try to kill them with the SMG and then run away? is that ideal? if i AM supposed to run duel SMG for no fill and actually killing people without ratting, i have a hard time getting close enough without them hearing me because im so close and now its 1v3

Yeah, currently solo queue is pretty rough. I feel like people are a bit better about not zerging and being overly aggressive, but you get a lot of the people who ratted out expecting similar results, or will make a weird play that costs your placement. Mistakes are punished way more in this mode.

somewhat true but you are often getting controller players and no-mic. At least when I soloq val/cs (I made it to immortal and rank A respectively) I know my teammates are mostly a similar skill level and they are on PC and 90 percent of the time use a mic.
SoloQ in apex is basically only teammates use mic 20% of the time and you are getting teammates 4 or 5 tiers below you quite often and on console. BRs are very unforgiving.
Of course it's possible to still solo q in apex, I just started playing last season and solo Q to diamond 3. But it was not an enjoyable experience.. So often I had someone else get drop who has no idea what they are doing and immediately loses the game for us and you have to rat the entire time just to salvage the round.
I hope if the player base can grow to 250k avg players in steam and stay there or keep growing then they will separate the console and pc lobbies.

sens doesnt matter you are building mouse control when aim training. the strafe scenarios help your overall aim because it is incorporating movement into aim scenarios not because it is training you to aim on a specific sensitivity

I feel like loot spawns per round are especially biased. Some rounds it'll be impossible to find a certain gun or hopup, and the next you'll trip over them.
My guess is the generated loot randomness isn't designed for a specific distribution as opposed to just chance, and especially prone to psuedo randomness which leads to those moments where you find fifty PKs one game and one the next.

So I ult out and clear the distance, enemy team can't catch up to me let alone the Path. We can probably even wrap around and reclaim banner.
Then for whatever fucking reason once I got a good distance he decided he wanted to fight the team again.
No comms just changes his mind and pushes in 1vs3.
