• Do more random strafe and crouch jump, try to be difficult to get shot
• Dont hold your gun all the time, go between punch and gun all the time to get more velocity

• Then when you start to win your 1v1s easily, play ranked and learn the gamesense

Yeah, there's just a lot of nuanced mechanics to learn that make things a lot easier for you. Once you get the recoil smoothing, strafe aiming, movement, and feel for things it'll come quick.
