For me that will always play into why I play bad

I also found I usually did better after a break from Kovaaks because I focus less on aiming in Apex. You could be doing something similar where you begin to treat Apex the same, but you can't really tunnel on aiming, it's better to just let it flow and let your focus stay on things like positioning, rotations, etc.

in high ttk games stretched is strictly preference due to it increasing the visual strafe speed of targets

its not like cs where noticing and acquiring your target with high speed are significantly more impactful (as well they are often standing still)

i prefer how stretched feels because i played 4:3 for a long long time in tac fps so native looks "skinny" to me, but i dont feel it provides any gameplay advantages beyond stable framerate

if anything i think i play better on native, and ive heard a pretty good amount of people say the same
