Pretty much anything is good except Mozambique, easiest guns to beam people with imo are R-301, Rampage, Turbocharger havoc, R-99, and CAR, so I would learn those first if you're new. Shotguns are shotguns, like any other BR. Aside from that you could use almost anything if you're good with it. Experiment and see what you like

shotguns like peacekeeper and mastiff are also very good picks due to needing very little ammo (you only ever need 1 stack of shotgun ammo)

wingman is also quite good but it can take time to get used to the visual recoil

part of it definitely is that respawn plays it really safe and doesnt have a spine about half of the shit they do, but a lot of it is also just that you cant kneecap such a large audience without being very careful about how you go about it

That's because AA back then was just your basic slight magnetism on ADS to make up for roller's lack of microcorrection.

Now rotational aim assist gives insane smooth reactivity just for holding any input on left or right stick.

The only reason perception hasn't changed is because roller players literally don't know how rotational AA works, and so the majority have deluded themselves into thinking they're better than they actually are.

Essentially as long as the player is holding some input, and the target is within a threshold bubble in front of the player, it will react and track that target until it dies, or overcomes the speed and threshold range. That's why tap strafing and mirror strafing works so well against controller since tap strafing is a close and fast enough movement to break the bubble, and holding a mirror against inexperienced roller players will likely predict you to move and pull their sticks away from the AA.

Yeah, Respawn are fucking dumb AF when it comes to handling popular POIs. They think the way to reduce its popularity is by altering it or by nerfing loot tables.

Meanwhile they completely gimp other POIs and wonder why no one goes there anymore.

Oh yeah, fragment will always be population dense. Respawn needs to understand there will always be a hot zone. That's why all these extraneous changes actually just end up hurting everything and making the POI even more popular.

But this is also the company that thinks they need to buff Gibby just because casuals don't use him so.
