It's definitely doable, just put in consistent practice and remember that benches aren't everything. Plenty of cracked aimers without badges here, and plenty more better than me.

as hollow has said, (for trios): their team needs to only hit 33% of their shots per teammate and you have to hit 100%. Micro positioning and movement and knowing how to abuse doors+luck is going to be needed. This is what i've observed and attempt to practice myself

@alpine trail So the Dusks are fantastic for music. Tried a fairly broad range but it's great even listening to fucking Spotify of all things. Actually gonna take some getting used to for Apex, but it's definitely an improvement.
Gonna try some xelastec xtra small tips though. Ears were a bit sore after using them for two hours, though that makes sense not being used to IEMs let alone ones with fairly large nozzles.

I find labs isn't bad, turbine is the place you don't want to be.
Turbine is too close to too many POIs and has rotations from every single one, so any fight there guarantees you'll get crossfired by multiple teams.
I also refuse to drop estates. Mostly rotations, but also trash loot.

Yeah, docks is a good drop. Enough loot, and definitely spread out enough to take some early fights. I just find that, for whatever reason, people aren't willing to hit the surrounding areas and all just try and contest the middle.

Play pubs until you are able to take 1v1s. No need to play no fill at first.
Watch good players, see what they do different.
If you wanna spend extra time, you can analyse your own gameplay + spend time on firing range + use kovaaks for smootness and reactivity for smooth tracking.
Only way you get better is that you play the game with good mindset. Practise, practise, practise.

Im looking where enemies are landing seeing if it would be potentially better to swerve to a nearby POI is they are monke contesting, we are landing close but not too close to where we are taking each others loot, we are looking to get useable guns as quick as possible and then we try to wipe the other team quick before they get too looted, we reset and expect the third and make sure we have someone on watch while we are crafting etc.

Depends on the legend you play, like in the tourneys players like hal or hakis, they play aggressive legends like wraith and they look for angles to get advantage for their team. If you play something like gibby, you have the responsability to cover your teammate(s) and poke the enemy.
