Anyone know of good non-placebo optimizations to get apex to run really smoothly? I've always felt like despite frame-limiting to 190 the game doesn't feel nearly as smooth as overwatch, or call of duty. I've seen things like disabling fullscreen optimizations, and changes in the nvidia control panel etc, but I've never felt like any of that stuff did anything.

Really depends on multiple factors and hardware. Apex definitely feels CPU bound once you get past 144 fps, and stability is difficult to achieve even then.

Yeah, I find changing up sensitivity is great for long term growth. The week I'm changing it around, my in game performance dips a bit in the short term, but long term it gets much better.

Also I forgot I was 32cm, but I'm 37 lately.

It's also good just seeing what works for you. I look at aim training a lot like playing guitar. Some people can have some absolutely mad technique, but if it works for them and it doesn't cause pain, that's all that matters. It might not work for you, but it's their personal thing.
