also forgot to mention this but one of the reasons the flatline could feel better hipfire-wise despite being quite similar to r301 hipfire is due to the fact that it has more damage per mag. so if ur only hitting 50% of the mag thats 196 damage for r301 vs 285 for flatline

more damage per mag (392 for r301 vs 570 for flatline) so even if you have the same accuracy you are getting more damage overall. the slower firerate making it dump ammo less making it feel more accurate and making the accurate shots really feel like they HIT despite similar hipfire accuracy. also practice with the gun can be a factor as well

also for the record the dps is 189 for r301 and 190 for flatline so that is not a significant factor

thats cause it has a higher base mag and a slower rate of fire to goes through ammo slower and could also be better preformance because its not getting the final couple random shots as much as the ending.

this is an interesting idea though. that despite having similar spreads because of slower firerate it has in effect better hipfire because its taking "longer" to get to the end of the spray pattern(where it gets bad)
