Any rotational aim assist is awful. AA should only ever be sensitivity slow and a slight magnetic pull if you ADS within a limited range to compensate for a lack of microcorrection.
But even then I'm always opposed to mixed inputs.

I've heard that one in particular was staged, but yeah any tests with rotational aim assist has involved the player getting into a position where they are stuck from moving, inputting a direction on the left stick, and just letting it do the rest.

pretty much the main signs of people in the area you're looking for are closed doors in areas where shit's open, traps, sound cues, contrasting dots in the horizon, etc. You're barely looking for shadows
