consider recoil for any kind of ranged shots when you can appropriately stand still, knowing what the pattern is kinda helps with how you want to strafe as well, i don't think about recoil when tracking a target but knowing and being able to control the recoil well enough to hit 200+ on targets at range while still is important imo
