wich is the case because u need to move the mouse further to make the sensor send that u moved 1 increment

dpi is practically the wrong term its actually called cpi

counts per inch

and the more counts u have per inch the smaller the distance is between each of them so less time it takes for the sensor to send 1 count to you pc
