yeah, they can just copy the exact logic they have for it over to whatever engine and it should work, or at least would be easy to make work. But even if not its kind of a side effect of the intended behavior of a zipline, like they would have to specifically add code that makes superjumps not work, rather than needing to write code to make them work if that makes sense.
I think the reason it works the way it does is because they do want you to be able to jump, then grab a zip, and still be able to jump off, reattach, jump again etc. By keeping normal jumping and zipline jumping separate it can actually simplify things since you can always jump off a zipline and a zipline jump is always the same, you dont need to change the coyote time or jump fatigue systems.
Im not sure exactly how they implement jumps, but probably you have a jump counter (usually 1) that gets -1 every time you jump before touching the ground, where it will reset back to 1. When you jump, you go in the air you have a jump count 0 and cant jump again obv.
So to fix superjumps they would just need to have grabbing a zip also set your jump counter to 0, super simple fix that doesnt change anything else but they havent done that yet so i dont think they are against the mechanic
