Honestly, in SoloQ they've always had a good degree of uselessness. But, yeah. This meta makes the issue 100x worse due to how quickly people can reset. Gaining RP SoloQ is genuinely the same as it's always been, it's just giga strict in comparison. You only ever get to really push if you see your randoms are trustworthy enough, or if you have an almost unbearable push(which is rare now)

The pro scene and game in general is around 70%+ roller last I remember(could be diff now, but I doubt). It's just a better input for this game in general due to the form of aim assist. You just have to know that they're gonna consistently hit shots they shouldn't do to AA tbh. Your only advantage genuinely is just very long range fighting(which is very bad in general in Apex)
