They will just swing 1 kid and then it’s over because your team had 3 people with 3 plans
There’s times where that doesn’t matter but it matters a lot
For some reason solos also have terrible sense on when to bail
I dip and play my life a lot when I smell coordinated aggression
They have mobility and will just chase you down once they’re done thirsting your teammate
But ppl just hold angles and let themselves hang out until they’re ready to push again
It’s also why I always run support if nobody else is taking it
Because the way you play solo is to recognize when a fight is over and to fuck off
The good news is is that resetting is common and normally the same three stack that wiped your team is roaming the map emptying it out for you so there is extra room to find a crafter and reset and usually by the time you do that you’re in top 10
The hard games are the slow ones where your team has no desire to play position but nobody is dying

- soft edge
As a solo
Highly coordinated squads can push limits farther and are allowed to look at dynamic edge, elite spot, and deep zone play styles
Shallow zone is not a win condition; it’s a transitional state as you look for elite spot
Hard edge is not desirable and is only done as a last resort
You can also force elite spot or deep zone play by speccing for it with controller legends but again that rampart isn’t going to stop Hal from pushing your shit in if you cannot stuff their swing attempt when they inevitably grav lift to height or someone gets cracked poorly
Those playstyles only work if you can actually hold the position
