Its not as useless as yall act like, jumping is an instant velocity boost, landing into a slide is another instant velocity boost AND a hitbox shift, close range this can make your opponent be forced to stand still as they turn to look at you which reduces their own velocity AND curves their strafe making their apparent speed even lower. Lurch is mainly a way to reduce the negatives of jumping rather than an actual dodge tool imo

DX12 is a more hands on graphics library. TLDR is the potential power is higher if used properly by the game but a game made on DX11 can not just be switched over to DX12 for free wins. Worst case it would be slower.
