why do the pros tap their ADS in the middle of a hipfire and strafe fight?

im new to abecks and im trying to learn from vods and stuff

like they tap it for even the briefest moment

it slowly transitions to hipfire spread
so if you just tap ads a few times during a fight
you can effectively tighten the hipfire spray without losing too much strafe speed

as a controller player who is trying to get better with both mnk and controller i think if respawn decides to increase aim assist to mnk it would make it even across the board for example controller aim assist is 0.6 (60%) and mnk has 0.4(40%) aim assist (100% aim assist is aim bot) mnk aim assist should be bumped up to 0.5(50%) why not 0.6 well because mnk players have a wider area to aim i.e mouse pad where as controller players thumb stick has dead zones and this makes it harder for controller players to aim. disclaimer i am not trying to piss somebody off i just believe that the mnk vs controller argument should be put an end to and that we should work together as a community to make the game better and more enjoyable
