They're definitely broken, but that's why they like them. Burst means you have better hipfire accuracy so they don't run into the same issues as Flatline/R301 spread after trying to shoot more than a short burst. Tracking smoothly just gives recoil smoothing, and with 0ms reactivity they're super effective with controller to hit every round of the burst.

See, I never felt that way playing UT, CS, BF, CoD, etc growing up. I never expected the game to reward me just for passively playing. If someone was just a lot better, I knew it's because they put the effort into it and I'd have to do the same. Moreover, you had a better sense of community without these restrictive matchmaking algorithms. You'd see new faces all the time, but you'd also have the regulars.

If someone just wants to have fun, never be challenged, and never have their egos bruised then why are they entitled to a multiplayer environment and dictate how everyone else in the server must play? There's single player games out there and difficulty settings for that.

Thats all fair points, but there needs to be a balance. There have been plenty of cases of people introducing their friends to apex and after the few intro game they get thrown into lobbies with preds and steamrolled only to quit. I can't say i blame them either as it feels like the game is punishing you for being new. Which will only lead to the player base getting smaller and smaller. Im not saying they should fully cater to new players but some amount of sbmm needs to be in place for the lowest echelon of players.

I remember first starting CS all my mates were Global Elite, so every game was rough as shit for me. I only stayed with it because it was with my bois but had that been the experience out of the box id have given up. Learning from failure is fun and all but when you get rolled and spend more time in the lobby or spectating than playing you are going to get bored and give up quicker

I agree, something initially should be in that place. The range and tutorial needed to be far more in depth. I do agree that for the first while a game should have limited matchmaking so it's strictly newer players, though with F2P you still run the risk of smurfing. There's no perfect system, but SBMM (honestly we know it's EOMM but whatever) all the time is not it.
