you have the general approach down pretty good from your vod, one thing you do sometimes is when you reset and then try to reacquire and overshoot you keep trying to get on the target first before speed matching
i find that prioritizing the speed match and then trying to smoothly get back on is better and makes it less likely that the entire run falls apart
since youre still doing the smooth motions instead of being smooth, spazzing around, then trying to be smooth again

Leg day is a scam. I remember doing a powerlifting routine that was just compound lifts and got my squats to 3 plates and I couldnt fit into any of my jeans anymore. Also the psychology of lifting that much weight gave me anxiety every time

I think if you're actively aiming to focus on certain aspects (avoiding flicking or tension, smoothness and centring, and reacting over predicting) then there's not much harm on grinding stuff like VT plaza.
Passively playing just to get score increases not so much.
But that could also be said of so many other scenarios and categories too.
