BounceTS was the last one I got up too. It really emphasizes having good tracking, target priority, good pathing, and switching.

Also that difficulty makes it less enjoyable to practice. Makes sense why it's one of the harder scenarios.

everyone wants an open event but no one wants to help organize it

there is VT Apex Night every other week though that people can attend which is TDM/Control with community

there are plenty of people that were invited that either dropped the day before or couldn't make it

and the apex-VT members were given an invitation to the event

i wish there were more/bigger people but there were still a lot of really big mechanics players in the event

a lot of close brackets

there was an attempt to get a bunch of people from a bunch of different styles of gameplay/audiences

movement players, aim trainer players, ranked grinders, pro players, etc etc

every movement player got fucking wiped lmfao

this is not to speak badly of those players, but most of them lost relatively early on to more aim-centric players who knew a bit more about fundamentals

saiyoji (winner) vs eskyja, mythos (winner) vs fontayne, zeddo vs nix (winner, this was really close though)

movement player doesn't necessarily entail that they have a good grasp of fundamentals, but doesn't mean that's always the case

i'm not sure who king victor is but zeddo is a good example

uses movement decently well to fight people

supergliding/sliding/tapstrafing/wallbouncing around is really bad if you don't know how to use it to control space, properly swing opponents, and choke out opponents

using it for raw dodge is so poor frame and function

Yeah, it's amazing how when one mode is ass it fucks over the other. When ranked was too hard for most players they just went to pubs and they felt free until EOMM would kick in, and now that it's so easy for them to grind it out all the good players got masters in a few days and just made pubs degenerate as fuck.

If I play pubs now it's just 15k master badge players holding hands and suspicious arena preds.
