I feel like aim training is a faster way to improve aim, but just through raw grinding you'll also probably get really good aim

like most pros have 10k hours on apex at this point, so they have improved enough to have really solid aim even without aimtraining, especially if they have played fps games before

How can you determine if an aim trainer will be beneficial for you? I have significant concerns regarding Kovaak's effectiveness due to the time commitment required for it's routines and its lack of implementation of crucial elements such as movement in and out of cover, recoil simulation, and the bullet drop/speed associated with shooting targets at ranges of 200-300m. The concept of tracking a ball or cylindrical object in an open environment for 10 minutes appears impractical since it does not accurately reflect the dynamics of in-game combat using AR's or LMG's (SMG's are a different story). Furthermore, it fails to consider factors like recoil when the target is moving slowly on the screen, requiring players to employ techniques like side strafing and jitter aiming to keep their reticle on target. From my personal experience, weapons like the spitfire necessitate jitter aiming at longer distances due to the slower strafe speed. So I was wondering if committing 40mins to an aim training routine would really improve my tracking as on a good day I'm able to consistently drop 1500-2500 damage games but on others it feels like my reaction time increases and I'm losing easy gunfights.

If you have only <1 to play then any aim training is going to easily wipe the floor for time density. Consistency is the most important thing. I was at my peak when I did Kovaaks for only an hour 6 days a week.
