Reason they won't lower it is the same reason they won't fix matchmaking, everything is made for maximum retention and profits. Lower aim assist -> less casual controller players play the game -> less money they spend on skins in said game

I have copium they're gonna change it sometime this year though, someone asked Sweet about it in his reddit QnA and he said he was under an NDA so he couldn't talk about aim assist. Knowing sweet he could be trolling, but knowing respawn I could see them forcing pros to not talk about future nerfs that will upset the majority of their playerbase

the movement is very different but with some small similarities

But IMO, playing lots of apex helped my quake aim more than the other way around

The games that transfers aim the best to apex imo are OW and the two tac shooters
