majority of controller players are so bad with zero hand eye coordination most of them don't even bother to track the target with their eyes and just sitting there waiting for aim assist to kick in that makes them miss some shots that's probably the biggest reason why aim assist isn't getting nerfed. You don't even need to be precise with sticks the only thing you need to do is just stay in the aim assist bubble. I destroyed my roller friends the first time I touched a controller in my life and that was unbelievable to me. aim assist auto aimed for me like I questioned my self how is it possible to 1 clip someone four times in a row the first time I touch a controller but can't do that with 200 hours of kovaaks
I mean casual controller players are just so bad to the point that free smoothness + rotational auto aim + automatic slowdown doesn't satisfy them enough and the say "you have your whole arm"
