yea so I guess a better way of explaining what I'm talking about, when I used to "flick", I wouldn't flick and microadjust, I'd just do a slow drag onto target, one single motion. So I didn't have the proper base technique, I just practiced bad technique for years. All I did was drag my mouse onto target as close as I can and hope it hit. Seperating large movements into a quick flick + microadjustment is proper technique I had to re-learn(still working on it), but what else am I doing wrong from a technique perspective? I'm sure I'm doing things wrong, a discussion a few days ago led me to realize when I track I use either my wrist or my arm, and didn't combine movements, so I'd hit the edge of my wrist range then have to swap to arm which is causing me to "catch" and then not being able to micro-adjust afterwards, since my wrist was already at it's limit
but proper technique for trackin would be matching speed with my arm and using my wrist to microadjust
I think my technique is all fucked up on many things and it works ok to some extent but overall is making it harder for me to improve, basically I'm learning how to do it wrong but doing it wrong really well, instead of learning how to do it right

You'll generally wanna leave it at 1.0, that basically means the speed feels the same if you're tracking a moving target, if you turn it up to match the 360/cm it'll feel uncontrollably fast for higher zooms scopes. Your lows get better as you get better overall, but I'm not at the point yet where my aim is consistent, my bad days are still embarrassingly bad. Likely same for phoenix. Their casual playerbase has basically encompassed the entire core/professional by such a considerable margin, and especially as of late the game is dipping because of other issues so all they need to do now is the bare minimum at correcting what has been gathering ire and the casual playerbase will go back to "see Respawn cares about the game even though they basically created these problems in the first place" mode.
Worst case scenario is basically the pro scene eventually gives up on the game, but considering how little energy EA was putting into it anyways I'm sure they'd actually prefer that.

Makes me feel like im playing worse than a silver at times because of how horribly I'm whiffing and I'd lose almost every 1s. All the auto gun sprays would just be off the mark, no consecutive hits. Gets me tilted losing fights cause of bad aim. They definitely happen every now and then and it's very noticeable for me

They can apply to all FPS games, I just say crucial to Apex because it's inbuilt FPS limiter is dogshit and has horrible frame pacing, and nvidias frame limiter doesn't help in that aspect
I use it in all games and imo it makes a huge difference, the onlly time I don't use it is if the in-game frame limiter has great frame pacing and no input lag, which I think only applies to overwatch

I think I was messing up technique initially, try matching target velocity with arm and then using wrist/fingers to microadjust on target

I don't know AMD, but my assumption is that's a similar module to nvenc, which is basically a dedicated encoder so you lose no performance when you use it
but google it first, it might be different. I'm just asssuming it's AMD's analog to nvenc

Yeah, definitely don't use x264 unless you are running an AMD GPU and don't have NVENC.
That means it's using your CPU to encode, which is super taxing.
x264 can have better quality than NVENC, but you need a CPU basically dedicated to doing that encoding to have that, which is basically saying dual PC or bust. NVENC will be better in 99% of cases.
