I just recently found out that there is a difference in audio based on what combination do you use e.g.:
low master in game + max in windows
vs
high master in game + low in windows
Currently though both sucks as former gives more directional sound to me but I can't hear as much as with latter setting while latter creates similar situation as back in the days when miles_occulision was a thing and to an extent I lose directional sound, especially vertically.
But as we all know Respawn focuses on visual no audial as latter does not bring income...unless you create paid actually working audio package/battle pass "for gamers" 😄
p.s. also having Gibi, Loba, Wraith on the team just sounds almost exactly the same as enemies, when they run in close vicinity ~20m or less. The rest legends are more tolerable and there is some difference in footstep sound levels.

yes you have to have a certain amount of momentum speed to be able to slide bullet slowing you (exept if you are a gibby caustic or new castle) so when you get shot you have lot of chance to deadslide. the octane stim bypass it and bangalore passive bypass it but you also sometimes deadslide because of the server that is bad even if you try to slide when you have enough momentum

apparently its not about the momentum speed but a timer 120 ms
cause the faide slide use the 120 ms timer while crouching then he able to slide instantly
i always believed you needed a certain amount of speed
the only fact that you deadslide cause of bullet (i believe) its because of the interpolation and lag compensation etc that make the bullet make u go a lil bit in the past when u get hit so it could fcked up the 120 ms timer (that the only things im thinking rn)

Just play pubs and you'll get used to facing stacks 
Pubs is the best practice for ranked because you'll face nothing but aim assist hand holders so if you don't play perfect you'll just get dunked on.
