It's very aim intensive for sure. It's also got a pretty slow ttk compared to other popular games. You'll get rewarded for having good aim mechanics and uses a csgo like recoil system when you ads. It's why I love playing this game so much as aim training will shine here.
Game is worth checking out as it's free. It's incredibly good just don't go in expecting a full on esports experience similar to cs/val and so on

Here's my take, ranked is pretty alright until you get into higher elo. Also certain times are straight up dead and you either need to queue with people in other regions or just not play. 5 stacking tends to not be doable a lot of the time. 3 stacking sometimes in high elo doesn't work either due to lack of other 3 stacks, (also superstring players can only duo).
I think ranked is alright but sometimes it will give you unwinnable games with really poor team balance. Also a bit net negative is how toxic the high elo players are, and how egotistical they are. It unironically makes me snap sometimes.
My biggest issue with this game is by far the community honestly
I think the game rewards aim very hard, and it also rewards movement and gamesense incredibly so. So it definitely feels very worthwhile to grind but honestly the community drives me insane
I'd honestly recommend the CN version even if it feels somewhat isolated and lonely to play sometimes. The biggest factor in the game is just make a friend group
(Also CN has like 4x the playerbase of APAC, NA and EU combined)
anyway that's my essay 
When I mention community I'm mostly talking about quark and superstring players, a lot of them have poor personalities. Some electrons are also super toxic but it seems to be more chill the lower the rank is from my experience

It's not overall negative if it's simply true. The fact that I dread getting into a game now in ranked because there's a 25% chance I get someone throwing the game just because I'm on their team is ridiculous. If they aren't throwing, I'm probably getting completely trashed around in the chat or in voice by people who GENUINELY hate me. The fact that top players are fine with hanging out with these kinds of players who are so incredibly vile and genuinely hateful just shows the community is not great. The only reason I'm still playing is the game is incredibly fun but at this point I hardly want to play because dealing with throwers, very huge ego and very toxic players is simply too much for me to handle

I kinda just distanced myself from every high elo community 10 years ago despite playing at top elo of everything cause the egos are annoying at best and people take the shit way too seriously

so have my friends that actually have good aim ingame
at least for overwatch or tracking/movement heavy games like strinova it's kinda useless being our conclusion
fuck i was global rank one for target acquisition switch at one point and had wr-top 10 on reflex flick type scens and i think it's the ultimate useless scen compared to just spending that time doing some pokeball ts if you really want stopping ability and then the rest into precision dynamic dots/tracking
actually target acqusition switch is way more useful than speed-type static scens we see a lot these days
it's almost like aimtrainer community regressed from playing functional scens into circlejerk scens
they've become the exact type of people as tile frenzy grinders of the past that they made fun of in the past for playing useless flex scens

Most people aren't doing their aim training for scores. They are using it to help benefit their game. Maybe for strinova you aren't going to use static as much, but you'll still have beneficial help from doing it along with everything else. That's why it's important just not ignore it

People are completely different among eachother. Like, I competed in CS with both Asuna and Kanpeki and those guys never aim trained in their life. Asuna would login to scrim and drop 150 ADR no problem versus MDL teams no problem.

I think most people will simply improve following the general advice. Like before really taking aim training seriously I got new type in GEVO and that's arguably as aim intensive as strinovs. I got to crim as diamond in cod then by time I hit jade (s4)I made it to iridescent. Those aren't insane ranks by any means but whatever I was doing was helping
And that's with me using resources by the typical top aimers that produce educational content
