So you want to make sure you buy best things in first 5 buys so entity doesn't eat them.

DH is popular because if you can get the timing correct then

• You get 1.85s of 65% increased speed
• The Killer has to recover from the Attacking animation
• The Killer wastes a resource if they have anything limited tied to attacking (Coup De Grace, Play with your food, Hatchets, Axe, etc) and have to recover it or just flat out lose it depending on the resource
• Depending on Killer they might end up trying to bait out Dead Hards in future chases which could give you extra distance you wouldn't normally get
• And you trigger anything based on Deep Wound or taking a hit

It's incredibly high risk, but very high reward

In first clip you did it a bit early. Killer did lunge from far distance and you need to wait like 0.1 second longer, than you should be fine. In second clip that was just unlucky. Some killers will outwaits DH and some will not expect it

Nah, this perk is good. Its just hard to use it, you need some experience. Its have kinda the same purpose as the exhaustion perks — made your chase longer. But with some differences:

— You can't use it from the start, you need to be hooked

• You don't need any conditions to use it, like vaulting or falling from a great height.
  — You need to not be in mend state. Some killers can outplay DH with their abilities (like Legion) but this is rare
• When others exhaustion perks will only give you a speed boost, Dead Hard will give a slowdown to killer
• It will reset killer's bloodlust
• Also you can combine it with some perks like MFT

The main problem is inconsistency. But it's easier to use DH against some killers like Huntress or Executioner because their power travels for long time and you can react if you have some distance. Also this perk is much stronger against one-shot killers like Billy or Myers because you basically have one more health state

This is very easy to counter. Just don't heal or leave yourself with 99%. If you already injured and you got hit by Ghoul's or Legion's power then they did mistake because you got speed boost and they got slowdown. Also you can use DH against Deathslinger, there is small window when you can move after he reclaim his harpoon to hit you with attack

You can't hide bushes, grass and other stuff. You can try to to change "Foliage" setting in config file but it will just make quality of grass better or worse

So this killer is kinda simple. He has 2 active abilities and 1 passive:

— He can teleport to any locker on the map. This is mainly used for mobility but sometimes can be used in chase
— He can set "remnant" (black shadow) on the map and tp back to it. This is his main power for chase
— Periodically a Nightfall will be activated (everything goes dark). It's getting hard to see for survivors and they can't hear killer's terror radius. Instead they can hear screams when he getting closer. Also Dredge's teleport will recharge much faster

Also as a survivor you can lock lockers so it will take more time for Dredge to get out of it. But every locker can be locked only once

Yes, this is very common combination. This called "naked Ruin" (because there are no Undying to protect it). You have Ruin to regress gens when you are chasing survivors. After survivors cleanse it, you can use Eruption instead

So you can look at hook and if you see someone nearby — go for different hook. And some killers can kill without hooks like Pyramidhead, Pig, Sadako

1.) If they are too far when they start sabo, I just go to the next closest hook
1a.) If the next closest hook is too far, drop and go after sabo, usually you can still get the original surv you were carrying if you do it right, just have to wait a bit

2.) If the sabo surv is close enough, I just hit them while saboing and if they don't run then they go down and hook the surv they were trying to save anyway.

First of all you can not use your power efficiently because devs nerfed her to the ground. Idea here that you want to set drone in loop and rotate it, until survivor got scanned 3 times. After that he will be injured and you don't receive slowdown like after basic hit. So you can quickly catch up. And if you scan him one more time then he will run slower

1. When we were asking "What codes" we were asking what specific codes you were talking about, not how the code system as a whole works. You said "the codes" which implies there are codes we getting for some reason, which means there is something you know and we don't which means you need to tell us.

There's Reshade you can mess about with, using that is not against the ToS. It can cause false triggers with the EAC if you're unlucky though, and customer support may not necessarily be able to help you with that.

For gen rushing you want Hyperfocus, a lot of people also bring Stake Out. You really need a good toolbox for that too, ideally a Commodious either with double charges or a Brand New Part and the better charge item. Finesse and Lithe is a decent combo for use in chase, but I'd advise against using perks like this until you're already good at the basics.

These skillchecks are very small and unexpected, this is a high chance that survivors will miss them at first. After that they can expect them but it still not so easy to hit these shillchecks. Also Opression will start regressing other gens if there are no survivors on them

I've run eruption instead of surge in previous iteration of this build. Had same problem - reg cap. Madous said eruption is the culprit there! Pop is a lot of damage on one gen, once per hook. Eruption is 10% on many gens, that you already kicked, per down (so 2 instances per gen)
And Eruption makes gens yellow which messes with my iri addon. This iteration feels just perfect

What I do without uncloak speed is: 99% uncloak once for each surv so they drop the pallet, I break is fast, we go to next pallet, then I fully uncloak and hit, since they probly expect me to do same trick. Once I did that for a surv I'm chasing, it's a 50/50 guess game, and they usually will drop since a pallet is less value than a hit -> I usually will fake uncloak for that reason

Don't use it in the open or when the survivor has plenty of room to dodge, like on the other side of a small loop. If they try really hard to juke it, you're still faster than them while holding the power so they lose a lot of distance, and you just cancel into m1. You have to start charging and shooting before they reach the chokepoint, which opens you up for mindgames if they're at the edge of the range and have room to leave the chokepoint

Ruin is very strong but inconsistent since it is a hex perk

You need to use your power in tight spaces where survivor don't have many options. For example under the pallet. Survivor can't dodge your attack in this place so its guaranteed hit for you, just be patient. In most situations survivors will fake going into the pallets or doorways. Also you can try to hit them through the walls but you need to have good understanding what survivors are gonna do. Some of them will wait near the window right after vault to see where are you aiming so they can react and dodge

Iirc yes. But you need to wait 60 seconds to get rid of broken from Deli and 20 seconds afterwards to get healed by second wind. There is a high chance that killer will down you in this time

Vigil would not work on Second wind. You have broken status effect until you got Second wind deactivated. It deactivates after 20 seconds when it heals you

Syringe: Removes exhaustion
Styptic: 15% more healing effeciency (Basically useless)

If you look in the live servers, you will see the current, or older, versions of these addons
If you look at the ptb, you will see the reworked, or newer, versions
These changes are not guaranteed to come into the live servers

It was fine during early days of DbD coz BP was scarce and it felt like progress to get a perk level

when people say "same mmr" they are most likely referring to "mmr" close to your mmr,
as you've pointed out, it is impossible,
but if it's just "similar" then it works, high elo players often have problems due to differences in timezomes

the mmr is pretty loose. i have about an 82% escape rate and can get queues pretty quickly. there's a softcap in place to prevent this from spiraling out of control. Before the softcap was in place it would take a LONG time to find a suitable killer. basically you can play anyone that is above that softcap if you manage to hit it. Otherwise queues would take forever.

BHVR always listens to survs.
When MMR was introduced but there wasn't a cap, poor tryhards were being matched with other tryhards - nurses and blights.
These are sacred to BHVR and can't be nerfed so instead they made it so tryhard survs can be matched with weaker killers too

It's odd imo, the perk is good. If in the event of slugging, Unbreakable helps counter that scenario very well. However, depending on each players experience, exposure to slugging may vary. For me personally I experience being slugged once every lets say 20 games. So in most cases for me, it's a perk slot not being used

alright. Well, i have a lot of survs at prestige now and i don't really have anything specific anymore that i want to get. I want to just know survs who would have the most versatile perks cuz i like to change builds every now and then.

slugging happens a lot and its good to have in there, tho id recommend using it with decisive strike
and personally i prefer plot twist instead of ub since you can down urself and u either get picked up with ds or get slugged and ur full health, also good in forcing the killer to pick up

alright, thank you. I do love the conviction soul guard combo tho, since i either get away from the situation or get picked up either way but waste the killers time. I did use ds a lot but i just don't see the perk as good cuz it hardly ever gets value since killers can expect it

well you can just stay in a locker if you re not deep wounded and ur expected to die soon, killer either sits there 1 minute or leaves u and loses tunnel out

Is ghost face ability just being able to sneak up on people? The stalk ability seems way to slow to be useable

Activating your power makes you Undetectable until you attack or are Revealed (more on this below)
While the power is active, you can Stalk survivors for 5 seconds to Mark them and make them one-shot for a while. If you stalk from behind a corner (you'll see an icon when it's possible) the stalk speed doubles.
Survivors that look at you for long enough can Reveal you and forcefully end your power, putting it on cooldown. Marked survivors cannot Reveal you.
