Unfortunately its part of every game, people just vent their irl issues by being rude and trolling. Tbagging and body blocking are extremely common in dbd. Just make sure to take advantage of the distance they didnt get by tbagging and to not spend too long getting body blocked and hit instead

you won't believe me but i have no idea how the flashlight works in dbd. I know it stuns and blinds killers but how do you know when there blinded and such as survivor?

As the blind progresses, you'll see your flashlight beam shrinking. You'll know the blind succeeded when the beam rapidly shirnks and then goes back to normal size.
While you can blind the killer at any time, it won't normally result in a stun. Blinds will stun only if the killer is carrying a survivor- a successful blind will stun them and rescue the carried victim.
Also, keep in mind that killers can easily avoid blinds by looking up or down. The best times to get a blind is when the killer is locked into an animation that prevents them from looking away, such as breaking pallets or picking up downed survivors.

hyperfocus means if survivors are left uninterrupted on a gen, it goes absurdly fast. Blight pressures everyone constantly, so they get interrupted often

You place up to 3 birds down and launch them. If the survivor gets hit close range they get injured, long range they get swarmed. If a swarmed survivor gets hit they get injured

The birds travel through walls but after going through a wall they can only swarm/injure swarmed survivors

Survivor can repel the swarm faster than your birds recharge if you use more than 1 bird, repel progress is reset if they perform any interaction other than running (or entering a locker)

Hex: Devour Hope is a Teachable Perk from the Hag. Unlocked by default for the Hag and available for all killers at base tiers 1/2/3 after prestigeing the Hag to P1/2/3 respectively.

At the start of the match a random totem "houses" devour Hope. It will glow orange and its aura will be visible to you so you know where it is

Every time a survivor is unhooked and you are outside a certain radius (as indicated by the perk icon lighting up) Devour Hope gains a token

Basement Bubba typically refers to people playing as The Cannibal and using a dedicated build to trap players inside the Basement. You hook a survivor there, then stand outside of Basement and wait for someone to try and save their teammate. But since Bubba can instadown with his chainsaw, this attempt will fail and now you have 2 survivors in basement.

Surv players love to whine about anything, don't you worry. The list of rules they set for killer players is infinite and absurd, just ignore it.
If you do really worry about providing a fun match for everyone, avoid: camping a hooked surv, and chasing the freshly unhooked surv - these are two long standing things that even devs are trying to address. Also don't afk and don't DC. Everything else is 100% fair game

There are offerings that determine the position of the hatch. As long as nobody else plays a different one and you know the position of the killer shack/main building of the map, you can get to the position the offering forces and close it the moment the second to last survivor dies on hook

Yes, though I believe not all maps have one. The main building one is more consistent in its working, though of course you'd need to identify the main building of each map.

Her ambush isnt that great if the survivor isn't already close enough around a tile to get a hit its very easy for survivors to hold w and you not have enough distance to get the hit if they are reading you

You're only missing artist and deathslinger from the generic recommendations, but other than that, personally I'd say singularity for forced hesitation on plague, and machine learning is fun in general, skull merchant cuz thwack on nemesis is some of the most fun I've had in the game, hag is also nice if you like hexes, blight on top

tombstone myres was before the rework. it allowed Myres to instantly kill (Mori) survivors reguardless of hook stage. when reaching tier 3, but the stalking time was way longer. (but doesn't matter since it's now base kit, except survivors needed to be on death's hook)

try running the help wanted ad, it's a good way to get a feel for the axe's trajectory. springtrap is definitely one of the HARDEST killers in the game, and certainly not the most rewarding, but if you get good at him, making bold plays like throwing the axe over walls or otherwise going for trickshots can yield very satisfying results. one of springtrap's greatest strengths is that the axe can arc over obstacles, so keep that in mind during chases and always look out for opportunities to hit survivors. sometimes you just have to cut your losses and discard the axe, though, because the +0.2% speed increase when springtrap doesn't have the axe makes a gargantuan difference when chasing a survivor.
