For Oni I’d recommend trying something like Infectious Fright, which helps significantly with making the most out of your every Blood Fury.

Monitor and Abuse combines well with it, since it both makes your terror radius smaller out of chase, allowing you to approach survivors earlier, which makes getting the first injury easier, and makes it bigger while in chase, effectively increasing the range of Infectious Fright

Lucky break is good if you’re playing with friends. It’s frustrating as hell when you and a random teammate are both injured and they want the privilege to be healed first. Also, coincidentally, lucky break is more powerful again anti-heal perks such as sloppy butcher and weeping wounds. It’s not healing amount that recharges it, it’s the time it takes to heal. So, the longer time to heal, the more you recharge.

And then after that happened, it doesn't feel fair to punish the others for the absent player, so I don't even go for eight hooks anymore out of fear that someone else might do the same.

I've been using it for a while, it's really good with Lithe for losing chases but it's also just generally good for buying time. Mostly due to the fact that most killers typically have a more difficult time following you after using Dance With Me and cutting LOS

And if they get a hit on you as you vault a window, as what generally seems to happen in chases, it punishes them by giving you a lot more distance without scratch marks

@civic kelp this is not true , realese skull merchant aka chess merchant was able to hold 3 gen till server shut down ,then she got full rework aka skull merchant 2.0 (in this state she couldnt hold 3 gen at all and she was very bad at it wich is good ) then ppl complained cuz they didnt wanna learn abt her and cryed how she is still 3 gener refusing to play against her and give up , some known CC was activly refusing to learn what she dose( but activly complain and cryed abt her) and was telling his viewers to hate on her and give up cuz insufrable person , due to many complains and cuz ppl were giving up against her her kill rate jumped to 70% they cut her power for 75% and insted of buffing her in some places they just gave her 5 more HEAVY nerfs wich made her worst killer in game ,they did that intentional untill they can rework and we were geting design preview but cuz it was bad and turning her from trap killer to dash killer they scraped it and we are at drawing phase again,dead line is in second half of 2025 wich i dont think they will make it. Just to say Cc alone wasnt reason ppl didnt wanna learn new version and gave up , ppl genunly were ignorant and didnt wanna learn her and gave up when they saw its her ,cc was just adding to that

Best advice I give then is don’t be toxic, not saying you are, but teabagging, flashlight stunning (without reason, for example you’ve ran away and are just trying to stun them for blood points), all contribute to reasons I personally may tunnel, emotes too, if I see someone drop a pallet and then gesture to come get them I’m tunnelling them; they quite litterally asked for it

Another thing that personally makes me tunnel and this isn’t out of anger it’s out of strategy, if 4 gens are done and I see a survivor for the first time that match, even if I hooked lots of players, I’m assuming that player is the reason I haven’t won yet, I’m assuming they were healing, unhooking, and doing gens consistently, therefor when I see them I will chase until I win🤷

Guys so I’m very new and just had my first couple games as killer. So in the last game I was struggling to find people except one survivor (the one I downed first) and I hooked her twice before managing to hook anyone else, one of the guys sent me hate messages afterwards yelling at me for tunnelling(I didn’t even know what tunnelling was). Once I the survivors got the doors open at the end I let them escape as that’s what people have done to me. Am I in the wrong?

You will eventually get the hang on hearing survivors breathing, seeing them in the distance and generally pinpointing where they could be hiding. Its hard to do specially if you dont play much survivor, but you will start to understand with practice and time.

some tips is that they could be hiding behind rocks and bushes near generators if they sensed you were coming and they also do that a lot on hook saves to heal people

Controls for bull rush characters are just naturally a bit more janky on console due to less control, atleast it seems this way, his turn window is worse then hillbilly, I recommend trying to use it when survivors are going for pallets, try to hit them in straight lines. The middle school map is excellent for him in hallway chases

Skill issue, not really. Obviously being skilled enough to notice pallets and vaults on your own is really good, but Windows just shows the tiles and you have to be able to connect them yourself. It is a very helpful perk for the user so I would say that it isnt a bad perk or a waste.

I’ll let others more knowledgeable than me explain safe vs unsafe pallets, but if you sprint straight into the vault and hit it, you’ll do a leg swing over the obstacle, which is very fast. A medium vault is when your character quickly puts one legs over the vault at a time, which is quicker than yhe slow vault but not as fast as the fast vault

Like 4. It is good info but Reassurance isnt really needed except in very specific situations when the killer is proxy camping. Adrenaline is also alright but it got nerfed so it isnt that good unless it is on top of another exhaustion to ignore the exhaustion, finesse is also decent

How exactly does "Do No Harm" work because, the description says "When you heal another Survivor, for each Hook State they have. heal 50% faster and gain 3% progress for succeeding great Skill Checks." But when I tried out the perk and healed a survivor with one hook stage it gave me no healing speed but when a survivor with one hook state it gave them the healing speed when they were healing me when I hadn't been hooked at all.

i keep seeing a quest pop up whenever i pop out of a gen as the nightmare or evade a flashlight blind. it reads as "hit 15 survivor(s) within 10 seconds..." and is then cut-off. does anyone know what this quest is or where i can find it? all of my rift/event/daily/etc quests are caught up so it must be in the tomes but idk which one because the rest of the quest is cut off

You can just play and use the free characters as you build iridescent shards which will allow you to buy cosmetics and characters that arent licensed iri shards are earned via xp
You can buy a couple characters on sale and wait for the next sale
