Also, missed skill checks can regress blocked generators, there's no amount of regression that can stop missed skill checks from doing their 10%

because of how blocked generators can still regress from previous kicks, and because of how ruin ignores the regression blocking system in general, Ruin is likely still functional in these scenarios - however, this is something you will never see happen, as it's almost impossible to cause 8 regression events to hit a generator without actually kicking it (because you can't kick generators with Ruin)

unless you mean blocked like entity blocked from something like DMS, in which case yeah, they can't regress at all

Yes you know where three gens are and do them 6% faster but what's 6% ontop of 50% from a commodious and 1-3% extra progression for each skill check on an instant? The faster you do a gen the more likelihood that more skill checks appear blessing you with instant progression for just sitting on your ass for a maximum of 15 seconds beforehand. Plus if you pair up with someone else you do a generator ridiculously fast. Plus map knowledge and just scouting around beforehand and noting down gen locations yourself mentally should be enough unless the killer is purposely holding those gens.

Deja Vu is WAY MORE consistent tho, with Bardic you have a chance of getting a one, also the killer can hear you if you use bardic. Also the 90 second cooldown means you can only use it for one gen

Even when it’s being targeted it’s providing value in the form of keeping survivors off gens tbf. Once survivors realize it’s in play gen progress usually grinds to a halt because everyone starts looking for it.

its only weakness is the opportunity cost of not running something more oppressive, given you can't tunnel with most killers if you want to use it - giving it tokens can often mean giving up valuable pressure

Buying characters could be done by Iridescent Shards and Auric Cells - you get iri shards by leveling up your player account, Auric cells you get them by buying them with real money

Kindred and Bond are amazing like you mentioned and honestly probably the best options to go along with it. Honorable mentions would probably be Visionary, Windows of Opportunity, Detective's Hunch, Left Behind, and Plunderer's Instinct. Not all of those are necessarily the most useful outside of Kindred and Bond, but they're options.

What you saw are grades. Those are just an indication of time played and give you a Bloodpoint bonus each month. They do not influence matchmaking. Nor does a character's prestige (the number you see displayed next to a name in the end game screen).

These are the current grades. They are seperate for each role, and go from Ash IV to Iridescent I. By getting pips you can increase this grade. You get pips by performing well in a match. But as stated before, it doesn't do a whole lot. Just gives you a BP bonus each month. If you were to reach Iridescent I on both roles, for example, you get 2 million points the next time grades reset back to Ash 4. And that happens every 13th.

Is there anything I specifically can do when a killer refuses to go after anyone but one single person?

I tried to bodyblock for them, but I just got hit and then the Killer ran through me, and dropped chase immediately as soon as they came across that person again.

yo guys I am very new to this game and I have tried around 3-5 times doing the survivor tutorial and every time I keep dying to the killer. How can i overcome this?

I have tried to watch youtube tutorials and i learnt to pallette but I still keep dying

Try to use pallets and vaults as best you can, using them together

Pay attention to the ground when going around the map to look out for traps

And theres a visual heart beat indicator you can turn on. Letting you visually see how loud the terror radius is

(The terror radius is a sphere around the killer, that gets louder the closer they are)

I have tried these things yet keep failing, I have done another attempt but I still keep getting hooked and the bots do not come to help me after the second hook
