Pay attention to Charlotte and where she unbounded Victor. If you play distance you can hop in a locker, kill Victor and still run to safety before she comes.

Playing distance while being in pairs. Victor is difficult to dodge if the person playing The Twins knows what they are doing. If you have enough distance you can crush Victor and attempt to heal the downed survivor.

If you’re playing soloq, there’s no guarantee other survivors will know how to exploit her weaknesses… The Twins are really good soloq stompers.

Character prestige level = the level all of their perks are unlocked at instantly.

If you have a Prestige 1 character, that character's perks are Tier 1 on everybody.
If they're Prestige 3, they'll be tier 3.

You can use the bloodweb to level perks as well, instead of prestiging the character who owns it past 1.

No survivor is better/faster/stronger at anything than anyone else, no.

Killers are always meant to be slightly faster than survivors to make chases possible to complete. Increasing your movement speed is a niche effect under specific circumstances or perk usage.

Is there some kind of glitch that prevents you from hooking survivors? I just had a game as Vecna against two No Mither users but the game didn’t let me hook anyone except for one time when it did but the rest of the time the prompt never showed up and I made sure no one was blocking the hook in front, behind me or to the side and the hook wasn’t sabotaged.
I also did make sure I did press the hook button repeatedly just in case it was just the prompt not showing up but nothing was working

@solemn umbra @mossy hemlock hey I know this is a bit late but a lot of people tend to struggle mentally with this game and I try to encourage them when I can because I really do enjoy the game for what it is. here are a few things I've written down

I don’t have a guaranteed solution but for starters, redefining ‘winning’ can help. The definition as a 3 or 4 man escape is pretty rudimentary to begin with. The game already differentiates match result, from score, from emblems. And result doesn’t even take into consideration hooks or amount of generators completed. You could have 9 hooks and still get 3 outed or 9 hooks and get a 3k.

And none of this takes into consideration the game’s balance. So much rng goes into determining who had the ‘advantage’ in a match, the map, resource rng, to whichever perks either side chose.

In addition, or maybe as a result, matchmaking isn’t intended to be the most accurate. You’re not necessarily intended to get survivors at your skill level. More like.. a general bracket around what your match results determine is your ‘skill level’

So idk if any of this helps, honestly, just try to enjoy your player vs player interactions. Be happy when you pull off a cool mindgame, be free to experiment, and respect when someone else ends up outplaying you. And at the end of the match, you’ve played the game as best you can, there’s no need to judge or be judged by someone else for how THEY play.
I think a common misconception or misconceived piece of advice people like to give is that a certain playstyle or result will make you feel more satisfied. The main point is to establish how you want to play, play that way, and disregard how others want to play

what I will say is that I dont really mind when the killer tunnels. A lot of that can be avoided in the early game with good stealth, which a lot of people have much to learn with anyway. Also I just enjoy the attention. I actually care more when a teammate is being tunneled than me being tunneled. I like getting the attention lol.

dont get me wrong, tunneling killers exist, but as someone who has played a LOT of killer and survivor, its most often just a killer being opportunistic than actually trying to ruin the game

here's some stuff on avoiding being the tunnel out

there are a couple things you can do to help avoid being tunneled

For starters, early game stealth is super important. People tend to get on the first generator they see, but before you know who or where the killer is, you really should be prioritizing moving away from your starting position and stealthing.

Secondly, anti tunnel perks and altruism when you’re playing with friends. Survivor genuinely has a TON of options when it comes to wasting time. Sure, it may require some coordination, and probably won’t result in preventing a kill entirely, but it can certainly turn the game around

And lastly, while I see what you mean about it being boring to sit in lobby while you wait your your teammate, I don’t see being tunneled as a terrible thing when I’m on survivor. I just enjoy all the concentrated love and attention the killer is giving me, and I play to the best of my ability. Remember, chase is about wasting time, not escaping the killer

anytime there is a gamemode that modifies typical gameplay, everyone and I mean everyone is going to be playing more carefully. This applies to both survivor and killer.

people are just inherently more worried that the gameplay modifiers will interfere with their ability to play the game. I never see more powerful items than when we have an event roll around. I never see killers play more effectively than when we have an event roll around. Thats just how its going to be.

Chains of hate is the one with deathslinger and Zarina. They're both great characters with good perks each like Off the record for Zarina and for the people. Killer is also fairly balanced and fun.

For pinhead- He is basically gunslinger but with an easier to avoid ability. "I came"

For vecna - Why raise palettes again when u can just destroy them instantly, same time. Bubba, nemises, billy, many perks can just help with that not to mention many other can vault over them rendering then useless. For his fly ability, many killers has better teleport and movement, for his ranged ability, it's basically useless since high mmr ppl just crouch, similar to artist. Even dracula's wall thing is actually similar to pyramid and another i dont remember.

But no killer is just so iconic, no killer can just stand there and kill you instantly. Combined with that perk that blocks the exit, you have to counter play.
