I honestly believe it's an interesting idea a "Killer's Pocket Dimension". Altho I do see a problem of the current prototype lacks its "ways" killer Interaction on the Pocket. I tought would be a nice idea to the killer "not" manifest personally in the pocket, but capable of "See" it and maybe manually control the Beam of lights?
(Yes of course, letting the survivor know that the killer is currently seeing the pocket as a warning and balance).

Another idea what a some sort of "Collect Hidden Items" in the pocket while being pursued by roaming angelic entitys with similar Nemesis zombie IA, but longer you stay at the pocket faster those entitys would get. If they "hit" you would affect the same way of being hit by the current prototype beam of light.

And the items positions would be RNG (To avoid survivors to remember and learn where items could spawn)

Looking more into the current Prototype of the Killer's power, I think would be interesting to have a variant/switch mode between a Light Beam and a Heavy Beam attack. The Idea was that the Heavy Beam could be the Current Prototype (From the time I'm currently talking right now) and the Light Beam could be something more "Fast and Controlable" but weaker.

More like a "exposure" beam of light, which would work as a close ranged ability. Holding down the ability button would charge a 6-8 meters beam, similar how the doctor charge its eletric shock, once is fully charged the Killer will shoot it from their hand. It doesn't go thru' walls. If it hit a Survivor, it gives a debuff token, that if hitten again by the beam within 10 seconds, will injure them. Otherwise, they will lose the debuff token.

Similar how the unknown UVX debuff works. Can only injure them if "infected"

Its great for a anti-loop power. And need to remember that, just like the doctor, The killer would slow down while charging (Which would take 3 seconds to fully charge) the Light Beam attack and 1.5 seconds Cooldown (To avoid spam). Missing it, DOES NOT remove the Debuff token, It only gets away after 10 seconds after being hit. Injuring a survivor by any means will remove the token debuff.

But of course, those are placeholders numbers, and wouldn't say its good because I didn't tested it and how it would feel in a match.

As for the abilities, the beam coming from the sky i feel is definitely the way to go though btw. Makes it also more unique. Also for the killer designs i hope theres ones where the white and gold is only on any cloth the killer has because i like the flesh and eyes more for their actual body than the white like what was visible in the tease picture.

I got no complaints about the survivor teaser

I just want the killer to be beautiful yet grotesque if that makes sense.

think a long wall, pallet, short rock or something. artist can line up a bird through the walls or on the pallet. the new killer could just use their beam.

since from the gif it looked like the beam has infinte range or at least a very long one

I was thinking, the new "Pillar"-killer ability, what if instead of dealing an instant health state, the ability inflicted some sort of "Radiant Burn", if the survivor stayed inside the radiant light over a short period of time they loose a health state, the AoE would be larger. If the survivor managed to leave the radiant light, the burn would diminish over time. Moving the light would be slower, but balanced out with shorter charge-time or moving while using the ability. The UI could be some sort of yellow burning around the survivor portrait. The same mechanic could be used in the exile, larger aoe with radiant light, damaging if you stayed too long in them.

Both new abilities should stay, but with clear roles and separate inputs. The hand beam should be the primary power, available consistently for chase pressure to keep the playstyle smooth and reliable. The sky beam should act as a stronger secondary ability with a meaningful 25 to 30 second cooldown, similar to The Knight, preventing spam while keeping it impactful. Each ability having its own input adds depth and skill expression, letting players apply steady pressure with the hand beam while saving the sky beam for high value moments. and then this brings in an opportunity to enter the crystal collecting realm which has like a minute or two cooldown to enter perhaps

I don't feel like they're cutting corners. They realized that if survivors are too afraid/weary of using the artifacts, then they won't use them at all. An entire part of the killer's kit rendered useless.

Are they like old Fog Vials where there's a charge time before they're ready again? What happens if you're sent to the 'Void' for lack of better words, and have an artifact that isn't ready? Do you take two hits if healthy?

I watched the Community Stream and I saw that the devs were considering not allowing the Killer to enter the Hopeless Exile banishment realm.

I would like to vocalize that, while I understand that development needs change and there are deadlines to meet, allowing the Killer to enter the Hopeless Exile HAS to be a part of the power. I'm confident that the entire reason that many of us voted on this being a part of the kit was because it was sold to us as being a part of the power.

Having a 1v1 Ult Arena power was the entire selling point of this voting option, and I am certain that if many players had the foresight to know that it would just be sending Survivors to run around by themselves, many of us wouldn't have voted for it.

I think many players envisioned this power working very similarly to The Void when we voted for it.

If this kit does not enable the Killer to enter the banishment realm, I am extremely confident that this Killer would be a huge disappointment for many who took part in the voting process, as we would feel like we are not getting what we voted for.

I mean, we already have The Void and the Void used to have a timer that kicked everybody out of it - we know it is possible. Everything that is possible for it to happen already exists in the game.

I don't think it's a question of possibility for this - I know they said they were stressed about complexity but I truly don't think it's terribly complex at all. The concept of "1v1 ult arenas" is becoming increasingly more common in multiplayer gaming, I don't feel this would be a totally foreign concept for many gamers
