i guess i see where you're coming from but to me the crab legs just feel like such a good design choice. they're very unique and creative and they retain the character's divine status and energy by giving them this strange method of movement sort of detached from the rest of their body, like they're too holy to touch the ground. the legs read more to me like tools than they do actual appendages, and i really like the halo on the first design, as well as the wings. in my opinion this design just works. the second design feels like it's doing a bit too much. the wings look like a waistcoat which gives it a more regal look which doesn't fit in my opinion. it looks more like satan than it looks like an angel, since at least from the silhouette, the "halo" looks more like a crown or even horns.

i don't really like the idea of it floating, at least not in the way the second design depicts. feels a little too "dracula" for my tastes. the crab legs are a perfect blend of odd and divine, if that makes any sense. i think they perfectly convey the character's status while making them look overtly monstrous. it's almost like there's two halves to their design; the upper half which looks beautiful and holy, and the lower half with trailing visceral flesh and sharp, vicious magical legs.

Also they announced that we are picking the bases for the survivor's and killer's designs. The face and build for the survivor and the silhoette of the killer. Latter will be a basis for the full design in terms of power and final look. You can vote on the grimoire website like before.
