I think I play fundamentally different from you, I actually don't have a lot of luck/skill using the cameras but I do think they're a neat feature that actually incentivise players to go near the doors instead of avoiding them like the plague.. also when I play spring trap, he's not the fastest killer out there so when your getting out classed in terms of skill having that axe as an extra utility option to down or scare survivors into avoiding an area is a really nice way of saving a game or atleast evening things out

you can also go underground to move very fast and create a bigger explosion as you exit
these explosions stack tokens on survivors until you activate worldbreaker mode (which is when the sky turns red and clocks start to chime), at which point they deal damage instead
