- If you invite friends to your game, make sure you both are on the same region (for example US). Otherwise it won't work. You can change region at the top of the screen when opening the lobby window.
- It's still possible to get stuck in collisions, sometimes. When that happens, there's an option to respawn your character on valid ground. Press ESC or Menu and select 'Respawn'

Is the respawn function something that's specific to the playtest only? It teleports you not to the closest land, but rather near your board/barge.
If it stays like this, the best way to get high ranks would be to complete an island and then respawn over and over since it cuts down a lot of time especially in storms.
May be better if it stayed in the game for the foreseeable future, but only teleported you to a nearby good spot on the island you are on cause at the moment it's a very easy exploit.
